Showreview: BOSL Fashion Week – Virtual Super Heroes

Yesterday BOSL had a great show called “Virtual Super Heroes“. The show was part of the BOSL Fashion Week and it was great fun in the second show of this amazing row of shows.

Each model was asked to style his or her personal super hero look. There were so many incredible looks on the runway – it was just awesome. Free to style to a theme always is fun to me and if I am told have fun, go crazy… I am the happiest model on the grid :p

It was so cool that I had to snap my outfit and show it 🙂

Oceane Body Design – Skins for the Fashionista

Lately Morgane Batista told me about her favourite skin maker…Oceane Grumiaux, owner and designer of Oceane Body Design. Morgane made me so curious that I had to take a look at Oceane’s store. I was not able to look for long before Morgane popped in there as well and made me meet Oceane herself. I have to admit as I was looking around I really was surprised… Such great realistic and detailed skins…lashes,  makeups, eyes and eyelashes… why I never was here before?!? Oceane herself is a very kind and nice person and we started taking. In the end she gave me one of her wonderful skins and one of her makeup packages. Please let me introduce “Terry”…

As many know I am a very light skin type usually and so “Terry” in cream was the perfect skintone for me. The body is wonderful and such high quality in every detail – really amazing! Such awesome shadows and lights give the whole skin a very realistic look.

What really got me was that all of her makeups fit perfectly on her skins. often if I was wearing lipstick the original lip color of the skin came through on the boarders or even through the whole lips. For that Oceane made a natural skin variation where you can add all of her makeups and it looks like they are originally on the skin.

On the top of this picture on the right side we have the natural version of “Terry” without any makeup. On the left upper side we have the “Terry Smoke” variation. The 2 on the bottom are the first of in total 10 makeups that come with the “Mistress Mood” makeup package.

The lips are stunning with a very light gloss, but not too much and the eyes are beautiful dark smokey eyes. I never thought that I could enjoy so many different red and pick shades and that each one looks so different on the total look. I definitely will keep Oceane Body Design in my mind now and I am curious about new makeups and skins in the future of Oceane Grumiaux 🙂

First “Mesh” dress at Angel Dessous!!!

Lately i got my first mesh dress from Nando Korobase, designer of Angel Dessous. Thank god I just had down loaded the new mesh viewer *grins*

I have to admit I was a bit unsure and scared as I heard first time of the new mesh feature, that it requires another new viewer and that you cannot edit the clothing anymore… but after I saw how mesh clothing reacts while wearing it… I was totally amazed.

No more texture stretching, no more silly skirt prims between the legs, no more weird prims on ankles, knees and elbows or anywhere else… simply great!

What is true is that you cannot anymore edit the clothing itself so you have to modify your shape to make the clothing fit. Angel Dessous included 3 sizes of dresses with matching shapes that guarantee a perfect fit. I changed my own shape lightly to make one of the sizes fit. The “Katy” dress is available in different colors – for my blog I chose blacksatin, sunflower and orange 🙂

We can be curious what Nando Korobase will create next to let us ladies look awesome 😉

Mea Culpa goes Fetish Fashion!

As I promised in my last Mea Culpa post, there is another amazing outfits of the new Mea Culpa X-Treme line. Tatanka Kaligawa himself named it Fetish Fashion and created a new line beside the Avantgarde and Couture designs in his store.

Again we can see the basic fabric is kinda latex and for the “Black Mamba” we have those wonderful long and flexible tentacles all over. What caught my eye is the cool hat that looks very stylish to the whole outfit . A very sexy touch is given by the body and the opaque stockings that are held by garters and show lots of skin 😉

The absolute perfect jewelry for this outfit in my opinion is the “Noir” set from Finesmith Designs. The lashes are as well part of the “Noir” set of Finesmith Designs and go well along with the collar, the earings and the nails of the same collection.

Finesmith Designs – “Lovely” News

Finesmith Designs released a lot of new jewelry lately what again shows that yula Finesmith really is a hard working woman 🙂 For her, even if she releases a lot of new stuff, quality is always very important and you can see how much time and love for the detail she puts in each and every part of her creations. today I would like to show you the new “Lovely” set…

This set again has some really interesting parts. Yula always has different parts in her sets, so you not always getting just a pair of earrings and a necklace.. and mostly she sells the parts single so you can choose wich parts you like or need 🙂 For the “Lovely” set you have earrings, necklace, one bangles, one ring and this amazing eye parts the look kinda lashes with sweet little gemstones at the inner sides of the eyes.

For the outfits I mixed a few old time favourites of mine, like the “Cat Thighs”in red from LeeZu and a short primskirt from Cipher called “Chick”, mixed with the new “No!r” jacked from E-Clipse. The hair is one of the older styled from Miamai called “Anna Bun”

I only can highly recommend that you take a look at the wonderful new Finesmith Designs Mainstore and see by yourself all of the amazing new releases yula Finesmith created 🙂

Exciting News at Mea Culpa – A special new line at the Mainstore!

Tatanka Kaligawa designed a new line for his store with very daring and extravagant designs – the X – Treme line. Fabrics like latex and vinyl show their fashionable side 😉 “Time Warp” is one of the new collection at Mea Culpa and the one I wanna write about today 🙂 As you can see in the pic above the basic of the gown is a latex fabric. With all this great lightening it really gets a very realistic touch what is usually not that easy to make in SL. All the silver and metal parts make a very cool and modern look for the whole outfit. What caught my eyes is all this great attachment parts… the awesome curled spikes that go from the waist to the sides and again they are part of the head piece, the crossed belt, the flexible skirt parts that repeat in the head part and the ankle parts. The gown comes as well with a great steel collar that fits perfect to the whole design 🙂 For the shoes, I chose one pair of the lates shoe release at Mea Culpa as well… they are called “Trex” and I already had them in one of my older posts :)They just perfect matched the black and metal style for me 🙂

“Time Warp” is not the only new design of the new collection so stay tuned… more is coming 😉
