Wicca’s Wardrobe @ DUBAI July 2018

Wicca’s Wardrobe @ DUBAI (July 20th – August 10th)

We are thrilled to be a part of the DUBAI event. Special for this event we have created the Maurine Collar. It is a collar rigged to fit Maitreya, Slink & Belleza. The Maurine Collar also happens to match our Maurine bracelets created for the latest round of We โ™ฅ RP! The Maurine Collar comes with a HUD that offers you all the same color and metal choices as our Maurine bracelets. The Maurine Collar comes in two parts so you can wear it with or without the large central gemstone (as featured in both images).

Gemstones – THEMA Magazine – How to be an Obsidian?

THEMA Magazine - Obsidian Wicca Merlin 5

I again had the great pleasure to be one of the contributors for the THEMA Magazine. Taylor Wassep, owner and founder of that amazing magazine, always looks for different artists to make pictures for specific themes.

This time her idea was, to have gemstones as the basic inspiration. We could choose from a list of gemstones and certainly I wanted to have something with black. After i talked to Taylor we came across the Obsidian gem stone. That was exactly what I like and so I started to style something according to my gemstone.

I already had an idea in mind for my set. According to that I needed to find something, that would let me sit and do some crazy poses without breaking the whole outfit.

So I started with the “Couture Leggings” from Maitreya. For the top I found an old corset from E-Clipse called “LaDominante”. That made a great base for some editorial pictures and poses.

To underline the Obsidian character, I wanted to bring in some lighter spots, since the gemstone itself as well has some lighter reflections.

So I took out the helm from the “Bellatrix” outfitย  and as well the chest piece of the “Plaisance Deux” outfit, both from Zibska, and completed my look.

For the set… I wanted to have a jewelry box and the first idea was to make myself the gemstone of a ring in that box… it did not work out that way, so I tried to place myself beside the ring in the ringbox which I liked a lot more ๐Ÿ˜‰

Wicca’s Wardrobe – Thank you Yula :)

Lately Xenobia Foxclaw had a great idea… she asked all the Finesmith models to think about their favourite Finesmith Designs set, snap it, write a few words about and posted them on the Finesmith Designs Blog. It was really hard to decide but in the end this was my contribution to it ๐Ÿ˜‰

“As I was asked to pic my favourite Finesmith jewelry pieces, I did not think not too long and said “Yes sure, gimme a few minutes”…
…but then I was going over and over my Finesmith pieces and found out … it is harder then I thought to find my “favourite”, because if I woudl add all the ones I call my favourites one picture would not be enough ๐Ÿ˜‰
So I was thinking, to wich piece I have the most personal relationship…
It was a huge honor for me to be chosen as one of the Finesmith Muse 2011. All of the finalists got a signature Inspiration set that carries our name. Yula put in so much time, effort and love in each piece she created. She tried to make for each of us a very personal set that mirrors our style and personality. For that she took time for each of us for talking to know us better and find out more about each finalist.
To honor all that she did and because she catched myself so much in the “Wicca” inspiration set I chose to wear it as my personal favourite.
Thank you Yula and the whole Finesmith Family, for a place in Second Life that I really can call home and family :)”

*hugs*
