Oceane Body Design – Skins for the Fashionista

Lately Morgane Batista told me about her favourite skin maker…Oceane Grumiaux, owner and designer of Oceane Body Design. Morgane made me so curious that I had to take a look at Oceane’s store. I was not able to look for long before Morgane popped in there as well and made me meet Oceane herself. I have to admit as I was looking around I really was surprised… Such great realistic and detailed skins…lashes,Β  makeups, eyes and eyelashes… why I never was here before?!? Oceane herself is a very kind and nice person and we started taking. In the end she gave me one of her wonderful skins and one of her makeup packages. Please let me introduce “Terry”…

As many know I am a very light skin type usually and so “Terry” in cream was the perfect skintone for me. The body is wonderful and such high quality in every detail – really amazing! Such awesome shadows and lights give the whole skin a very realistic look.

What really got me was that all of her makeups fit perfectly on her skins. often if I was wearing lipstick the original lip color of the skin came through on the boarders or even through the whole lips. For that Oceane made a natural skin variation where you can add all of her makeups and it looks like they are originally on the skin.

On the top of this picture on the right side we have the natural version of “Terry” without any makeup. On the left upper side we have the “Terry Smoke” variation. The 2 on the bottom are the first of in total 10 makeups that come with the “Mistress Mood” makeup package.

The lips are stunning with a very light gloss, but not too much and the eyes are beautiful dark smokey eyes. I never thought that I could enjoy so many different red and pick shades and that each one looks so different on the total look. I definitely will keep Oceane Body Design in my mind now and I am curious about new makeups and skins in the future of Oceane Grumiaux πŸ™‚

First “Mesh” dress at Angel Dessous!!!

Lately i got my first mesh dress from Nando Korobase, designer of Angel Dessous. Thank god I just had down loaded the new mesh viewer *grins*

I have to admit I was a bit unsure and scared as I heard first time of the new mesh feature, that it requires another new viewer and that you cannot edit the clothing anymore… but after I saw how mesh clothing reacts while wearing it… I was totally amazed.

No more texture stretching, no more silly skirt prims between the legs, no more weird prims on ankles, knees and elbows or anywhere else… simply great!

What is true is that you cannot anymore edit the clothing itself so you have to modify your shape to make the clothing fit. Angel Dessous included 3 sizes of dresses with matching shapes that guarantee a perfect fit. I changed my own shape lightly to make one of the sizes fit. The “Katy” dress is available in different colors – for my blog I chose blacksatin, sunflower and orange πŸ™‚

We can be curious what Nando Korobase will create next to let us ladies look awesome πŸ˜‰

Wicca’s Wardrobe: Shopping Finesmith in E-Clipse

After Thetra Blackheart, lovely designer of E – Clipse, gave me some of her newest creations out of her “Noir” series I again went to Finesmith Designs to see whats new after my LOA πŸ™‚

But first lets take a look on the outfit… πŸ™‚

As I was talking to Thetra, the winner of the Claim the Fame contest, she told me that she made a few new designs. As I was so curious I got lucky and she gave me the whole “Noir” outfit. For this look I chose the “Bodice” only. A wonderful waist corset made of leather, zippers and buckles… simply amazing. For the top you can choose, if you wanna have a closed or an open version like you can see on the pic above. The nipple shields and the collar part are as well part of the outfit. For the panties you have a basic clothing layer and a wonderful attachment in the front again with silver zippers on the sides. The sweet face tattoo was made by Xplosion and the shoes come from Lapointe & Beastchild. The hairstylist for this styling was Amutey DeCuir from Bliss Couture.

Now for the jewelry.. πŸ™‚ As I entered the new store on the Blackliquid sim I was blown away… such a great new shop!!! And all the new jewelry. Now the different part came.. what to wear firs,t from all the wonderful new things… really a hard desicion. In the end, the choice fell on the new “Noir” line since I liked the idea to combine the new “Noir” line from Finesmith Designs with the new “Noir” line of E – Clipse πŸ˜‰ – kinda fate for me on that one *grins*. And it goes so well together with the spiked parts of the jewelry and all the zipper and metal parts of the outfit itself πŸ™‚ Yula Finesmith again brought us a new set with lots of little pieces or art and you can be sure that all of them will get the attention they earn in the coming blog posts πŸ™‚

For now I hope you enjoyed my little LOTD πŸ™‚

Stay styled,

Wicca

Finesmith Designs – Inspiration Sets March/April Part I

Finally I made it to snap my wonderful inspiration set of the Finesmith Muse 2011 contest. On the 1st of May, Finesmith Designs had a wonderful show, produced by Kabuki Boutique. The show was called “11 Rooms”. Each room had a special scene.

Each model with it’s own inspiration set had a room that was made especially for that set. Taylor Wassip was acting in a bedroom, Luralie Bailey danced in a club scene, Rissa Friller was in a shopping rage at a Jewelry Store, Aliyeh Yifu, the little mermaidΒ  was swimming in an amazing underwater scenerie, Shena Neox was putting together a wonderful style in a dressing room, Vivienne Coppola showcased her awesome set in a cabaret show, Jamee Sandalwood wandered around the forrest, Sy Whitesong hovered through the downtown at night, myself was captured in a dungeon, Melanie Sauterau (for the show replaced by Serene Faith) strolled through an Art Gallery and Rusalka Callisto was turning her body in front of a camera in a photostudio.

During the show always one room was opened and each model has it’s own song to showcase the jewelry with a short choreography of poses. The audience was sitting in the middle of a black room and one room after another opened and a short story was read in a very interesting way not like the usual scripts of fashion shows. For this blog post I for sure wanted to show you the incredible set yula Finesmith made for me and as well I will try to show you all the wonderful sets one by one :). Luckily, I got the script afterwards so I can give you a short impression what was happening there :). At this point a big thank you to Xenobia Foxclaw who did this awesome script πŸ™‚

As I mentioned… my room was a little dungeon. All in red and black with a cage and candles. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kabukimodels/5679571069/in/photostream) and for sure a text that matched this theme perfectly πŸ˜‰

“Wicca Merlin was not born into the life of slavery. She entered it willingly with her eyes wide open. She adored her master and did his bidding. From cleaning his house to pleasing him in bed…she did it all without a word of complaint.

She knew he particularly liked to find her in this elaborate cage that hung in the dungeon surrounded by candles. She knew she looked especially pretty in candle light, and she loved the way the metals glinted and the candles set them ablaze on the walls. Tonight she wore his favorite set of jewelry – the Finesmith set that had been made to fit her. They felt warm and sensuous, and they fulfilled the promise he made when she signed the contract that made her his slave. Wicca would only enter such a relationship if the reward were her own set of jewelry from Yula. Wicca was quite sure she had the better end of that bargain.”

The second set I would like to show you, was made for Melanie Sauterau. For the show Serene Faith our actual MVW replaced Melanie as she was not able to make to the the show.

“Tonight is the opening of a new gallery exhibit. The pieces have been selected with great care to show the best work of this renowned artist. She is so young to be so accomplished in photography, oils, marble, metal, and gems. Her metal work is undoubtedly what she is best known for. I’m so very honored to be part of this exhibit. I’ve heard people say how very life-like I am. Some have even reached out to touch my skin to assure themselves that I am not a living model, or they watch my breast to see if I breath. I don’t understand how I cannot be living though – I have feelings, I love, I cry, I wonder..
I wonder who this person is who I’m named after – Melony Inspiration. Melony is a beautiful name, she must be beautiful to have inspired a work such as I am and the jewelry that I wear. I wonder if she is living still – perhaps a long lost love or a mother remembered fondly. I wonder what the story behind me is…I wonder.”

The last one for today yula made for Vivienne Coppola. A wild and fresh set that totally is a must have for every fashionista!

”Β Of all of her friends, Vivienne Coppola is the perfect one to appear in a dream cabaret. She has a wonderful collection of vintage flapper clothing. She is also dramatic in her behavior and her movements. She is even known to burst out into song and dance right on the street.
Even her jewelry, from Finesmith Designs, is perfect for her dramatic flair. The pieces seem somehow exuberant just like Vivienne. The band, the music, the dance, the beat of the drum – it all seems so full of life.
Listen, perhaps you can hear her now coming down the hall singing, β€œStroke that shiny coat, stroking is the antidote, stroke that it’s a start, only for the wild at heart” – such a sexy song to sing and dance to. Yes, Vivienne is the perfect one to appear in this cabaret.”

All of the March / April inspiration sets are limited to 50 sets each and you can as well purchse them in single parts! As I said there are 10 new inspiration sets and I will show them to you one after another, so stay tuned for all the other lovely piece of arts created for wonderful models by yula Finesmith, owner and genius goddess of Finesmith Designs!

Wicca’s Wardrobe – Black and colorful?

At LeeZu you will find a new project that features guest designers. For now you will see a few outfits made by Muhi and one of them totally catched my heart πŸ˜‰ The “Asymmetrical Bodysuit”. It comes in 8 different colors and … yes my color is black… again πŸ™‚ The layers are made with an awesome texture that contains so many little details. ToΒ  let it dynamic and asymmetric πŸ˜‰ for the body you have 3 prims added. One collar prim and the down part on the right side of the jacket and same side the neat shoulder part. The left arm is decorated with 2 sleeve prims on eon the upper and one on the forearm. I simply fell in love with *grins*

For the jewelry I did not have long to think about… Finesmith Designs released new ‘summer jewelry’, just perfect and like all of yula Finesmith’s designs just another masterpiece of art in colors and shape!

The whole set contains earrings, collar, bracelets and the super cool ‘glasses’. You are able to buy them single so you can see wich parts you need or want πŸ™‚ As well you have 3 different colors to choose from the one I am wearing is called “Ocean Winds” and the basic colors are a mixture of green, teal gold and silver. The others are one with a basic brown tone called “Desert Winds” and “Summer Powder” comes with a pink/purple mix. For this I had to skip the collar as the neckpart of the dress would have interfered to show it properly πŸ˜‰ To keep the lightly wild style I added one fo the amazing hair parts of Miamai and for the shoes I chose the “Thigh High Boots” in black from J’s. The nails are for sure as well from Finesmith Designs πŸ˜‰

PurpleMoon – News and Showreview ;)

Today I have a little combination of a new release and some great outfits that I was allowed to showcase for the amazing PurpleMoon/Finesmith fashion show at BLVD. For first lets take a look on the new “Tango” outfit.

This outfit you can wear in 2 different versions. The first possibility is a sweet wide top that has an amazing huge neck collar.

The pants can be worn with or without the leg sleeves. The pants are made ofΒ  a dark grey / black texture that let imagine a light rough-looking fabric and the white line adds a wonderful elegant touch. The neat hat also is part of the outfit!

For the second version you can wear we also see that there is nother color available for the “Tango” outfit πŸ˜‰ Here I just took off the wide top prim and the leg sleeves. The hat I changed to one of the new fantastic hair attachments, named “Era” that come with the perfect matching hairbases! So stay tuned for the new releases that will happen πŸ˜‰

Last weekend the BLVD Agency had an amazing show showing off amazing creationd from PurpleMoon and Finesmith. It was an awesome combination of dreamy outfits and perfectly matching elegant and stylish looking jewelry.

My first outfit was a stunning dark blue gown named “Sue”. This great evening gown is the perfect outfit for an elegant night out. The amazing skirt falls down to the ground and moves behind you with every step. The aerial ruffles that decorate the chest make beautiful filigree looking touch. The neat little blue flowers are amazingly detailed and light the dark blue perfect. Another great highlight we have with the head part. A huge headpart that repeats the roses of the dress and has a little train in the back. Perfect for every fashionista who likes to turn heads!

As it was made for, the “Tension” set from Finesmith looks as a perfect addition to this stunning gown. The half round earrings that become smaller to the end like a half-moon decorate your ears. The same theme you have for the bracelet where 2 of that ‘half moons’ surround your wrist. FOr the perfect finish I added the “Metallic Silver” nails from PurpleMoon.

Another great outfit I was wearing for the show was the “Zasha” dress in bronze. A very tight dress that accents a well-shaped fashionistas body πŸ˜‰ The horizontal stripes of the main texture adds a modern look to the whole dress. The top is shoulder free and makes great room for a huge edgy necklace like the “Kitsch Couture” necklace from Finesmith. The black gloves and the mermaid looking skirt prim in black make a nice frame where the texture of the dress is fantastic highlighted.

The incredible “Kitsch Couture” necklace and bracelet, made by Finesmith are the perfect addition if it comes to the jewelry part for this dress. The 3 different gold colors go perfect with the bronze and black texture of the dress that has neat little ornaments if you take a closer look. Together with the “Sun” face tattoo, made by White Widow and the “Invicta” hairstyle from Miamai the whole outfit was perfect for the runway πŸ™‚

But if you make your way to the PurpleMoon Mainstore you can see way more of Poulet Koenkamp’s creation and you will really have a hard time to think wich one you get first :p

My outfit for the show was the wonderful “Cream Couture” dress. A breathtaking light gown, very avant – garde. The top made as a corsage with an amazing eye-catching prim attachment on the chest. The skirt made of a sculpted prim.

Another eye catcher for sure is the chain mask and also the great horns that accessorize the whole outfit perfect. I was so happy and grateful that I was allowed to showcase this dress in the show… and it will be not the last time that I was wearing it… that I know! πŸ™‚

Also made by House of Fox was the matching jewelry and the shoes.
