MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Thailand 2012 by Son!a

Nearly a full MVW 2012 design including hair and the wonderful jewelry shoulder piece, Miss Thailand 2012 got from Son!a. Sonia made a wonderful combination of dress, jewelry and as well the hair. The wonderful “Thailand Dress” of Miss DiamondGem Destiny is made in a very elegant way with really delicate fabrics. For my post I chose the golden version you can find some more colors at the Son!a Mainstore as well. The skirt parts left and right are made wonderful flexible, the basic fabric looks kinda satin and the wonderful laces ornaments at the bottom repeat the texture that was as well used for the skirt layer. The small top gives room for a lot of skin at the belly and the shoulders are amazingly covered by this huge jewelry part that goes down from the neck over both shoulders. The armlet and the bracelet are as well part of theΒ  “Thailand Dress”. The beautiful hair with jewelry part also, unbelievable but true, is part of the whole outfit too, that’s why I said in the beginning it was nearly a ready-made full outfit for Miss Thailand 2012 πŸ˜‰ I really only added the earrings, the hairbase, skin, nails and shoes. Everything else you can see you will get if you purchase your “Thailand Dress” at the Son!a Mainstore!

MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss South Korea 2012 by Angel Dessous

The wonderful evening gown for Miss South Korea 2012 was made by Angel Dessous. “Seoul” is an awesome gown, that stands out in prim work and design. Nando Korobase tailored this awesome dress for Miss Caoimhe Lionheart for this years MVW challenge. The skirt itself is a masterpiece with the long train in the back and the short front. The ruffles and folds are made with such a love for the detail that you only can imagine how long Nando must have sit there and created them. His great skills for the texturing you can see as well if you look more and more up to the bodice. First the waistpart comes in the same basic texture as the skirt and the cleavage and shoulders are covered by delicate, filigree lace. This awesome lace you can find for the leggins as well, and they are wonderful shown because of the high front of the skirt. The chest part is not just a basic black part it looks like 2 overlapping parts – again the prove for Nando’s love for the detail. The little collar carries 2 wonderful ornaments that match the necklace and the belly jewelry part. Together with the fingerless gloves the whole attire is very sophisticated and classy with a fresh and modern touch. If you take a closer look you can see the little jewelry parts at the belly and the necklace. Both are part of the stunning “Seoul” dress as well, so you only have to add a pair of earrings – in my case the white version of the “Hermosa Espina” from Finesmith. The incredible headpiece as well is made by Angel Dessous. No wonder that this incredible beautiful gown made the Top 12 for the MVW 2012 challenge!!!

“One in a Million Contest”: Mea Culpa – “Shanghai Noon” could grab the win!!!

As well designed for the “One in a million” contest, I would like to showcase the second design Tatanka Kaligawa made for this challenge.

This gown comes with all parts you can see. The hair and shows are part of the outfit and even the amazing jewelry. What I was not able to show on the pics, the gemstones of the jewelry have a very tricky and great texture. It is glittering and glimmering kinda like an animated texture! I rarely saw such before and it really caught my attention. The same texture is repeated on the little balls that are attached on the shoulders. Such a shame that you cannot catch that in a picture but if you make your way to the Mea Culpa Mainstore and get this fabulous gown you can see it πŸ˜‰ as well you can IM me and I will come to the store and show you :). The name already tells some about the idea that was behind that gown – it has a huge asia touch ;). The wonderful fan with the spikes on the right hip and the wonderful flowers that remind on orchids… simply amazing!

The gown can be worn in 3 different versions. I tried to catch all possibilities with keeping one pose to show you what the changes are. Above you can see the first version. For this one you just wear the skirt layer and a special provided leggings under it.

Second possibility would be the so-called mermaid version. For that you just add the prims on the bottom of the skirt combined with the stomach attached prim and the skirt layer.

The last option would be a pants version. For that one you will find an extra made pants layer in your folder that is lightly different to the leggings for the skirt. The incredible hip attachment with the long trains for left and right go well with all versions of them but for sure you can experiment with it as you please. The wonderful shoes are as well part of that outfit as I said and they come with the Mea Culpa HUD to match your skintone perfectly. This outfit really is something special with all the possibilities to wear and all the additions you will get if you purchase that outfit!

Jeans are not Jeans ;) New Jeans from R:A:D!

Yes, it is true, jeans are not jeans πŸ˜‰ I searched a long time in SL to find jeans that let a female backside look really neat and sexy. Most of the jeans I found made a flat ass, or the pockets were too big… but now I found the perfect jeans for us girls at R:A:D

If you take the taxi to the R:A:D Mainstore you will find a bunch of different jeans, but all have one in common…anyways wich style… all will let you backside look so sexy that you will enjoy your avatar walking on your screen πŸ˜‰ A special design you can find is the asian zodiac version of the jeans. The have prim sleeves for the legs and are available in 3 different colors, black with red print-as we can see in the pic above for the dragon –Β  blue with dark blue print and white with black-grey print. All that for every of the asian zodiac signs! If you like skulls… you should try the “Hawk Skull” jeans. A used blue jeans with a neat hole on the left upper leg, where the skull seems to climb out πŸ™‚

Here we can see the “Tiger” version of the zodiac signs jeans in blue and the “Area 51” jeans, wich is available in black and blue. If you take a closer look especially at the seams you will see again the great eye for the detail, that designer Redclaw Inshan puts on his designs.

If you like it more uni you should take a look on the “rust” jeans. A brown and simple jeans, which is great to mix and match with everything to create a unique look ;). Another one of the new jeans is the “Industrial Skull” jeans, who is ornamented again with a skull print this time without a whole and on the right upper leg. The great black stone washed basic texture gives a very cool and smart look πŸ˜‰

All the jeans are unisex and the little back pockets fit perfect on a cute males backside too πŸ˜‰ For all jeans, also for the “Dusk Ripped”, you will also have a belt included in the basic version, matching to the color of the jeans itself.

Last but not least we have the zodiac jeans in white with the horse sign and a very special idea for the jeans, designer Redclaw Inshan himself showcases in this picture. The “Eagle” jeans have a print on the front side that will give one whole picture if you are standing with closed legs… a very cool and unique idea πŸ™‚

If you know the problem, that we females never find jeans that fit, you definitely should take a look at the R:A:D Mainstore and try that jeans… you will never wear different ones!

Show Review of Angel Dessous and PurpleMoon

Last Sunday I was walking a show for Envision that featured designs of Angel Dessous, PurpleMoon and hair from Tukinowaguma. I really enjoyed my outfits and just wanted to show them πŸ˜‰

My first outfit was from Angel Dessous and is called “Lian” here shown in the color ‘nightflower’. This great asian design leads to dreams with all its wonderful details and accessories…

The basic blue toned texture is full of wonderful little ornaments in blue and green tones. The gown looks parted in 2 parts one lower skirt and one upper that starts with that great prim attachment in the front, wich is lightly unsymmetrical to the right hand side. Another great attachment we find can see on the chest. Sweet little light ruffled parts make the seam of the top and only one neat line over the right shoulder connects the font and back of the dress. For sure the huge and great head part is one of the highlights for this dress and underlines the asian character perfectly. For the jewelry I chose the incredible “Victorian Secret” earrings from Finesmith. For the skin I used one of the new Glam affair ones out of the “Castalia” line in the natural tone. The lips are a different layer that blackliquid gave me once and this lips matched the outfitΒ  perfectly. The hair comes from Tukinowaguma and is called “Princess” in ebony.

The second outfit I was allowed to showcase came from PurpleMoon and is called “Queen of Hearts”. The name is program for this neat dress ;).Β  A short and very sexy dress. Poulet Koenkamp again shows us her amazing creativity if it comes to designing. The main color of this dress for sure has to be red πŸ˜‰ and it is not just a simple plain texture… way not…it is a firework of red tones and glitter and glimmering shades! The top is made like a corset with bare shoulders that let the possibility for great jewelry like the “In the Flash – Shpitz” from Finesmith.

The great “Disturbia Collection” veil and the “Sweet Cocktail” bracelets I am wearing also are from Finesmith πŸ™‚ Thanks to Yula who has those amazing ideas for extravagant jewelry!!! A total ‘head turner’ is the big, huge head-piece that also carries little, neat hearts to underline the theme of the dress and to repeat the floating hearts that surround the little, short balloon skirt.

5 big roses decorate the higher forehead and make also an amazing detail of the whole outfit! The “Metallic Silver Nails” are made by PurpleMoon as well as the “Kis” hair style that matches wonderful to the whole outfit πŸ™‚

My 3rd and last outfit for that show was also from PurpleMoon and it was one of the amazing bridal gowns – “Nefertiti”

This wonderful white piece of art is another masterpiece of Poulet Koenkamp, designer of PurpleMoon.Β  A wonderful, dreamy flexible veil goes down in the back nearly to the hips. The top is decorated with amazing detailed ruffles at the chest. The dress it self starts very tight and shows off the perfect shaped body of the bride πŸ˜‰Β  The more it goes to the ground the wider it becomes and a nother train that follows your steps over the ground smoothly.

The “Metallic Silver Nails” and the “Era” hairstyle here in platinum are also from PurpleMoon. Earrings and bracelets are again from Finesmith. The skin also is from the Glam Affair “Castalia” line

I hope you enjoyed my show review πŸ˜‰ If you wanna see more of the great designs made byAngel Dessous,Β  PurpleMoon, Finesmith or Tukinowaguma, just take the next free limo to their mainstores.

Mystical or Colorful?

(Outfit: Mea Culpa – Black Widdow, Skin: Nuuna’s, Pose: Body Talking, Model & Photographer: Wicca Merlin)

“Black Widdow” is the latest release of Tatanka Kaligawa, designer of Mea Culpa. A beautiful black and mystical gown that turns heads everywhere. The long gown is decorated with amazing silver ornaments that go over the whole outfit. The prims that are attached in the back give a lightly asian touch, and make a wonderful transparent contrast. The big “fan” looking back parts are lightly transparent and wonderful flexible and move behind with every step you take. The clothing layers are made of amazing detailed textures that give the whole gown a fantastic formal and sophisticated touch. The shoulders carries very noble and lightly puffy sleeves. A total eye catcher is the hat. it is connected to the spine and “hovers” over your head. Lace hangs down in the back and the front is decorated with light silver lines. On the top of the hat you can find 2 awesome flowers that add a lightly sweet touch as a sweet contrast to the spiky, silver neck collar.

On every ballroom event or dinner party you will be the center of view with that fabulous gown!

(Outfit: Mea Culpa – Black Widdow, Skin: Nuuna’s, Pose: Body Talking, Model & Photographer: Wicca Merlin)

My second outfit from Mea Culpa for today is a totally contrast to the first one πŸ˜‰

(Outfit: Mea Culpa – Noite do Brasil, Skin: Baiastice, Pose: Body Talking, Model: Dancer Dallagio, Photographer: Wicca Merlin)

“Noite do Brasil” is a colorful outfit for the brave and color loving fashionista…the Carnival in Rio, or even for the special showgirl that wants to be outstanding πŸ˜‰

The body itself is only covered by a wonderful short body suit without sleeves. At the belly you have an awesome gold framed space where you can show off wonderful belly jewels also πŸ˜‰ The center for this outfit is definitely the back where the big, fluffy pink and purple parts and feathers are attached.Β  The hips are ornamented with little feathers too. The feet are covered by 2 pink parts too what bring the theme of the outfit lovely back at the bottom. Silver, spiky additions are the ankle parts, the shoulder attachments, the chest decoration and the fabulous head jewelry. A combination of noble metal and feathers make the perfect head pice for this extraordinary design!

(Outfit: Mea Culpa – Noite do Brasil, Skin: Baiastice, Pose: Body Talking, Model: Dancer Dallagio, Photographer: Wicca Merlin)

In the end I would like to thank the amazing lady that was posing for the “Noite do Brasil” – Dancer Dallagio. She looked so perfect in that amazing design that I had to ask her if she would pose for that pics πŸ˜‰

Again News from Mea Culpa!

(Mea Culpa – “Style Disaster” /purple & white – Models: Arisia Ashmoot(l) & Wicca Merlin (r), Pose: Glitterati)

Unbelievable but true… the store is not long open and again Mea Culpa released new incredible outfits!

(Mea Culpa – “Kiss of the Scorpion”Β  – Model: Arisia Ashmoot)

The “Kiss of the scorpion” in a very egocentric and extraordinary outfit with many gorgeous attachments and details. A big twisted wild skirt covers the lower body and carries a strong scorpion tail. The top looks like kinda corset that carries 6 amazing tentacles.

(Mea Culpa – “Kiss of the Scorpion” /copper – Model: Daffodil Crimson)

Both shoulders are covered with amazing “shields” that underline the character of this wild outfit. For me the eye catcher on this outfit was the head-piece that can be worn with or without hair. A big detailed scorpion with a long tail and a very sharp and dangerous tail end πŸ˜‰

(Mea Culpa – “Japanese Sublime” – Model: Wicca Merlin)

A lovely contrast to the “Kiss of the Scorpion” makes the “Japanese Sublime” A asian gown that carries wonderful prim attachments beside the laced skirt and top. The big fan in the back is decorated with long sharp spikes. Round the waist as a wonderful contra you have sweet ruffles that move dreamy with every step..you nearly can hear them rustle πŸ˜‰

(Mea Culpa – “Here comes the Sun” – Model: Wicca Merlin)

“Here comes the sun”… the name is program πŸ™‚ A very light and strong glowing dress that only is made of prim attachments – even the top and panties πŸ˜‰

(Mea Culpa – “Here comes the Sun” – Model: Wicca Merlin)

The big head part gives the perfect imagination of a rising sun. All attachments are made perfect flexi and wave around your body with every movement. Haute Couture pur! You will be definitely be the center of view with this magnificant design!

(Mea Culpa – “Style Disaster” /white – Model: Wicca Merlin)

My last outfit for this blog is called “Style Disaster” and is available in white and purple (to be seen in the very first pic of this post). This outfit is a combination of all forms and shapes πŸ˜‰ A wonderful mix-up πŸ˜‰ The skirt is very tight long and decorated by amazing ruffles at the sides. The left right side also carries long and sharp glass parts. The glass look is repeated on the upper arm attachments. The top is opened in the font and allowed a peek on the skin πŸ˜‰ The shoulder and chest are covered by a wonderful smooth and round swirled ruffle that has an edgy part up high, this also carries one of the “glass pins”Β  Again we have a wonderful head part that doesn’t need any hair in my opinion πŸ˜‰ This head part also caries a sweet glass part that covers the left eye wonderful and gives you a mystical touch.

(Mea Culpa – “Style Disaster” /white – Model: Wicca Merlin)

As a special gift for all that add Mea Culpa to their pic section:

(Mea Culpa – “Lava Love”, Model: Arisia Ashmoot (l), Mea Culpa “Electric Temptation”, Model: Wicca Merlin (r)

“Electric Temptation” and “Lava Love” and a 10% discount voucher are the gift for all that add Mea Culpa to the pic section of the profile πŸ™‚ Both dresses are made with animated textures on the attached prims.
