I do not know how that happened but when I was ready dressed, ,I instantly got a Clockwork Orange feeling. I do love that movie, but didn’t see it for along time. So when I sat down and started to post work those pictures I had to watch it again to get the right feeling for it *grins* That ideas obviously was the reason why I added the bloody bat to my look and put myself in that grunge backyard. I started with the super cool “Nova Overalls” outfit from AsteroidBox, when I realized that they as well do have new shoes that completely fit to that outfit. While I was playing with the huge HUD and all its possibilities (maaany different textures and as well you can hide the shirt!) I discovered the striped version and remembered, that I had gloves that had a stripe option as well from {PSYCHO:Byts}. Certainly I needed some finger bandages as well to get the cool side of the “droogies” look. While I was looking through my L’Emporio Folder for those finger bandages, I saw that they had so cool new releases as well and the hat totally fit into my look – the cool collar as well! If I had planned to mix and match so many of my favorite designers I never would have made it, but this time it fell into place so easily… I have no clue how that happened, but I love it!

As soon as I put on that mega amazing veil from Nefekalum Tattoos (yes – it really is a tattoo with materials!) I did know I have to find those sharp kinda trademark lashes, which Alex had on just one eye in the movie – I found that at Shiny Stuffs. sadly I could not apply it just to one eye, like it originally was on the left eye only.

It didn’t happen for a long time that the imagination for a picture or story came so fast to my mind, after putting on just the first 2 or 3 items and I really enjoyed my journey in the past with that movie again. I have to say it again seemed very up-to-date to our times at the moment if you get the essence of that movie – that felt kinda scary, but I do believe in the human race to not make the future as dark again as it was in the past!

Germany seems to be weird sometimes, especially our government. Now that we have our Covid numbers going down constantly, even with the new virus variations… they can’t wait until the numbers are as low as the experts ask for – no we have to break open schools and kindergartens as fast as we can. I mea i see the problems, do not get me wrong, but what does it help if we are back to sky high numbers in the next 3 weeks and then have to lock down everything again?!? Can we not just wait like 2 weeks more until the numbers are low enough before we plan things like that? Especially as it was clear, that the numbers dropped really fast when the schools finally were closed again? Would it not make sense to put some effort into the internet and into getting the needed hardware to the kids who are not having any still? The online platform for Bavarian schools (Mebis) looks and acts like they would have been made in the Stone Age some when and instead of working on it it feels like they counted on the fact that the summer will kill the virus and it is gone after that. They had oe year now to fix things and besides the fact they allowed Microsoft Teams, nothing really has changed – and that wasn’t the work of our government *facepalms* It seems more important to hold on exams and schedules instead of taking care of our kids and their health. We all know now, that the kids do not get symptoms but they can carry the virus around secretly and infect all their family. I just don’t understand all those rules and requirements anymore. WE can have the kids in school, shoulder on shoulder, but we cannot have theaters and cinemas open who definitely have way better hygiene management for infection control, than any school has – at our school we do not even have warm water for the kids to wash their hands as requested. But sure, lets open the schools again for 3 or 4 weeks to again close down the whole country as the new virus variations push the numbers up again – If they keep acting like that and with the not working vaccine concept (we simply do not have enough yet and some do not have a 100% protection – not to mention there is not even one yet for kids under 16 years, which is allowed officially) we will go back and forth until summer 2022 🙁

Again I am in a cyberpunk mood – no wonder we just had the Mainframe event! I am super sorry for posting this so late but lately my RL is completely upside down. My mom got a new knee, and I still have to take care of her, cook, clean and walk her dog at least 2 times a day while I try to shuffle my work around as much as I can. Sometimes I am just dead in the evening when I am done with all my day work and I instantly fall asleep on the couch even if I made me some coffee to stay awake for some SL work.

But I still love making pictures and I try my best to not come too much behind with my blogging schedule 😉

Like I said sadly the Mainframe event is already over, but many of the releases I am wearing were made for that and now should have found their ways to the designers main stores I suppose.

Again I am coming to you with an amazing release from Midnight Order. The event just passed its half time celebrations and there are some cool new items available there. Until the 20th of February you can get all those amazing designs, gifts and news.

Today I would like to draw your attention on the release of AsteroidBox. The ultra awesome “Sabien” Outfit is their release for the Midnight Order event. It is a full outfit, coming in one piece – pants, corset, blouse and the amazing detailed chest ruffles, held by that beautiful gem. With the HUD you get a lot of different colors to choose from. And with that already being more than just cool, you even get a bloody and a clean version for all colors and parts. I always adored the mesh and texture skills of Leith – owner and designer of AsteroidBox – and with this ensemble made for male and female he again outdid himself. A definite highlight is the wonderful waist corset with the amazing detailed decor – not to mention the whole outfit is a total highlight anyway *winks*

Since I have a fable for mix and match looks,  I added the cool “KnottArms” made by the Eclipse Art Studio. I know I already blogged about them, but they are so awesome, come in so many colors and two different fabrics, there’s is a lot of more room for showcasing them 😉 They can be found in a gacha machine at the main store by now.

For the shoes and that outfit you usually would think about some Victorian looking boots, but when I saw the “*Refill*” boots – now as well available for as a female version – I could not resist to add them to my outfit and they gave the whole look a neat little, mean twist. I really love to add opposites that turn the whole look again a slight little bit!

As already mentioned, the “Sabien Outfit” as well has male body versions available, which brought me to the idea I could do a cool couple shoot with Redclaw Inshan my RL/SL partner. Usually he tries to avoid shoots, as he hates to redress and style (or being styled by me, saying what to add and loose *grins*), but when I showed him that outfit he was all in for it. He decided to go for the bloody version of the outfit and as well added some cool boots from L’Emporio – can you tell I am addicted to their shoes and not only to the shoes! The only thing I rarely can change is his hair – he loves his “Dext” hair from A&Y, but for this picture it was totally fine for me and … it is kinda his trademark so I didn’t start an argument about it.

Some of the decor used for this pictures you as well can find at the Midnight Order. The amazing fountain, which you can see behind us was made by [ContraptioN] and the little mechanical heart (having a holding pose in it too, which we didn’t use for this picture) comes from Reliquary (!R!).

I hope I am able to do more pictures with friends and family soon. I really do enjoy them a lot, even if they are usually more work or take more time, as I am not that used to it as if I snap just myself 😉

For the current issue of the Eclipse Magazine, again I was allowed to showcase a role play genre. My choice this time was Vampires. I wanted to cover the more traditional and vintage side of it as well as the modern one.

For the more traditional, Victorian one I had the great pleasure, to get some company from Vivien Delancoure. It is always fun to do picture with friends, but usually I just do not dare to ask, as sometimes I take ages until I have my final pose, shot and background. I hate to waste others peoples time. With Vivien it was different. She is a blogger as well, making wonderful pictures and creates most of her poses by herself – Just take a look at her Flickr HERE. So she knows how long it can take and that made me brave enough to ask her, if she would like to join me for a picture. Her style is usually goth-romantic or dark romantic, which already was perfect for what I was going for. She was so sweet and patient and made the whole shoot to a lot of fun combined with a lovely chitchat 😉 I have a feeling, that this will be not our last shoot together as it really was awesome to work with her.

Thank you Vivien, for your time, patience and a new growing friendship I do not want to miss again 😉

Finally Friday – Hooray!

Today I would love to show you some of the mega, amazing designs released at Mainframe and Midnight Order!

Lets start with Mainframe, a cyberpunk, sci-fi orientated event, which had it’s debut last year already. With it’s great success it opened its doors again now in January!

What caught my eyes immediately, was one of the amazing release from Lanevo. This huge pack piece called “Maneater Machine” is just perfect for any cyborg, sci-fi or future orientated look, which steps away from basic human looks only. You can imagine an alien having technical tentacles, or a cyborg with super cool, multiple arms added on its back – it definitely does set a statement!

The “Cyber Pulse” gloves from L’Emporio&PL could even hold the control panel for that cool back piece at the lower arm where you can see all those cables and technical parts. The gloves are super detailed and certainly they are bento enabled. If you style for a sci-fi look you cannot miss Graves. Jackie is one of the best leather and latex designers I know and with her fantastic ideas and skills she brings us only the best for years now. The bodysuit is BoM and with that the perfect base for any cyber look! Another incredible store is Butanik83. I discovered them last year on the first Mainframe events and since then I always have an eye on their releases. Their designs are incredibly detailed and textured – very realistic!

What I will use for one of my next posts a well, as the pictures today do not really give a good showcase for it is the kick ass waist part – a metal spine replacement part, with a rough and basic look to it gives an amazing vibe for any android, gynoid or cyber avatar.

The boots with the awesome spikes at the front come from {PSYCHO:Byts} and were released at the Midnight Order event. With the cool spikes at the front and the tight straps at the thigh, they make a perfect addition to any kind of cool and smart looks.

The New LeLUTKA Girl Gang!

I wanted to have that post done already but RL again meant to change my plans…

My mom had to be brought to hospital, as she needed a new knee. She was there about a week with surgery and after care. She has a super cute dog, that needed to be taken care of as well. I love my mom more than I can find words for, but if you have a daily schedule with work and what not , it does mean a change if you want to see your mom at the hospital and walk the sweet doggie 2 to 3 times a day. The dog is cute and can be as sweet as a teddy bear, but the same time she is so damn stubborn and not the lightest candle in the chandelier. Long story short… When it was my usual time to log on SL I was so exhausted and tired, that I simply broke down on the couch and fell asleep.

Now mom is back home again and since she has to walk with 2 crutches, she needs a lot of help still with cooking, walking the dog (she not yet is that fast, but she tries) and all the house hold stuff. I never thought that I would be able to do that besides my work and my own daily schedule, but it appears if it has to work, it does *winks*

But now, lets take a look at the new female heads from LeLUTKA. Around Christmas LeLUTKA was so generous to give out one of those heads as a group gift for quite a while, before it turned to a regular sale on the 26th of December 2020. It was the Lilly head. A cute, innocent and sweet head. I never before saw a full boundless, bento head as a group gift and certainly I had to tell everyone to get that head (there was a male one too which as well you can find at the main store now, too – Alain).

Usually I post the new heads with their original skin and shape first, but this time – since I saw them so many times already in their original look – I wanted to try something different. I still used all their original shapes, but with always the same skin – my everyday skin from YS&YS – and as well always the same makeup and face mods that I usually wear. The reason was to show, how versatile all those heads are and how different they can look even with all the same basics. With their new collections of heads, LeLUTKA again shows their insane, awesome skills for rare beauty and strong faces. LeLUTKA always set on diversity and fashion forward looking faces and with this collection they just once again show exactly that. Certainly all of those heads are boundless and have all the amazing features as always 🙂 . I can tell you if you started to wear one of the new Evolution heads from LeLUTKA and saw all the possibilities, expressions, moods and all the huge HUD offers you… you will never want to wear a different brand – been there done that *giggles* I love my LeLUTKA heads and for me personally there won’t be any better heads!
