GizzA teams up with Glamisty for Peony!

Gizza & Glamistry 6

A collaboration between designers is always exciting to me, as it brings out new and different sides of each of them or even pairs their best skills and abilities.

The last fact happened in my view on the latest collaboration ofΒ  GizzA & Glamisty.

Both designers have amazing skills when it comes to designing and texturing. The “Peony” outfit and heels show how incredible amazing such a collaboration can be. The outfit – made by GizzA – itself comes in several colors. Originally there is one color for top and pants but I decided to mix 2 of them together since I anyways have a weakness for black and red combinations πŸ˜‰

Gizza & Glamistry 4

The top is a very summer looking top with a great leather texture. I the front you have high closed tight shape, which closes together right at the neck.Β  That leaves a very sexy back with much skin and only covered by 3 lines, that close around the front again, which hold the top in place πŸ˜‰

The pants do have an amazing, aerial floating back piece to them. The sheer part is perfectly rigged to the legs and will follow your legs with every step. The “Peony” pants are 3/4 pants (or sometimes called capri pants) and let enough room for the amazing “Peony” heels from Glamistry.

Gizza & Glamistry 1

Glamistry is one of the most popular shoe designers these days. And if you take a look at their designs you will know why πŸ˜‰

I rarely saw shoes, that are so detailed and realistic, as the Glamistry ones. They always release up to date creations and offer an amazing color system for customers. Usually you buy one color but you are able to add more colors on your HUD by just buying another color. That means you do not buy another pair of shoes, you just add another color on your HUD. That is a very inventory friendly system to have a lot of colors for each shoe!

For the “Peony Heels”, Glamistry certainly made the perfect matching colors to the “Peony Outfit” from GizzA. You have the possibility to color several parts of the shoes in a different color. The shoes itself have 2 parts like you can see on the picture above, I colored them black and red. Then you are able as well to choose for metals, heels and sole, to make sure you have the best combination for your look. To me that makes those shoes very versatile and perfect for any kind of styling πŸ™‚

Gizza & Glamistry 2

The incredible tattoo was made by my favourite tattoo designer and friend, Julie Hastings. She made the “Charade” tatoo for the actual round of the Epiphany gacha event.

The cute hairstyle, together with the hat, comes from Ayashi and the amazing bracelet was made by Asteria for one of the past round of the Enchantment event, if I remember correctly.

Since I have an addiction to piercings as well and rarely can use them usually, I could not resist to add the little “Dark Queen Septum” πŸ˜‰

The cool walls you can see behind me, are from E.V.E. Studio. I used several copies and resized them to build a surrounding for my today’s pictures πŸ˜‰

“One last sunbeam before the long cold winter” featuring Prism & EMO-tions

Prism Alouette 02

This time I have something very special. I got it longer ago, but with all the RL crap that was going on lately with things, which really were throwing me out of line for quite some time, it had to wait till now. But it is such an amazing dress that I could not forget about it πŸ˜‰

I am talking about the “Alouette” dress in the ‘sparrow’ version. The long mesh dress catches attention with the exciting and captivating texture. The white sparrow on the orange/salmon background bring so much light and sun back to the cold and grey autumn days, that this dress shines kinda like the last sunbeam before the long and dark winter is coming πŸ˜‰

With the dress as well the golden belt and bracelets come. I just moved up the right bracelet and made it kinda like an armlet, as I like the non symmetric looks.

The hair is one of the newest releases from EMO-tions, called “Arielle”. The long and straight mesh hairstyle leaves the left shoulder free and over the right shoulders, it falls down in the front.

With the “Alouette” dress, the “Arielle” hair and the “Naughty Couture Heels” in white from Dirty Princess, the whole look got a very simple everyday touch. But I wanted something more special for the amazing sparrows πŸ˜‰

So I added the “Overcast” hat made by Lode and the cute “Chatterbox Clutch” from 7891.

Recently I I fell in love with a new skin. [sys] released 2 new skin lines and I totally fell in love with the “Eva” skin. It has amazing details and to the same time it looks so smooth and realistic – just stunning! I promise I soon will have a spotlight blog about my new skin πŸ˜‰

For the makeup I again used one of my long time favourites. Launa Fauna makes super stunning 3D looking lips since I can think of and I rarely found lips I liked more than those and they matched the “Eva” lips so well. For the eye makeup as well I am wearing a Launa Fauna design called “Midnight Glitter Swipe” and I added the “Twotone Makeup” in gold warm-gray over it.

I know the summer is kinda over but with this look, I at least could bring back some of it to my mind πŸ˜‰

Today the weather outside was again sunny and not sa cold as the last days. This inspired me for my todays look.

The beautiful “Anne Marie Dress”, one of the latest releases from GizzA was the perfect base for the look. The ensemble of a wonderful creme toned top and the autumn green skirt is one mesh piece. The small and slim belt as well is part of the mesh piece. The dress is available ni several other colors as well.

The new t-strapped high heels are as well part of the outfit and match wonderful the tone of the top. For the accessories I chose as well to stay with Gizza and put on the “Asia” watch and bracelet. Ezura at the Festival of Sin

These days we have the wonderful Festival of Sin (LM to the Festival of Sin:Β http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Diablo/138/119/72) going on in Second Life. One of Ezura’s contributions is the “The Sins Wrath”. The Festival of Sin happens the first timeΒ  in SL and it is a lovely made place where a lot of SL’s top designers showcase special designs, some of their latest releases and old-time favourites. The place itself is worth a visit.

Ezura came up with a wonderful red gown that is the perfect picture of wrath, one of the 7 deadlies. A wonderful red and seductive gown with a mixture of lace and opaque textures in red. The basic of the gown is made in the new mesh technique, the prims on the sides and at the neck are normal non mesh prims and easy to adjust. The amazing red horns are as well part of the wonderful gown. For the hair I chose a combination of Urban Lutz and Baiastice. Urban Lutz started to create a new hair-line that follows the zodiac signs. For today iI chose the wonderful “Capricorn” style combined with one of my all time favourites from Baiastice.

Future Fashion with Finesmith

Again I was in a funny mood and tried to find a way to show case the new Finesmith “Aphrodite” set. In the end, after trying different looks and styles I got stuck on a future fashion vision. The set contains earrings, necklace, bracelet, ring, lip piercing and the fantastic helmet. Again yula Finesmith created something extravagant. I never saw a jewelry related helmet before in that way. She included this helmet in an awesome way to the whole set. The set is sold in separate different colors but as well a huge fatpack , where the jewelry again has yula’s great color change menu. The menu let you change the metal parts in 2 ways. The petals can be retextured for another color and the spiked as well. Also the gems can be changed in color with the menu. “Aphrodite does not only have simple metal textures that you can change in color. Every texture has wonderful ornaments that decorate the basic metal, very filigree and light but they add an extra touch of noblesse. The lip piercing for adds the edgy touch and is a cool accessorie for the whole set. The color driven set and all the single colors you will find at the Finesmith Mainstore πŸ™‚

MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Australia 2012 by Tres Beau & Finesmith

Again we have a wonderful gown by Tres Beau combined with Finesmith jewelry that made it in the Top 12 of Miss Virtual World 2012… even more this combination of the “Miss Rissa” gown of Tres Beau and the “Tribal Glam” set from Finesmith brought Miss Rissa Friller – Miss Australia 2012 – on place 2 of the MVW contest this year. Lets take a look on the gown first. Kimmera Madison again showed her incredible skills of making textures and designing a stunning evening gown for Miss Australia 2012. The basic is made in silver. Silver is not an easy color for clothing in second life, most of the textures look grey and do not have any shine. But not for Tres Beau. The long experiences and the awesome skills of Kimmera Madison make this gown shine in a stunning silver attire. The ornaments look beautiful and give the gown even more highlights as it anyways has. The tight gown makes an awesome silhouette and the big mermaid skirt is a wonderful contrast to the shoulder free top of the gown. The ornaments are brought adorable on the gown so that you can move and pose without stretching this wonderful textures, again something that is not that easy I was told. So, no wonder that Miss Rissa Friller became the 1st runner-up for MVW 2012. The stunning gown is now available for everyone at the Tres Beau Mainstore.

For the jewelry, again we can see how close the designers work together to create this incredible looking styles. Yula Finesmith outdid herself again with catching the style and shape of the wonderful ornaments that Kimmera put on the gown. The swirls she did for the necklace, the bracelet and the ring are breathtaking awesome. Yula as well picked up the colors and made a firework of art with colors and design for this beautiful “Tribal Glam” set.The earrings, 2 little flowers,Β  are so unbelievable filigree and little, what again shows the incredible skills of yula Finesmith. The love for the detail yula and Kimmera both have in an awesome way. The great “Tribal Glam” set is now available at the Finesmith Mainstore.

Kunglers gave the catsuit a new, modern face

Kunglers always stood for high quality and fashion in Secondlife. The new “Emanuelle” catsuit underlines this attributes again.

The tight catsuit accents the well-shaped body of every fashionista. The textures are so wonderful developed and brought on the catsuit. The mixture of different fabrics make this simple catsuit to a little piece of casual art. The basic is amazing made with light and shadows and the jacket shines with the beautiful texture.

The “Emanuelle” catsuit is available in different colors at Kunglers and the closer look even more shows the amazing skills for textures and the love for the details in their designs. The shoulder attachments add the dot of the”i” for me and make the little difference to make it modern and fashionable.

The lovely jewelry I am wearing to that awesome catsuit as well is made by Kunglers and it goes so perfectly well with the “Emanuelle” catsuit. The golden, smooth shape of the “Deorum” set underlines again that simplicity is the way to go to be styled well πŸ™‚ The whole set contains the earrings, necklace, bracelet and ring. The “Deorum” set as well is available in more colors at the Kunglers Mainstore. To see the full range of colors and as well all the other wonderful designs of Kunglers you should make your way to their Mainstore and see for yourself πŸ˜‰

Oceane Body Design – Skins for the Fashionista

Lately Morgane Batista told me about her favourite skin maker…Oceane Grumiaux, owner and designer of Oceane Body Design. Morgane made me so curious that I had to take a look at Oceane’s store. I was not able to look for long before Morgane popped in there as well and made me meet Oceane herself. I have to admit as I was looking around I really was surprised… Such great realistic and detailed skins…lashes,Β  makeups, eyes and eyelashes… why I never was here before?!? Oceane herself is a very kind and nice person and we started taking. In the end she gave me one of her wonderful skins and one of her makeup packages. Please let me introduce “Terry”…

As many know I am a very light skin type usually and so “Terry” in cream was the perfect skintone for me. The body is wonderful and such high quality in every detail – really amazing! Such awesome shadows and lights give the whole skin a very realistic look.

What really got me was that all of her makeups fit perfectly on her skins. often if I was wearing lipstick the original lip color of the skin came through on the boarders or even through the whole lips. For that Oceane made a natural skin variation where you can add all of her makeups and it looks like they are originally on the skin.

On the top of this picture on the right side we have the natural version of “Terry” without any makeup. On the left upper side we have the “Terry Smoke” variation. The 2 on the bottom are the first of in total 10 makeups that come with the “Mistress Mood” makeup package.

The lips are stunning with a very light gloss, but not too much and the eyes are beautiful dark smokey eyes. I never thought that I could enjoy so many different red and pick shades and that each one looks so different on the total look. I definitely will keep Oceane Body Design in my mind now and I am curious about new makeups and skins in the future of Oceane Grumiaux πŸ™‚
