Today I have another special creation from the Couturier’s Docks paired with wonderful new releases by LeeZu and EMO-tions.
The “Chino” pants are made for the Couturier’s Docks and they are only available 35 times in SL. The “Chino”pants from NYU are made with the new mesh technique and they move dreamy ith the avatar, no weird knee angles and no broken limbs anymore 😉 The texture is awesome made with lights and shadows and again Nyunyu Kimono shows that simplicity can be the key for a wonderful fashion styling 🙂
The ponchop is the new “Scarf Poncho” from LeeZu, as well mesh made and a perfect addition to the “Chino” pants 🙂
The hairstyle, called “Tyra” is one of the newest of Mirja Mills owner and designer of EMO-tions.
The jewelry is belive it or not the group gift for may from Finesmith. A wonderful ensamble conatining earrings, neckalce and a triple ring with a wild nature texture 🙂

Today I am happy to do my first blog post for the Couturier’s Docks 🙂 As mentioned before in a another post, this is a very special event that features a few designers and some very special designs 🙂 (http://wiccamerlin.wordpress.com/2012/05/16/the-couturiers-docks/)
Today I just mixed and matched a few of them together as I liked the cute look that came out 🙂
The dress comes from SoliDea FoliEs and is called “Polly Doll” and it was made for this event. The outfit contains the gloves, the neck part that goes down over the shoulders and the cute corset. To make it easier to wear the corset, Mila Tatham included an alpha layer for that part of the body.
The hat looks like it was made for that outfit but it is not actually part of it. the hat comes off the house of h.m.a.e.m. and it looks perfect to the “Polly Doll” outfit.
Last but not least, Julie Hastings – owner and designer of White Widow – created an amazing facetattoo for the Couturier’s Docks. The “Feather” tattoo is available in different colors and you always have the option of wearing it with or without an eyeshadow.

I made it to the Culture Shock sim… finally and I have to admit… you can go broke there *grins* So many designers made amazing new creations and items for that fashion event.
The 2nd annual culture shock event opened on May 4th 2012 and will close at the 26th of May. The event is meant as a charity for Doctors Without Borders (known also as Médecins Sans Frontières). This new event will feature art, music and of course – Fashion.
Every store has a mandatory participation of one NEW and EXCLUSIVE (for the duration of the event) item that gives 50 – 100% of the profits to the charity, however because last year we asked for THREE items, most people have more than the minimum.
To start with something I combined the “Lozenges” dress in black and white from [Sakide] with the amazing “Brera” heels from YS&YS. But there are so many new releases and wonderful designs, that I have to part my Culture Shock styles in more then one blog post :p

I know it is a bit late but again SL ate some of the things, that I got sent for blogging. As I lately talked to Ezura Xue, owner and highly skilled designer of Ezura, she asked me if I would not have liked her items for the Fantasy Faire… and I thought she was kidding me… Ezura items PLUS fantasy… that would be me 😉
The “Dragoness” outfit really let my heart beat higher… I love dragons 🙂 The idea to have dragon heads on arms and o the head totally catched my interest and I started fooling around with stylings. After trying different ideas I remembered the “Shinobu” set from Finesmith, hat as well has dragon heads as its focus. the colors black and red are my personal favourite colors anyways so I just tried to find more of my fantasy styling accessories… The hooves might be not dragon like but for fantasy all is allowed
😉 The Fantasy Faire will close this weekend as far as I know, so if you wanna grab one of that fantastic outfits hurry over 😉

Last Week I had the pleasure to b allowed to come to the live casting of Maniera. Maniera was a dream for me for a long time and I was very happy, that I made it through the first round and was invited to the live castings.
Maniera always stood for some extraordinary for me. The magazine they do, always was made in high quality and the models who are working there are all wonderful girls and guys with a great sense of fashion and style.
The live casting had a very cool theme and it was told in a little story so that I would like to just steal the words off the NC I got from Katherine Comet (Yes, I asked her and I may use them she said. Thanks for that Kat 😉 )

Your talent agent has gotten you an audition to be a supporting role in a Jungle Safari Thriller movie as the sidekick assistant to the leading actor who is a Detective trying to solve the case of a missing person. You’ve been told you would be carrying all of the detective’s paraphernalia but you have to look good doing it. You really want to knock their socks off with your knowledge and incredible ability to look like you’ve “been there, done that.” Your audition will take place on location, IN THE JUNGLE, so you have to be prepared.
You know you have to be practical; the bugs and animals are out in full force but have been told you may not use any prim material which covers your face! You MUST get this job as your career depends on it.
How would you dress and be prepared for the perils of jungle life, but still look the part of the supporting role in this major movie production?

The challenge it self was great fun for me. I tried to slip into that role and thought about it very seriously.. about not having high heels walking through a jungle and carry stuff around, about all the bugs and little animals that would eat me up if my clothing would be too short and show too much skin… all that stuff. And while I was searching through my inventory all that old movies like Indiana Jones, Crocodile Dundee, The Mummy and many more came into my mind and slowly a look was born. Thanks to all of the judges that made one of my dreams come true and took me to Maniera as a proud Maniera Model 🙂

[LeeZu!] is having an extended contest for you to show off your styling skills, MEN are strongly encouraged to participate.
♥ What is it?
Every Sunday for 5 weeks we will announce a different color in which you style a [LeeZu!] outfit. We will choose a weekly winner and at the end of the contest for one last challenge, all the collective winners will style a final themed outfit for a Grand Prize of 10,000 Lindens and 5 Fat Packs of LeeZu’s newer releases.
♥ When is it?
Once a week on Sunday (by 6AM SLT) we will announce the color of the week. The idea is to be creative and make a FABULOUS outfit mixing and matching any [LeeZu!] Collection item that is in the store to come up with something unique and wild. We would love to see some MEN come in and style something killer…hint, hint!
All photos are due by the following Friday no later than Midnight SLT and the winner of that week will be announced.
♥ Who wins it?
One winner per week for 5 weeks; he/she will receive 3 Fat Packs and a spot in the final challenge. The Grand Prize winner will receive 5 Fat Packs and 10,000L$.
The only limit to this contest is your creativity and imagination. Use as much [LeeZu!] as you want and don’t forget we have a HUGE furniture section.

♥ THIS WEEKS COLOR:: GREEN
THE RULES::
1. Use any [LeeZu!] piece you like with a minimum of 2 items, the more [LeeZu!] the better!
2. You must stay within the color hue of the week. A pop of a different color is acceptable but the base outfit must be the color of the week.
3. A professional photo is not necessary but snapshot with a good view of the created outfit is needed, however all professionally edited photos are welcomed.
4. You must add a styling card, this is a Notecard stating what you are wearing and the color. See example below.
5. Please use a Notecard titled ” [LeeZu!] Color Me This Contest- AV Name ” , add your photo and styling card and return it to TraLove Pinazzo directly. She will confirm she has received it, if you do not get a confirmation IM within 24 hours, then please resend it.
6. Photos are due by Midnight Friday SLT, and the new color will be announced by 6AM SLT on Sunday morning. The [LeeZu!] Team has the right to disqualify any entrant at their discretion.
7. Be creative, push yourself, style outside of the box. We just ask to keep the nudity down.

3. Did you stay within the color hue for the week?
4. The clothing item must be available in the store! Discontinued or items no longer available to the public are not allowed.
