Wicca’s Wardrobe: Crazy Casual on a stormy Afternoon

The opening of my shop Wicca’s Wardrobe last night and the huge response of friends, customers and students, did really push me to make another set for my new store. Yes I am like a little girl on Christmas, because I never had a store or a brand before 😉 This new “Crazy Casual Set” is kinda some poses I always wanted to have an never found them.

Even everyday moments can be very special. Most of them are poses, that happen during the day , when you are walking around and you do not even realize them. What I realized while I made the poses, it looks very funny when you try to make static poses that are part of a movement you do not even notice when you do it 😉 If you look out on the grid there are hardly any poses, that look like real snapshots, where you just catch a moment. For that special moments, a realistic and casual picture, the “Crazy Casual Set” is made 🙂

For today’s styling I used a combination of LeeZu and M.o.w. The super cool “Suspender Jeans” in that tartan fabric looking texture with the loose suspenders really caught my heart. First I wanted to make an urban casual with it, but then I thought you even can make something chic out of it and tried the “Tasia” jacket from LeeZu. The jacket for me was something new and very special for me. The first time when I put it on, I thought I did have rezzing problems. Then I jumped… NO! it was supposed like this!!! I never saw a mesh jacked with a half open arm. The upper side of your arm is nude and the bottom part is covered and even carries some little decorations… just amazing.

For the location, I thought I can use the deviousMind sim, that I was talking about in one of my last posts. The whole sim has so many amazing secret spots and the buildings and arrangements have such a good quality it is really a fun to snap pictures there. Besides you can go window shopping as well, but that’s a totally other story :p

Meeting an old friend of mine…

Sometimes you just hand around spend some free time cleaning your inventory or make new stylings when you suddenly hear the familiar sound of your IM window… “Ding Ding”. I looked up and saw that Enna Flatley was contacting me. I met Enna years ago on an RP sim and we spent quite sometime together and used to talk on a daily base. The RP vanished some when and sadly many of the old contacts as well, what is quiet normal I guess especially if you head for different directions. I chose the modeling and she already started to design clothing. But since she and her partner started mostly with Neko stuff, I twas our of my focus for alonger time. I have to admit as well that one of my long time favourite sneakers still are from back then ;). Anyways, Enna IMed me as she wanted to ask me something regarding a show she was planning to do and so we started to chat again. After some time she asked me if I would not like to come over and see her new store. She told me that she no runs her own business since her partner left SL quite a while ago.

As I landed at her Mainstore I really was surprised. No Neko stuff anymore but amazing mesh clothing for male and female. Mostly mesh made I saw various casual and sporty complete outfits, tops, pants and shoes. Enna asked me what I would like the most and I told her a few things that really caught my attention. I was not even finished tell her what I like and why, as I found various designs of hers in my inventory ;).

So this means I have some parts to play with and I would like to start with a mix and match of some parts of ENNA.

For today’s styling I had – I have no clue why – David Beckham in mind. I started with the mesh “Vintage Jeans” in dirty blue. The amazing mesh jeans are textured with amazing blue and brown shades and you nearly can feel the denim fabric and see the dust when you clap your upper leg 😉 The folds are super amazing set and you really get the idea of a used jeans. At the ENNA Mainstore you will find 4 different colors of the “Vintage Jeans”. The “Female Jacket”, as well  mesh made comes with a little special feature. Driven by a HUD you can choose if you wanna wear it with or without a shirt under the jacket and you can change the color of that short with the HUD as well. With the super cool mesh “Sneakers” I really fell in love. The are so amazingly detailed, you can see every little part of the fabric and the lights and shadows make them looking really 3D. To complete my cool Beckham look, I added the “Amida” earrings and necklace from Mandala and the “Grappa Pieva” hair from LoQ.

This will be certainly not my last post about the designs from ENNA, but if you cannot wait you maybe wanna make your way over to the ENNA Mainstore and see for yourself 😉

Sometimes you just fool around with your clothes and have no direction where it will go to. This happened again to me today. I anyways wanted to sort my inventory and see all the still boxed clothes I got and all of those mystical boxes that have weird names and I cannot remember what they contained :p Such days as well mean you will be able to make your inventory less heavy, as you delete old stuffs or stuff that you maybe never wear again for what ever reason 🙂

All of a sudden I remembered this amazing  “Knotted Jeans” from M.o.w. I put them on and slowly a look sneaked in my mind. The cool rock chic, with her bleached hair and the dark makeup. She finished her gig with her band, where she is the singer. She did not wanna go back to the hotel by bus and decided to walk home to enjoy the wonderful spring night.

She still was wearing her white tank top from Maitreya, with she was singing her last song on stage. As it was a little wet still from sweating, the nights not yet so warm, she put on her black “Open Sweater” to not get a cold, as she had more gigs to come this week. Because of the same reason she decided to put on her “Long Scarf” from Maitreya, that she got a long time ago and that squired her, since she started to sing in bands.

Her old, worn “Triumph Boots” from [GOS] are her talisman for so long and you can see that, as the leather looks used and the sleeves that hang down are a little more grey than they should be 😉

Her hair style got the name “Sarina”, and she remembered how much fun she has as she was at EMO-tions, one of her hair stylists and they as well gave her the “Bruce” earring for her left ear, after they pulled most of her hair to the right side and shaved parts of the left to give her a cool look for the stage.

As Mirja Mills was done with her hair, Malicia Python, chief makeup artist of Silken Moon, was already waiting. She painted this awesome eyeliner around her eyes, added one more line on each side – one up and the other below and colored her lips in a deep black before she added some glitter round the eyes in opposite to the two extra black lines and some on her cheeks. It really felt great, like always to be prepared instead of doing all by yourself 😉

After this amazing walk through the night, where her mind was drifting away, she reached her hotel. She took another dep breath of the wonderful night air, before she entered the front door of the hotel.
