The unisex headband had modify permissions, to make it fit for all kind of heads weather mesh heads, system heads or non human heads. As a little extra, we included a button to hide the front, middle pendant and chain.

Red Queen – My Vision of a Modern Queen of Hearts

I always adored the novel Alice in Wonderland and the actual round of Enchantment had exactly that as a theme for their event. So the story was stuck in my mind again and when I saw the new “Lexa Latex Dress” from A&Y Cybernetics in that stunning, strong red (there is 5 colors in total to choose from) I got the idea to try for a modern, fashionable & lightly kinky Queen of Hearts 😉

Latex is always tricky in SL, but Anabel Crystal, owner and designer of A&Y did an amazing job with it. What I love the most is that the HUD allows you to texture the dress, the straps and the metals separate.

I do not know why but if I wear a short dress, I always have the feeling I want something on my arms and legs, especially the legs if I do wear no high boots. This time I chose gloves from Codex, as they had a perfect latex possibility in their HUD and for the knees I went with some cool leg garters from Tabou. The shoes, which matched the style so perfect, are made by UTOPIA@Design. The “Cinzia” heels. Made of zippers that are wrapped around your feet and with a super sexy, high heel and platform sole they are simply a must have for every fashionistas wardrobe!

Often I was asked if I do sometimes use particles for my pictures. Particles are not always easy to snap, depending on how they are made and how string your graphic card is. Sometimes they just create weird colored ‘shadows’ and then it is easier to make those effects in Photoshop.

But not with the particles and effects form Cole’s Corner. ColeMarie Soleil has a great way to make her particles and effects, so that you can use them for pictures most of the time and they still show clear and crisp. For the actual round of the Enchantment, she made the amazing “Queen of Hearts Aura” and the “Queen of Hearts Halo”. Both colored in red, the Aura even spreads the typical signs you find on the cards like the hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades. Since a simple photo usually doe snot show particles properly I tried this time to make a short gif, so you can get an idea of the sweet effect 🙂

A cool style needs a great makeup too that matches the look and even gives the perfect finish to it. I know I said that already and not only once but I LOVE the makeup and lipsticks from Zibska for such strong and intense styles. It always adds even more dramatic vibes to the whole look. When I went to the Zibska main store to see what new releases she has, my view fell on the group gifts again and I saw one that I not yet had… how could that happen O.O

The “Themis” head piece did fit so nicely to the look and again lifted it o a higher level for me and together with the “Arie” eyeshadow and lipstick it just looked complete to me. Complete for my modern, fashionable Queen of Hearts – My Red Queen 🙂

Spring is coming… soon! – Spring Dreams 2017

Today I am very happy to showcase one of the newest releases from Enfant Terrible. The stunning “Verdandi” dress is available at the actual round of the Enchantment.

I always admired Enfant for her stunning textures and her super amazing designs. And again the “Verdandi” dress shows exactly what I am talking about. The incredible texturing in different colors and as well the cool wrapped around belt make a great contrast. The dress looks so filigree and sophisticated and the strong leather belt with those cool studs just breaks up the romantic feeling in an amazing way.

The sweet head piece I found on the Enchantment event as well in a gacha machine from LODE. The “Bleeding Hearts” head piece with the little red hearts on top of the yellow/green leaves just made the perfect head dress for the “Verdandi” dress to me and it pulled back some of the romantic mood the dress has for me.

For the makeup and lipstick I decided to go with one of my personal favourites – Zibska. I love the creativity of Zib Scaggs, anyways if it is, apparel, makeup, shoes or accessories. She has such a great eye for colors, shapes and details and two of her newest make up releases I found at the Enchantment event as well. In total she has 4 packs – 2 eye shadows and 2 lipsticks –  at the Enchantment, kinda one dark and one light set and I chose to mix them for today’s post with the light eye shadow and the deep and dark shining lips.

Today I chose to use an inworld location, as iI wanted something like the first spring kiss, as I have enough of all the winter colds already and in Germany we got the first sunny days even if they still are not that warm 😉 At “Romantic Moods” they already changed from the winter season to a spring coming soon layout, which just was perfect for my idea for the pictures.

Phoenix – A Modern, Steampunk Interpretation

Sometimes the mind takes off and you just go with the flow…

That happened again after I got the amazing “Lavi” makeup from Slackgirl. I wanted to do something special as the makeup itself looked very different to me.

First I tried something simple, as I wanted the makeup to pop out, but what ever I tried, it never did satisfaction to the makeup to my feeling.

That usually is the point when I put things to the side and wait until the creative muse kisses me with the right idea. But for what ever reason I could not do it this time without again and again thinking about it.

With the amazing shine of the makeup, I came across the idea to use the wonderful “Asgard Wings” from E.V.E Studio, that come with the matching head wing parts. So I slowly got a basic idea for what would like to go for. Wearing the cool head wing parts I had to find some hair, that go well with them without hiding too much or looking too funky. The ” Tommy” hair is the perfect choice to match my vision, which grows more and more in my mind 😉

With the beautiful detailed top from the “Scarlett” lingerie – made by Salt & Pepper – I had the arms free for the awesome “Elowen” arm pieces from Wicca’s Wardrobe. The shorts with the cool garter straps come from Asteria and are named “Mady”.

With the cool “Lavi” makeup and the “Asgard” accessories the vision of an steampunk Phoenix was born in my head… I can’t tell you why but it just got tsuck in my mind :p

For the set, which I built at my studio I used the incredible “Propelling Gears” together with the “Rosina’s Undergeound” and the “Eye of the Storm” made the perfect ambience for what I was looking for 🙂

Now.. simple runway poses would not do justice to the Phoenix idea. I was trying quite a few but nothing really would work with my idea and finally Gryphon Vendetta, creator of Poseidon poses saved my life. I ran into Poseidon via Gryphons amazing flickr stream and his incredible pictures. I totally love them and drooled more than once over his pictures 😉

He does very dramatic and expressive poses which are perfect for exciting pictures and moods. I rarely saw such motion looking poses, which still look human and not distorted for the limbs. It looks like that he has poses for every occasion you can think about whether it is weapons, running scenes or flying moments. Sometimes he even has props coming with them like the one I used for the dark bloody nurse post not too long ago (https://wiccamerlin.de/something-evils-lurkinin-the-dark/).

I really got kinda an addiction for Poseidon poses since I tried them first and with all those possibilities he offers, I guess that will not be the last post I used them :p (I spied a Harley Quinn set too and I LOVE Harley Quinn*grins evil*)

But for now I hope you enjoyed my person vision of a modern steampunk Phoenix 😉

Lingerie… innocent and delicate the same time ;)

Again I had a lot of fun by playing with lingerie 😉

Blacklace came out with some stunning news a few ago and today I would like to showcase the new “Vivian” lingerie from Blacklace. It comes in many different colors (always 2 in once pack), but I chose the nude/black version for today. I loved how the innocent nude fabrics going along so well with the delicate lace…

I really do love the way how the applier lingerie works on the Slink mesh body. It has not a single blurry spot, everything is sharp and detailed shown, you nearly get the impression you can feel the lace under your fingers touching the screen :p

What could fit better to such a wonderful lingerie than beautiful pearls. The wonderful necklace with the incredible back view comes from AvaWay. The “Emmanuelle” necklace can be worn as a complete set or as 6 separate parts. For this post I chose the full set of the necklace. The bracelet I took from the “Taylor” set by Lybra and the super awesome ring was made by Tracei Moore.

Lingerie should never be over-accessorized in my opinion, so I decided to just add the fantastic “Galla” pumps from Glamistry to complete the look.

The awesome deco and furniture for the scene, besides the wonderful mannequins, I found at the actual round of On9. I kinda wanted something industrial, used looking for my set today to put out the fantastic lingerie even more 🙂

You may have noticed, a new head on my shoulders… I am testing again, but that will be a new post soon 😉
