SynsualSyn Sawson for “Claim the Fame”: Week 5 – Leather & Lace

For the fourth week of Claim the Fame the designers had to create a Leather & Lace attire for male and female and make a description that was read during the TV show on Metaverse TV(http://metaversetv.com/blog/2011/05/claim-the-fame-5/)

All designs are available at the KULT District (for slurl please click here)

SynsualSyn Sawson: “The Female Outfit “DeVille”  marries leather & lace in a stunning and unique way.  Syn shows off her shading & texturing talent on two of the hardest colors, black & white.  The form fitting, two toned leather body suit begs to be touched while the lace on the upper chest gives you tantalizing glimpses of skin.  The black belt gives the body suit definition with an added pop from the jewels that match the lovely multi-faceted diamond necklace and bracelet.  The two toned stole brings sophistication and a bit more softness to an already sexy, fashionable, and classy outfit.

The Deville Male Outfit shows just how hot men look in tight leather with the two toned, black & white pants with cuffs, also showing off her shading & texturing skills.  The formal jacket with collar and trim is supple & elegant.  The shading and seam on the back of the jacket, as well as the collar and split bottom trim, bring this jacket to life.  The jacket is left unbuttoned to show off the male physique as well as the white undershirt with split formal cuffs and straight collar.  The flexuous belt and two toned lace pocket hankies give this look the perfect finishing touches.  The complete outfit is a statement in couture elegance and style.

Lexi Vargas: “Gentlemen Dare.
– ‘Dare’ to wear this edgy combination of leather and lace for maximum impact 🙂 But don’t worry, the unique way the jacket is cut makes wearing red lace look masculine.   The matching black leather pants dip low onto the hipline leaving a sizeable portion of torso available for appreciative viewing. ‘Dare’ is complemented with stand up collar and cuffs subtly edged in red.

Ladies-Sweet Leather
‘Sweet Leather’ makes leather seem soft and feminine. The fit n flare skirt consists of panels of lace enclosed in leather that flow to the floor in the latest maxi length. The bodice of sumptuous white leather with a lace panel at the front and black laces to pull in the waist which finish in a bow. Ruffles of leather define the decolletage and  hipline adds to the beautiful proportions of this dress. ‘Sweet Leather’ is the perfect outfit for a midsummer’s eve 🙂

Inga Wind:” Nari seduces with her bare right shoulder, while separate layers of leather and rich lace meet on the other, binding into a strap. Both layers cling to each breast, giving a hint of the cleavage in between, while leading the eye down to the softer ruffles of leather attached to the intricate belt. The set also includes medium long pants with delicate leather flare extensions. ”

“Nairen is an eye-catching sleek indian-leather inspired outfit, blending together the eastern and western accents. The top features traditional asian sleeves and Mao collar, leading the eye down across a layer of truly golden lace. Decorated with distinctive details along the edges, the long sculpted extension is fastened with a half-seethrough, half-leather tailored couture belt.”

Inga Wind: “Josephine is an elegant come back to the jazzy 20s flapper style dresses, sprinkled with tiny ornaments and pearl strands along the edges of the two-layered top. Extending into a short and straight  feathery skirt, this sleeveless dress comes with matching decorative gloves leaving your shoulders and legs bare. The outfit is finished with a stylish net-hat, complimenting your bobbed hair with an attached blooming flower.

Joe is a classic suit for the oldschool tommy gun story lovers, featuring a tucked in buttoned up white shirt. Enhanced by sculpted sleeves and collar jutting from underneath the jacket, the outfit compliments the chest with its fancy matching tie. Tip your Joe wide-rim fedora hat and the street is yours.”

SynsualSyn Sawson: “The 1920’s Garbo Flapper Dress was inspired and designed around Hollywood’s Legendary Screen Actress and Fashion Icon, Gretta Garbo. Oralee Fairey shows you how the plunging neckline and the ornate hand beaded work on the front of the dress draws the eye to the allure of the cleavage and down to the shapely hips. The diaphanous layered skirt floats with every step on the red carpet. This ensemble comes with a feathered headband embellished in jewels.

The Fairbanks was inspired by Douglas Fairbanks the swashbuckling actor, screen writer and producer shown by the dashing Greywolf Fairey. From his Italian silk scarf tucked into his impeccably tailored double breasted suit, he is the epitome of the 1920’s debonair man about town. His hat worn at the 20’s angle of the rakishly devilishly handsome man, so hot he sizzles. Both designed and fitted by SynsualSyn Sawson for Claim to Fame.”

SynsualSyn Sawson for “Claim the Fame”: Week 3 – Darkness

For the second week of Claim the Fame the designers had to create a dark attire for male and female and make a description that was read during the TV Show on Metaverse TV. (http://metaversetv.com/blog/2011/04/claim-the-fame-3/)

SynsualSyn Sawson: “Wicca Merlin plays the fantasy roll of Princess Bellona of the Dragon Slayers as she gets dressed to go to war. Princess Bellona is in her dark castle, it’s dusk on the night of a strong full moon, she’s feels the dampness of the night start to roll in as she slips her Royal Purple Velvet skirt over her hips, sitting on the small of her back draping grazing her mid-thigh.

She checks in the mirror as she pulls the gold strap of her panty just over the top of her hips snapping each side against her skin, the gold metal embeds in to her skin. She sits on the stool reaching down to roll her soft purple velvet stockings over her legs tugging and turning them perfectly to mid-thigh. The stiletto heel holds her balance as she is bent over tightening the gold strap of her boots, fingers softly touching the Magical Green jewels encased in the gold band atop each boot.

She reaches behind her to grab her leather corset, slowly wrapping it around her torso. Princess Bellona smells the leather as she pulls the corset into place, fitting perfectly over her rib cage, cupping her breasts she feels the cold metal of the gold sewn in to the hem pressed deeply against her skin.

The velvet collar is latched around her neck with the prim the Magical Green jewels sitting on her shoulders; she can see the glimmer the jewels emit. Last thing she slips on are the soft purple long gloves after she locks the gold cuffed wrist bands with matching Magical Green jewels around her wrists.

This is how she begins every evening as the Dragon Slayer, one of the most elegant, well dressed Warriors known specially designed and fitted by SynsualSyn Sawson, Master in her field of design.

Harsch Sharktooth couldn’t be a more perfect Prince Drake of Ravenwolf, Prince of the Warrior Dragon Slayers. As he walks toward Princess Bellona, she sees a strong man, an honorable man, a man dressed as a Prince should be.

Poised and statuesque in his Black velvet and leather mixed pant, she notices the riveted studs wrapped around each thigh. As her eyes move up she sees the Magical Green Jewel on his belt, a faint green sparkle emits. His hands on his hips she eyes the polished studs attached to the leather encircling his wrists.
She moves her eyes to his chest and lock on the Dragon Slayer Crest etched into the armor of his breast-plate. The prim Titanium shoulder epaulets are sharply pointed making him tall and strong. A 5-carat Magical Green jewel sits just over his heart, what are the magical powers of this jewel? We shall see come sunrise.

With every step he takes, Price Drake’s black cloak sways behind him falling just above his silver studded boots as he stops inches in front of her. This is the ensemble of a noble Dragon Slayer. This is the design of SynsualSyn Sawson, Master designer to the Prince Drake of Ravenwolf.”

Vixn Dagger for “Claim the Fame”: Week 3 – Darkness

Vixn Dagger: “Just about Everyone associates goth and darkness with Edgar Allen Poe.  He’s one of my all time favorite author’s from childhood.  So as an influence for this project I used Poe’s poem “The Raven”.  The  men’s and women’s matching design sets titled “Nevermore”

Another point I tried to aim for is staying away from typical “Black” Clichee which is associated with being “Goth”.  I used Hues of Purple and black to add an iridescent effect to the pieces.  On the women’s dress you will find hand drawn Raven’s heads adorning the breasts.  On both the Men’s and women’s outfits you will find the fantasy aspect of hand drawn Raven feather adornments.  I wanted to have the Men and women Wearing these designs feel like the Dark Gods and Goddesses of the underworld.

Wicca’s Wardobe – Glamour Night with Finesmith & GizzA ;)

Lately Giz Seorn, designer of GizzA, put an awesome gift at the Finesmith Designs Mainstore as I was doing my shift. A wonderful full body leather overall. I could not resist to style kinda black & white, the new Finesmith Designs “Mary” pearls set matched so well to hit what I felt in that very moment 😉

The incredible combination of pearls and filigree metal even let me wear pearls even if I am usually not the ‘pearls girl’ *grins*. As often yula surprised me with some that I would not have considered in a usual way for my wardrobe and her genius talent for designing and creating convinced me to walk a new path and throw away old prejudices I had against pearls 😉 The “Mary” set for me is kinda new generation of wearing pearls in combination with delicate, noble metals 🙂 Thanks for that Yula *hugs*

The corset again comes from Trilobite one of my favourite designers if it comes to the ‘prison round the waist ;). The boots for sure are the “Prestige Leather Boots” made by BAX, still one of my favourite boots even if I have them for a while. The hair I found on one of my rare hopping tours at Pocket Mirrors. Now.. let’s have fun in a ‘Glamour Night’ *grabs her car keys*

Lexi Vargas: “Black Magic Woman is ready to weave her spell in this enchanting and sensual hand drawn ensemble. She wears dangerously low-cut pants that are a combination of strapped leather and opaque patterned silk  drawn together with a cleverly laced front piece. There’s a bra top to match featuring the same patterned silk and leather and long snug sleeves. Black feathers decorate the collar which expands into a fabulous shoulder ornamentation. Shroud wings trail after Black Magic Woman as a final compliment to her original style.

Hex is the enspelled cat who belongs to Black Magic Woman, although it’s a loose ownership as he’s got one of her feathers in his mouth. He strikes a  sensual note in his ornate snakeprint and leather wrapped pants with laced front piece. Add to those his leather straps, silk brocade draped top and shroud pieces that float around him as if he’s part of an enchantment – and you have the perfect companion for any stylish cat.
