Wicca’s Wardrobe: LOTD 06/06/2012 – Rainbow

Today I would like to show you one of my styling ideas I had for the now finished LeeZu contest. One of the ‘Color me This’ contest themes was called ‘Rainbow’ and you had to mix and match as much colors as possible and still present a good look.

I really wanted to showcase it in a special way. More in an artsy way than I usually do my own pics. I was thinking for a longer time for the right photographer as suddenly an old friend came to my mind. The wonderful GM Nikolaidis, owner and creator of Fluke poses. I admired his graphic work for longer by watching his flickr and from past time shoots he did of me for designers. I had no clue he does clients work as well! After I found that out I ran into his IM asking him if he would do the pictures for me LeeZu rainbow style and he agreed!!!

So all the wonderful pictures of this post are made by GM Nikolaidis ūüôā Now lets take a closer look of the style it self. I tried to combine as much colors by using LeeZu items and outfits only.

To have a base to work from I started with the dress. The “Catch Lily” dress is a longtime favourite of mine and so I began with taking 2 different colors for top and skirt of the “Catch Lily” dress – blue for the skirt and beige for the top. To add some more colors, I took the “Cat Tights”in yellow and put the “Anna” stockings in spring to put them over the tights. For the shoes I decided to go with the “Street Blues Boots” in mixed red and for the hat I used the “Natty Scarf Pin” as well from LeeZu. Just a few items¬† are non LeeZu items and I will credit them in the style card at the end ūüėČ

I would like to thank GM Nikolaidis for his amazing pictures… I never dreamed about such pics ;). To see all the wonderful LeeZu creations you best take a look at the LeeZu Mainstore and if you catch the right time maybe I meet you there while my store shift ūüėČ

Mesh Mania at Yasum – Part I

Lately I was told to TP to a store named Yasum, cause they had amazing Halloween group gifts. As I am always on the run to find some new or special… I was curious and made my way to the Yasum Mainstore. The group gifts really were awesome and not just one.. you really should take a look. But that shall not be the content of todays post of Yasum. As I was roaming through the store, I more and more was excited about the clothing I saw there. High quality textures and wonderful ideas and designs… as I suddenly discovered who made all this great stuff… Azlyn Vaher!!! I know Azlyn for quite some time, from my older SL days and I remember some of her older designs. They never were bad, but what I saw in that new Mainstore really was making me speechless… especially her mesh division. For today I have 2 wonderful creations and I can say it will not be the last ones ūüėČ

“Catsuit Night” is the first outfit I would like showcase. What really got me was, I never saw a fullbody mesh catsuit before. That’s how I imagined mesh, from the time I heard of it. The whole body covered with mesh and so tight that it totally lies on your body. It is so great to see your avatar moving without any edges and angles… The catsuit carries a wonderful squared texture in brown and black as a basic. Belt and top are as well part of the mesh prim. Only a cap and 2 shoulder decorations are additional prims.

The second outfit is called “Autumn Day” and the name is program… A perfect outfit, as well fully mesh made, for the actual season. The jacket has an amazing hood that hangs down at the back of the neck. What caught me most are the awesome textures that are put on the mesh prims so perfectly. The cute shoes are as well part of the outfit. As I said, there are more wonderful mesh news from Yasum, that I will show here on my blog soon. If you are curious already, make your way to the Yasum Mainstore and take a look by yourself… beside the mesh news you will find many ‘regular’ non mesh outfits as well ūüėČ

Nefertiti Kimagawa for “Claim the Fame”: Week 3 – Darkness

For the second week of Claim the Fame the designers had to create a dark attire for male and female and make a description that was read during the TV Show on Metaverse TV. (http://metaversetv.com/blog/2011/04/claim-the-fame-3/)

All designs of the Claim the Fame Shows are available at the KULT District (for surl please click here)

Nefertiti Kimagawa: “Imani is a black widow.¬† Her long black skirt has the symbol of her kind, the red birthmark.¬† The red headpiece spirals around her face to attract the eyes of future mates.¬† Her long spider legs allows for her to have speed and agility as she searches for her next victim… I mean husband…

Daron is the demon samurai that has come to life by as evil spell.¬† He travels in the night, hunting for his next victim so he can slice into pieces and consume their flesh.¬† His long tentacle arms whip violently at his prey as he strikes.¬† Do not be fooled by Daron because he is blind, he has incredible hearing.”

Kalyabreeaa Capelo: “From the Void Wicca leave nothing but emptiness. Not even your attention can escape.¬† dawning the head-dress of lost souls don’t stare too close as one of damned my pull you in.¬† Her cape bears the dead bones of the lost as it flows in the wicked air.¬† This is held in place by the hands of the damned.¬† The A – line skirt apexes with a few minions trying to escape to no avail.¬† Under we see tentacles she uses to reap the souls of the defiant.¬† Beware the Void.

Like the Black Plague in the dark ages Pestilents sweeps through the land decimating all in its path leaving a wast land for despair.  Harsch has become Pestilents.  His armor dark and foreboding he brings chaos unchecked throughout the lands.  He is not be ignored or under estimated.  His helmet commands obedience alone.  Bow down and be destroyed, your soul captured in his cape of infinite souls.

Thetra Blackheart:”¬†Hail to the queen of darkness when she wears the Nimue!¬† Intricate¬† lines, thick velvets, lace and all the¬† fine details make this dress of royalty among the damned.¬† The lining of this gorgeous outfit is of fine silk.¬† Embroidered detail along the outfit makes for¬† a view¬† that keeps giving.¬† The bustle accentuates the womans shape and the low-cut bodice entices the onlooker to gaze and become entranced while willingly fall victim to her every whim.

Lestat will allure anyone to get close and personal.  Dark or not the admirer will not be able to resist the look this outfit possesses.  The finesse, and elegance is balanced with mystery and danger.  The mix of modern goth, old renaissance and a twist of Victorian makes wearing the Lestat an enigma around others. Getting close and personal to the man wearing this is worth  the price to pay.

Marita Overland:”This outfit ensemble is entitled “Underworld” by Runway Couture. Taking a note from the leading lady from the film,Wicca is wearing the female slayer outfit. She is ready to kick some butt in her leather body suit adorned with gold inlay, rubies and chains. The near knee-length boots are matching this ensemble¬† in black leather and gold inlay and rubies. The short mini skirt with gold chevrons, rubies and chains, are sure to catch that beast off his guard as she slays him with her storm of fire balls.

Harsch ¬†is the target on the slayer’s radar, in his large chest armor and tentacles adorned with gold and leather. His belt sits atop his hybrid bottom half with rubies and gold chain and male silks, matching his arm braces. His claws are long and yellow on both his hands and feet. He wears a face mask. also adorned with matching accents. Even with all his armor he is no match for Wicca Slayer !”

Mayden Ushimawa:”To make the “Monica” dress I was inspired by a memorable evening of spring. The dominant color is white, this is a pure color and different from the usual formal dress. Lace makes the dress most elegant. The collar with plumes and the flexi skirt gives movement to the dress.

For the “Brian” outfit I took inspiration from the very beautiful RL models, with a perfect body and a face to be kissed all over. For this reason I created this outfit. It gives the impression of a man who has just escaped from a crowd of girls, a bit messy and not even having the time to wear his jacket.”
