Sometimes it is just a Discord call and you got a new sponsor for your blogging *giggles* It wasn’t planned in any way… it just happened. I did follow the releases or Rubedo for quite a while, since my friend Chey told me she got a custom make up for one of her contests made by Foxy Ruby, owner and designer behind Rubedo. Today when we talked I teased her with the question if she thinks, that I would qualify for being a Rubedo blogger when we again talked about the brand again – 5 minutes later I was a Rubedo blogger *giggles* I am always a bit nervous when it comes to makeup, as I do not have too many good experiences with blogging makeup, since I am not the typical beauty, closeup, clean blogger. But Chey is the blogger manager and she knows my work so… lets give it a try!
I do like creative, unusual makeups and eyeshadows, they do give a face character and you can do so much with a certain color and style. When I tried the “Titania” eyeshadow,I instantly had the vision of one of those popular tattoo models in RL. I do not remember her name, but she does wear colorful and bold makeup when she does TV shows, events and interviews. I do like the dark casual, urban, Goth looks a lot anyway and so it wasn’t too hard to come up with a matching look 😉
To match the “Titania” eyeshadow from Rubedo, I used one of the lipsticks I recently got at Top1Salon. So the green was set already, as I liked that combo of black and green (certainly the eyeshadow comes in 13 more colors so you can find the one you need for your look) and I came across my usual problem – one shade of green now I need to find fingernails with the perfect matching shade of green – that can end up in a headache! But not of you have the awesome “My Nails” from L’Emporio! You can hide the text in the nails and with their amazing HUD you can have preset colors PLUS you can edit them with a colorfield.
Vegas now does tattoos that work with the LeLUTKA EvoX heads. At Uber they do have one of their newest releases called “Siren” and it perfectly matched the look which I was going for. The incredible amazing necklace was made by AsteroidBox while the cool rings are from Eclipse Art Studio. Now who made that super cool glasses? Certainly CerberusXing! Those glasses are available in gold and silver and you get a HUD to texture the lenses in 8 different colors and as well each of them separately.
I am super excited what else the Rubedo makeup will challenge me to develop – I am looking forward to it 😉
