One week to go, then I finally have holidays – just one more week… *dances around*
With all the new jobs and Covid-Numbers are growing again like mad, my real life went upside down and my time for Second Life became really limited. I hope I can be online more constant again, after the holidays now that the jobs got some “routine” and are not anymore so time intense.
I had a little girly-goth moment when I did the pictures for todays post… I have to admit, I really enjoy that sweet and soft Gaia head from LeLUTKA sometimes *winks*
It is nice to have a little selections of different heads and play different characters – that gives me a lot more freedom for different styles and looks without letting Wicca loose her character.
These days it seems I need some kind of complete freedom or looks, styles and picture ideas. Maybe that is the reason why I do experiment a lot with a few of the other amazing LeLUTKA heads and as well with some of the BeSpoke heads – yes, I do have done a few with those, too, that I will post soon. I do not know if that makes sense, but over the years I developed Wicca into a character with her own twists and edges. I mean in the end it is me and I am the one operating her, but she is just once side of the real person behind the screen. Most of us are in Second Life to spend our free time here with fun, excitement, creativity and freedom to do what ever we want as long as we stay legal and law abiding. It does feel wrong to put Wicca into a ballgown ir have her sweet and girly looking, especially because of her trademarks. The silver eyes, being browless, having all those scars she got over the past years and all those special body mods – I just donut want to loose that on her anymore. I was modeling in Second Life for so long and changed my avatar to all kind of looks, but Liam tired of that and I like Wicca how she looks now, so why I should change her, just because someone doesn’t like what she is? It is my avatar, my personal vision. So only me has the right to make or suggest changes on her. I never really thought about that and it never felt as important to me than the past few month – maybe because RL put so much stress and instability on me, I wanted something that only me has the right to choose? But yes that is one of my personal proposals for 2022 and on going 😉
For today I would like to drag your attention to a few amazing designs made by my favorite creators. The amazing dress you can see on the pictures, was made by AsteroidBox. The “Zoya” dress is an amazing, short dress with a sweet little harness and waist corset on top. The HUD is the same as always for AsteroidBox and you get so many amazing choices to combine colors and patterns with the fatpack.
The “No_Books” hair is a cute, loose style from no.match and I guess I used the “Unicorn” color HUD with all the different pastel colors *laughs* , but for that special look it was just perfect. The “Farseer” glasses became to one of my favorite ones. I do love the squared glass and the ornamented temples a lot, they make them look very unique.
The amazing makeup and eyeshadow were made by a wonderful, creative Lady. She runs her own brand “Rubedo” for a few month now and you can find her all over the grid on the best events. What I love is her versatility and how she adapts her designs to various event themes without loosing her trademark. She works a lot with light and pastel colors – even if I sometimes would desire something deep saturated or darker shades – most of them I can make work with Wicca’s face, too.
I really enjoyed my sweet soft moment, but it will stay an exception – I do love Wicca the most and I do have no plans to change her look anytime soon 😉
