Wicca’s Wardrobe: First Snow

N1CO Mea Culpa Lazuri 001

Today we had the first snow of the year. It did not yet stay on the ground but the tiny white ice crystals were tickling my nose today when I was out with my dog. So I could not resist to have my first “Wicca in Snow” pictures for this year for the blog πŸ˜‰

The outfit itself is a mix and match of different brands. The mesh jacket is made by N1CO. The amazing “Carla” jacket is a chameleon for your stylings. The modern style of it,Β  really is kinda a must have for every fashion loving girl. The textures are amazingly made and with the super HUD you get with it you can change texture and texture combinations so much, so you can wear this jacket to so many different looks it is simply awesome! The huge shoulder parts are very chic and if you like you can even wear some attachments to the upper arms who start at those.

N1CO Mea Culpa Lazuri 002

The mesh skirt is out of the Mea Culpa Pret a porter line. The “Leatherskirt” in black points with its awesome slim shape and the amazing textures besides the delicate leather. The belly part is decorated with kinda a short skirt over the long one and it totally matched the “Carla” jacket.

The amazing huge jewelry set was made by Zuri Lyric, owner and designer of Lazuri. The “Kaya”Β set is an everyday jewelry set. With the possibility to choose between wood and metal you always can match this modern and young looking set to every style. The menu as well let you change the texture AND the color of every gem. On top of that you can choose between 3 different styles. For example the necklace can be worn with one, 3 or 5 gems connected to it and you do not have 3 different necklaces in your inventory… No! Just one and with the menu you can change the style!

Since my basic look was black and white I decided to pop out with the color of the gems a little bit πŸ˜‰ To match the color of the jewelry I used one of the amazing slink nail HUDs from Nailed It. One of the “Clubbing Night” set, was just perfect for the pink of the jewelry.

The cute and sexy looking clutch comes from GizzA. It is available in many more colors but for my basic black and white look, I saw the white version fit best πŸ˜‰

The amazing hair, that comes with that cool hat, I found at EMO-tions. The”Farina” hairstyle is a wonderful casual hairstyle that comes in 3 different versions. Always with the hat you can decide between a rigged mesh pony tail, that’s the one I used for this post, a flexi pony tail and a updo version.

The awesome makeup was made by the sweet LovelyMiwako Menna for her store Lovely Mi.

News at Mea Culpa – Beyond Oz

Mea Culpa - Beyond Oz 001

Today I would like to showcase the latest release from Mea Culpa. After the amazing pret a porter line, Tatanka Kaligawa, owner and designer of Mea Culpa now again released a wonderful avant-garde dress again.

Mea Culpa - Beyond Oz 002

The “Beyond Oz” has a mesh made basic, wich is wonderfully textured with a black fabric that wears amazing silver ornaments. The hips are decorated with huge ruffles on each side and for the shoulder you have a huge geometric looking attachment. The shape and style of this shoulder attachment is repeated in 2 awesome huge bracelets.

What caught my attention was the big and cool head piece with the jewelry. The headpiece looks like a huge black hair bun wich again captures the look and style of the shoulder part and the bracelets. Connected to that bun, you have a wonderful flexible attachment in the same texture as the dress.

The necklace and the head jewelry are as well part of the outfit. The black pearls complete the “Beyond Oz” dress perfectly and give it a beautiful and elegant touch. Since the head jewelry and the necklace are single parts you can wear them to any other styling as well πŸ˜‰ .

The cool matching makeup comes from Silken Moon. The “Kabuki” gives the styling an even more avant-garde look and it should not miss in a fashionista’s wardrobe.

Black & White Riding Hood?

Mea Culpa & EMO-tions 001

Black & White looks always were a favourite of mine. Today I wanted another one and for the basic I started with one of the pret a porter dresses from Mea Culpa. The simple mesh dress is highlighted with a typical Mea Culpa made texture. The strength of Tatanka’s textures we know from various designs he made in the past. For his pret a porter line he has a lot of pieces and designs that look very simple on the first view, but on the second view you will see the delicate and extravagant textures and the little attachments that make evenΒ  the pret a porter line of Mea Culpa to something special.

Mea Culpa & EMO-tions 002

The “Antares” dress from Mea Culpa makes a wonderful shape line and with the amazing shoulder parts it is a wonderful basic for many kinds of styling.

The headpiece and hair reminded me of the “Red Riding Hood” even if the hood is black πŸ˜‰ . It is the new “Mary-Anne” hairstyle from EMO-tions. EMO-tions released a full line of hair pieces with bangs and various head pieces like caps and beanies and hoods. The interesting new feature is that you get a HUD for the fatpack. No more collecting tons of items in your inventoryΒ  – just the basic style with a HUD that chnages the hair color and as well the hairstyle under the hood or cap πŸ˜‰ .

The amazingΒ  necklace and bracelet are a gacha item from GizzA. The “Electra Set” in black was the perfect addition to the styling, as I only needed a necklace and a bracelet. The wonderful nail polish comes from Nail It. Giela Delpaso made several amazing nail polishes for the slink mesh hands and the “French Manicure – Dart Set” has amazing colors with the typical white top of the french manicure. The special on the Nail It nails is that you always have a prim version and one HUD version for the slink mesh hands and feet. So you can decide whether you wanna wear the mesh hands or your original avatar hands.

The lipstick is one of the latest releases from Silken Moon. The “Luna Lips” come with a special feature. You can decide, if you would like to have your lips closed or lightly parted with a teeth prim attachment. Both version will be in the “Luna Lips” pack that you are purchase.

The boots i found at one of the Colabour88 events from ISON. The “Lace-Up Gladiator Sandals” are working with the slink medium mesh feet, so you can make sure to have the best match for your skin tone with your enhancement HUD applier for your slink mesh feet.

The cool chair comes from 22769 [bauwerk]. I wanted to add some furniture to my post and the “Kafka Black” chair in shape of an insect really kicked my mind. It added a special touch of weirdness and surrealism to my picture, what I really love πŸ˜‰ .

Halloween with Mea Culpa & Silken Moon

Mea Culpa - Crow 002

Halloween is not too far away and SL’s top designers already released their Halloween collections and items. I would like to do a series of Halloween 2013 looks and decided to start with one of the latest releases from Mea Culpa.

Mea Culpa - Crow 001

The “Lunar Crow” is the perfect styling for an avant garde Halloween look. For all of those who prefer a couture look instead of a scary, cruel looking style, the “Lunar Crow” will be the right choice. The outfit is partwise mesh made. The skirt and the neck corset are mesh made and combined with the prims of the hat and the moving prims of the shoulder parts it makes a perfect match between old and new design tools. The layers are made with a delicate lace texture and the huge headpiece adds an extra avant touch.

Mea Culpa has an awesome Halloween special! Till Halloween on the 31st ofΒ  October, there will be different Halloween matching outfits for a special discount of 50% off!!! This is a chance, you should not miss… one of the great Mea Culpa designs for only the half prize!!!

Every week, there will be a selection of outfits that are set to 50% off. This week it is the “Black Mamba” (https://wiccamerlin.de/mea-culpa-goes-fetish-fashion/), the “Call of the Siren” (http://wiccamerlin.wordpress.com/2012/12/21/news-and-spectacular-christmas-special-at-mea-culpa/) and the “Dark Desire” (http://www.flickr.com/photos/meaculpahighfashion/6303396627/)

For all the males – do not be sad you have as well your Mea Culpa Halloween special. If you wanna know what it is this week just take a peek at the new Mea Culpa Mainstore! (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Himmafushi%20Island/127/141/23)

The nails are my favourite ones from Formanails. The “Madonna Skeleton” nails are prim nails, that fit to the regula avatar hands.

The incredible makeup comes out of the hand of Malicia Python, owner and designer of Silken Moon. The “Kabuki” makeup is one of the new releases, and for me it was the perfect match for today’s Halloween styling. The strong and dark ornaments round the eyes give you a certain kinda mystic look and together with the lip stripe that has that sharp line going down… it just caught my heart πŸ˜‰ .

News by Mea Culpa and Wicca’s Wardrobe!

Mea Culpa Afrika Dings 001

Mea Culpa has moved! Back with a new look on a new location. At the new Mainshop you will find a lot of news and as well a special outlet place where you are able to purchase a few of the older creations and as well some single parts for mix and match stylings. If you wanna take a look – here is a taxi directly to the new Mea Culpa Mainstore: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Himmafushi%20Island/127/141/23

I am happy to showcase one of the latest releases from Mea Culpa – “Karasu Hebi”.

Mea Culpa Afrika Dings 002a

The “Karasu Hebi” outfit is an amazing surreal outfit with incredible textures and amazing huge and fashionable prims. The look kinda a snake that wraps up round your body and the laced textured full bodysuit with the golden ornaments really gives the whole outfit a very seductive and sexy touch. The headpiece as well is part of the outfit and completes the whole outfit to an amazing art piece.

I was very happy that I was allowed to wear this amazing outfit for the Autumn Symphony show from Solo Evane. It was a very exciting and special show to me, as I was allowed to sponsor the show with my own poses from Wicca’s Wardrobe, my new label. I made all the poses for the showcased Mea Culpa outfits, as well for the “Karasu Hebi”.

WM - Poses Constricted Set

I made the new “Constricted” set so that it goes well with all the prims and textures. Sometimes it is not easy to pose outfits with such huge prims without getting in trouble or always have your arms spread or high up in the air. I wanted some dramatic and still not too spread out poses for the outfit since it has an avantgarde attitude for me. The “Constricted” pose set does not only work for the “Karasu Hebi” outfit, you can try those poses with many other outfits, that are prim heavy just try them in my new store πŸ˜‰ If you wanna see… just take the limo πŸ˜‰ http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/New/32/64/22

Mea Culpa: Floral Intimitation & a Sweet Secret

MEa Culpa Full

Sometimes you go through your inventory and find all the goodies that you already pushed way back in your memories. So it happened to me today. I was about to go over to Mea Culpa, to do some office work and thought I could wear one of my old time favourites from Tatanka Kaligawa, owner and designer of Mea Culpa. I was looking for one specific outfit as I started to dally, trying some of the earlier creations. As they all have such significant names, I never can remember which outfit hides behind them. So I tried some of them to refresh my memories, until I stumbled over the “Floral Intimitation”.Β  I put it on and was totally in love again with that stunning creation. The amazing dress is based on red and black, my two favourite colors anyways and with the green tentacles it really is an eye catcher. The skirt is made in a floral shape and the basic red is covered by an awesome filigree lace texture. What as well caught my attention was the non symmetric parts of the shoulders and arms. The right side has a wonderful shoulder and wrist part while the left side just has the glove. The hat repeats the beautiful theme of the skirt and the waist is covered by a red flower belt. The upper body part has a very sexy touch as just a few lines and ornaments cover the private parts.

Mea Culpa Half

For the matching shoes I chose the “Gothica” shoes as well from Mea Culpa. With the HUD I changed the color to red to match the dress perfect.Β  πŸ™‚ . Ready to go over to Mea Culpa to do some paperwork. As I enterd the office I nearly fainted. Huge walls of new mail, offers and what not. Ok, first of all this chaos has to be sorted. That’s the typical office of an artist… as much as Tatanka has talent and creativity and a genius mid when it comes to designing… the worse he is with all his office stuff :p. While I was sorting the desk all of a sudden a small piece of paper, just yanked out from somewhere with aΒ  few words and an underlined date. This looks interesting! I pushed some other stuff beside and pulled out that piece of paper and pulled it closer to decrypt the lovely hand of my boss.

Wow! It seems he plans a sale. Seems he planned this for the upcoming weekend and as well he wants to include the new, still unreleased female outfit he showed me a few days ago in his laboratory…

Suddenly I heard steps coming up the stairs outside the room. Quickly I pushed the note back under a huge pack of mail and pretended to clean the desk as Tatanka came in. He looked at me and I tried to make an innocent face while my hands sorted some letters. After a short talk he left the office to continue his work and I just finished mine before I went down to the store to help out a customer that asked for.

Maybe keep a close look on the notices this weekend for the upcoming special sale with some amazing discounted items!

Male News at Mea Culpa!

Mea Culpa - Arctic Storm black HALF

After a longer pause Mea Culpa is back with new designs for the males! Tatanka Kaligawa, owner and designer of Mea Culpa, released a new male collection and I am very happy, that I could talk Redclaw Inshan into it to wear it for me, so I can show some of the amazing news πŸ˜‰

Mea Culpa - Arctic Storm black

The new “Arctic Storm” coat is my main focus for this post. This amazing coat has wonderful flexible parts that move fantastic with every step you take. The awesome textures give a perfect realistic look. For this post I chose the “Arctic Storm” in black first like you can see above.

Mea Culpa - Arctic Storm grey

For all who prefer the lighter tones, the “Artic Storm” in grey might be the choice ;). You have the same amazing features like for the black version. The long arms make an amaziing contrast to the open front and you do not really need to wear a shirt under it in my opinion *grins*

So even if the colder days get shorter, the new “Arctic Storm” coat from Mea Culpa should not miss in a good sorted males wardrobe πŸ˜‰

I would like to thank Redclaw Inshan for the time and patience to model the new “Arctic Storm” coat for me.

To see all of the amazing new male creations you better take a look for yourself at the Mea Culpa Mainstore πŸ˜‰

Future Couture with Mea Culpa – “Chromium Impact”

Wicca & Dahriel Mea Culpa Chrome full

And again I have the great pleasure to show you one of the newest releases of Mea Culpa. Tatanka Kaligawa, owner and designer of Mea Culpa, really is busy these days and releases so many new and incredible outfits that I really have trouble to decide wich one should go first πŸ˜‰ .

Again it was my dear little brother Dahriel, that amazed me with a matching male Mea Culpa outfit to the new female “Chromium Impact” outfit. The “Chromium Impact” is a firework of incredible textured prims. The amazing chrome effect for sure is the base for the whole outfit, but all the amazing little details like the tassels at the hips, the awesome shoulder pads, the wrist parts and the huge skirt are perfect arranged to make a high couture creation. To complete my styling I added the “Marceline Horns” from Ezura and some punky hair. The extraordinary skin was made by Malicia Python, owner and designer of Silken Moon. The amazing eye decoration is directly painted on a wonderful gray scaled skin, perfect for black & white pics and for some very special and unique stylings. The cool looking earrings come from [sys] and are called “Aquarius Earrings”.

Dahriel is wearing the amazing “Venecian Millenium” outfit from Mea Culpa and for the details of his awesome and extravagant styling you can take a look at his blog πŸ˜‰ (http://dahrielfashionsl.wordpress.com/2013/01/31/news-from-mea-culpa-posesion-with-house-of-elliot-eshi-otawara/)

Wicca’s Wardrobe: New Born – Wicca Reloaded – The whole Story!!!

Wicca_Final_Cover_Fixed

After using it now for a while I would like to give it a special showcase finally πŸ˜‰ – My first custom-made skin – “Wicca”!

Some of you might remember my make over in August 2012 where Wicca got a total new look (http://wiccamerlin.wordpress.com/2012/08/28/wiccas-wardrobe-new-born-wicca-a-total-makeover/).

Wicca2-Malicia Skins

The post was about getting a new look and the desire of a new shape that gives Wicca a bit more character and a bit more of herself.Β The new shape made a huge difference and change in my SL life but still I was no totally satisfied, as I never found a skin that really expressed what I wanted, no skin that I tried, gave Wicca that last ‘nail on the head’ look. While I was searching for another skin to try, Malicia Python, owner and designer of Silken Moon ran into my IM. I was wearing her “Rookie” skin for nearly a year, before that total change of myself and she made me a lot of custom makeups for. She was kinda sad that I took of her “Rookie” skin and she asked me what the reasons were. I told her about, that I looked for something that gives Wicca more character, more of herself. Malicia as well was working on a new concept and new skins that time and so we talked more and more about what I would like for Wicca. She made me look more into what I really wanted, as I could not really find words for what I was looking for. Wicca always had the huge eyes, her big nose and smaller lips as her features. She made me google, wich ethic group this facial features has. I looked trough a lot of pictures, websites and magazines until I found out, that the Scandinavians are the closest to what I wanted for Wicca. I gave Malicia some links of Scandinavian top models that I really liked.

That was the starting shot for my first custom-made skin. Malicia put a lot of her knowledge and creativity into the skin what again changed it a bit. We talked a lot on Skype and Malicia more and more became so much more that a skin designer to me. A friendship started growing that should go further that Second Life… but that was way later πŸ˜‰

Wicca-Close

The more we talked the more we discovered that we think alike in many things. We got each other known better and better, what as well helped for the custom “Wicca”skin. Malicia asked me a lot about every face detail. The start was the eyes and I was totally thrilled as I got the first prototype of the eye section. I never saw such detailed, filigree and realistic eyes on a skin… I never liked the photo realistic skins for SL and Malicia painted all by herself on Photoshop for it. As well Malicia always puts a lot of character in her skins as well with not making a total symmetric face. The left side always is a little wee bit different from the right and that gives the whole face a life.

Then we talked about the skintone.I did not wanna have the typical yellow touch that you find on many skins and for the Scandinavian look it had to be something special. She gave me a color palette, to choose a basic tone from that she can start working on. For sure I liked something in between… and not one of the pre-made ones and Mal started working this tone over the whole skin. With my new idea of the basic body shape that’s more square sized and has nearly no waist, Malicia came on the idea to give the skin itself a bit more shading of muscles and details. That came right in the direction I thought of, since those smooth, glossy and straight barbie bellies were so not my cup of tea πŸ˜‰ Wicca was never super skinny but as well she had not too much curves as well so I liked the idea of a stronger and more muscle but still female looking character. As well she put a lot of time on the backside with the spine and the shoulders to make them match the look of the front side.

wicca by leah

For me the private bits were never super important, as I usually do not show them anyways but even those look so… yummy… *grins* and Wicca got a real cute, sexy round ass πŸ˜‰

The next huge part was the lips. The shape I got from Jesika Contepomi, I tweaked around again and again – I guess as a model you keep doing this as you always try to grow – and the result did not allow me to wear most of the skins on the grid as the lips moved to a very special spot. All the usual skins I tried had destroyed, blurred and weird upper lips. so what to do.. again change my shape… no… I basically liked it how it was. So Malicia kinda painted my lips on my shape and avatar.. she pulled them up and down changed the shape until they were perfect.

Then we came to the eyebrows… I always liked the natural, realistic eyebrows, where you can see the single hairs, way more than the powdered, thin, small ones. Malicia made a dream come true with my new eyebrows and if you take a real close look they are again not the same for the left and right side.

wicB

After month of work, in December 2012,I got my very own skin… the “Wicca” skin. For me it was like Christmas, Easter and Birthday to the same time. When Malicia sent me the first “Essential Wicca” folder, I was crying when I tried it on. Not even in my dreams I had thought about this result. Every little detail – the birthmark, the freckles, the lips the eyes… – simply everything was there!

The first time of my whole SL life I felt being Wicca… Wicca how I always desired her to be.

I could not stop looking at her face and her body… I guess I never looked at a naked avatar for so long before I started her dressing up :p .

From that moment on the idea of this post was growing, but I wanted to have some very special pictures for it. That took some time because more people were involved and we had all a different time schedule. I did not wanna rush it at all, because the whole story was way too important for me and that was why it took a while for the whole post to happen πŸ™‚

I wanted to have different photographers that show their view of the new “Wicca”. I was really happy that I was able to have people, I respect, adore and feel a special connection to for this pictures. So I created different looks and styles for each of them.

Wicca_Finalv2

Pam Astonia made the first face shot of the new Wicca. Malicia wanted a special advertise for her custom skins at the Silken Moon Mainstore and she asked me about a few good photographers for close-ups. I adore Pam‘s work since I started modeling in Sl and I was more than happy as Malicia told me that Pam would be the photographer for the advertise ppicture in her store. The result was the second picture of this post.

After that I got asked from Misha Flanagan, who reopened her agency, if I could be the cover model for the new and first NK Magazine. She asked me if I know a photographer I would love to work with and wanted a “Reborn” theme… perfect as well for my “New Born” post. I suggested LovelyMiwako7399 Menna as the photographer I would like to work with for this special cause. I liked the image so much that I used it as the opener for this post :).

The third picture was made of Lovely again and it shows her view and how she sees Wicca. We had a very nice conversation during we did the shoot and I would like to quote her a little and share part of the conversation πŸ˜‰

[11:04] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: thing with you is
[11:04] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: you are a whole
[11:04] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: Is like trying to grab air and bottle it.
[11:04] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: Air changes
[11:04] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: it moves
[11:04] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: it can be a caress and at the same time it can be violent and angry.
[11:04] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: you are a mixture of air and water.
[11:05] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: you carve your way through problems.
[11:05] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: and you open roads for yourself
[11:05] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: and you can be as sweet as you can be violent and rough.
[11:05] Wicca Merlin: *immediately grabs you and pulls you in a super tight hug
[11:05] LovelyMiwako7399 Menna: Is very hard to capture you

Number 4 was made by Leah McCullough. I adore her picture work for a long time and the last months she became a real close friend as well. Leah for me always was someone, that I adored for her pictures. The clean and realistic look of her pictures and her classy style and look always was something I looked up to. I was very happy as Leah started her own HAUTE Magazine, where I am allowed to contribute a few of my weird any crazy ideas πŸ˜‰

Last but not least picture number 5 was made by Natzuka Miliandrovic. I follow Nat‘s flickr stream for a long time and we had the pleasure to work together for different magazines in the past. Nat gives all of her pictures a very special look that became her trademark. I cannot really say what it is, but I would be able to tell fast if a picture is from her or not πŸ™‚ Nat became a very close friend to me too over the last month. We talked a lot on Skype and in SL and we discovered that we think alike in many things.

For the 6th picture I again approached Lovely. Usually I never be on pictures fully naked. Maybe it is my german background… I do not know what it is but nude pics usually for quickly get a bad taste. In germany we have the weird fact, that always if the glory of a prominent person fades, they undress for the Playboy or other magazines. With that in the back of my head I declined many photo shoots, that required to be naked without any lights or covers that hide the private bits, as I always was scared of an unwanted ‘outcome’ when you have to give all power to a photographer and have no power anymore on what the result will be.

But my new skin was made so incredible on the body as well that the desire was growing more and more for a nude picture that shows always and nothing to the same time. I went to Lovely‘s IM and explained her what I would like to try. She knows me very well and she knows exactly about my feeling about nudity for my avatar. I trust Lovely so much that I was sure if she takes the challenge on this idea of mine, it will be a mega amazing picture and I would not regret that I did it πŸ˜‰ . The outcome of our little project you can see on the picture right above πŸ™‚

I would like to thank Leah McCullough, Natzuka Miliandrovic, LovelyMiwako7399 Menna and Pam Astonia for their amazing, stunning and incredible work, that made this post to happen and as well for their friendship!!!

The most huge thank you that I can imagine… and I have no even words for how grateful I am… goes to Malicia Python. She made a huge dream come true with creating me a special custom “Wicca” skin that only was made for me alone. I never even dreamed about to have a skin customized to my avatar, to Wicca and unique on the whole SL grid since it never will be sold to anyone. Malicia and me got a very special friendship, that was growing even more during the development of the “Wicca” skin and it was a huge honor to meet this wonderful Lady on the 24th of December 2012 in RL.

Thank you Malicia, for what you are to me and for the wonderful and true friendship! And for sure for that incredible super amazing skin!!!

Are you ready for “The Abyss”?

FetishCouture-Twins

“The Abyss” – One of Mea Culpa‘s latest releases. Tatanka Kaligawa is working on his X-treme line for Mea Culpa. The idea behind the X-treme line is to bring the fetish style up to a high couture level. Britney Spear, Christina Aguilera and Madonna already discovered the success of combining this 2 styles. Both showed that latex and vinyl can be very sexy if you know how to arrange the outfit. More and more the music industry uses high fashion and couture to make their concerts to huge events with outfits, light and performances. They raised the bar for stage outfits a lot and many try to follow that trend πŸ™‚

For many fetish only has a naughty touch and all just think about the backyard dominas… but fetish itself can be so much more than that. Tatanka dares to break the old stereotypes and shows that he can bring the fetish couture to a higher level. With delicate textures and ideas for designs he shows that you can do so much more that just ‘dungeon’ outfits. He makes it happen that fetish components on his creations make them ready for the huge runways. Tatanka exactly knows the very thin border that he walks perfectly on with for example “The Abyss” outfit. The basic texture layers are again textured with amazing fabrics that have a sexy touch with all the well set holes πŸ˜‰ the prim attachments complete the straight and couture look in an amazing way. The waist attachment with the long lines hanging down, the cool glasses and the crossed lines at the front neck, that remind on a corset back are wonderful details that show the skills and abilities of Tatanka for creating unique and high fashion designs. What caught my attention a lot was the huge head-piece. The combination of horns, chains and fabrics add a light goth touch as well but with a special couture taste.

For me it has a very special meaning, as I never was a mainstream girl. I always looked left and right of the mainstream and liked the unusual and extraordinary. As I started modeling, I was told as long as I always try to swim against the mainstream as a little fashion rebel, it will bring me nowhere. For a long time I kinda felt like the ugly duck beside all the swans in the fashion world. But it seemed never so bad, that I really wanted to change it. How could I change my self, what I think and what I feel, without loosing myself? So I decided to stick to myself and grow inside of what I felt, thought and liked. Not everyone liked what I did, but more and more it became a trademark of my self to be different, to be the little ‘freak’. The sentence “Hell you always have to twist outfits to make them part of yourself” or ” It is nice to see a different view of my designs” more and more became compliments instead or complaints for me. On that long way of developing myself, my style and to realize my own visions of fashion and style I met a few people who were close to my ideas and my mind. One of the is LovelyMiwako7399 Menna (http://eclecticmiwa.wordpress.com/2013/01/20/fetish-couture-twins/). She is wild, crazy, loud, cute, sweet, creative, young, fresh, provocative and one of the best friends you can have. Lovely became a very close friend for me and we share a lot, not only a loose friendship… we share ideas, minds, tastes and ideals. There is not many in a virtual environment like SL you feel so close to and trust so much.Β  She always was a rebel with her ideas, styles and creations as well and so it was a great honor to do this picture together with her as the ‘Fetish Couture Twins’, she as well did the picture for this post.

Dare to get out of dusted stereotypes! Dare to stay true to yourself! Dare to be different!

If you take a look at the Mea Culpa Mainstore you can see how πŸ˜‰ with the new X-treme line at the basement!
