Mesh News from Prism!
We all know the awesomeness and problems of the new mesh clothing in SL 🙂 Many designers already released mesh clothing and it really is a wonderful possibility to let the avatar look with certain clothes come more real. No more silly knee angles, no more skirts that fall trough chairs if you sit on. The idea of mesh really is a great revolution, even if there has to be done much more work on still.Everyone that uses one of the mesh featured SL viewers, can wear mesh.
Prism now released their first mesh dress as well. A wonderful short dress that can be used in all kind of stylings you can think of. I decided to go for a kinda Rockabilly styling, because I really liked that with that dress ;). Journey included 3 different sizes of the dress and 2 different alpha layers to make it fit better. For mesh you cannot anymore edit the prims, when you wear them, so that different sizes really make sense and with 3 options you pretty much have a good chance to make it fit your shape. For this post I used the “London Leather” version of “Adele” and I am sure if you make your way to the Prism Mainstore you will find many more amazing colors and versions of the “Adele” dress 🙂 Dare to wear mesh :p

Ezura at the Festival of Sin
These days we have the wonderful Festival of Sin (LM to the Festival of Sin: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Diablo/138/119/72) going on in Second Life. One of Ezura’s contributions is the “The Sins Wrath”. The Festival of Sin happens the first time in SL and it is a lovely made place where a lot of SL’s top designers showcase special designs, some of their latest releases and old-time favourites. The place itself is worth a visit.
Ezura came up with a wonderful red gown that is the perfect picture of wrath, one of the 7 deadlies. A wonderful red and seductive gown with a mixture of lace and opaque textures in red. The basic of the gown is made in the new mesh technique, the prims on the sides and at the neck are normal non mesh prims and easy to adjust. The amazing red horns are as well part of the wonderful gown. For the hair I chose a combination of Urban Lutz and Baiastice. Urban Lutz started to create a new hair-line that follows the zodiac signs. For today iI chose the wonderful “Capricorn” style combined with one of my all time favourites from Baiastice.

[sys] released a lot fo great new things. Today I wanna show you the new “Nymphe” eyelashes and the “Doom” boots.
Tha amazing “Nymphe” eyelashes are made of sculpties. So no more black bricks around the eyes as you do not have to rezz any alpha layers anymore. The combination of that black lashes and the silver-white gems really gives the whole face a very special modern and elegant touch.
The new “Doom” boots are just made like I love it. You can wear them with or without spikes and as well yo can combine them with so many different looks, anyways if casual or elegant. It just depends what you aim for with the full styling. The boots are so awesome detailed that you can see even every stitch for the leather and cool spikes and lines are looking very realistic. To get your new “Nymph” lashes and “Doom” boots in different colors, just make your way to the [sys] Mainstore 🙂

LOTD 09/29/2011 with Fellini Couture
Yesterday I met Joy Fellini – talented designer and owner of Fellini Couture – on one of her secret shopping tours… nope I will not tell where :p… and she gave me one of her latest releases – “Z”. Such an awesome creation with a lovely zebra print all over the dress. The huge ruffles on the sides are made in a sheer lace fabric and make an awesome contras to the opaque dress it self. What really caught my eyes were the zebra tinted claws that decorate the chest and the huge headpiece that as well has this awesome claws that hold it on the head. The bracelets and the collar are as well part of the outfit. For the earrings I used the “Noir” earrings from Finesmith Design, and the shoes are made by epoque. For me the “Z” dress is definitely a must have for the modern fashionista. Breathtaking News from Aleida!!!

The second dress as well was shown the first time at the BoSL Fashion Week 2011. “Life is a Chess” this incredible outfit is named and as you can see Aleida played with a lot of chessmen on this outfit. The basic colors black and white make a perfect illusion of a living chess board with all the chess pieces on it. The huge headpart carries them as well as the wonderful back train of the dress itself.
The mixture of the opaque chessmen and the floating lace make a perfect combination. The dress is made of a basic black fabric that open on the belly for a little chessboard 😉 Really a piece of Art!
The last outfit for today is the “Falling Apart Gown”. Also the first time on the runway at the BoSL Fashion Week 2011. A total eyecatcher is the huge bow head piece and the beautiful sculpted skirt with all this little domino parts at the back.
All 3 designs are made very detailed and you can imagine how much time and effort were put in that dresses. Aleida is back with a big boom and awesome new designs. Watch out for her new Fall/Winter Collection 2011. This 3 dresses are only a little taste of what will come 🙂
