Bird of Paradise – News at Silken Moon

A new skin arrived on the grid! Silken Moon released a brand new skin. “Simone” is the perfect skin for all who wish to keep their young look. The skin is very detailed what you will see if you take a demo and look at the body. It is made very realistic looking. Every pixel was placed with love and thoughts. The high lights are incredible awesome set. For example the collar bones are wonderfully accented, to get the imagination of a well shaped and beautiful body. “Simone” comes in 8 new and different skin tones. If you purchase one of the “Simone” skins you get a lot of additional extras with it. Each skin has 2 cleavage options, an eyebrow shaper, Slink hand and feet applier HUDs for all 8 tones and as well an open and a closed lips option with matching prim teeth for the perfect smile 😉 . Besides the natural tinted eyebrows you get some real crazy coloured eyebrows like green or pink and you get one tintable option to make it any color you like. For some it might also be interesting that Malicia Python, mother and creator of “Simone” and owner of Silken Moon, offers a free service for Lola appliers as well.

The makeup which I added on “Simone” as well comes from Silken Moon. The “Autumn Eyes” in gold so repeated the lines of the amazing clothing. The whole set of the “Autumn Eyes” contain wonderful dark and warm colors, wich are perfectly for the actual season. Usually I do not wear any eyebrows anymore but with the cool options of the “Simone” skin I could not resist to add some green eyebrows that went with the outfit so well 😉 . The lipstick is one of the new “Simone Lips” in lavender.

But Malicia did not only release a new skin… she as well made some amazing mesh clothing like the “Paradox” outfit. The “Paradox” vest and pants in the peacock version caught my attention as i never saw such a rich textured outfit in so many different colors that go so well together 😉 Usually I am more the black type, but with the beautiful pattern of the pants and the amazing texture of the vest it was just a ‘must have’ for me. There is way more variations of the “Paradox outfit at Silken Moon and you can combine, mix and match all of them with each other. The dark teal, green texture goes along so well with the ‘cool pale canvas’ version of “Simone and I could not resist even red hair to all the colors and wild makeup combination 😉 .

To add even more color and repeat the orange tone of the hair and the “Paradox” vest, I decided to wear the new “Kaya” set from Lazuri. With the amazing menu that does let you recolor nearly every little part of the set it was easy to set the gems to orange and get some gold and wooden look for the metals.

The poses are from the latest release from Corpus. The “Lounge Series 001” are a full set of amazing sits. But we all know Corpus for unusual and amazing editorial poses and so the new set is not just a bunch of simple and usual sit. You have half laying poses like i used on the first picture and as well some ground sits in it. A real must have for every blogger and photographer!

And there is me the Bird of Paradise, unbelievable but true  in strong and bright colors 😉

New Late Autumn Look at GizzA

Autumn gets colder and colder and the winter is right before us. I still try to tell myself it is late autumn but if I look outside… I get shown different*sighs* And even if I turn up the heat in my apartment… I afraid, I will not escape the winter outside. To bring back a bit of warmer feelings I could not resist to try the new “Woolen Series” and to get the warmer type of colors I went to one of my favourite places to snap the pictures – at the Looking Glass sim.

The “Knitted Crop Top” might let me freeze a little but the style of it lets me suffer*grins*. The top is mesh made and with the 2 belts round the waist and right under the dress it has a very sexy look. The “Tartan Mini Skirt” really is something I would wear RL as well. I like the pattern and the combination of the soft warm colors with a touch of red that goes perfectly with the “Knitted Crop Top”. I added the black version of the “Epaulette Set”. This accessoriy is out of the gacha at GizzA and it has many other amazing colors as well. The super cool mesh boots are my long time favourites of LeeZu. The “Piccadilly Overknee Boots” are the perfect addition to cover most of the legs so I will at least have warm feet 😉 .

The “Woolen Series” are now available in different colors at the GizzA Mainstore.

The lipstick is one of the newest releases from Silken Moon. The “Luna Lips Bonfire” have the perfect red tone to match the whole look. The fingernails are colored with one of the Slink enhancer HUD’s from Nailed It.

News at Wicca’s Wardrobe!!! – The “Show Off” Set

And again I did it :p . A new pose set has arrived at Wicca’s Wardrobe. The new “Show Off” set did grow out of a styling with the awesome “Au Revoir Sade” coat from LeeZu. I wanted to have some poses who have a smart and sexy touch for this styling. The focus for this poses were on the hips and legs since they can be seen. Certainly you can use those poses for every other styling with or without coats as well 🙂 .

Black & White Riding Hood?

Black & White looks always were a favourite of mine. Today I wanted another one and for the basic I started with one of the pret a porter dresses from Mea Culpa. The simple mesh dress is highlighted with a typical Mea Culpa made texture. The strength of Tatanka’s textures we know from various designs he made in the past. For his pret a porter line he has a lot of pieces and designs that look very simple on the first view, but on the second view you will see the delicate and extravagant textures and the little attachments that make even  the pret a porter line of Mea Culpa to something special.

The “Antares” dress from Mea Culpa makes a wonderful shape line and with the amazing shoulder parts it is a wonderful basic for many kinds of styling.

The headpiece and hair reminded me of the “Red Riding Hood” even if the hood is black 😉 . It is the new “Mary-Anne” hairstyle from EMO-tions. EMO-tions released a full line of hair pieces with bangs and various head pieces like caps and beanies and hoods. The interesting new feature is that you get a HUD for the fatpack. No more collecting tons of items in your inventory  – just the basic style with a HUD that chnages the hair color and as well the hairstyle under the hood or cap 😉 .

The amazing  necklace and bracelet are a gacha item from GizzA. The “Electra Set” in black was the perfect addition to the styling, as I only needed a necklace and a bracelet. The wonderful nail polish comes from Nail It. Giela Delpaso made several amazing nail polishes for the slink mesh hands and the “French Manicure – Dart Set” has amazing colors with the typical white top of the french manicure. The special on the Nail It nails is that you always have a prim version and one HUD version for the slink mesh hands and feet. So you can decide whether you wanna wear the mesh hands or your original avatar hands.

The lipstick is one of the latest releases from Silken Moon. The “Luna Lips” come with a special feature. You can decide, if you would like to have your lips closed or lightly parted with a teeth prim attachment. Both version will be in the “Luna Lips” pack that you are purchase.

The boots i found at one of the Colabour88 events from ISON. The “Lace-Up Gladiator Sandals” are working with the slink medium mesh feet, so you can make sure to have the best match for your skin tone with your enhancement HUD applier for your slink mesh feet.

The cool chair comes from 22769 [bauwerk]. I wanted to add some furniture to my post and the “Kafka Black” chair in shape of an insect really kicked my mind. It added a special touch of weirdness and surrealism to my picture, what I really love 😉 .

Medusa from *PosESioN*

One of the latest releases of PosESioN is the “Medusa” pose set. I was so happy when my wonderful brother Dahriel askd me if I would like to model for the vedor of the “Medusa” set.

I had so much with the styling  that I decided to try some more poses of the “Medusa” set and went to find some greek looking places for the right abience of my Medusa ;). All the poses of the “Medusa” set are very strong and expressive. In the set you will get 10 different poses and one pose as well is mirrowed so you can find the right view and angle for your picture.

For the styling I remembered the amazing “Medusa” outfit from Enzo Champagne, owner and designer of Champagne – Sparkling Fashion. He made this amazing outfit, with all the cool snakes and the amazing huge headpiece. I decided to take the headpiece and the waist corset with the attached skirt and huge snakes.  The skirt has an interesting feature… you can enable amazing snake sounds that give the outfit  a very special mood ;). The neck corset repeats the waist corset in a wonderful way and builds a wonderful frame for the black corset and pants.

For the top i chose  the corset of the “Sablier” outfit from LeeZu together with the “Glitter Pants” as well from Leezu.

For the skin I chose one of the “Morbida” skins of Silken Moon. The “Morbida” skin line of Silken Moon has some very special and outstanding makeups. For today’s styling I chose the “Morbida Lizzie” with those awesome eye makeup and the wonderful reptile looking ornaments on the cheeks. I only added one of the lipsticks that Malicia made for my custom skin in the apple color, to match the snakes. I rarely saw a grey skin that has so amazing details and so great made shadows and lights that you still get a super realistic vision of a skin.

For the shoulder snake I found the “Kaa” snake of deviousMinds. Those cool mesh snakes were part of a gacha and you could get them in different colors.

Electrifying news by Mea Culpa & EMO-tions

Today I was in a crazy color mood when I unpacked all my new things. The basic for today’s styling was one of the new releases from Mea Culpa called “Sirius”. The “Sirius” dress is part of the new pret a porter line of Mea Culpa. Tatanka Kaligawa, owner and designer of Mea Culpa, made a special line with new mesh dresses, skirts and tops that are sold for under 1000 lindens.

Sometimes you just wanna go out and meet friends or just go for a window shopping tour. Then you do not wanna dress up too extravagant but maybe you still search for something that has something special or extravagant. The bright and strong colors of the “Sirius” really inspired me to do a colorful post.

To underline the strong colors I decided to wear some extraordinary makeup from Nuuna’s. I combined the “Warp” makeup in green with the “Tiia” in purple and added a lipstick, Malicia Python from Silken Moon made for me.

The wonderful red hair, is one of the newer mesh hair of EMO-tions. The “Maja” hair is a non symmetric hairstyle and with the mesh technique it goes wonderfully with all your moves.

Halloween with Mea Culpa & Silken Moon

Halloween is not too far away and SL’s top designers already released their Halloween collections and items. I would like to do a series of Halloween 2013 looks and decided to start with one of the latest releases from Mea Culpa.

The “Lunar Crow” is the perfect styling for an avant garde Halloween look. For all of those who prefer a couture look instead of a scary, cruel looking style, the “Lunar Crow” will be the right choice. The outfit is partwise mesh made. The skirt and the neck corset are mesh made and combined with the prims of the hat and the moving prims of the shoulder parts it makes a perfect match between old and new design tools. The layers are made with a delicate lace texture and the huge headpiece adds an extra avant touch.

The nails are my favourite ones from Formanails. The “Madonna Skeleton” nails are prim nails, that fit to the regula avatar hands.

The incredible makeup comes out of the hand of Malicia Python, owner and designer of Silken Moon. The “Kabuki” makeup is one of the new releases, and for me it was the perfect match for today’s Halloween styling. The strong and dark ornaments round the eyes give you a certain kinda mystic look and together with the lip stripe that has that sharp line going down… it just caught my heart 😉 .

Dark Femme Fatale with GizzA & Finesmith

Days get shorter, colder and my favourite season of the years starts… the mystical autumn.

Autumn contains some of my most favourite days like Halloween. I like the dark and foggy ambience what always has something dreamy and creepy scary when the sun goes down ;). This is the time of the little scary stories, which I really love a lot. Anyways if legends or fairy tales, I like the feeling that you have when you sit inside your house, the wind blows outside and shadows play little games outside 😉 .

I am sure that the new “Femme Fatale” outfit from GizzA was not meant to be shown in a dark and scary way but my mind was so much caught by the darkness of the season that I could not resist 😉 . The “Femme Fatale” in black is a huge folder with many parts and items, which make an amazing ready-to-wear outfit. What first caught my eyes was the long, sheer mesh coat with the amazing frills. The sheer coat makes it possible that you can see the awesome mesh corset, the beautiful lace body and the super cool mesh overknee boots. Even the wonderful eye makeup is included.

To underline the dark look I decided to wear the “Black Bride” horns from Finesmith, with the veil made of branches. For the jewelry as well I added some parts of the amazing Finesmith jewelry, the “Shiraz” earrings and necklace in onyx.

The “Diavolo” hair from Vanity hair was the best match in name and style to complete my dark “Femme Fatale”. For the skin I was wearing my new and updated “Wicca Lumee Lunette” skin from Silken Moon. Malicia Python, owner and designer of Silken Moon, will kill me, if I do not add that the green tone, that my skin got came from my windlight settings as the skin itself carries the popular lumee tone of her new Eclipse skin line 😉 .

Buccaneer – New Expressive Male Poses at Wicca’s Wardrobe!

Not too long ago I had the honor to sponsor the opening show of the Autumn Symphony shows of Solo Evane with my poses. It was the first time I was asked and so I was quite a bit nervous 😉 . Usually I make poses I need for my own pictures of blog, so this was something new to me, especially the male poses. It was a challenge for me to think of expressive and interesting poses for the guys and it was fun as well to make them 🙂 .

The “Buccaneer Set” is one of the new male sets I made for my little store Wicca’s Wardrobe. I wanted to make some poses that are not just simple runway poses since I love it if the poses are expressing something. That is as well the reason for the name. A Buccaneer for me is a strong and powerful guy, so I thought the name matches the poses ;). Thank you Malicia for the help with the name 😉 .

I am very happy and grateful that my brother Dahriel accepted, as I asked him if he would pose for the vendor. He made a kick ass avantgarde styling, what underlined the intention of the poses so well. Thank you for that and your time bro!

I recently moved my store to be together with Dahriel and Malicia. Wicca’s Wardrobe at the Couturier’s Docks!

Today’s post is very special for me 🙂 . I was invited to be part of the Couturier’s Docks with my new brand Wicca’s Wardrobe. Some of you might know already that I started making poses for my blog posts and pictures. At some point people asked me why I would not sell them… and so my store Wicca’s Wardrobe was born 😉 . I thought a lot of what kind of poses I would like to do, as I have many dear friends who make poses and as well there is a lot of pose stores on the grid already. So I decided not to make only runway poses. I wanted to do ‘Poses for Purposes’. Sets of 5 poses who always are made for a special purpose, like huge hats or cool handbags. Tha’s as well the reason, why all my pose sets carry kinda funny names as they always kinda tell what they are made for.

You can imagine, how happy and excited I was. when I got asked if I would like to be part of the Couturier’s Docks of Mila Tatham. The Couturier’s Docks are a special place at SaliMar, where all those amazing and popular designers sell special items, which are limited to 50 pieces each. For me it was – and is – a huge honor that I may be part of that. I wanted to create a very special set for this event.

It was kinda fate that, at the time when I was thinking what set I could make, I met a very dear friend of mine. Sazzy Nirpaw, in the past she was one of my students and over the time a wonderful friendship developed. She popped in my IMs and asked me if I could take a look at one of her stylings. She always dresses very classy and elegant but never boring what I really admire. As I saw her in that fabulous outfit an idea was born in my head for a pose set. I asked her if she would have some time to work with me on a pose set, that would go with her amazing outfit. She agreed and so we started working. After some time the “Elegant Evening Set” was born 🙂 . Thank you so much Sazzy for your time and patience!

The “Elegant Evening Set” is a special set for… like the name says.. an elegant evening outfit, that as well works with a little clutch. The poses are not only safe and nice, they have some edges that let every fashionista shine with pride and self-esteem.
