Captivating…
Sometimes it is just a Discord call and you got a new sponsor for your blogging *giggles* It wasn’t planned in any way… it just happened. I did follow the releases or Rubedo for quite a while, since my friend Chey told me she got a custom make up for one of her contests made by Foxy Ruby, owner and designer behind Rubedo. Today when we talked I teased her with the question if she thinks, that I would qualify for being a Rubedo blogger when we again talked about the brand again – 5 minutes later I was a Rubedo blogger *giggles* I am always a bit nervous when it comes to makeup, as I do not have too many good experiences with blogging makeup, since I am not the typical beauty, closeup, clean blogger. But Chey is the blogger manager and she knows my work so… lets give it a try!
I do like creative, unusual makeups and eyeshadows, they do give a face character and you can do so much with a certain color and style. When I tried the “Titania” eyeshadow,I instantly had the vision of one of those popular tattoo models in RL. I do not remember her name, but she does wear colorful and bold makeup when she does TV shows, events and interviews. I do like the dark casual, urban, Goth looks a lot anyway and so it wasn’t too hard to come up with a matching look 😉
To match the “Titania” eyeshadow from Rubedo, I used one of the lipsticks I recently got at Top1Salon. So the green was set already, as I liked that combo of black and green (certainly the eyeshadow comes in 13 more colors so you can find the one you need for your look) and I came across my usual problem – one shade of green now I need to find fingernails with the perfect matching shade of green – that can end up in a headache! But not of you have the awesome “My Nails” from L’Emporio! You can hide the text in the nails and with their amazing HUD you can have preset colors PLUS you can edit them with a colorfield.
Vegas now does tattoos that work with the LeLUTKA EvoX heads. At Uber they do have one of their newest releases called “Siren” and it perfectly matched the look which I was going for. The incredible amazing necklace was made by AsteroidBox while the cool rings are from Eclipse Art Studio. Now who made that super cool glasses? Certainly CerberusXing! Those glasses are available in gold and silver and you get a HUD to texture the lenses in 8 different colors and as well each of them separately.
I am super excited what else the Rubedo makeup will challenge me to develop – I am looking forward to it 😉

“Sometimes I’m feeling like an Alien…” true words, which apply to my SL as well as to my RL!
It is amazing how SL and RL can be different sometimes and so alike on the other hand. I always was more of an outsider, as I never was able to walk with the mainstream… not SL and nor RL either. I always had my own thoughts and they never fit into a “normal” frame of view it seems. I always avoided the “either black or white” decisions and tried to find my own way through many moments and situations.
Maybe it is the little rebel inside of me that always questions, if there is only black and white and why I would have to decide. What if the truth is somewhere between black and white… what about all those shades of gray – there are so many!
Plus I always had a problem with the phrase “it is, what it is” or “because we always did it like that” – I mean if I did it myself and then come to the conclusion it is – fine! But what, if I do it and come to a different opinion? I would have missed that if I just went with what I was told. There were situations, which were not nice and maybe I should have skipped them by just believing what I was told, but on the other hand I would have not experienced other wonderful things either. I have no clue if I make any sense but I do prefer to make my own experiences and go my own ways even of they might need more time or be a little more gravelly.
So much for that and now lets take a closer look on todays pictures. I visited the CyberPunk Fair from Flair for Events again and found some more neat goodies 😉
I am a cyberpunk addicted, that isn’t a secret anymore and so events like the CyberPunk Fair are like heaven for me. As you can see in the credits below, I picked up quite some new designs there like for example that wonderful mask made by PSYCHO:Byts. The mask comes with a HUD that holds amazing possibilities for the front textures a well as for many different color options – definitely a must have for me! The cool bodysuit as well you will find at the event, made by AURORA. You can change the lights and textures via a HUD too and so it will match to all kind of styles and colors. What caught my attention was the cool neck/head tattoo from Tristan Flinders, which comes with the option of materials as well.
Certainly I had to pair all the new goodies with some of my all time favorites like the cool body tattoo from Nefekalum Tattoos, which as well comes with amazing materials and in many different colors.
And in the end I fell totally in love with that little “Alien Monkey” from Black Cat Creations. You will find that on the CyberPunk Fair, but as well at the main store. This little, awesome pet comes in different colors (HUD), if you decide for the fatpack and has a wonderful pose for each of them including a mirrored version – so 5 poses plus their mirrors… 10 in total!
I still have the feeling that wasn’t my last post for the CyberPunk Fair as I already spied “a few” more things that caught my attention *giggles*

Yay, Cyber/Punk by Flair for Events again opened its doors. It always feels like Christmas if a Cyberpunk themed event opens its gates with all the amazing goodies you can find there! Most likely it won’t be the only post about that awesome event, but I do have to start somewhere *giggles*
The cool pants and boots are a fabulous combo from AsteroidBox for this event. They come together in one pack and even for the single colors you have 16 colors/patterns to choose from. Each color already includes a huge HUD with many details to customize boots, knee pads, belts, leg strap, plus the neon details. For the fatpack you even can mix and match the styling of the leg sleeves individually and you can decide if you want to wear the pants, boots or hip circles all together or just parts of it. For today’s post i just skipped the neon circles at the hips, but I am sure they will come up in one of my next posts *winks* The “Nella Pants & Boots” are rigged for Maitreya Lara, Belleza Freya, Legacy Female.
Another awesome release are the huge but (yes I found out while I was shooting) gentle giants. They are part of an awesome posing set from Black Cats Creations, which you as well will find at the Cyber/Punk event. You can choose between 5 amazing detailed giants with poses for each of them and you even can recolor the monster if you go for the fatpack.
There are so many exciting releases and designs available at the Cyber/Punk event, you should bring time and a huge wallet to not miss out any of them *winks*

The Lita Bindi is a bit of jewelry by Wicca’s Originals to adorn your sixth chakra, the ajna. People are born with two eyes to let them see externally, but all persons also possess a third, inner eye, which casts its gaze inward, towards ‘God’. Whether, for you, this divinity is a singular entity or many, or is simply the pursuit of the divine within one’s spirit, this bindi was carefully crafted to place its slight weight and help focus your energy inwards. The inclusion of gems, as those embedded in the optional side chains and in the trio of delicate chains above the cross, bring their own kind of energy to help channel the wearer’s. The Lita Bindi can be worn with or without the chain across the brows, and the stone can be swapped between 10 different types, to affect different changes in your chakra energy. May it bring you peace.

One pair of tall boots, nicknamed 'Lagoa' Boots'. Designer: Wicca's
Originals.
At first glance, subject appears to be another tall pair
of boots, rising to the mid-thigh. A set of studs line the front of
the two-tone, subtly patterned material, providing security for the
lacing which criss-crosses over the leg, binding the boot securely
and snugly to shapely legs. A tall heel works in conjunction with a
high pitched arch of the boot's outersole to lift the wearer's foot
to a pleasant height, tightening the leg muscles and buttocks in
order to support the pose.
However, those trained in the esoteric and
the strange may recognize that there is more to these boots than
style alone. The inclusion of three crosses wrapped around the front
of the platform seem to promise either protection against or command
over demons and spirits. With the inclusion of the inverted pentacle
on the back of the heel, the latter seems more likely. These are the
boots of one who dabbles in dark arts, who makes deals and consorts
with devils. As a last resort, this particular set of footwear arms
the wearer with a very sharp, tapered heel spike, which is capable of
being changed out with different metals. It is well documented that
some extraplanar beings are susceptible to different sorts of things,
silvers, irons, some even respond to gold or brass, so this seems a
very deliberate choice. Recommended next steps for this investigation
are to track down those who have acquired a set of Lagoa Boots and
observe them, covertly if possible, in order to see what connections
they may have to the other world. This pair of Lagoa Boots will be
kept for 24 hours for continued study, after which time they will be
destructed in accordance with protocol. Other pairs may come in up to
10 color options and metal options, for Maitreya, Legacy, Freya, or
Hourglass bodies
