I had a very rough few days, thinking about friendship and about the fact that you think you know people and then you get badly disappointed to find out… you were completely wrong by thinking you knew someone.

It is not the first time that I had to find out about the true colors of someone, who called me “friend” for a longer time. Every time when that happened, I told myself to not trust people anymore – especially not in a virtual environment, where it is even more easy to trick people about your identity and character.

For what ever reason, I go against my own guts again and again, when I meet new people. I always try to force myself to not trust them right away or maybe do not trust them at all even. But you know how that goes, if you are an emotional and true person, there will be a point after some time, where you feel something for someone and just can’t hold the protective wall, which you built around you, up any longer and again you fall for something you call friendship after a while. In good times, all will go fine and you think you got to know someone, even if he or she lives all across the world on the other half of the globe. And many times it really is like that, but you again and again will face the fact, that there is rotten tomatoes between all the good red ones. Usually they are well hidden and so it takes a while until they are seeing the sunlight. If they do it mostly hurts. In the past even more than today, as with getting older you experience that more often certainly, even if you never will get used to it.

If I think about closely, the situations where it turned out good, feel even stronger. I don’t want miss the friendship to a hand full of people I met in Second Life over the years – some of them I even call family by now and they most likely or better hopefully never would turn 180° on me. What if I would have gone with my “no trust” policy strictly? I never would have met those I truly care for and think about, even if I am not in Second Life. I would have missed those who I can trust and who trust me and all the wonderful times we shared together. So I guess I will be hurt again in the future, as I am not willing to give up on trusting people in general… I do not want to miss out on those, which possibly could become amazing wonderful friends over the time. Some probably would call me stupid for that, I would call it human I guess 😉

LeLUTKA Evolution X 3.0 is here!

Right in time for the Skin Fair, LeLUTKA brings us again new and exciting heads! This time we have 3 new heads to choose from: Ceylon, Avalon and Briannon.

Today I would like to show you Ceylon 3.0 with all its wonderful new features. When I unpacked the new head I already was completely overwhelmed by all the boxes I found in the box already. So more unpacking and with each box my jaw dropped more… besides the content we all did know from the Evolution line 2.5, we get a lot more of makeup, super cute elf ears (which as well have the same awesome piercings as the human ears). then I spied something called “EARS – lel EvoX” in 4 different tones and tattoos for the ears in one of the Add-On boxes and got really excited – OMG!

Ok, calm down Wicca, unpack the other Add-On boxes, maybe for once read the note cards and see what you can do with it 🙂

We get a lot of new features while some older features were granted an update. Lets’s see whats new…

For the head we have new HD skins & makeups on a new UV Map, especially made for even more high definition, the cute new elf ears and the lacrimal and tear line were joined to be the eye socket now. For all those new things we certainly got a few new buttons on the HUD as well 😉 While Omega Appliers still work for the eyes they are not an option anymore for the rest of the head.

When I first changed to the new Ceylon 3.0 head I was frightened as I found my whole face pulled over the top of my head – I nearly panicked, but then I reminded myself – NEW X Line! Glam Affair as well joined on that new venture and released for the skin fair various new skins for that Evolution X Line. I chose the new “Rika” skin along with the new body line of skins (THANK YOU Aida for being so generous ♥). Here we go, I have a human face again and what a sweet and cute one! Certainly I had to try the elf ears too for my first post and even the new tattoos you can apply on your ears now separately from you basic skin! You can stack the skin and the tattoos the same way as we can do it for the face, too. Like I already mentioned, there is a lot of incredible makeup coming with your new “X 3.0” head, I really had a hard time choosing just one for my first post… the final decision fell on the “LeLUTKA.EvoX.Eyeliner.042” combines with the “LeLUTKA.EvoX.Eyeshadow.042”

So with all the new features can I never use my existing BoM inventory? Does this upgrade make all my existing face tattoos and makeups useless? Hell NO! I have to admit I was scared about that for a second too before I saw this little new button on the HUD:

How cool is that?!? You just can switch between the new Evo X and the Classic Evolution features! That means you still can use all our existing BoM skins, tattoos and makeups, but you as well get the option to use the new even more high definition designs. I really do love that as it does give you a lot of possibility and you can as well bridge the time – if you need more than the uber-awesome palette you get with the new heads – until more and more Evo X designs will be released. For todays post I certainly go with the new Evo X option 😉 LeLUTKA again is pushing the limits for avatar enhancement with this new Evo X line of mesh heads – they broke free from the Second Life UV map and made their own way more detailled and shaper UV map to give us a even more awesome look!

I will look into the other 2 heads very soon and see what will be my new favorite of the Evo X line! You can as well make your choice, if you run over to the Skin Fair and just try 😉
