Countdown – Winter Look #1

As I am still on tour with a band RL and we do not have that many times a stable and well internet connection – today just a quicky 😉 Lately I got parts of the new Winter Collection 2011 from Countdown. For today I chose the “Winter Look #1”. This wonderful complete outfit contains jacket, pants and boots. The eye catcher of this wonderful casual outfit are the puffy parts on wrists and neck of the jacket. The pants are in a lightly grey shade and the texture of the jacket is a piece of art itself. If you would like to see more of the Countdown Winter Collection 2011, hurry over to the Countdown Mainstore and take a look 😉

Rfyre – “La Glace”

(RFyre – “La Glace” /white, Model: Wicca Merlin, Photographer: Daron Brandeis)

Not too long ago I got the great opportunity to wear one of the latest releases from RFyre for one of their commercials. Daron Brandeis approached me and told me that he wants me for one of his projects. It seemed kinda urgent as he TPed me to meet the designer. I was very happy as I landed and saw Raven Pennyfeather, owner and designer of RFyre 🙂

(RFyre – “La Glace” /white, Model & Photographer: Wicca Merlin)

I was very happy to see her, I adore her creations for such a long time and so it was a great honor to model her newest outfit for a picture. She gave me the full black and white version of the outfit to style and I prepared stylings for all color versions. The white version of “La Glace” has the option of 3 different colors of the bodice. Red, as you can see in the first pic, white as shown above and a purple version that I will show below 😉

(RFyre – “La Glace” /white, Model & Photographer: Wicca Merlin)

As well the “La Glace” outfit can be purchased in black as well with 3 different options for the color of the top. For the black version you have black, white and red to choose from.

For the Jacket you have 2 different possibilities of the neck collar. one more huge (the one I mostly used for the post as I really like it) with shoulder pads and a high collar and a smaller and simple one without the big shoulder pads and not as high around the neck. You do not always have to wear the full outfit. If you wanna skip the jacket you can see the beautiful texture that Raven used for the top it self.

The top has a wonderful deep neckline, which is decorated with an awesome, filigree and silver ornament, as you can see above for the red version. The pants and jacket are not just black either. An amazing texture again shows the perfectionism and the eye and love for the detail, that Raven Pennyfeather puts in her clothing.

My biggest surprise was as I TPed lately to the RFyre Mainstore and saw the 2 pictures made by Daron Brandeis (the first and last of this post) directly at the landing point in a very large size. I really feel happy, grateful and honored that I was given this opportunity 🙂

A little “Magik” from eXxEsS

Lately I found a folder in my inventory that I did not see before and as I read the designers name it sounded new to me as well. I was very curious and put on the outfit with the mystical name “Magik”.

What I saw really surprised me. A cool and sexy outfit with quality and style. The textures are simple but you can see that Layja Vidor knows what she does. The huge neck collar with the little silver ornaments and the tassels on the side looks really cool. The little silverparts get repeated in the belt of the open skirt and on the wrists before the long sleeves start. The necklace as well is part of the outfit and so are the great plateau boots. I could not resist to add some evil accessories :p I guess eXxEsS definitely will be a store that I keep an eye on in the future 🙂

Angel Dessous: “Wicca” – a dream came true!

(Angel Dessous – “Wicca” /darknight red & darknight black, Picture by Miss Cherie Parker)

A few weeks ago I was talking to Nando Korobase, designer of Angel Dessous, and we had a lot of fun with weird thoughts. I do not remember exactly how we came on it but suddenly Nando said, that if he ever has a weird and crazy idea for a gown he will name it after me. Of course I felt honored big time… but as I was knowing, that he has tons and tons of work with challenge gowns and new releases, I did not expect it to happen very soon. Still a smile on my face we talked for a little more and some when I left his laboratory.(Angel Dessous – “Wicca” /darknight red)

I nearly had forgotten about it as suddenly during my LeeZu shift, Nando IMed me and said he might have done an outfit that is so crazy that it could wear my name… I do not need to mention that every second till the end of my shift felt like hours. I was so horrible curious and excited I nearly could not wait… After 10 more minutes, that felt like 10 more hours, I left LeeZu and ran over to Angel Dessous, up to Nando’s laboratory. What I saw, as he showed me was taking my breath away… This fantastic gown should wear my name… a dream of mine came true, as I saw him there with the new dress. The shoulder parts edgy with little hovering balls on it wich are repeated at the waist part down the skirt. A wonderful textured skirt part longer in the back then in the front with an amazing laced end at the bottom. An awesome top with this little filigree lace parts at the bottom of the cleavage. The beautiful gloves with these amazing prim parts above the elbows and the wrists – I really was speechless.

(Angel Dessous – “Wicca” /bloodred black)

Then he told me about the 3 different color combinations as I still was staring at the new “Wicca” dress. I heard him saying that he wanted me to model it and make a picture of it for the release… I still was dreaming, but at the same time my mind started working what I could do with this amazing dress for a picture and there my trouble started. Something came in my mind and got stuck there, so that no other idea had any chance. As I wanted to show at least 2 versions of the dress I wanted to pull myself, at my hair, out of a mirror. I tried and tried but nothing could satisfy my idea… I was close to pull my hair in RL,  as I had this idea in my mind and just could not really realize it like I wanted to. Then Cherie Parker came into my mind. I adore her for her pictures since forever and in the very past she made me a wonderful picture… she was the one, she could do it! I IMed her telling her my problem. She was very nice as always and in the end she said she would try. A few days later I met her and she snapped a lot of poses and positions of both versions of the “Wicca” dress with me in it :p I again was hell nervous and excited aboutthe result. Cherie must have felt that, because she was really fast with my picture, even if she had so much work for other projects. One evening she IMed me, telling me she would have my picture and as she sent it tome I nearly freaked out – it was exactly what I wanted!!! (if you scroll back to the beginning of this post you can see the pic :P) At this point again thank you Cherie for realizing my weird idea!!! As well thank you to Nando for realizing one of my dreams to have an outfit from Angel Dessous that carries my name 🙂 If you like the “Wicca” dress as much as I do, you should make your way to the Angel Dessous Mainstore and see wich color version you like most… I could not decide to be honest ;p

Modeling poses by Morphine

Lately I discovered that Hadaluna Daines started her own business with making modeling poses. So for sure I made my way over to the Morphine Mainstore to take a look on her poses. I really have to say she does an awesome job with her poses. I IMed her to tell her that and she immediately sent me one of her sets. I was very happy and honored and for sure I have to show you this awesome poses…

Morphine poses can be used for runway and as well for photography. The smooth transitions let you shine on the runway and make a wonderful performance. What I like most is that the poses are a bit out of the box and not the same ones that you can find again and again. Hadaluna seems daring enough to try something new and I would say with success 🙂 I am sure that this pose set is not the last (ok it was not the first as well) that I got from Morphine. If you wanna try by yourself make your way to the Morphine Mainstore 🙂

Fantastic new outfit from Yasum!!!

Again I have wonderful news from Yasum. One of the latest releases of Azlyn Vaher is called “Day Out” and it totally matches its name 😉 “Day Out” is the perfect outfit for the actual winter season.

High-waisted pants combined with a wonderful jacket. I would like to take a closer look at the totally awesome jacket. The sculpted prims are perfectly attached to the body so that for a reason this jacket nearly does not move if you are in motion… Usually jackets like this, for example with animations of your AO or even dances move weird through your body… the “Day Out” jacket does not! At the awesome fluffy fur wrist parts again we see the incredible designing skills of Azlyn Vaher. She indeed has an eye for the little and cute details, what makes her clothing so outstanding. The same texture gets repeated at the wonderful neck collar of the jacket. “Day Out” is available in the light version, wich I have here on my blog and as well in a darker version. So anyways what you like more you will find it at the Yasum Mainstore 😉

And again I would like to zoom closer, to see the amazing glasses I am wearing for this outfit. For longer I had my eyes on a store called Crie Style. This fantastic store made glasses and eye wear I never saw before. The glasses are so unbelievable detailed in many parts and the wild ideas of different eye wear is just incredible! For today I chose one of the Crie Style glasses called “Garbo” The beautiful glasses can be worn to nearly every style you can imagine, as they are so soft and filigree, that they go with nearly everything you mix and match. With a HUD you can change the look of the lenses and some other appearance depending on the model of the glasses. I rarely saw glasses like this and Luxury Eyewear hits the nail on the head 🙂

Winter Dreams with Finesmith and SAS!!!

One of the latest releases of Sascha’s Design was the “Roodvosje” gown here shown in lavender. Again this gown has many possibilities for the skirt as we know it from Sascha’s Design 🙂

This delicate textured gown got me in a huge winter princess feeling so what could go better with that amazing shining dress then one of the latest releases by Finesmith… but first lets take a closer look at the gown 🙂 The texture is a masterpiece and it shows again the amazing skills of Sascha Frangilli if it comes to textures and design. The huge shoulder part makes a wonderful cleavage and gives a wonderful dreamy touch. The skirt wishes lightly over the ground while you walk and gives a very elegant feeling.

Now the attention goes to this amazing jewelry… as I mentioned earlier it is one of the latest releases by Finesmith. Yula did a wonderful “Snowflake” set. This amazing set is made of so many little prims… I wonder that yula not gets crazy with all that little parts sometimes :p This set really again shows her creativity and sense for style and design. This snowflakes are so detailed and really look like as they were just taken from an iced window… now to something very great yula has on her jewelry…

As you can see the jewelry is fully colorable. That comes because yula makes the effort and puts menu in her colorsets… this menu let you change the metals as well as the gems and even in more than one color for this set. The metals are not just silver and gold, you will find way more colors like sky, pink, black and copper only for the metals, what already gives you a huge range of possibilities for matching your clothing. For the “Snowflake” set you have the option to change the gems in 2 parts as you can see on the pic. So the whole jewelry set is totally menu driven for all parts – earrings, bracelet, ring and necklace… yes I used the bracelet for my forehead and head on this gown*grins*

So make your way to Sascha’s Design and Finesmith to get your personal winter princess look 😉

Wicca’s Wardrobe: LOTD 11/29/2011 – Mother of Darkness

Yesterday, again I made my way to the DAB Studios, owned by Daron Brandeis. He was IMing me, if I would have time for a shooting. A designer booked a commercial picture and he wanted me to style and model it. As I arrived, the designer was there and we had a short talk about what she wanted to have, the after all was cleared she left.

We did a few test shots to show her later and as we finished I was fooling around with a few looks and styles I created before as, I heard Daron freaking out about my actual outfit. Again it was clear that our crazy minds are not that far from each other and he started building a stand up little set. I put on the funny lightballs again and got very excited about, what he has in mind… I suddenly saw electric lights between my hands and instantly put on my glowy blue eyes… one word gave the other and I heard the camera going again and again… and what came out… was so incredible I have no words for…

Then suddenly I got a notecard from Pindar, who was sitting and watching the photography session… I had no clue that he writes and was hell touched by what just came up his mind watching the shooting. I asked him if I may use his little “poem” for the blog as it says more than 1000 words I could do…

Mother of Darkness by Pindar Kanya

I walk the spaces
between the worlds
and stalk the ebon reaches beyond Time
universes come into being
between the possibilities of my Will
to Be…or not to Be…there is no question
for I decide
what will and will not Be
I am the Smiter of Gods
the Eater of Worlds
and the Mother of Darkness
I call and the stars answer
I smile
and Darkness covers a thousand worlds
I wait for all beings
in the places where all fear to look
deep within
that raw, primal, ancient space
I stand
and one day…your final day
long after Death takes you…
you will see my face
