Last days I walked through the MVW Academy corridors and suddenly I heard a mega off one of the class rooms. As I went closer I peeked through the little window in the door and saw half of a class running around, shouting. Some where pulling each others hairs and some were throwing stuff against each other… I opened the door with a light smile as this reminded me of my own high school years. If there was no teacher the students freak out and start doing crap. And my memories were completed as I entered the room. All of a sudden it went quiet and all eyes were focusing me, in an asking way, what I would do here… As I started explaining my memories and that it lightly made me sad that they all went so quiet, I saw out of my eye corner in my back one girl who tried to place some glue on the teachers chair and as they wanted to prove me wrong a little paper ball hit my forehead. The suddnely I saw them both – Pow and Temptress – pulling each others hair… I grabbed the 2 girls by the arms and pulled them closer looking at them… Finally I came to an idea… if they chose to put me in the teachers role so badly (yes I still do not feel like an adult most of the time :p), I decided I could get some detention out as well and told them, that I think they would have too much free time and that I can change that for a while…
I told them that I wanna have 2 looks created in the next 15 min. The first look should be kinda city chic style, like they would go out for shopping in London, Rome or Mailand. The second look should be a crazy future fashion… nothing that quite did happen, more what could be fashion in the future… and on the 2 pictures you can see the results :p. The did a pretty good job on the tasks and I wanted to share the funny story along with the nice results as well 🙂
So MVW Academy students… be careful how you show you have too much free time in the future *grins evil*

A selection of gowns from some of Second Life®‘s top designers will be sold with partial proceeds being donated to help support the Academie’s education and outreach efforts.

The Academie however continues to grow and expand beyond music into the performing arts enabling us to produce elaborate dance productions. Academie Royale de Musique supports and promotes superior music and theatre at the Duche de Coeur. The Academie’s mission primarily focuses on classical music however it showcases a variety of genre through several music appreciation and educational workshops and sessions.

After the big success of the “Cherries on Top Hunt” we come back with one more hunt for you!
10 purple eggs have been hidden at PurpleMoon Main Store
Find them and get these fabulous treasures!
How does this go? We have done it before so you all know the rules by now but let me remind you:
Instructions

1- This hunt is free and open to public (no group membership required)
2- The object you are looking for is an egg in purple polka dot texture (like the sample located at the entrance)
3- To receive the gift, simple by the eggs for L$0!. You will be given a folder with the contents of the egg that you can wear right away!
4- The eggs are numbered from 1 to 10.
5- There are no hints given. They are easy to find and this is more for the fun of it than anything else. They are only hidden at the FIRST/MAIN FLOOR of the Main Store (8 eggs) and in the BOHO HOUSE (2 eggs), across the garden. (NOT on the second floor)
6- The eggs hanging of the ceiling are an indicator that there are purple eggs hidden in that room.
7- It is MANDATORY to HAVE FUN! =P Bring your friends, family, loved ones and enjoy!

ONCE UPON A TIME, not so long ago, there was a woman with a dream.
FOREVER FOND OF THE ODD, colorful, interesting and unusual, she wondered why people looked so sad. Was it their perfectly nice and respectable – but muted hairs? Had nice – or even worse – boring hair sucked the spirit out of them?
THEN LIKE A BLAST, it came to her!
It wasn’t that they all had to be as one, it was that they had all forgotten how to throw caution to the wind. To be wild and free, to dance to their own tune like no one was watching, sing their own song, be a shepherd and not a sheep. To know they can be anything and not settling for less!
Perhaps she could help them? Find others who could assist her in showing those restrained by the real world how to let out their inner Vivianne Westwood couture model, outrageous drag queen, ripped and torn punk rocker or squeaky and shiny cybernun? Perhaps they secretly wanted to be a cat/spider/demon or toaster?
To not be afraid of new ideas and enjoy the madness of creation in all its weird and wonderful forms!
SO SHE AWOKE and planned to seek out like minds to assist her.
ACCOMPANIED by a marvellous bunch of trusty friends, she set about finding those capable of making brilliantly wild and crazy hair. Only specific makers were asked, because the team had to be sure they were worthy of the challenge ahead.
They all laughed excitedly and said “Let’s do it”!
