LOTD 10/18/2014 – Featuring LeeZu & PurpleMoon

Lately I am a lot on to colored stylings… maybe that’s the autumn vibe 😉 So before the dark Halloween days start I use my colored moods a bit more 😉

Today I would like to showcase one of the newest releases from LeeZu together with the amazing new “Croco Boots”, that PurpleMoon released for the Instruments event.

The “Li-Belle” outfit is an ensemble of hotpants jacket and top. All of them are available in various color combinations so you will find your favorite one at the LeeZu Mainstore. The super sexy hotpants are made with some very aerial fabric and it nearly looks like as the short pant sleeves would move with every wind breeze ;). The jacket again is a little master piece of LeeZu again. The long sleeves are open at the outsides. A perfect look for the last sunny moments in the autumn season. Both, the hotpants and the jacket are mesh made and only the top comes in a layer version to fit perfectly under the jacket.

The boots are again the “Croco Boots” from PurpleMoon.. I know I already showcased them, but they are so amazing, that I had to wear them again in another color ;). You will find the boots at the Instruments event till the end of October.

The amazing earrings are made by Chop Zuey and with the golden metals and the possibility to recolor the gems to match the look the “Don’t call me Betty” earrings were the perfect choice.

With the glasses from Crie Style and one of my favourite hair styles from EMO-tions I felt ready for a sweet afternoon walk over the grid, where I found this amazing little garden house wich was part of the last Collabor 88. Perfect scenery for a perfect autumn look 😉

Today I am very happy to showcase a look made with items from PurpleMoon  & LeeZu, 2 of my favourite designers for years.

The days get shorter, the trees get more and more colored in red and yellow tones, so my mood was totally autumn today 😉 .

The amazing “Erica” jacket, wich includes the top is made by PurpleMoon. It comes with a huge HUD, that let you change the jacket and the shirt separately to various colors.

The “Milan”pants from LeeZu are one of those things, that I like to wear again and again. The are timeless and you as well can choose between a long and a short version. Today I chose the short version as I wanted to wear the new “Croco Boots” from PurpleMoon. The “Croco Boots” you will not find at the main store for now, as it is the contribution for the Instruments event of October 2014.

Last week I was walking a show, that was dedicated to German designers in SL. Most of them are little stores and brands and for some I did not even know that they are German like me :p.

One of those brands I did never hear of before was F.owl. I got the beautiful “Wonderland – Doll Dress” for the show, something I might not have chosen by myself, but for the show I had to style it. The dress itself is mesh made. The bottom is a solid black fabric and the top has a sweet lace looking texture. I was looking for quite some time at the dress and thought what kind of look I could do with it. Usually if I need some inspiration, I get some music on, or I look through RL fashion magazines. This time I decided to go for music. I was listening to a mixture of Shania Twain, Sheryl Crow and Alanis Morissette, as the idea for my look was growing in my head.

I added the “Glitter Tights” in gold from LeeZu and the “Flutter Boots” by lassitude & ennui. The “Glitter Tights” I loved so much, because they have a black sheer base and some golden highlights around the knees in the front. The “Flutter Boots” I found at the Gothic Fair 2013 and I totally fell in love with them. The are boots with not too high heels but still they are not that kind of heavy and huge as most of the boots you see on the grid. The lines in the front and the flat sole with the heels were just perfect for the casual look I was searching  for. Now I still looked kinda usual and nice, but I wanted to give the whole look my little twist. So I added the “Sirah” hairstyle from Burley with that amazing mesh hat and the huge “Twiggy” glasses from LeeZu. For the jewelry I decided to go with a simple high neck collar and ready was the styling 🙂 Even if I might have not bought this dress for my self, it turned out to soemthing I really liked ;). Overall it came out as a casual, but still stylish look that could be worn as an everyday outfit.

Breathtaking News & Timeless Favourites by Mea Culpa & PosESioN!!! Starring Dahriel & Wicca

Lately my sweet little brother Dahriel, owner and creator of PosESioN, came across that we both liked a lot what the other did and we talked about to do some pics together. I adore his picture skills for a very long time and I was very happy, when he told me he would love to do some weird stylings and art with me together. All of  sudden he IMed me if I could style anything with Mea Culpa and purple, as he wanted to wear the “Illusory Wisdome” outfit from Mea Culpa. I was thinking on one of my long time favourites of Mea Culpa, the “Hopeless Illusion”. It was one of the very first creations of Tatanka Kaligawa, owner and designer of Mea Culpa. For the poses we used some of the latest releases of PosESioN. As Dahriel and me got dressed he rezzed one of his new skyboxes for the picture and I got huge eyes… The whole skybox was in purple and black and had a look like it could have been a location of a Tim Burton movie! Dahriel and me discovered that we both like Tim Burton a lot – another thing we share as so many others, that we discovered before and I felt even more how much I love my little brother 😉

For the next picture we decided to go with one of the latest releases from Mea Culpa, the “X-treme Mirrors”.

The “X-treme Mirrors” is part of the X-treme line of Mea Culpa, a special line, that combines fetish elements with high fashion designs. Again Dahriel rezzed one of his various skyboxes and again it was perfect for the whole scenery… he has the eye for the special detail. More and more I enjoyed our evening that we had together… all the stylings, like for the “X-treme Mirror” I had an idea and he came up with another one, or the other waxy round and we started to mix and match our ideas according to the other… I felt like in heaven. The wonderful mirrors on the “X-treme Mirrors”brought us to the idea to make the picture like there would be a mirror in the middle of the picture. Dahriel mirrored the pose he had for himself and the room as well and with all the amazing details of the “X-treme Mirrors”, the glasses, the wonderful headpiece and the amazing textures the whole picture became art for me.

Dahriel got he wonderful “El Matador” outfit from Mea Culpa and I had immediately the idea, the “Oppressive Prophecy” would make a perfect match for another couple shot with Dahriel. The gold decorations of both outfits are just like made for ech other. Both outfits have a black basic and with all the amazing prims of the “Oppressive Prophecy” I go the idea of if a fashion matador and his fashion victim. Dahriel loved the idea and started immediately to create the perfect pose. As we thought about a location we agreed because of all the black and gold tines we wanted to have sand and rocks with kinda an arena style for the amazing “Matador” pose from PosESioN.

I would like to thank my little brother Dahriel for an amazing afternoon and evening. For a long time I felt the first time that there is a soul that is somehow connected to mine with all the weird stylings and picture ideas. Our minds are so close that sometimes it scares me 😉 , but I could not think of a better little brother than Dahriel! This was a wonderful and amazing time with such incredible pictures and I really hope that this was just a start and we can do many more like this little brother!!!

Wicca’s Wardrobe: LOTD 06/06/2012 – Rainbow

Today I would like to show you one of my styling ideas I had for the now finished LeeZu contest. One of the ‘Color me This’ contest themes was called ‘Rainbow’ and you had to mix and match as much colors as possible and still present a good look.

I really wanted to showcase it in a special way. More in an artsy way than I usually do my own pics. I was thinking for a longer time for the right photographer as suddenly an old friend came to my mind. The wonderful GM Nikolaidis, owner and creator of Fluke poses. I admired his graphic work for longer by watching his flickr and from past time shoots he did of me for designers. I had no clue he does clients work as well! After I found that out I ran into his IM asking him if he would do the pictures for me LeeZu rainbow style and he agreed!!!

So all the wonderful pictures of this post are made by GM Nikolaidis 🙂 Now lets take a closer look of the style it self. I tried to combine as much colors by using LeeZu items and outfits only.

To have a base to work from I started with the dress. The “Catch Lily” dress is a longtime favourite of mine and so I began with taking 2 different colors for top and skirt of the “Catch Lily” dress – blue for the skirt and beige for the top. To add some more colors, I took the “Cat Tights”in yellow and put the “Anna” stockings in spring to put them over the tights. For the shoes I decided to go with the “Street Blues Boots” in mixed red and for the hat I used the “Natty Scarf Pin” as well from LeeZu. Just a few items  are non LeeZu items and I will credit them in the style card at the end 😉
