Waiting for you…

BDSM or Fetish… for many that instantly leads to perverts… but it isn’t about being pervert at all and many tried some things that will fall under this topic without even knowing or realizing!

I was thinking a long time about what it was, that pushed BDSM in the dark corner for so many people when they first hear about it. Probably it was the media and/or movie industry that did the most part to it, as you only read about cruelty, pain and forced actions and the typical backyard Domina that cracks the whip on some poor, nerdy, greasy and sleazy male in an inflated way of showing her power. To be honest, that is something I do not need or want to see either – but what ever floats your boat :p

But did you ever read about it in the newspaper when someone covered her/his partners eyes with a satin cloth or pinned his/her arm to the bed with her hands while kissing his/her body? Certainly not, as that doesn’t have the publicity impact of the first scenario I named above.

Lets see what Wikipedia says about BDSM:

BDSM is a variety of often erotic practices or roleplaying involving bondage, discipline, dominance and submission, sadomasochism, and other related interpersonal dynamics. Given the wide range of practices, some of which may be engaged in by people who do not consider themselves as practising BDSM, inclusion in the BDSM community or subculture is usually dependent upon self-identification and shared experience.

The BDSM initialism.

The term “BDSM” is first recorded in a Usenet posting from 1991, and is interpreted as a combination of the abbreviations B/D (Bondage and Discipline), D/s (Dominance and submission), and S/M (Sadism and Masochism). BDSM is now used as a catch-all phrase covering a wide range of activities, forms of interpersonal relationships, and distinct subcultures. BDSM communities generally welcome anyone with a non-normative streak who identifies with the community; this may include cross-dressers, body modification enthusiasts, animal roleplayers, rubber fetishists, and others.

Activities and relationships within a BDSM context are often characterized by the participants taking on complementary, but unequal roles; thus, the idea of informed consent of both the partners is essential. The terms “submissive” and “dominant” are often used to distinguish these roles: the dominant partner (“dom”) takes psychological control over the submissive (“sub”). The terms “top” and “bottom” are also used: the top is the instigator of an action while the bottom is the receiver of the action. The two sets of terms are subtly different: for example, someone may choose to act as bottom to another person, for example, by being whipped, purely recreationally, without any implication of being psychologically dominated by them, or a submissive may be ordered to massage their dominant partner. Despite the bottom performing the action and the top receiving they have not necessarily switched roles.

The abbreviations “sub” and “dom” are frequently used instead of “submissive” and “dominant”. Sometimes the female-specific terms “mistress”, “domme” or “dominatrix” are used to describe a dominant woman, instead of the gender-neutral term “dom”. Individuals who can change between top/dominant and bottom/submissive roles—whether from relationship to relationship or within a given relationship—are known as switches. The precise definition of roles and self-identification is a common subject of debate within the community.

[Wikipedia, 2019]

If you read the Wikipedia excerpt, you will think that sounds like everything and nothing, but that is exactly what it is! It can be everything and it can be just a tiny little thing and it doesn’t always involve pain or any “pervert” action. BDSM has so many different shades and fields that you would have a hard time to name them all and the same it is for Fetish… if you look at Wikipedia what it has to say about fetish… you even have to decide first in what way you wanna look at it as you get the choices Anthropological, Sexual, Arts and Business. If you google for the definition of Fetish you will find something like:  If someone has a fetish, they have an unusually strong liking or need for a particular object or activity.” or “If you say that someone has a fetish for doing something, you disapprove of the fact that they do it very often or enjoy it very much.” [Collins Dictionary]

According to that, Fetish doesn’t even have to be a sexual thing only! I have a friend, that cannot leave her home with having 2 different colored socks on. She is not menatlly ill or sick – that’s her fetish if you want to see it like that. Another of my friends has to have jeans from a certain brand since he is 20, he would never ever wear different jeans – that’s his fetish.

Certainly we use the word fetish in a sexual way as well, but what is wrong about wearing a blindfold in bed here and there and get seduced by someone? What is wrong by restricting movements a little bit, to get more intense feelings as long as both agree on it?

Maybe that is the issue for many as they think, a Dominant/Top can do everything what he wants to his submissive/bottom. But exactly that is the thing… they only can do as much as the submissive allows, if you follow the code called SSC – Safe, Sane & Consensual, which means that everything is based on safe activities, that all participants be of sufficiently sound/sane mind to consent, and that all participants do consent. It is mutual consent that makes a clear legal and ethical distinction between BDSM and such crimes as sexual assault or domestic violence.

What is pervert about something, that all the involved parties do like and if they do not bother or harm anyone or anything outside the partnership or group? I do not have an answer to that and that is why I do not call BDSM or Fetish pervert at all – there is other things in the world happening that we do hear and read in the news everyday, that fit way more to that term in my opinion.

All of us do have sexual dreams and desires and only some of us will be able to live their dreams. Maybe it is jealousy, if others do call those dreams and desires pervert, as they can and or do not want to live theirs, but even that is fine as I just said before – what ever floats your boat.

I do think it is great, if you can have a nibble of “forbidden” fruit and have some dreams or desires come true. Some of them may feel better as dreams, but you will never know if you did not try.My first fetish experience was, when one of my ex-boyfriends (I was 16, he was 18) tied my hands to the top of the bed with a satin scarf and caressed me slow and gently. It wasn’t harsh, it wasn’t painful, we did not even have sex in that moment – it just was a complete new experience for me. From that moment on I wanted to know more about it – fun part of that story… my ex-partner didn’t 😉

I am a strong woman, I worked/work in a men dominated world called music business, teach at a school and still I had the desire of D/s relationship for a long time – even before I really did look more into BDSM and Fetish, I loved the idea of a gentleman that opens the door, decides the menu when we go out for dinner and basically carries his girl “on his arms” (in German that is kinda a quote for if a girl is precious for his man). D/s doesn’t mean that the Top just shouts orders and the sub runs accomplishing that… I was told that is called “Army” *snickers*

Maybe I can say, in a D/s relation ship, to me it feels like the sub is a precious gift for the Top, that he handles with care, love and all his abilities, so that it doesn’t get hurt, damaged or broken physical or psychological.

Even the belletristic and the movie world started to change the view about BDSM and Fetish. While in the 70s/80s ‘The Story of O’ and ‘Venus in Fur’ were two of the most popular examples, in the 90s/2000s we have ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’, ‘Secretary’, ‘Crossfire’ or the ’80 Days’ series, which give a complete different view about the topic, even make it more presentable to the public. Maybe that helps to drag this kind of stories, movies, dreams and desires out of the dark corners, out of the dirty backyards and shadows that the past pushed them into. Maybe the world is more ready nowadays to allow those things to happen or at least accept, that they are happening without pointing a finger and calling it bad things only.

As we can see in Second Life, the BDSM and Fetish communities are huge and many enjoy things they maybe cannot do in real life for various reasons. It seems to be something that attracts a lot of people and still many of them need to hide it from their friends and family, which is sad in my view. If they do enjoy it so much, if it is part of them, it is part of the great person that all of them know. I am sure many would love to share their experiences with people close to them, many would love to show their collar they are wearing without being judged in a bad way. But they are still damned to hide that even in Second Life, for example in modeling, as they are still being avoided if they are connected to such “pervert” things. I am not saying they should run around, shouting it over the grid or bother each and everyone with their experiences or put titles above their heads – non of the people I know ever did that in real life either – but where is the problem, if they do have a PG sounding statement in their profiles about having a Master or Mistress, what is wrong with a picture on Flickr wearing a collar or cuffs? With all the non BDSM or Fetish looking porn and non artistic nude pictures on Flickr – seriously a artistic and classic looking lingerie picture being bound or blindfolded would matter??? I do dislike all the pictures where girls hold their pixel boobies into my face bluntly, for no other reason that clicks and likes, on Flickr way more than a tasteful Fetish picture…

I would love to hear your opinion about it – if you can or want to share yours, I will be happy if you put it in the comments 😉

The Graveyard In Our Heart

The Graveyard In Our Heart

“The graveyard is not the final resting place of our dear departed but an ephemeral repository of their remains. The real graveyard, however, is somewhere deep in our heart, where we can always visit them at any time of the day, talk about some unforgettable summers, or cry in solitude as if they were always there for us to stay. And should our twilight come, when we can no longer see the light of the day, some people dear to us will build a graveyard in their hearts. They will let us stay for a while or perhaps longer, as long as they continue to remember, but it does not matter anymore. What is comforting to know, no matter how tragic or tranquil our death may be, somewhere somehow someone will always build a sublime place for us to stay.”

Wicca & the Hungarian Horntail

Picture made for “A Harry Potter Coffee Table Book” (https://issuu.com/eclipsemagazinesl/docs/harry_potter_coffee_book)

I had the great pleasure to be part of a Harry Potter Coffee Table Book, hosted by Eclipse Magazine. The book is a photograph collection inspired by iconic scenes from the Harry Potter series and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Many amazing photographers and as well icons of mine contributed to the book and the more I felt honored and mega happy that Trouble asked me if I would be part as well.

I picked the “Harry in the first task versus the Hungarian Horntail” from the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire episode, after Trouble said we just should take the scenes as inspiration and I could be a female as well.

I love dragons and so that scene was right down my alley. I had something in mind, that I wanted to do and it turned out way harder than I thought. I never experimented with fire like that before and as well to find the right angle wasn’t as easy as I imagined. The next problem I came across was all my dragons had some poses but none worked out in the angle I wanted to shoot – I nearly lost my nerves about it *snickers* One of my old dragins from Manticore finally did what I wanted!

After some time – after I pulled out several hairs, bit fingernails and cursed like mad – it looked like, as it would come to a good end 😉 Gone where the thoughts of giving up and getting frustrated – I did it! At least I really love what I could come up with for such an amazing book of all those incredible photographers!

Thanks a lot Trouble, for that amazing opportunity!

Once again you challenged me – Once again I learned some new techniques!

In just 7 Days…

I don’t want no dissension, just dynamic tension
I’m a muscle fan
In just seven days, I can make ‘me’ a man

[Rocky Horror Show]

The Reanimator Gacha from DRD and their hunt and the Stein hunting, inspired me for this post…

I already had a “Dr. Stein grows funny Creatures” post not too long ago and today, I would like to make a continuation of that thought 😉

What about, if one of his creatures desires company? In German we have a phrase “Is the cat of the house, the mice dance on the table”. I do not know what this phrase is called in English, the dictionary gave me something like “When the cat is away, the mice will play.” Anyways, I guess you get my point… when the doctor is away… I can do studies and practice for my evil plan. Maybe you will discover the story I wanted to tell via my pictures 🙂

The whole set is built from the “The Reanimator” gacha by DRD while all the poses I used for this post were made by Satomi Masukami for her brand Foxcity.

I had to find a look and I wanted something cute, paired with some spooky horror. A longer time ago, I got the “Shattered Existence” applier from CURELESS [+]. I wanted to use it for such a long time, but never got a good chance for it – today was the day! When I had edited all those little staples on my face, neck and wrists, I looked at me and I have no clue why but instantly I had a school girl look in mind. The “Junko” dress from Bauhaus Movement was released longer ago, but it totally made the look I wanted. again I have to admit I do love to use older things again for my posts if they fit. I hate it, if I just try to twist and force a new release it into a picture, when it does not 100% fit. I know that many blogger struggle with deadlines and duties, but to me blogging is more than just stuff as much new releases in a post as you can. I want to create cool pictures and have fun while I am styling, building, or looking for sets and backgrounds. I get that new releases have to be posted in time to be perfect promotion, but sometimes things just do not go together and then I prefer to make more than just once post and showcase each item properly. My friend Shena Neox, as well designer and blogger manager for some popular brands, brought it on the point when she wrote a notice in a blogger group, that people should think about the brand they showcase and respect and reflect its style. In the end most designs end up in the main stores anyways and if I am not a blogger for a specific brand and just bought the items, I guess I can give them a second time promotion as they won’t get dusty in store 😉

So I had a schoolgirl outfit, some scary moments with the cool “Scattered Existence” and with the “Thauron” ears from Eclipse Art Studio, I added my little touch of fantasy and even a little more cuteness to the whole look 😉

The cool and lightly messy looking hair was made by no.match hair for the past round of COSMOPOLITAN, but I am sure you will find it at the no.match main store by now.

The amazing rings and nails – I guess you figured already – certainly were made by FORMANAILS. Who else could do such delicate, perfect shaped and ornamented hand accessories, if not Ivi Bing. This time I really cammed close into my hands as I was curious how she makes it, that all those little shapes are crip and sharp edged and not blurry and distorted. What I found was a super high-poly created, awesome shaped art piece that shows Ivi’s incredible skills. No wonder that she became so popular and so many love her little art pieces 😉

Coming back to my little story… this time I was not able to finish my studies before I heard the doctor coming back up the stairs to his lab. I quickly removed all the evidence of my secret trials and hided again in a corner of the lab, hiding a few tears that would discover me an my little experiments. He will go out again… some when… and then… then… I will try harder!

Lost Paradise – What do you believe in?

I am not uberly religious, but some themes, which as well are shown in arts again and again, do catch my attention sometimes. I more believe in nature and the power of even that, instead of the church for example. Religion or the believe in god, spirits and ghosts are something very personal and we all have different experiences with that, so I would never ever try to convince anyone of my own opinions about that. I do believe in the thought, that energy never goes away completely (Conservation of Energy) and always gets transitioned into something else 😉

For me tings like the Wiccan cult – or some older forms of nature based believes – are way easier to believe in than god or even the church. There was a time, where I did believe in god and as well the church, but that did end with the death of my father when I was 7. He died because of stomach cancer and all I wanted to know – when I was 7 – was “Why?”. Why would that god, that I did believe in, allow that a disease would be able to take my father from me, when I still needed him so much. There was a group for kids at the church, which I was attending every week and after my father passed away I wanted answers. They had none besides the one the church always uses, if they can’t explain something – “The paths of God are inscrutable”. Tell that a 7 years old girl, which is kinda ripped apart – not really working out well. That was my first disruption I had with that. Later, when I did grow up and started to try to get to the bottom of everything I was told and what I learned, it became even worse… I questioned why god would let it happen, that in a war innocent babies get killed – after I they tried to convince me, that war is nothing god does, but the humans as all have their own ability to make decisions – babies who can’t even walk, talk, speak nor make any kind of deliberately decisions.

I read the bible – more than once, as I wanted answers and I wanted to understand – and the more I read, the more I again questioned so many things… for example, how can I believe in a god that breaks his own ten commandments in the bible? How can I believe in a god, that allows humans to murder in his name? I was taught god is good! I learned I never will get answers more than “God must have his plan” or like I said before “His ways are inscrutable”- which was not enough for me, as I always want to go to the bottom of things. Maybe that is the reason why I personally prefer science and nature over religion itself.

Like I stated at the beginning, for me it is way easier to believe in the power of nature. Nature is very rational and there are proves, that some things do happen as we see it everyday. There is stuff between heaven and earth, not all will notice – or not all will/want to understand. So everyone has the freedom to decide, what he or she wants to believe in Germany, which is something I highly value. I know it is not a matter of course everywhere in the world sadly.

What I had in mind for this pictures, was a modern version of Eve, paired with the believe in natural powers and the Wiccan doctrine – Something nature connected 🙂 (I still won’t believe, that the female should have been the only reason, that locked out the human species from paradise 😉 )

I LOVE the creativity of CURELESS [+] / CUREMORE, especially their gachas that contain those amazing, special and unusual/artistic torsos. This time it was the “Lost Paradise” gacha, which drew my attention. The gacha does not only contain wearable parts, but as well some cool creations for the scenery. The trees, which come with a HUD for the bones and the apples, the snakes in all colors and shapes and the apples on the ground are a perfect scenery. I wanted all kind of warm colors for the set and with the HUDs it was really easy to achieve 🙂 I added some other things to my look – you all know I really love mix and match. I had some amazing parts, which I could imagine would fit so well, like the hand branches from .Drastic. or the cool claws from E.A.Studio. Iam not a fan of ling empty legs – I stated that in past posts already – so I wanted something wrapped around my legs and certainly no high heels 😉 I wanted flat shoes… but I do not own many of those, as I rarely shop for flat shoes besides sneakers, heavy boots and those kind of style. So I was so happy, when I found the “Charro Flats” still sitting in my inventory. I know I got them at an event and then I never had the right look to use them – until today!

Again I was able to just play with stuff I got over the time and did not have to follow any deadlines. Sometimes I really do need that, as much as I enjoy blogging, sometimes I need my freedom. It is different, when you blog for a designer. where you have items you want to showcase in the focus in a very clear way, or if you just fool around with things. I really do enjoy both and I need both for my happiness 😉 It feels like 2 completely different challenges to me and I do enjoy both!

Nude or Naked? – A Tribute to Flora Borsi

The past weeks/months I was allowed to be part of the latest VISIONAIRE batch. VISIONAIRE offers classes/workshops for inworld photography. When I first told a few friends, that I am excited about VISIONAIRE, they asked me why I would want to go there. I would already do pictures for such a long time and as well, I would work with Photoshop and could do PS tutorials instead.

I tried to tell them, that I am working on my own for such a long time and that I kinda felt stuck in my own world with my pictures. I love going to schools and workshops and learn new things or even get pointed out some things that I might have forgotten over the time. I do not know how to describe it, but it is like even if you know things, you can forget about them so easy and with classes and workshops you get a sweet reminder. Sometimes you learn something, you cannot use it right away and then you forget about it, even if it would be very useful for something else. Sometimes you try things and you do not like it at all and feel overchallenged at the moment you practice, but after some time you might be able to work it out, but you forgot about. And in the end it is always great if you get some critique on your work, that most of the time will encourage you to try better in my view.

I was very excited when we met the first time – I nearly was nervous, because the classes were going to be in voice and I am always afraid, to not able to follow properly if it comes to technical terms and stuffs. Soon I realized, I am not the only non native speaker, which made it a little easier. When I started to cam around, I again got scared seeing some big names beside me and I nearly fell for the same weird question I was asked “What they are doing here, they are so good!” :p But since I had my own reasons to do the course, I scratched that thought quickly 😉

The classes, even if they took hours, were awesome. For many weeks, Sundays were completely dedicated to that chatty, funny and passionated people and I do not regret one minute. I have to admit, I felt strange sometimes and again the old discussion “it is because you are unique – it is because you are special” came up and I wanted to quit. I hate that term!!! There is times where you just want to be one of many and not the one, that stands out because of weird thoughts and craziness. I remember one Sunday, where we were supposed to look at pictures to find the spot in the picture, where our eyes where pulled at and then explain why. You start to get frustrated, if your eyes mostly get attracted by other things than the rest of the group sees…

I really had moments, where I thought I am just too stupid, or too weird to understand/see things. So I started to remain silent – Certainly Wren and Koko caught that and asked me why and told me that this would not be the solution. Since I am not a kid, I was aware of that and I tried to explain my problem. Wren was very understanding and I have to say she was so striving to calm me down and back into the ‘chat mode’. It took me a week to get back on track, but since we had fun homeworks all week, it was easy to step back into the group – they made it super easy for me too and did not even bring it up again.

Home work always sounds bad, but in case of VISIONAIRE they were amazing as the challenged me every week and go me out of my ‘same procedure like always’ mode, which kinda crept into my photography habit. It sometimes dragged me out if my comfort zone and made me re-think a lot of things not only technique wise, but as well composition wise 🙂

It was interesting to get critique and opinions for the home work every week. Sometimes I did not even think about things, that others saw in my pictures. Again the old term “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” made its point 🙂 Even the never ending story “Why this picture of mine got so many faves while the other – which I personally like so much more – got less likes” got touched and Koko had some very interesting ideas to that subject, which again gave me a new perspective – Did you ever think about, if you do pictures with male or female gaze, or what even would be the difference on that in terms of art and photography?

Another great part was the using of glow, lights and projectors. While I hate glow, I always liked using projectors and lights but I never was able to really use them to their full beauty. I normally used 1 or 2 lights or projectors, not thinking about the fact that I could have more to highlight certain parts of the body, even certain spots of the whole scenery. In the past lights and projectors were my personal “OMG that never does what it should” overchallenging situations and I usually gave up on them. BUT if you have a homework… you damn try :p.

In one of the classes, when our home work was to create a portrait. Linda Reddevil, did one being inspired by Flora Borsi. I saw some of her pictures already, but I never was familiar with that artist. When Linda brought her up, I googled again and was so impressed that I wanted to to a picture inspired by Flora Borsi.

It was luck, that to the same time Jian has their amazing flamingos at the FLF and so I took it as a sign and started to work on my idea. While I was doing the shoot, my mind went back to a subject we had at our VISIONAIRE meetings as well. A discussion about an ongoing trend in SL or on SL Flickr pictures – nudity. It seems if you throw and press your private parts into peoples faces, you get a lot of favorites on Flickr. I never was against nudity in arts in general, as long as it was done with class and not only or all of the time. There is much more, what can appeal sexy, than just simple show-offs in a crude way. Does it really have to show ‘everything’ all of them time? Is sometimes not just a basis idea the key to let the imagination fly? I remember very well a scene of movie, where people still going on about, if you see something or not. The interrogation scene in Basic Instinct, which is probably the most famous scene of that movie. The moment where Sharon Stone switching her one leg over the other, so many people did rewind that moment, to see if she would have panties on or not and we still do not know, because we saw… nothing, while the imagination was taking off.

Maybe it is because I am a German. I know it is not everywhere like this, but in Germany, if you strip naked on a public media source (internet, magazines, Youtube, etc.), you need back some more attention to your person. In 90% of the time it is done by people, who suffer from fading popularity or fading fame. Before they become an extinct star on the sky of fame, they do that as a last try to get back into social media and in the heads of the people. For a while it works, but it basically for most is just to protract, what anyways will come and they just win a certain period of time before it happens. That is one of the reasons, why I never even thought about having my boobies all over my Flickr, as well I never had the desire to share that with everyone, even if it is just pixels. To me nude does NOT have to be naked all the time 😉

With Flora Borsi in the back of my head, I started experimenting with my naked body and the flamingos, how I could show everything and nothing the same time. Since I even wanted to try again to draw hair, I even was bold. I only had changed my lashes to something unusual, while my whole body and head was completely nude and natural. They key was a pose I got from Falbala Fairey called “Crouched 6”. It previously was a gift for a store and now it is back in her own store for sale. With that pose and pushing the flamingos in the right position I only needed a pillow to sit on and I was done.

Drawing hair still is a huge, exciting and time consuming project for me and again I was not yet even close to be satisfied with what I tried, so I again did lend me some instant painted hair to work with from Rayne Morgan aka Nina Rosario (in SL), only added a few strands of my own on those spots, that did not quite fit to my pose or avatar shape and colored it to match the flamingos.

I had a lot of fun working on the concept and the pictures and I hope I did make sense with my words as well. I am not just a prude German, I just prefer artistic and tasteful nude over just blunt views on others private parts on social media 😉

Special thanks to Linda Reddevil for making me looking deeper into Flora Borsi’s art again and VISIONAIRE for their amazing course!

The Price of a Wish

For the last issue of the Kaleidos Magazine I was allowed to make a picture based story – idk how you really call that –  but I always had fun with little stories or traditionals paired with pictures. I have to admit I love reading blogs myself and I always loved to read fun stories or reviews or little stories 😉 So I certainly was super happy, when Sam asked me if I would like to do something like that for the Kaleidos Magazine.

If you want to see the full magazine, please take a look here: https://view.joomag.com/kaleidos-number-3/0882441001496132389

I hope you enjoy my little story as much as I did when I wrote it and made all the pictures 😉

The Price of a Wish

We all heard the stories about the Yeti, unicorns, chupacabras or even Nessie. Many people claimed to have seen them, but nobody actually caught them. Rumors and stories about these mythical beings that had been told for many generations.

But now in the year 2017 something strange is going on deep in the mystic forest, deep down in Ireland. People found foot prints, first they thought it might be a hoofed animal but now it changed – People claimed to have seen a mysterious wild creature, yet female looking , she’s got a light, pale skin, horns, wild hair and hooves. This creature must have been good at hiding because nobody was ever able to catch her. Rumors spread around vastly that the one that tames this beast will have all their wishes fulfilled.

Many people failed at trying to find her, a lot of people never return from their adventure. But one day a brave, young man decided to try his luck to find this being, he was laughed at and mocked, people took bets on him – whether he would come back or not.

One day this mysterious creature roamed around the forest trying to find something to eat, after all she was really gentle and in peace with the nature. She wouldn’t harm any animals or humans. She loved to eat nuts and plants, but over the time she became sad, because people tried to chase her and her family and now she was the last one left of her species.

The friendly beast took a brief break at a small lake, she didn’t feel any danger and unfortunately wasn’t aware that a man was sitting in the bushes near to her. She hummed a little song and thought about her joyful, peaceful life in the forest when suddenly the man jumped out of the darkness with his sword drawn.

She stopped breathing for a moment and her life flashed before her eyes, she thought she would end up like all of her family and ancestors. After coming out from her daze, her thoughts clearer, she jumped off and tried defending herself but could not find a way to fight back. She started galloping, she ran and ran, her heart beating frantically, she just wanted to carry on with her life, even though she would be the last one alive of her kind.

The man gave chase. She looked back hoping she lost him among the dense forest but the color drained from her as she saw him still following her with sword in hand. She trotted faster through the undergrowth, but then, she stumbled over a protruding tree root and fell. Her ankle hurting, she couldn’t find a way to stand up again the pain was hard to bare but with her will and adrenaline she got back onto her feet, but it was too late, the man was too close now and as she turned, she ran directly into the sword he held behind her. A surge of pain ran through her body and golden tears were running down her cheeks as this man towered over to finish his prey.

She felt her power vanish and broke down to the ground, feeling the smooth and damp grass of the morning underneath her. Her last view was the male, standing above her, his hands raised, enthralled about his luck and victory. In the moment of her death he would loudly call his wishes out in the forest, like the rumors said and like it always had been, when one of her species was murdered.

She closed her eyes, the last golden tear ran down her cheek, her breathing waning more and more going silent until she finally died on the forest floor, kissed by the few last sunbeams that guided her over to where all her ancestors waited for her.
