News at Fellini Couture

Today I have the great pleasure to show you some of the latest releases of Fellini Couture.

Joy again surprises us with some new fantastic mesh creations. The new “Tentation Lips” dress is a wonderful combination of a very female looking dress and some…  kinda pop art with the huge lips. The dress itself is made very tight and lays dreamy around a slim, but curved female shape. The corset makes an amazing waist size, sexy and seductive. The huge lip that decorates the front of the skirt, Joy brough back above the corset, with some glass/diamond looking parts on red lips that are arranged to cover the chest. To really make sure that, you do not see anything you should not, you have an extra clothing layer ;). The strong red lips combined with simple white brought me on some crazy and funky accessories… the huge collar and the leash between my lips made the whole look pointing out on some Lady Gaga stylings and so I decided to add some heavy makeup from LovelyMi for the eyes. With that, now more fierce than elegant look, I needed some extravagant hair and my thought fell on one special hair from Bizarre Hair that was released not too long ago. To bring back the red of the lips, belt and gloves below the skirt, my decision for shoes fell on some red and vintage looking ankle boots from BAX.

As I finally finished my look and snapped the pictures the red came out very strong and I suddenly had the imagination of the comic ‘Sin City’ that uses a lot of black and white only featuring a deep and blood-red and so I worked on the pictures to get exactly that vibe for this post. The “Tentation” mesh gown as well is available in a nother version that is made only off black and white without the huge lips what might fit better for any elegant and classy occasions, but I liked the red accents so much, that I had to showcase the red lips version 😉

Black, White & Red – Square Fantasys with SoliDea FoliEs!

Part of the Spring Collection 2012 of SoliDea FoliEs are the “Optical Dresses & Hats”. There are 3 different versions in color and texture for this amazing new dress. For today I chose the ‘Square’ version of the amazing outfit.

The hat looks like one of the asian ‘Koi’ fishes and it is a very extravagant hat. I always loved how Mila Tatham, owner and genius designer of SoliDea FoliEs took unusual ideas and made them fashionable 🙂 The short dress is perfect for the upcoming spring season and I really like how carefully the red color is brought in with just the few little red balls and at the hat. I have an addiction for black and white and for squares for a long time – yes I am a child of the 80’s :p. So this dress really got my attention even if the 2 other colors are amazing as well.

To catch the red color again I took the new “Play Cubes” earrings from Finesmith. The square shape totally made it to the dress for me 🙂

Too keep the look in a modern way I added one of the latest releases from Urban Lutz for the hair.

Spring is coming with floral News :)

SoliDea FoliEs lately released so many amazing new outfits that I only hardly can keep up posting them all, but I am still trying :p

For today I have the “White Orchid” as the first outfit. The whole dress really shouts spring time with all the wonderful flowers that decorate the head-piece and the chest part of the dress.

To add the aerial touch for the perfect spring mood Mila Tatham, owner and designer of SoliDea FoliEs, added some wonderful flexible long lines that kinda flow around you while you walk. For the “Wild Orchid”, that you can see on the picture above you have the same great attributes as for the “White Orchid” but the color was changed to pink, purple and teal, an amazing color combination for spring colors.

The “Cirpis” in chocolate as well is one of the latest releases by SoliDea FoliEs. For the headpiece again we have this wonderful orchids that seem to be part of the Spring Collection 2012 of SoliDea FoliEs 😉 I really like the floral parts to welcome the spring time. The color, a mixture of rose and brown tones really makes this dress to a highlight.

MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Greece 2012 by ALB Dream Fashion & Alienbear

Today I have the great pleasure to show you the wonderful national costume of Miss Greece 2012. The amazing “Medusa” outfit was made by AnaLee Balut, skilled and experienced owner of ALB Dream Fashion. AnaLee Balut is a well known designer for contest gowns as she made MVW 2009 winner´s evening gown,  MVW 2010 winner´s costume and she was one of the finalists in the “One in a million” designers contest. With the “Medusa” outfit she captured many little details of the Greece mythologies. What caught my attention the most are the wonderful 3D looking snakes that go through the whole dress. The all look so real but not one snake looks like the other. The huge headpiece as well is part of the outfit and for the clothing layers AnaLee Balut shows her skills when it comes to designing. She combined different fabrics in different colors in an awesome way to one piece. The headpiece as well combines a lot of amazing little details. The golden part with the huge red gem, the long tail parts that again catch the snake theme and the hair itself. A stunning creation for Miss Calypso Oliphaunt, the Miss Greece for Miss Virtual World 2012. The beautiful shoes are as well part of the outfit. Very filigree done, again we can see how much love for the detail AnaLee Balut puts in her designs. The shoes come with a HUD so you can match the perfectly to your skin tone. The jewelry for this incredible creation was made by Alienbear. Alienbear made the perfect addition in gold and red for this wonderful dress. The thin golden lines in amazing shaped and ornaments holding tiny little red gems and white diamonds… really the work of a professional and Alienbear again shows why she is one of the top jewelry designers in SL with this wonderful and gorgeous “Esmeralda” set. The set contains the earrings and a two-part necklace. I am sure you will find the stunning “Esmeralda” set at the Alienbear Mainstore together with all the other breathtaking creations of Alienbear Gupte.

MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss Greece 2012 by Azul & Alienbear

Yesterday Mami Jewell, owner and brilliant designer of Azul, released 2 more Miss Virtual World 2012 gowns. I am very happy that I am allowed to showcase the stunning MVW 2012 Evening gown of Miss Greece 2012 – Miss Calypso Oliphaunt. This beautiful and aerial gown is another piece of art out of the hand of Mami Jewell.

For Miss Greece 2012, Mami Jewell decided to go with the traditional colors blue and white for the evening gown. The front has a very deep neckline and the aerial fabric caresses your upper body with every step you take.

The back view as well is very attractive. The deep back neckline gives a very sexy touch as well to all the elegance 🙂 The “Calypso” gown you can find at the Azul Mainstore as well in a few more colors 🙂

The wonderful jewelry was made by Alienbear Gupte, genius designer of Alienbear. Alienbear always stood for high-class and very elegant jewelry. Since I started modeling, Alienbear always was on the top for jewelry design. That she still is there shows the amazing “Calypso” formal set, that she made for Miss Greece 2012.

Alienbear used the deep front neckline of the “Calypso” gown for an awesome long necklace that ends with the neck line of the gown just right before the belly. The upper part includes one pice on the left side th looks like a part of a laurel wreath  in gold and the right side again repeats the greek colors black and blue. The bottom end of the necklace repeats the same shape that we can see for the earrings. A wonderful set for a greek princess 🙂
