Wicca’s Originals @ Hallow Manor // October 16th – November 1st

The Lamia collar by Wicca’s Originals is another unnerving creation, perfect for a monstrous horror styling in the upcoming season of spooks. Named after the woman of Greek mythology, who was cursed with eternal sleeplessness for sleeping with Zeus and having had her own children slain, Lamia went completely mad and rapidly devolved into a child-eating monster. The legend of the Lamia became a kind of ‘bogeyman’, a story to frighten the young. Now you can share a piece of that curse, if you dare. This collar appears to bolt onto the upper torso, completely replacing the neck all the way to the skull, or you can leave the head absent entirely for a truly disturbing look. Strange, otherworldly ‘teeth’ emerge from many points on the collar, as if hungry for the flesh of any who are unfortunate enough to get close enough to be bitten and pulled in, although these can be turned off. It leaves one wondering what terror, exactly, the collar is covering up. The optional barbed wire tells a story of its own, of some brave soul who tried to strangle or contain the creature within, although that story does not end well. The Lamia Collar comes in clean or bloodied variations, spikes and barbed wire optional, and 10 color patterns for the collar itself are available via a HUD. It can be worn with the Maitreya, Legacy, Belleza, Slink Hourglass & Physique bodies.

RL sometimes really sucks… especially if it eats up more time as planned and it is not on your own to control it. I recently had a change in my RL job and the new association I am working for doesn’t seem like it is as promised when I had my interview there. I am sure many of you know that if you have your interview, everything sounds nice, all questions you had are answered positive, kinda like to good to be true and when you signed your contract, some things surprisingly change… I am sure I will work it out, but at the moment it just pulls on my nerves, it is time consuming and annoying.

It does hold me back from talking as much pictures as I planned and it does throw me back in my planned posts as well. But I will do my best to at least let all my dark visions for Halloween come true in time 😉

Today I do have some news from the mega cool Samhain event. It is a fantastic event, awesome venue and amazing designers do take part. My pictures today do showcase the incredible cool head piece from “CerberusXing”, the heavy arm chains from “Static”, the cool decor set from “Disorderly” and the amazing bra of the lingerie set from “The Rotting Lab”.

The uber-awesome face tattoo is a main store new release by “Eclipse Art Studio”, while you can find the amazing arms tattoo at the “Vegas Tattoos” main store.

Could you lend me an eye, please?

Today I have some perfect new for the actual season from Madame Noir combined with Hotdog and CerberberusXing. In the dark fantasy mood you can’t live without those brands – ok I never can live without them, but in these days they are even more desired by so many *winks*

So lets take a closer look… The incredible glasses with the long antennae or tentacles and the cool chains the connect both sides are a total must have for all those who love the scary things. To make it even more creepy,I added those cool eyeballs with the inbuilt arm/hand animation. They reminded me of a movie that  love a lot called Pan’s Labyrinth – I know the creature there had the eyeballs in the palms of the hand. To hold them properly and in style,  I felt I need some sharp claws certainly from CerberusXing. Since I am a tattoo addicted, I could not skip that awesome tattoo from Vegas which you can find at their main store.

As many of you know I love to play with opposites… and when I saw the new lipstick from CAZIMI, that originally was made to be sweet, sugarcoated lips, I could not resist to merge them into my look :p

The closer Halloween comes, the more stores release items for this special season… the more I lapse into that mood *grins wickedly*. For me that could go on through the whole year!

The Artio Gloves by Wicca’s Originals are high macabre fashion. The fingers of the gloves themselves are tipped with long, curled nails, which may just as well be a part of the wearer, tearing through the material and telling all around that the creature they see is something not-quite-human. Creatures of the night, however, still care about style. Covering from fingertip to upper arm, the glove material is patterned in an unsettling way, hinting at dark veins or scaled, peeling flesh underneath, and yet still would be perfectly at come complementing a torn ballroom gown, or perhaps one’s funeral dress. Gloves and claws come in 10 colors each, which can be mixed and matched separately, and fit the Maitreya, Legacy, and Hourglass bodies.

Just in time for the Halloween season, the Jethro Gloves by Wicca’s Originals are here to deliver an unsettling but fashionable style of glove. These gloves cover most of the way up the arm, helping cover up any blood stains that might catch on one’s bare arms. They show signs of tearing, the outer fabric peeled away in strips to reveal the patterend material underneath. Whether these tears were self-inflicted by an unstable mind, or whether the tears were caused by the frantic struggle of a victim, there is no telling. The gloves provide each fingertip with a long, curved claw, showing the more feral side of the wearer, promising sweet pain and tormented flesh to those who get too close. Today I have a picture for you, which I created for my exhibition at the L’autre Oeil Gallery. They asked me to create 3 pictures for a special exhibition called “Halloween & Goth”. When I saw the Incredible “Plague Skeleton Creature” mask and hands from DRD, released at The Warehouse Sale, it was a must to use them for the picture idea that I had! The hands even come with a BoM layer to make a smooth seam between the hands and arms. While I was styling, I realized that CerberusXing just released new horns at Necrosis another cool event for this season you should not miss out!

The cool tattoo, which perfectly matched the look, I found at Nefekalum Tattoos and the awesome, filigree outfit was made by ERSCH.

This time of the year is like my personal Christmas season. I do love all the dark, mystic and scary things – I know… no news so far – and I can promise, that I already have a few more ideas in mind in that kind of style, for my next few blog posts 😉

I wanted to post this way earlier as it does mostly feature designs from the ACCESS Cyberfair, but as I already write about… with looking for a new job my RL is completely upside down and takes more attention that usual. I do hate it  – I am usually a person that likes to have at least something stable in my life where I can fill all the other gaps with my own schedule and activities. At the moment I do not even know what the next day will bring as I try to find a new job and run from one appointment to another – it does pay off I have to admit but it is exhausting and time consuming. But I do not want to complain about – that is life. I am just trying to explain why my posts are sometimes a little behind.  I hope you will find all the amazing items in the designers main stores by now 😉

Nevertheless I want to put your attention on some of the amazing creations I am wearing in my pictures today. Since we have the closeup right above, Please take a closer look at that fantastic neon eyebrows and eye-covers. They are made by Madame Noir and they come with a color HUD, which allows you to customize this fantastic design to all of your cyber styling! What as well we can see are parts of the incredible vest and top from A&Y. The “Raizer” top and vest as well were released at the Cyberfair and like all oof the amazing designs of A&Y they perfectly fit together and as well do have a huge HUD to color ever little face of that incredible cyber creations.

Since I slaughtered the backdrop on my first picture with PS so much, I just left it untouched in the other 2 pictures, so you can get an idea what that incredible backdrop actually looks like 😉

I hope that I can post more regularly soon – I really miss my “free time” which I usually take, to make pictures and relax from busy, stressy days.

The iconography of the divine power of femininity continues in these Ashera Heels, completing the set from Wicca’s Originals. In ancient Semitic religion, Ashera is queen-consort of the sky god Anu, also known as the “mother of all living”, “lady of the sea”, and “the lioness”. These heels are comprised of three of the feminine ‘V’ symbol, with optional colored material inserts, woven into the delicate chains which start on the lower shin and travel down atop the top of the foot, and a tall stiletto heel in the back lifts the foot and emphasizes the shapeliness of the leg. The toes are left open and bare, allowing any nail paint to be on full display as well. As with the Nyana Legchains and the Valorie Bodychains, the Ashera Heels come in 10 colors for the chains and heels, as well as the ‘V’ inserts themselves, and are rigged to the Maitreya, Legacy, Slink, and Freya feet.
