LOTD 10/01/2016 – Try to build? Or just pushing prims? Maybe both?

sysevestudio-1

Playing with self-built sets becomes more and more fun :p

I never thought, that I can do that. I see so many amazing builds and sets from other bloggers and I adore them for doing that. When I try that especially with furniture and houses, I always have the feeling I am doing something wrong – I have no clue why but it never looks like I want it :p

That is why I mostly used inworld locations for that kind of pictures. But sometimes, if you are not allowed to rezz, sometimes you come across the issue, that you can’t place your avatar as properly as you would like.

sysevestudio-4

Building your own set means, you can do what ever you want and place yourself as you like. As I said before, I leave the natural settings of wonderful landscapes and realistic environments to those who can do way better than I am :p , but I lately found my challenge in some editorial, artistic looking sets. a great help with those are for example stores like 22769, E.V.E Studio, DRD, Newchurch, striped mocha and Nomad, to just name a few of my favorite ones πŸ˜‰

E.V.E Studio I do like for their very artistic creations. I love the way Noke sees her art in a very colorful and futuristic world. Her imagination seems to have no reigns and I really do love that as it inspires me a lot.

The “Cyber Flower Pins Lights” were one of theΒ  releases of E.V.E Studio and when I unpacked them, I immediately wanted to do something with them, even if I did not know yet what or how…

The “Cyber Flower Pins Lights” come in 4 different versions – one with and one without fireflies on them. With 8 different colors the structures are perfectly to create a set or use them for deco. To get the full beauty of the flower pins I suggest you turn the advanced lightning on. The flower pins are mod and you can resize them or even play with the lights, something i highly appreciate as you have control over the brightness and sizes and can customize it to your picture idea.

sysevestudio-2

The look for this picture, was not easy in the beginning. I experimented with some cyber futuristic things first but for what ever reason it looked always wrong. Then I tried with something romantic/mystic but again it felt wrong. I kept the flowers up and gave up on the look for a few days, as I experienced if you try to force something together it never will look ‘right’ and taking pictures is just no fun.

Another day I came across the “Trianon” dress, which was released for Collabor88 before. I totally loved the asymmetric look of the dress with the one side jacket. With the longer part on the jacket side we have some amazing ruffles and an amazing detailed shoulder part, while we have a very clean look on the other half with kind of tight body suit. I added the “Occult Sleeves” from a jacket I found at ISON, as I felt something was missing for the look I wanted to have.

sysevestudio-3

The cool hair was made by [sys] as well and is called “Shinzo” with the option to color some wisps they were perfect to the “Trianon” dress colorwise and the sweet rose added a romantic touch to it. The collar as well is part of the “Trianon” dress. With all the pink in the outfit I decided to put some pink on the set as well and used the “Dancing Petals” in pink as well from E.V.E Studio.

Again I has great fun pushing prims and working on my own set, even if doing inworld shots on wonderful sims and locations is fun too and will happen again soon I am sure πŸ˜‰

Fame with Roses & Chains

sys-roses-chains-1

I have no clue how I came on the idea for this pictures… but it was fun :p

I know I saw that roses at Skye’s place when we did a shooting and remembered I got those too. When I saw them again, I so wanted to do something with them and when I unpacked a few boxes I found the perfect dress and all of a sudden everything fell together πŸ˜‰

But lets start from the beginning…

This time it was not an outfit that started the whole idea, it really was a set I was playing around with. I started with the “DYSTOPIA Chained Roses” from E.V.E Studio. I found so many parts in the folders… different roses with chains, standalone petals and as well several colors… I decided to go with the bronze ones as I loved the red touch paired with either a golden or a black chain. While I was playing around with arranging the roses I came across the “Splashing Droplets” in gold, which just matched the “Chained Roses” perfectly.

sys-roses-chains-2

Β When I unpacked the “FAME” dress from [sys]which you can find at the actual round of The Liaison Collaborative and saw the chains at the high cut on the left side… I did know that was the right dress for that picture πŸ˜‰

The dress is a very simple one BUT with great asymmetric details. The left arm is covered by a long sleeve while the right arm is totally bare. The left side has a high slit which is decorated with many rows of chains.

Another great detail I would love to focus as well. The amazing rings and hand bands from Formanails. Formanails does the most incredible hand jewelry and nails I ever saw. Most of the designs are made for either Maitreya or Slink Casual or Slink Formal hands.

Overall the whole scenery with the looks and the set looked weird and cool the same time to me so I just had fun to take some pics and see what comes out πŸ˜‰ It was a new feeling to me, to style according to a set instead of the other way round *giggles*. It was a great experience and as well some kind of a new challenge for me, maybe I should do that more often πŸ˜‰

In a certain mood… playing with poses

White Room 4

Sometimes I really do like just roaming through my poses to see, if I can find any inspiration or develop some ideas based on poses.

This time I just put on one of my favourite fantasy skins lately, the “Amalthea” skin from La Petite Morte. I rarely saw such a light skin that still had all those wonderful details and it is still not white, it has a very dreamy tone.it comes in different versions, which follow an inspiration of the “Last Unicorn” One of them even has the darker star on the forehead where the unicorn of the enchanted Princess Amalthea is supposed to be, like we saw it in the movie πŸ™‚

White Room 3

The cool tattoo comes from TAOX Tattoos. I found it at the J&A Expo this year and with the amazing details and the huge size all over the body, I have to admit it pulled my view on that brand as i never heard about it before. As a tattoo addicted, you never can have enough places for good tattoos πŸ˜‰

TAOX provides appliers for nearly all popular mesh bodies and as well an Omega applier. The pack does not include any default avatar layer so you only can wear it with one of the mesh bodies.

The amazing horn on my forehead, was made by AiShA for the last round of the Enchantment event. For the hair I wanted something wild but still innocent and so my decision fell on the “Pocahontas” hairstyle from LeLutka. With the lightly windblown touch it looked perfect to the innocent vulnerable look of an enchanted unicorn πŸ˜‰

White Room 1

But now back to ‘random posing’ πŸ˜‰

Sometimes I really do like to go through my poses and just make it a challenge to shoot every pose I opened with the outfit I am wearing

That sometimes means to change the angle, if some parts would look awkward.Β  As well you can turn and rotate the pose stand to get an interesting angle. At times I get a weird feeling or view, but I still snap it, because sometimes later, when I work on it, it becomes more interesting as I thought on the first view πŸ˜‰ Shadows can do a big part as well to hide minor issues or errors. If nothing help, you always have the possibility to crop your picture. That as well sometimes gives a neat new view as originally thought. Sometimes you maybe just safe a shot with cropping it and other times the crop looks way more expressive and interesting.

Certainly it is easier, when you wear something that sticks close to the body. Some gowns or dresses can make a challenge like this nearly impossible. The “Siren ” ensemble from Pixicat was perfect for that purpose.

Mea Culpa – Hot Flamenco Nights? ;)

Latest news from Mea Culpa πŸ™‚ I am happy to be allowed to show you the last 2 creations of Tatanka Kaligawa, designer and owner of Mea Culpa. The first one is called “Baile Flamenco” and it really is what it is called. A wonderful red gown with a long train in the back, awesome ruffle parts and decorated with beautiful flowers.

If you take a closer look you can see how much Tatanka cares about details and the eye for the extravagant styles. The ruffles are wonderful made with shadows and lights and the flowers add an amazing “Flamenco Feeling” πŸ˜‰ The head decoration as well made of flowers is part of the whole outfit.

The second outfit carries the wonderful name “Night Spell” and it is a very elegant and extravagant gown. Petals and ranks are all over the black beauty. The skirt and the hat are mainly opaque while the top has a wonderful laced part, that I would like to show a little closer.

The delicate lace top shows again the amazing skills of Tatanka Kaligawa if it comes to ideas and texturing πŸ™‚ round the waist additional to the great flexible prims you have kinda golden belt, very filigree and again in shape of many little petals. The wonderful veil adds again some elegance πŸ™‚ As well Mea Culpa released some new shows but this will be one of my next posts πŸ˜‰

DoJo and Body Talking for the Pacific Crisis Fundraiser Project!

Again I found 2 amazing designers that help with their amazing creations for the Pacific Crisis Fundraiser (http://slurl.com/secondlife/World%20of%20Beauty/205/147/1003): DoJo, paper couture made by Sanders Beaumont and Body Talking with the great poses from Arisia Ashmoot!

Lets start with the amazing “Hanami” outfit. In the colors black, red and white this neat dress is a wonderful contribution to such a great charity event! A mixture of girlie look of the dress and as well a little urban look with the leggings that made me fall in love with.

The dress has a basic white texture with amazing and modern black ornaments. The red accents of the seams and as well the wonderful big ribbon in the back, that gives for me a wonderful transition to the asian look. Like the big ribbons in the back of the kimonos πŸ™‚ The black leggings have a few transparent parts and the whole pants are a firework of a texture… I really fell in love with! At the ankles you can see 2 little prims that lead to the amazing shoes, that as well are part of the outfit.

Wonderful red, grey and black peeptoes ankle boots… simply amazing and you are not in trouble to find matching shoes πŸ˜‰ The toes are amazing realistic and the textures of the shoes it self fit perfect to the rest of the outfit. Also part of the “Hanami” outfit are the sweet sticks that you can see at the back of the head in black and red. Over all a must have for each fashionistas wardrobe and for a very good cause as well!!! So do not think about too long this 250L$ are more than worth it and you can help with!!!

I am very happy that I can show you as well, that Body Talking as well joined the helping hands! Arisia Ashmoot a wonderful person with a big heart (yes sissy, that I had to say πŸ˜‰ contributed an amazing group pose to the Pacific Crisis Fundraiser (http://slurl.com/secondlife/World%20of%20Beauty/205/147/1003) project…

(Picture provided by Body Talking)

“Girls Only” the perfect pose for some friends that wanna show that they have fun πŸ˜‰ So girls who wanna have fun go and get the “Girls Only” pose of body talking and help as well with the purchase of this amazing pose that Arisia Ashmoot created. No bad body angles, now weird stretching of parts of the body and no limbs that look like broken. This pose again shows the high standard that Body Talking has for their poses. To get it just make your way to the Pacific Crisis Fundraiser Donation (http://slurl.com/secondlife/World%20of%20Beauty/205/147/1003) sim and search for a pose stand high up in the air close to one of the corners πŸ˜‰

Spring arrived at LeeZu :)

Yes!!!! It is spring finally!!! And we can put away the long and thick clothing πŸ˜‰ LeeZu came up with an amazing spring outfit, a jacket in 2 versions andΒ  wonderful hotpants, all in different colors.

For the blue and flower power version I chose the LeeZu “Arabesque” blouse and the LeeZu “Glitter Hotpants”. For a less playful and more sexy look, what I tried in the second picture. I used the “Araplain” blouse in black and again the “GlitterΒ  Hotpants” this time in bronce. The “Arabesque” blouse really points with the big and colorful flowers and gives the whole look a very playful and neat touch. That was why I could not resist to add the new “Cross my flower and hope to die” jewelry set of Finesmith Designs. For the shoes the perfect idea for me were the LeLutka “Pow Powder” pumps in pink. For the black version as well the jewelry comes from Finesmith Designs and for the boots I took the “ThighHigh Boots” from J’s in black. To make both looks complete I am wearing hair from Vanity Hair.

But this are way not the only new releases that LeeZu had lately and I would like to recommend that you just jump over to the LeeZu Mainstore and take a look by your self πŸ˜‰

Cross my flower and hope to die – Finesmith released a nother stunning jewelry set!

Lately I had a great honor… yula asked me to take a picture of myself with one of her newest jewelry sets!!! “Cross my fingers and hope to die”. It was such a pleasure and I was so excited… and then I saw the final advertise as she released the set a few days ago.

Even if it was pink and with flowers… yes I know I am not the typical girlie… I liked this creation a lot! I love the non usual ideas like the sweet jewelry flower in the mouth and as well how the theme of the flower was repeated in every part of that set. If you take a look at the earrings, they are not made symmetrical for left and right… no, both pointing inΒ  another direction πŸ™‚ The great necklace again carries the filigree lines that make the petal of the flower part. For sure you can color the whole jewelry and the gems like you know it from the Finesmith Designs jewelry already, with the awesome menu that you have contained in each part of the “Cross my fingers and hope to die” set. You can color the metal parts as well as the gem parts. and the gemstones itself have awesome presets like always for different types of gems as well.

If you wanna complete the look of the “Cross my fingers and hope to die” set with matching fingernails I can suggest the “Rave Pink” nails also made by Finesmith Designs

For me they matched perfect to the new “Cross my fingers and hope to die” jewelry set πŸ˜‰ So, make your way to the Finsmith Designs Mainstore and see all of the great new creations that yula Finesmith lately designed… I sweat it is worth it πŸ˜‰ Thanks again yula for the great opportunity to be on the ad for this amazing set πŸ™‚

New line at LeeZu!

LeeZu came up with a very sexy and stunning clothing line called “BDSM”. For now it contains 7 fantastic outfits, each one in black and red, the typical colors for this lifestyle. πŸ˜‰ But I think not only BDSM related or interested people can wear this designs as the outfits are really sexy and stunning and as well very fashionable πŸ™‚ But let me show you at least 3 of them for today πŸ™‚

The first one is called “Missheep” I already combined the red and the black version in here as I really liked it πŸ™‚ Usually you have he outfit in full red of black to buy… but as you can see.. it iw worth getting both for this lovely combination πŸ˜‰ The outfit itself is made very clear and LeeZu again shows off her awesome skills if it come to texturing and designing. The top and bottom part lays dreamy tight on the body and accents the wonderful shape of every lady. The amazing idea with the holes that give a lovely sexy touch is perfectly combined with a closed bottom part and the very stunning opaque stockings and gloves. A neat little detail I really loved are the garters that hold the stockings. The spot where the garter meets the stockings again shows off the eye for the detail of LeeZu creations as it looks wonderful realistic. A totally highlight and as well a very fashionable accessory is the cute hat with the flexible cord.

Up next we have “Sablier” here only shown in black but also available in tempting red πŸ˜‰ It is kinda my favourite outfit even if I have to admit I really like them all πŸ™‚ but this one for a reason caught my heart. I love corsets in general… not only in SL πŸ˜‰ and this design has this great and very detailed corset as a center of the whole outfit. The different textures combined with the amazing front and the little metal parts that close the corset… simply amazing and so realistic that I was nearly tempted to put my finger on the screen and let it run down that amazing fabrics *grins The great idea with the waist part for insiders may look like the stylistic idea of an “O” dress and I really like the idea to cover the private parts like this even if a panty can be worn under it as well.Β  The great fishnet stockings I kinda hided with that long boots a bit, but I liked them so much to this outfit that I could not resist, so make sure you make your way to the LeeZu Mainstore to see how amazing they look πŸ˜‰ Unbelievable but true the great arm ropes and the fantastic collar are as well part of that wonderful outfit!

Last but not least for today I would like to showcase the “Liquid Latex” a very and non usual outfit that perfectly can go as part of a fashion magazine as well πŸ˜‰ The clothing layers are very daring and show a lot of skin what adds a damn sexy touch. As you have no “usual” cuts and holes it is very interesting to look where the clothing layers cover skin and where not. As a great addition you have this long spike looking parts and the amazing necklace that looks made of black pearls. As well you have this amazing roses that decorate the left legs outside… over all this is an outfit you will have to look more than once to discover all the great details! And if you like red more… just make your way to the LeeZu Mainstore ;). I hope I could wake your curiosity about the new LeeZu line and you find the perfect outfit for you.. or even to surprise your love πŸ˜‰
