Mea Culpa – Hot Flamenco Nights? ;)

Latest news from Mea Culpa 🙂 I am happy to be allowed to show you the last 2 creations of Tatanka Kaligawa, designer and owner of Mea Culpa. The first one is called “Baile Flamenco” and it really is what it is called. A wonderful red gown with a long train in the back, awesome ruffle parts and decorated with beautiful flowers.

If you take a closer look you can see how much Tatanka cares about details and the eye for the extravagant styles. The ruffles are wonderful made with shadows and lights and the flowers add an amazing “Flamenco Feeling” 😉 The head decoration as well made of flowers is part of the whole outfit.

The second outfit carries the wonderful name “Night Spell” and it is a very elegant and extravagant gown. Petals and ranks are all over the black beauty. The skirt and the hat are mainly opaque while the top has a wonderful laced part, that I would like to show a little closer.

The delicate lace top shows again the amazing skills of Tatanka Kaligawa if it comes to ideas and texturing 🙂 round the waist additional to the great flexible prims you have kinda golden belt, very filigree and again in shape of many little petals. The wonderful veil adds again some elegance 🙂 As well Mea Culpa released some new shows but this will be one of my next posts 😉

Avantgarde News at [sys]!!!

I was very impressed as I got my first [sys] outfit and tries it on… for sure I saw some of them and I really liked them but having an own one even feels even more great 😉 The “Lydo” dress is a very short and very sexy dress with an extraordinary style that you do not see on every corner 😉 So for me it was the right stuff to find a matching scenery I liked to showcase it in. I wanted to some powerful and strong along with some movement or action… as the light future touch and the trial to combine futuristic style with avantgarde looks.. goes right to my heart.

So, lets take a closer look at the dress… the basic layer is kinda black corset layer that is done amazingly detailed with shadows and lights so that the folds and all the great little buttons! The top has a chest attachment and another attachment you can see for the skirt part. In the back we have a huge ribbon that kinda closes the skirt or even if a nice decorations as well 🙂  Again we see how great the skills of the [sys] sisters are if you take a closer look on the lines that close the corset in the back.. so detailed and plastically. Stockings and gloves are as well part of the whole outfit. The skin I am using for this post as well is from [sys] and it is called “Ysis”. The teal lips and eyes and the wonderful ornaments round the eyes made this skin perfect for the outfit 🙂

To see all the other great futuristic and avantgarde designs of [sys] you should make your way to their Mainstore and take a look by yourself 😉

Neiva Kumasi Couture – “Melodie”

Today I have the great honor to showcase one of the newest designs of NK Couture designed by Misha Flanagan. The brand is relativly new on the grid and definatly something to keep an eye on! For todayI am allwowed to show you the “Melodie” dress.

“Melodie” is a wonderful casual dress with amazing details I want you to take a closer look on. What really caught my attention is that the whole dress basically is made of the same texture and I never saw this made so interesting before! As well Misha included 2 different versions for the layer of shirt skirt as you can see on the olive version above. Once the lighter part ends with the belt and the other version goes down below the belt, the same option you have for the rust version as well 🙂

All the sweet and neat ruffles and attachments give the whole dress a very real look. The arm parts are decorated with wrist and shoulder prims and the cleavage is framed by anawesome ruffle as well. The bottom part of the skirt is made dreamy flexible. What took my eye as well is the cute ruffle attachment that surrounds the hips. Not usual and a very beautiful and nice idea! The black belt as well is part of the outfit and breaks the basic color in an amazing way. Ich you take a closer look at the buckle you again can see the eye for little lovlely details that Misha Flanagan has. With the olive version she made it as well in the next round of the Claim the Fame contest 🙂 WTG and congratz Misha!
