Monthly Midnight Madness @ Wicca’s Originals // 9th – 10th November

We are part of Monthly Midnight Madness again!

At midnight we are offering our Saera Boots and at noon we are offering our Jaenya Dress – both in a special Monthly Midnight Madness color. Each offering is limited to 1500 gifts and fits Lara, Freya and Hourglass. For only L$50 we are offering an add on to both gifts – a HUD with four more colors. If you are a member of Wicca’s Originals, you need only wear your group tag and the add on gift is FREE! We also have Last Chance Vendors on Sunday for L$50, but if you are a Wicca’s Originals group member, wear your tag and you get the Last Chance for FREE!

The gift boards are scripted in a way that they won’t give gifts to any avatar above 25000 complexity. This is needed to reduce lag and to make sure that the gift boards give away the gifts properly. A high complexity is mostly caused by high poly mesh attachments and high resolution textures, not by the amount of scripts which actually don’t effect the gift boards as much. You can check your own complexity in the right bottom corner of your appearance window or by going to the menu – avatar – health – show complexity / render weights on avatar. Make sure you’ll keep it below 25 000. Regular mesh bodies usually are not the problem, some mesh heads though have 100K alone, other mesh heads are totally fine. Same goes for hair. You can see how the weight changes if you remove or add any mesh to your avatar. We provide a survival kit that includes a full alpha and a TP hud to all participating stores and highly recommend to just go full alpha for this event.

Christmas Countdown @ Wicca’s Wardrobe (Dec 14th – 24th)

Christmas is near so it’s time to count down! We have 11 gifts to mark each day closer to Christmas!

We have created our very own Advent Calendar to celebrate the approach of Christmas! We have 11 gifts just for you. Each day will be a surprise gift. Come visit the store each day and just like a real Advent Calendar, open a door to reveal your gift! All of our Advent gifts are made for Maitreya, and some include versions for Slink and Belleza. When the image of the gift is revealed the image will indicate which bodies the item will work with in the lower left corner. Each gift comes as they are seen in their photos and without color changing HUDS. On the day of the gift the item is free to group members and L$50 to non-members.

On the “OMG I MISSED A DAY!” calendar, items for missed days are available for L$50 to group members and L$99 for non-members.

Lucky with [LeeZu!]!

St. Patrick’s Day brings to mind the luck of the Irish, but here in SL you can be lucky with LeeZu! At LeeZu we are seeing green all over the store. Lucky four leaf clovers are popping up all over!. Each clover has a special surprise in it. There will be three clovers containing either Bubble Glam Tights, the LeeZu! Nyar or the Oxford Dress Varient. These three outfits are complete and ready to wear.

But there’s more!!!! A while back, LeeZu created an amazingly fabulous gown called Beautiful Ann. This gown sells in the store for 1500 L but it can be yours for 40 L only during this contest. Parts of the gown can be found in SEVEN Clovers hidden around the store. Find all the parts and you have the complete gown to wear and treasure. Altogether there are TEN CLOVERS. Find them all and spruce up your wardrobe.

Here’s all you have to do:

Stroll through the store and locate Four Leaf Clovers. Purchase a copy of each one you find for 5 L. They will be NO TRANSFER so you can’t purchase them for anyone else. Collect all the clovers and you will have three casual items and one formal gown for a total cost of 50 l.

Drop by the store now and start the hunt for your lucky clovers!

What happens when color meets your favorite creators in Second Life?
Come and find out!

For my first but certainly not last post, I would like to showcase the contribution of devousMind to the ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow’ hunt. Chandra Meehan, owner and designer of !dM, made an amazing corset outfit for the hunt. The very colorful corset made of all the rainbow colors. The awesome frilled white pants, the sweet collar, the white fishnet tights and the sweet net train that brings back all the sweet colors 😉

For me, the usually black loving person it was not immediately comfortable to be so colorful, but one by one I got used to it. First I added the yellow version of the “Piccadilly Overknee Boots” from LeeZu when I came across the super cool “Codie” hair from Discord Designs. It had a rainbow colored version in it and it was going perfectly with the “Valentina” corset from !dM. Each hair color of the gacha coes with a “Ripley” black hairbase. The “Codie” hairstyle was made for the gacha at the ’24’ event and usual colors will follow at the Discord Designs Mainstore after the event. To add my little rebel to the whole look i decided to go with one of the newest tattoos from White Widow. Julie Hastings made some new body tattoos, wich as well come with a tango applier for all those who love the new mesh boobies.

For the picture I wanted to go crazy with colors and items so I decided to put a lot of colorful candy behind and around me. I got a little bit the feeling of “Wicca in Wonderland” as I added the way too big teapot and the huge muffins and lollipops*giggles*

The “Somewhere over the Rainbow” hunt is definitely worth a try, as many amazing designers put incredible colorful items for the hunters.

Follow the rainbow trail to 15 fantastic designers and get a taste of their passion for colors – this list is intentionally super short, so you don’t have to TP around like mad. We want you to have fun with it!
