Finesmith – “Asia”

Yula Finesmith is back from her vacation.. and we have a bunch of amazing new releases at Finesmith!!! For today I have the “Asia” set for you 🙂 A wonderful, elegant and beautiful set, that contains a pair of earrings, a necklace and a ring. The basic shape we can see is kinda flower. The filigree lines at the outsides, that give the imagination of the petals meet in the middle in a fantastic textured pearl. The pearls, in a smaller size,  you as well can find at the very end of the silver ‘petals’ as well. Again we can see yula’s amazing skills if it comes to design and details. Her unique creations seem to be an inspiration for other jewelry designers as well, what bigger compliment you can get as a designer… so way to go yula… you rock 🙂

Halloween at Aphrodite Megastore!!!

Again I got an awesome male outfit from the Aphrodite Megastore, called “Bloody Night”,  that made me search for a male model to showcase it ;). Vara Blackburn said he would do it, if he can bring his victim with him for the pic… I was like “uhm… ok” and as you can see he brought his girl, dressed matching to the Halloween tux by the Aphrodite Megastore.

But now lets take a closer look at the tux. “Bloody Night” is a great ready-made Halloween outfit for males. The bloody shirt with the attached neck and wrist prims as well the little rose on the left revere show the eye for the details. The pants, shoes, hat and knife are as well part of the outfit. The hat as well shows some neat details like the little skull at the orange headband. Guys if you are in need of a cool quality Halloween outfit… this is your chance!!! .. if I take a closer look on one of the latest creations of Lexi Vargas… they should!!! Lexi Vargas, owner and designer of Brocade Tiger created a wonderful purple suit for the fashionist the dares to show colors… You can wear the purple ensemble with or without vest. The loose tie gives an even more casual touch. Today I have the great pleasure to show one of Rogue Falconer‘s newest creations. The “McQueen Dress” is available in 3 colors and one limited color. The regular colors are white as you can see, red and black. The limited color is… maybe find your way to the RoTtEn DeFiAnCe Mainstore and find out ;)?

But back to the white version of the “McQueen Dress”. The lover body is hidden with an alpha layer so that you can wear this amazing dress and walk it without destroying the wonderful skirt. The ruffles are great flexible and make a dreamy look while moving the avatar. The awesome top is not just made in white… If you take a closer look you can see the very filigree and beautiful white ornaments on the fabric. The huge headpiece as well is part of the outfits and it gives a great avantgarde touch to the whole dress. The closed huge veil that surrounds the head with this incredible horns that come out… the sheer lace as well is decorated with the amazing ornaments that you can find on the top… stunning. With this dress you will be definitely center of every event that you join!

Faster Pussycat gives Lucy a new lease on life!!!

Many remember Lucy Westenra, one fabulous character of Bram Stokers’s Dracula. Honey Bender, designer and owner of Faster Pussycat, gave her a new lease on life.

She made the funeral dress that Lucy was wearing as she climbed out of the coffin again before she was finally put to the everlasting sleep. This fantastic dress probably needed a lot of work and time if you take a closer look on all the fantastic lace textures and the flexible prims of skirt, sleeves and collar. The awesome primwork for the headpiece, the collar and all the little details as well show a big eyes and love for the details.

Overall it is an amazing interpretation of the original gown in the film… I never saw a batter one 😉 The time to release it could not be better chosen then so short before Halloween… in this dress you escape all the black and orange Halloween styles and costumes and still, you will turn heads on every party! I have another amazing outfit of the latest Faster Pussycat releases that I will show you very soon, but for now enjoy Lucy and make your way to the Faster Pussycat Mainstore to look what else  is new there 🙂

Fall News by Elan

Lately I had the pleasure to talk to Alatiel Malies, owner and designer of Elan. We talked about different things, as she told me she released her new Fall Collection not too long ago. For sure I got curious and took a look. I found beautiful outfits at the Elan Mainstore and I am very happy, that I may show you one of them in this post. This wonderful outfit is called “Curious”… matching my emotions as I was told about the latest releases ;). It is an amazing pants outfit. The pants have large, wide leg sleeves that give the whole outfit a very fashionable touch. The tight high waist part accents the slim shape of every fashionista perfectly 🙂 As we can see with the little buttons and the belt, Alatiel added some very nice details to the black pants. The white top – black and white combinations are anyways an addiction for me – has awesome huge ruffles round the neck and the neckline in the front. The shoulders are decorated as well with large puffy parts. The deep neckline in the front gives room for very nice jewelry…

For this post I wanna show you something that I found lately after the designer wrote to me. I took a look at her store and saw that she already has quite some wonderful jewelry in her little store. Poison Avedon just started to make jewelry and she has some very cute ideas. For today to match the “Curious” outfit  from Elan I chose the “Shyla’s Silvergrey” set. Poison Jewels, that’s her brand 😉 does not only one style of jewelry. OMG!!! – Thank you Everybody!!!

I just would like to say thank you to everyone of you that supports, reads and follows my blog. On the 29th of July 2009 I did my first blog. That’s over 2 years of blogging now and it became quite an addiction. I have so much fun with doing pics and write some descriptions and reviews about the awesome designs and events in SL since then. Usually over the last year I had about 200 to 300 clicks per day sometimes it raised over 500… but all of a sudden I checked the blog stats on Wednesday last week and it was over 600 clicks already and I was doing the happy dance already. But on Thursday the 19th of October 2011, YOU all made my day as the blog reached the 2052 clicks for just one day!!! Since then it never fell back under 1000 to 1500 clicks per day. I am so happy that you all enjoy and read my little posts.

Without you all – readers, followers, friends and designers – I would not be able to do that!!!

E-Clipse: Out of the dark – The Harpys coming!!!

Thetra Blackheart, owner and designer of E-Clipse, as well winner of the Claim the Fame contest created another incredible outfit. Right in time for her “Out of the dark” show tonight 🙂

The “Celeno” outfit comes as a full ready-made outfit with wings, feet, headpiece, blood dropping collar and teeth, face emoter, twitching tail, eyes, body- and facetattoo.

As we saw so many times before, Thetra Blackheart puts a lot of time and love for every single detail in all of her creations. If you take a closer look on the backside you can see the prim spine that she added or the little blood dropping teeth or even the bloody collar… you only can imagine how many time she must have invested in this outfit!

The face and body tattoo as well are very detailed and very innovative and totally complete the whole outfit. As a little gift as well you will find a typical Harpy sound in the outfit as well. This only will be one of many amazing outfits that are shown in the “Out of the Dark” show tonight 🙂
