The design was inspired by the Italian Renaissance and it is a firework of amazing art work. The huge prims are made dreamy flexible and the combination of red, white and gold gives an awesome elegant and sophisticated touch. If you take a closer look you can see the amazing eye for the detail that soraya put in every little prim. MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss France 2012 by GizzA

Lauren Mureaux, Miss France 2012, asked Giz Seom, owner and designer of GizzA, to make her national gown. If I take a look at this wonderful gown, she made a great choice… GizzA worked the whole gown in the colors of France, blue, red and white. The red and blue is brought in very delicate in the wonderful huge train. It kinda looks, as if this 2 colors were alive as with every move the train shows up in a nother shade. Sometimes you have the red and blue more and then with the next move it seems again as you have the less, sadly I could not catch that in my picture as it is kinda motion. The basic color is white what makes the whole design very sophisticated for me. the huge flowers add a very special elegant touch to the whole design. The beautiful “L’amour Pur” gown is now available for us all at the GizzA Mainstore.

MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Estonia 2012 by Bare Rose

The wonderful national costume for Miss Estonia 2012, comes from Bare Rose. Bare Rose is a well-known brand in Secondlife and it always stood for quality and very creative outfits. I have a lot of Bare Rose outfits already and they always were something special to me, as they are different to most of the usual designs. Bare Rose covers a wide range of different styles like casual, fantasy, formal, japanese designs and nearly all what you can think of. Nala Kurka, Miss Estonia 2012, decided to go to June Dion for her national costume and I have to say what came out is really something unique and outstanding. “Cologne” the wonderful costume is named and you must have mesh enabled to see it properly, as the skirt is made in the mesh technique. The outfit it self comes as a ready-to-wear outfit and I just added hair and the facemask by myself. The textures are made very filigree and with the love to the detail. the little ring and the jewelry looking part round the neck are as well part of the outfit and so is the hat. The wonderful designed ruffles and the filigree jewelry parts show the great designing skills of June Dion. “Cologne” now is available at the Bare Rose Mainstore.

MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Australia 2012 by Tres Beau & Finesmith

The amazing and very artistic national gown for Miss Australia 2012 was made by Kimmera Madison, genius designer of Tres Beau. This gown is a total piece of art and a real outstanding design. The inspiration for this awesome creations was the Great Barrier Reef of Australia. Kimmera brought it on the runway with this incredible design. What you sadly can not see on the picture is the floating water texture that covers parts of the skirt. You really get the imagination or water that is running down the skirt again and again like a little waterfall that Miss Rissa Friller, Miss Australia 2012 carried around. Now available for everyone, you will find the “Miss Australia 2012” gown at the Tres Beau Mainstore.

To make the imagination of the living Great Barrier Reef perfect, Kimmera added certain parts out of the ocean, like seashells, fishes, little nemos, corals, and anemones for the back part and the huge head piece. This gown perfectly shows the skills and knowhow of Kimmera Madison. Her ideas and the ability to create exactly what she has in mind and her awesome textures and prims, make her so popular for such a long time. That maybe explains why most of the MVW candidates find their ways to Tres Beau for their gowns and costumes. For this year “Miss Australia 2012” was one of the 2 gowns from Tres Beau, that brought Miss Rissa Friller the 1st runner-up for Miss Virtual World 2012!

The jewelry for Miss Australia 2012 for sure came from Finesmith. Rissa was the Face of Finesmith for 2011 and so for sure yula made the jewelry for both of her gowns. The “Oceania” set was made for her national costume and it as well takes the theme of the Great Barrier Reef. The earrings, bracelet and ring carry as well seashells, corrals paired with awesome noble metals and gems. Matching nails for the “Oceania” set were the “Ocean” nails as well from Finesmith. Both you will find at the Finesmith Mainstore ๐Ÿ™‚

MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Germany 2012 by The White Armory & Finesmith

The german national gown for sure was something special for me, as I am german myself. All of the gown are stunning and wonderful but for some strange reason I have a special relation ship to this one. It reminds me a lot on the days of my childhood, where I was read so many fairy tales and novels of the Brothers Grimm. Rapunzel, Dornroeschen, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Cap, Snow White… All of the princesses in those storys must have worn such gowns… I am sure! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I really like the imagination of a german national gown with the relation ship to the Brothers Grimm and I never saw this idea before for such a purpose. The “Germany’s Crowning Jewel” gown, The White Armory/TWA made for Falbala Fairey, our Miss Germany 2012, is a masterpiece of art. I know TWA for some time and I always adored their medieval and roleplay gowns and clothing, so I am very happy that Falbala chose TWA, she could not have made a better choice for her imagination. The dress itself is made of black and many shades of blue. The huge skirt is made after the typical medieval skirt style with the wide hips and all the awesome folds and ruffles. The bodice as well has a black basic but the blue corset is made with excellent and filigree ornamented textures in all shades of blue. The prim parts on wrists and neck as well add a very special touch and show the love for the detail of designer Bee Dumpling. The “Germany’s Crowning Jewel” gown as well contains a crown that can be worn with and without lace in the style of the wrist and neck prims. The “Germany’s Crowning Jewel” gown you can find at the The White Armory Mainstore.

The jewelry set for sure comes from Finesmith and yula did an incredible job to make the total perfect set for this beautiful gown. The “Dornroeschen” set is really the set for the fairytale princess! It has so many great pieces and you really can see that they were made for the “Germany’s Crowning Jewel” gown. The 2 parts for the head, the delicate hairbun diamonds and the wonderful head-piece with that long parts that end in framed, awesome gemstones. A collar, a pair of earrings and the amazing corset decor of little flowers with a blue center complete the stunning “Dornroeschen” set, that you now can get at the Finesmith Mainstore.

MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Spain 2012 by Mea Culpa & Finesmith

Mea Culpa made as well the national gown for Miss Spain 2012. Shena Neox made the 2nd runner-up for Miss Virtual World 2012 in 2 gowns of Mea Culpa. The beautiful evening gown I already showed in an earlier post, today I would like to lead the focus on the national gown of Miss Spain 2012. This gown really combines fashion, style and tradition. Tatanka Kaligawa showed more than once, that he perfectly can mix ethnic, traditional influences with a modern style of fashion and art. “Valentia del Toro” he named his creation and it really honors its name if you take a closer look on the hip attachments. There he worked some of the typical banderillas that are used for the bullfight. The colors are as well the typical spanish with red and black. The clothing layers carry a very filigree ornamented texture, what again shows Tatanka’s skills for making textures. The huge fan in the back with the red tentacles as well let you think on the typical spanish fans that we all know. The “Valentia del Toro” is now available at the Mea Culpa Mainstore together with the evening gown of Miss Spain 2012.ย  The jewelry again comes from Finesmith. Shena decided to go with the popular “Noir” set using the earrings and the bracelet. I added the collar and the ring as well. For the “Noir” set you have this great menu, yula includes in many of her jewelry, that let you change color and size for each part of the set. The “Noir” set you will find at the Finesmith Mainstore ๐Ÿ˜‰

MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss South Korea 2012 by PurpleMoon

PurpleMoon made not just of the gowns, that made it into the Top 12 of this years Miss Virtual World Challenge finalists. The national gown of Miss South Korea, Caoimhe Lionheard was another one :). This amazing “Sa-rang” gown has a very filigree and delicate texture that is perfectly brought on that amazing sculpted skirt. The trees are a typical asian ornament that we all know from a lot of asian pictures, asia porcelain and as well room dividers and other furniture. The color underlines the asia theme in a wonderful way. The huge black ribbon reminds me of the big ribbons I saw a lot of times at the back of kimonos as well, but it also adds a wonderful modern touch. The tassel that goes down from that ribbon again shows the amazing eye for the detail Poulet Koenkamp has if it comes to ideas and design. If you take a look at the amazing hair, it was as well made by PurpleMoon and is part of that gorgeous gown. The hair is a firework of prims and textures and a piece of art itself. The mixture of hair, jewelry and ornaments just gives an imagination how long Poulet must have sat on this awesome ensemble, which now is available at the PurpleMoon Mainstore.

MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Russia 2012 by PurpleMoon & Finesmith

The wonderful national gown for Miss Russia 2012 was made by Poulet Koenkamp, owner and creative designer of PurpleMoon. She made a wonderful interpretation of the russian traditional style for Miss Rusalka Callisto, who represented Russia in the Miss Virtual World competition for 2012 and in the end made the 3rd runner up. The textures are fantastic and you can see the incredible skills of Poulet, if you take a closer look on the fabrics. The huge headpiece as well is part of the “Catherine” gown. The wonderful ensemble is now available at the PurpleMoon Mainstore. For the jewelry Rusalka chose different already existing parts from Finesmith like the earrings and ring of the Rhonda set, the “Capri Collar” or the “Golden Nails”. As an extra special eye catcher, yula Finesmith designed a wonderful brooch to match this awesome outfit and the theme. The “Fabrege” brooch is an amazing and perfect decoration for this wonderful creation and it can found in a few more color combinations at the Finesmith Mainstore.
