Wicca’s Wardrobe @ We♥RP September 2018

For this round of We♥RP we have a very special pair of gloves that we call Paxton. These gloves aren’t wrist length or even elbow length, they are ARM LENGTH! That’s right, they go all the way up to just under your shoulders. They do come in two parts, so if you really must have a short option you have one. Paxton comes with a HUD that offers 6 colors and a few metals choices for you to choose from. Paxton is made to fit only Maitreya’s Lara.

Wicca’s Wardrobe @ The Vintage Fair 2018

Wicca’s Wardrobe @ TheVintage Fair 2018 (June 8th – 24th)

Our contribution to the Vintage Fair is Lucile, an ensemble perfect for many time periods, genres and styling tastes. The Lucile outfit is made up of three independent parts: dress, jacket and belt, so it allows for a good deal of freedom when styling. Lucile is designed to fit Belleza’s Freya, Slink’s Hourglass, and Maitreya’s Lara.

Offered in blue, ivory, rose and a dark pack (which comes with a HUD with 10 texture options).

The dark pack HUD offers a lot of customization options including changing the color of the jacket, sleeves, ruffles, corset, and lacing, as well as 6 metals choices.

In addition to Lucile we have the coordinating Lucile Hat (sold separately). The hat HUD includes 10 colors and control over many parts of the hat including the hat itself, the bow, straps and ruffles.

Of course we have an amazing HUD that gives you many options for textures as well as metals. Catrina is a versatile outfit that can work together or separately in a number of different genre stylings such as, Victorian or Steampunk. Phoenix – A Modern, Steampunk Interpretation

phoenix-1

Sometimes the mind takes off and you just go with the flow…

That happened again after I got the amazing “Lavi” makeup from Slackgirl. I wanted to do something special as the makeup itself looked very different to me.

First I tried something simple, as I wanted the makeup to pop out, but what ever I tried, it never did satisfaction to the makeup to my feeling.

That usually is the point when I put things to the side and wait until the creative muse kisses me with the right idea. But for what ever reason I could not do it this time without again and again thinking about it.

phoenix-3

With the amazing shine of the makeup, I came across the idea to use the wonderful “Asgard Wings” from E.V.E Studio, that come with the matching head wing parts. So I slowly got a basic idea for what would like to go for. Wearing the cool head wing parts I had to find some hair, that go well with them without hiding too much or looking too funky. The ” Tommy” hair is the perfect choice to match my vision, which grows more and more in my mind 😉

With the beautiful detailed top from the “Scarlett” lingerie – made by Salt & Pepper – I had the arms free for the awesome “Elowen” arm pieces from Wicca’s Wardrobe. The shorts with the cool garter straps come from Asteria and are named “Mady”.

phoenix-4

With the cool “Lavi” makeup and the “Asgard” accessories the vision of an steampunk Phoenix was born in my head… I can’t tell you why but it just got tsuck in my mind :p

For the set, which I built at my studio I used the incredible “Propelling Gears” together with the “Rosina’s Undergeound” and the “Eye of the Storm” made the perfect ambience for what I was looking for 🙂

Now.. simple runway poses would not do justice to the Phoenix idea. I was trying quite a few but nothing really would work with my idea and finally Gryphon Vendetta, creator of Poseidon poses saved my life. I ran into Poseidon via Gryphons amazing flickr stream and his incredible pictures. I totally love them and drooled more than once over his pictures 😉

He does very dramatic and expressive poses which are perfect for exciting pictures and moods. I rarely saw such motion looking poses, which still look human and not distorted for the limbs. It looks like that he has poses for every occasion you can think about whether it is weapons, running scenes or flying moments. Sometimes he even has props coming with them like the one I used for the dark bloody nurse post not too long ago (http://wiccamerlin.de/something-evils-lurkinin-the-dark/).

I really got kinda an addiction for Poseidon poses since I tried them first and with all those possibilities he offers, I guess that will not be the last post I used them :p (I spied a Harley Quinn set too and I LOVE Harley Quinn*grins evil*)

But for now I hope you enjoyed my person vision of a modern steampunk Phoenix 😉

Atlantis – Inspired by [E.V.E] Studio

Aquarius 7

Today I would like to spotlight the [E.V.E] Studio. Owner and designer Noke Yuitza, always puts a lot of effort in her designs and she has a very special sense of art and design. Her creations always have a huge art aspect anyways what she creates. Today I would like to drag the focus on her contribution to the Fantasy Gacha Carnival event.

The whole set she created is inspired by the myth of Atlantis by Jules Verne’s book Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. The stong steampunk touch totally caught my heart from the very first moment when I tried the different parts of the set.

Aquarius 8

The whole “Atlantis Set” contains way more parts than those I used for today’s post.

For the pictures I decided to wear the Catsuit, the Ankle Boots and I combined the Wave hat with the Great Wave hat.

The whole set has materials enabled and reacts so wonderful to the windlight settings and surrounding lights. So for the best and most realistic look just activate the “Advanced Lighting Model ” in your viewer to enjoy the full beauty of the designs.

If you would like to see all the amazing parts of the set you can take a look at the [E.V.E] Studios blog: https://evestudio3d.wordpress.com/2015/11/06/atlantis-gacha/

Aquarius 5

To go more towards the Atlantis look I decided to add the “Eye Deco” from Elysium, which were made for the Cosmetics Fair. The cool geometric parts which are arranged like artistic lashes are the perfect match for the look.

For the makeup, I used a fe different ones from Nuuna. The blue “Litzi” stripes that go over the upper part of the face and the amazing “Ninja” in black wich covers the bottom half of the face.

Aquarius 3

I wanted to add some scales but more subtile than totally obvious. So I just used the “Dragoness Scales Black Overlay” from Talyia Tarber and for the body I got me the “Dragon Blue Scales” from [Even~Tides].

For the pictures first I wanted an under water scenery, but all that I tried did not really do what I had in mind and so I ended up at ChouChou, one of ma favourite sims for pictures. With  the wide field of water and all the artistic structures this place always inspires me even more 🙂

Golden Times

Cyber 9

And again I have a ‘start with the hat” styling going on for today 😉

The hat of today is one of the contributions of Noke Yuitza from E.V.E Studios to the Art in Hats event. It is a whole series of that wonderful head-piece in several color combinations. The name of that great head is “The Black Widow” and the whole series is called “Swing Alma Hats”.

Cyber 2

The hat is made of wonderful wavy looking huge parts, 100% original mesh and you can resize it via an inbuilt resizer. What makes this piece of art so interesting is that it as well is materials enabled and will pick up several windlights and the light of projectors as well. That is why I chose the location to shoot as it showed that in an amazing way.

Cyber 1

The version I chose to wear or today is the “E.V.E Swing Alma Hat “Black Widow Gold”. To complement the wonderful golden tone I chose the “Laviana Leggins” and the “Xena Top” from Wicca’s Wardrobe in black and bronze. I wanted a futuristic and as well fantasy look for that special hat and so I decided to add the “Draconia Wings” from Fancy Fairy.

Cyber 8

The incredible tattoo is one from a dear friend and as well from my favourite tattoo designer. Julie Hastings, owner and designer of White Widow. The “Vertigo” body tattoo is available at the main store now, in a gacha machine at the back wall of the store.

Cyber 4

The awesome location I was showed by a wonderful photographer, which I had the pleasure to work with lately. The location is the main store of Alpha Tribe. With the amazing futuristic and as well steam punk looking set and the special settings of the windlight make this a real happening to pose in and snap. All the structures and light and as well the sheer floor make an amazing scenery.

Pink Wonderland

Pink Alice 02

Yes… it is me… in pink! But no worries I took my pink allergy medicals :p

Sometimes you get special moods out of situations. Exactly that happened today.

It was time to sort and clean a messy inventory again and to go through all the stuff that I bought lately and had no time to unpack yet *giggles*

While I was doing that I found the “”Alice” hat from [sys]. The cool hat comes in 3 different version and for today’s post I decided to wear the fob watch version. If you are not a huge friend of pink you as well can have the “Alice” hat in other colors than that 😉 The hat was created for the Alice in Sexyland event.

The pattern on the hat band reminded me of a wonderful dress got at the SAVIAD Anniversary done by FEROSH earlier this year. The”Neinette” dress in the ‘Fragola’ color matched the hat band so well with the fabric and pattern, that immediately the idea for today’s post was born. The dress comes with amazing spiked shoulder parts. The tight shape accents the fashionistas figure in an amazing way and the cleavage part has some nice cut outs and an amazing collar that surrounds the neck.

Pink Alice 03

The amazing face chain is one of our latest original mesh releases from Wicca’s Wardrobe. The filigree chain with the roses and the little gems hanging down added some playful and romantic touch to the whole look. The pack contains a left and a right version of the face ornament and ou can find it at The Fantasy Collective event.

The cool “Dragon Scale Bracelets” you can find at the current round of the Instruments made by United Colors.

To complete that lightly crazy but still sweet look I added the awesome “Tall Leather Thigh High Boots” from Slink in pink too 😉

The cool flamingo came with the creations from Gizza for the Alice in Sexyland event and the color modified “Ballon Lights” are made by Kyoot.

Steampunk with Dead Dollz & EMO-tions

Steampunk 01

Steampunk is one of my favourite fashion categories. I love the mechanical ideas, the colors and as well the Victorian touch of most of the styles and designs. Not everything might be steampunk looking first hand but with the right accessories some might be able to transform into it 😉

Today I took the fantastic “Octavia” ensemble, wich Dead Dollz released for the Fantasy Collective. The amazing outfit contains skirt, corset and the shoulderpart. The wonderful skirt has amazing ruffles in the back and the tight underbust corset has amazing fabrics and textures. The “Octavia” dress is available in 3 different colors and I chose the brown one for todays post.

To cover the chest I took one of my favourite bras, the “Bettie Bad Girl Bra” from Faster Pussycat.with the golden outlines it went so perfectly with the “Octavia” dress.

For the hair i took one of the newer releases from EMO-tions, called “Tanja”- Tanja is a sweet updo with some smart wisps and a longer front, perfect for the steam punk look 😉

To even more point out on the steam punk character of the look I decided to choose my accessories from Pixel Box. The incredible”Steampunk Multi Monocle” together with the “Steampunk Clock” set wich contains a necklace, earrings and the ring – the earrings I did not use for this post – was the perfect addition.

The”Bird Skull” hair accessory, made by LoQ is one of my favourite hair pieces 😉 and so I could not resist to add it today again as it looked so sweet together with the book, it gave a little science touch, which I really loved. Such things kinda happen when you just fool around with your headpiece folder to find something that matches your look :p .
