MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Greece 2012 by Azul & Alienbear

Yesterday Mami Jewell, owner and brilliant designer of Azul, released 2 more Miss Virtual World 2012 gowns. I am very happy that I am allowed to showcase the stunning MVW 2012 Evening gown of Miss Greece 2012 – Miss Calypso Oliphaunt. This beautiful and aerial gown is another piece of art out of the hand of Mami Jewell.

For Miss Greece 2012, Mami Jewell decided to go with the traditional colors blue and white for the evening gown. The front has a very deep neckline and the aerial fabric caresses your upper body with every step you take.

The back view as well is very attractive. The deep back neckline gives a very sexy touch as well to all the elegance 🙂 The “Calypso” gown you can find at the Azul Mainstore as well in a few more colors 🙂

The wonderful jewelry was made by Alienbear Gupte, genius designer of Alienbear. Alienbear always stood for high-class and very elegant jewelry. Since I started modeling, Alienbear always was on the top for jewelry design. That she still is there shows the amazing “Calypso” formal set, that she made for Miss Greece 2012.

Alienbear used the deep front neckline of the “Calypso” gown for an awesome long necklace that ends with the neck line of the gown just right before the belly. The upper part includes one pice on the left side th looks like a part of a laurel wreath  in gold and the right side again repeats the greek colors black and blue. The bottom end of the necklace repeats the same shape that we can see for the earrings. A wonderful set for a greek princess 🙂

Wicca’s Wardrobe: Burlesque

Today I would like to tell  little story again that this pictures, made by Daron Brandeis, have attached. The first picture, was the entry for the BOSL covercontest and was choosen into the Top 5 on Frolic Mills flickr stream. Sadly it did not make the cover but never the less it really was fun 🙂

I already blogged more then once the great new corset brand NV Corsetry. Their corsets are really amazing and I felt really honored as I was chosen to be part of the BOSL fashion spread of NV Corsetry. I already blogged many different styles with the corsets of NV Corsetry and for sure the burlesque theme was kinda bullseye for a styling with those corsets. In the burlesque aera, corsets were very popular and you could not think any styling without them nearly. I would like to showcase the stylings I made for the BOSL fashion spread, as I really had fun doing them and it shows another possibility for wearing the amazing corsets from NV Corsetry.

For the first look I got the “Ordained” corset and the short body from NV Corsetry and for the rest of the look I had my freedom to choose what I wanted, according to the challenge to create a burlesque outfit. I roamed through google and saw different pictures of amazing burlesque stylings, but one got stuck in my mind. It was a relativly modern picture but the girl had combined fishnet tights with cool boots and a litte hat. I remembered the “Rosenkavalier” hat from Rozoregalia and it matched perfect to what I wanted to go for. Fishnet tights I found on marketplace and for sure feathers and the long cigarette holder could not be missing. Them I found at !dM deviousBeauty out of their ‘Fetish Cabaret’ collection. I like the little details so I added one of those velvet chokers I saw on so many pics with the little rose in the front and the gloves of the Betty outfit from Angel Dessous. The awesome “Burlesque” boots, made by [GOS] made the perfect finish for Look No. 1 🙂

Look No. 2 was not that easy as the “Wrath” outfit from NV Corsetry comes with a long black latex suit. Latex was not that popular and known in the times of the burlesque aera. So I had to think harder for this look to make it work. First I slipped into my red BAX ankle boots. as red and black was used often for burlesque in the past. Then I made my way back to !dm deviousBeauty and took another look on their ‘Fetish Cabaret’ line. I found one outfit that had interesting huge red feathers for the hips, waist and head and as well a red feather boa that came with matching poses to wear it. The black “Wisper” boa I took from Miamai out of the ‘inMutatio’ collection. The 2 huge black fans were provided by Maya Paris.

MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Iceland 2012 by Faster Pussycat & Finesmith

The evening gown for Miss Iceland 2012 came out of the hand of Honey Bender, owner and fabulous designerof Faster Pussycat . Honey, for me always stood for extravagant and extraordinary with her designs. And she stayed  herself true and created a wonderful evening gown for Miss Aphrodite Brianna, Miss Iceland 2012. The purple gown can be worn in different versions for the skirt. I chose the one that was originally worn on the MVW 2012 runway. The huge skirt adds a very elegant touch and all the amazing golden decorations on the gown really made this gown something that stood out. The texturing and the choice of the prims again shows very clear the sign of Honey Bender. All the sequins that decorate the upper skirt… shiny and in many shades of purple… simply amazing. You can find the “Aphrodite” gown at the Faster Pussycat Mainstore with all its amazing skirt versions 🙂

The jewelry was made by yula Finesmith. The “My Girl” set really was made to match this gown. No big necklace but all those filigree and little extras like the Eye decoration at the left eye, the ring and the amazing headpiece complete this ensemble to a perfect set as well 🙂 The whole set is menu driven and colorchangeable for the noble metals and the gemstones. MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Japan 2012 by Azul

The beautiful and stunning dress for Miss Japan 2012 as well comes out of the house of Azul. Miss Tyako Coage, our lovely Miss Japan 2012 made her way to Mami Jewell, as many do every year, as she is one of the most respected designer for incredible evening gowns. Her skills for designing and texturing are so amazing that it is no wonder so many girls try to get an Azul gown for the Miss Virtual World competitions.

The “Tyako” gown is a very filigree and elegant gown that show perfectly that simplicity can be the key for beauty. The white satin looking fabric of the gown is beautiful highlighted with shadows and lights. The ruffles add even more elegance to the whole look and the back of the dress has a stunning deep neckline what ads even a very sexy touch. MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Ireland 2012 by Azul

The amazing gown for Miss Ireland 2012 was made by Azul. Mami Jewell, owner and designer of Azul, again surprised the Sl world with one of her stunning and elegant creations for a MVW competition. She made Miss Saleena Hax, Miss Ireland 2012, such an incredible elegant gown that she must have had turned heads on the Miss Virtual World 2012 runway.

The dark green combined with the intensive gold gives an extra elegant and sophisticated touch. All the ruffles that decorate the dark green satin just give you the imagination of how much work there must be behind the scenes. The gown has a deep neckline in the front what gives much room for awesome jewelry. The skirt itself is partwise decorated with a sheet lace covered by little silver shining gems. The long satin gloves complete the gown and it’s very elegant look. MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Monaco 2012 by Tres Beau

Our Miss Monaco 2012, Miss Vivienne Darcy, was allowed to walk this lovely piece of gold in representing the second smallest country of the world. Monaco as well is the second smallest monarchy in the world and the most densely populated country in the world. From all the news papers and TV reports we know that the rich and beautiful live in Monaco with all their yachts, motor boats and expensive lifestyle. According to that Kimmera Madison, owner and designer of Tres Beau, designed this incredible golden gown for Miss Monaco 2012. The basic dress is made with so awesome skills that you really can see the golden shine what seems not that easy, as gold and silver are two of the most difficult colors to work with I was told. The huge prim parts on the side and in the back add even more elegance to the whole dress.

First I was thinking about huge and super sophisticated jewelry but then… I did not want to drag any attention of the gown. So I searched a bit and found an awesome set of Kunglers Extra, that I got not too long ago. MVW 2012: National Gown for Nicaragua 2012 by Champagne! Sparkling Couture

For Miss Nicaragua 2012 of the this year Miss Virtual World challenge, Enzo Champagne made a very sweet outfit. Very colorful and with so many little details. Miss Shantal Gravois was the lucky Miss Nicaragua 2012, who was allowed to showcase this amazing design on the MVW 2012 runway.

The huge dress is decorated with some typical items on the bottom and the texture itself gives a very typical colorful overall look. The mixture of the colored layers and prims is an amazing contrast to the white lace parts you can find on the top and the skirt. MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Turkey 2012 by Tres Beau

Today I would like to show case the incredible national costume of Miss Turkey 2012, Miss Xandrah Sciavo. With this amazing firework of textures, prims, fabrics and colors, Kimmera Madison worked out an art work for Tres Beau. Again Kimmera proved that she really takes it serious if models come and ask her for the national costumes for Miss Virtual World. She takes a great effort to research the typical elements and colors of the country she makes the dress for. If you google about traditional outfits of Turkey, you will find many designs that come very close to what Kimmera created. The colors, the shape of the prims and the combination of laced, sheer and opaque parts… super awesome. If you take a look on all the ornaments that decorate this stunning dress… the little chain parts and decorations at the belt, the wonderful chest part with the coins that are made as prim parts, you only can imagine how long Kimmera sat on this piece of art. The head-piece as well is part of the outfit with the beautiful decoration at the right front side. Talking of chains and coins, the jewelry of this great outfit as well is part of it if you purchase it at Tres Beau. Kimmera as well made the effort to create the perfect matching jewelry to this outfit. The cute earrings with the little bells as well are typical for the country and it’s belly dancers 😉 The huge necklace combines gems and noble metals with a leather line in an amazing way. Again we can see, that Kimmera really has an eye for the detail. This wonderful evening gown for Miss Canada 2012, Miss Sazzy Oh, again comes out of the house of Tres Beau. In a total thrilling and attention seeking pink this elegant gown turns heads no matter what. The whole design is a firework of design and texturing. Kimmera Madison, owner and designer of Tres Beau, again shows her skills and abilities. She always puts in so much love for details and perfect texturing in all of her designs, that you just can imagine how long it takes to make such a wonderful gown. The combination of smooth satin looking fabrics and the glitter and glimmer texture of the bodice and the skirt layer,just lets every girl shine like a princess. The wonderful light pink gloves underline the elegant, royal style and this gown really made a point on the MVW 2012 runway I guess 😉 The high neck part as well adds even more sophisticated highlights and the open front of the neck part allows wonderful jewelry to complete your look. MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Ireland 2012 by Champagne! Sparkling Couture

The wonderful gown for Miss Ireland 2012 was myde by Enzo Champagne, owner and designer of Champagne! Sparkling Couture. Miss Saleena Hax, our lovely Miss Ireland 2012 got a gorgeous stong light green gown, with lots of amazing and traditional details to walk down the great runway of the Miss Virtual Wold 2012 contest. The beautiful rainbow in the back is made as a part of the outfit, as well the little pot of gold you are supposed to find at the end of it, like the fairytales say. The shoes are delivered with the outfit as well and they go perfect with all the little decorations you find on the dress. The collar carries a huge back piece of tendrils and little flowers and the typical cross makes the top center of them.
