A few days ago Dahriel messaged me if I could put a spring look together real quick, for the vendor of a new set of his poses. The “Giz” poses are a very special pose pack, becasue the poses are very expressive. I told him I would do a style real quick and he warned me and told me: “Let me send you the poses before so you can check that they match the styling. The poses are not that usual.”
Ok that was a challenge and I love challenges 😉
It took me a few minutes, but then I was sure what I wantd to wear and I am happy he liked the styling as well 😉

Today I would like to show you one of the latest releases of Bubble’s Designs paired with my newest pose creations, the “Cool Handbag Set” by Wicca’s Wardrobe. As I put on the “Jackeline” outfit from Bubble’s Design I suddenly had the imagination of a 80’s styling :p
The sheer bodysuit with the amazing belt and shoulder collar that makes this wonderful, sexy and deep neckline in the back , immediately reminded of some of the early madonna stylings. Usually I am not a friend of pink but the 80s sometimes just scream about pink and so I added some pink with the lips, nails and the “Paris Pink Fashion Handbag” from MALT.
Then I looked for some cool trendy handbag poses… I went through all my inventory and I found quite some but all looked kinda elegant and sweet and I wanted some cool ones. So what now… make some!
I went back to my secret laboratory and started to make some poses that would go with the look I just created. I did some research on RL magazines and found a picture that caught my attention and I wanted to redo this in SL.

The question that matters.
Sirena was a young woman leading a carefree life. She had a good job, no worries and the men courted her, though she did not really care for them. All in all, she did not really care for anyone but herself, using the same excuses we all tend to use. “That is none if my business.” “What can I do about it?” or “I don’t want to interfere.”
She lived close to the graveyard and when the weather was fine, she took a shortcut there from the bus home. One evening, she saw a woman on a bench, crying bitter tears. The woman looked at her, but Serena quickly looked away. When she was about to leave the graveyard an old witch – by the looks of her – stepped into Serena’s way and asked straight away “Why didn’t you ask the woman why she cried?” Serena was a little scared and mumbled, I thought she was mourning, this is a graveyard after all. What can I do about her grief?”
The old witch looked at her sadly and shook her head. “Dear girl, you need a lesson in compassion. I hex you not to be able to leave the graveyard until someone shows you the sympathy you denied that woman.”
Serena did not know if to laugh or to be scared, the old woman had disappeared as sudden as she showed up. Serena headed for the exit but ran into an invisible wall. She tried to get out at another spot, but to no avail.
Whenever she tried to talk to someone, they ignored her. After a while the place took its tribute, her eyes burnt out from crying over her own sad fate, her nails grew into claws, in short, she became a fearful sight. People started to run away from her thinking her a demon of some sort.
One day, when she was sitting numbly on a gravestone mulling over her fate and feeling the pain of being ignored, she finally learned her lesson. For the first time, she did not cry out of self-pity, but for shame and pity for all the people she had ignored all her life.
Suddenly she heard a warm male voice behind her. “Excuse me, can I do anything for you?” She felt the curse break and when she turned round she saw a man, just like herself smiling at her. “I think you can go home now.” He said.

I know that crows are usually black, but as iIwas styling, I wanted to do someting in a brown/nude tone for the HAUTE Magazine (http://hautesl.com/latest-issue/)
The quote out of the movie “The Crow” still was in my mind all the time when I was styling. I like dark fantasy novels and movies and so many of my stylings have some of those in the back, even if I do not always name them or tell about it.
For this styling I started with the “XXX” dress from LWL. I had it for a longer time but never something came to my mind what I could do with it. With the theme of the minimal colors for the HAUTE Magazine the brown tone matched amazing and I paired the crow theme with some steampunk elements like the boots from Grim Bros and the helmet from Diram. The amazing wings were a gift from Reclaw Inshan, former designer of R.A.D. Together with the leggings from LeeZu and the jewelry from Chop Zuey, the fantasy idea came to live. Cancion de la muerte
Nathaniel had just finished school and wanted to make a trip through Europe before he started university. When he was in Spain, he had dinner in a little bar when he packed for the night, the landlord warned him not to go to the nearby ruins after sunset.
As every young man, Nathaniel did not care for advise and thought the locals superstitious. His curiosity tickled, he thought he might just see them before going to the hostel. As he got there, he started to feel a bit uneasy. Then he heard the sweetest music.
He followed the tune and saw a little girl playing. First she ignored him, playing with her eyes shut, then she looked at him, turned round and went into the direction of the ruins.
He hesitated, but decided to follow the girl. When he entered the ruins he thought he heard moans and muffled screams, but he told himself silly. “When the little girl is not afraid, I should not be either,” he told himself. He looked at the girl again and suddenly he realized what was so weird about her, she was slightly translucent. His heart started racing and he was about to let pride be pride and run, when the girl spoke. “Help us! We cannot live or die because of the music.”
He looked round and saw a few ghosts lingering around, they all seemed unnaturally aged. They all looked at him pleadingly, Mustering all his courage, he asked how he could help. The girl said “Stop the music. Come!” She led him into a room in the ruins. There was a fire burning in the fireplace and someone was sitting on a chair. The little girl stopped playing but the music went on. She pointed at the person in the chair.
He slowly went round the chair and gasped in horror, there was a mummified old woman looking at the notes before her playing the violin. She had the same eyes as the girl and he knew her ghost led him to her body – or what was left of it. She played on and on. “Burn the notes,” said the little girl. He went around the chair, took the notes “Pierre’s Requiem” from the stand and threw them into the fire. Then all went very fast, the fire blazed up in a roar, the ghost of the girl was drawn into her corpse. Then there was a flash of light and the sound of thunder. Then, the music started again.
He saw the person in the chair had turned into a beautiful young woman, smiling at him while playing a different tune. He saw there were new notes on the stand and went to throw them into the fire, too. When he stretched out his hand he saw it was aging fast until he saw his own body crumbling into dust. The song was called “Nathaniel’s Requiem”. The last thing he heard was the woman’s chuckle playing his song.
