Deanna is our contribution to this round of the Gacha Garden. Deanna is a versatile gacha that allows styles from sweet to sexy. You are going to want all the parts of this gacha, there are so many ways it can be worn! Deanna is made for Maitreya’s Lara only. All metal parts have a gold/silver option. The Seed of Inspiration (SoI) is the corset and is only available during the event and never again! The SoI is given on top of each 20th pull of the machine during the event.

This round of The Guardians we have our first ever mesh lingerie! And of course it is 100% original! Evelyn is made up of 5 rares and 25 commons… the RARE items are: the bra, panty, garter belt, corset, and stockings, that comes with a texture changing HUD for all the variety you could want. Flight of Fancy into the Darkness

At the moment I am trying to learn new PS tricks and techniques. I discovered my likings for dark background pictures with a very simple set and more extra ordinary poses, so that the focus is more on the person and the items that are being showcased.

When I started to work with black backgrounds, usually they looked kinda flat and I was wondering how you can still have the imagination of a room even if it is all dark. But som subtile lights which are not even really noticeable, will do the trick I read. The shadows on the avatar will as well help with that if you have something throwing shadows on your avatar that you, that you not really see. There are so many more things like reflections and what not, that I still try to learn properly before I am coming up with picture :p

Today it would be The amazing lingerie from Blacklace, the super sexy high heels from Glamistry and the adorable and incredible jewelry from EarthStones, which I would like to showcase.

I had the great pleasure to take a photo of Abraxxa Anatine, designer and owner of EarthStones, for the last issue of the Spotlight magazine. Abraxxa is such a wonderful and lovely person and her creativity has no limits. While we were shooting she was wearing one of her latest releases, the “Flight of Fancy” jewelry set.

When I saw it, I immediately fell in love with it. It was made for the last round of TLC but I am sure it will be in her main store now.

The set contains a pair of earrings, 2 bracelets as well as a short and along necklace. The details on this set are incredible. With the butterflies and the little studs and gems and all the filigree chain links… just amazing. The Set as well is HUD driven so you can customize the colors to your personal likings and your look.

For the shoes, I decided to go with the latest release of Glamistry. The “Lilium” heels are a pair of super sexy pumps. I love the high plateau heel on them and as well the simplicity. With that you can see the wonderful leather texture if the shoes and as well the great details like the seam.

The super cool nail polish was made by ChloeElectra for her brand .alme. I love the golden geometric lines that run over the colored nail 🙂 and with the color they matched amazing to the jewelry and the lingerie!

The lingerie is not just an applier! This time Blacklace came out with a wonderful negligee made of mesh with a sexy transparency.  The panties and the garters are made of mesh as well, only the stockings are mesh body appliers. “Kelsey” you can purchase in many different colors as always with Blacklace designs 🙂

The sofa I used was made by Katink. originally it comes with some poses, but for this post I just used various other poses and adjusted them to the sofa 🙂

Today, again I have some lingerie. Lingerie is always something difficult for me as I do not want something boring, nor I wanna over do it especially, if it is such a delicate and filigree lingerie like the “Iris” set from Salt & Pepper at the WCF7.

The set contains bra, panties and a HUD with 6 color options. Matching to that you can get the “Iris” collar which as well has a HUD for 6 satin and 6 metal colors.

The lingerie set is a wonderful mesh ensemble made of satin and lace. Salt always amazes me with her ideas for designs as well as with her detailed outfits and meshes, not even to mention her insane texturing skills. The lingerie is so body tight… on the first view you would think, it is a body applier, but it is really mesh work ON the body!

The tattoo is – how could it be different – from White Widow. It is no secret. that Julie Hastings is one of my favourite… if not my absolute favourite tattoo creator.

If you ever tried to make applier clothing or – in the past – layer clothing, you probably realized that making something detailed for the SL body is not easy. You have to fight seams, you have to fight blurry moments especially on body parts that allow more curves, as you never know who the shape of the users will be. If you look at Julie’s tattoos under this perspective, you only can imagine how much skills and time she puts in her creations.

The amazing shoes I as well found at the WCF7. Phedora made the awesome “Coax” boots with the huge HUD of 25 trendy colors. The knee-high boots have a wonderful laced front and around the legs they are held with straps and buckles.

I loved the interoperation of the several lace parts on the shoes, the lingerie and as well on the tattoo with the fishnet looking parts, that as well gave the imagination of lace.

Like I mentioned at the beginning most of the items are available at the Whore Couture Fair 7 (WCF7). The variety of designs on that event are just amazing. I am sure that there is something for everyone at that event and I will have for sure some more from there in the near future 😉

The Whore Couture Fair 7 is really worth a visit as you have so many different styles of sexy, seductive and even provocative from some of the best designers in SL.The fair is open until March the 31st so you still have time to take a look 😉

Enoying my first few days of my Vacation with [sys] ;)

Finally my summer holidays are here – YEAH! Yes, teachers desire vacation as much as students *grins*

6 weeks of mot getting up to early and living my true nature as a night owl again :p

It really does feel nice, if you actually can spend time and just roam around instead of just having 2 to 3 hours to create and work in SecondLife. First I started to unpack a lot of boxes, which came too short over the past few weeks because of the final exams at school and all the events that come for the end of year of school.  My first box already had something very cool in it… the new “Ride” outfit from [sys]. The whole outfit contains a bra, shirt, shorts and a wrapped shirt around your waist. There are different color combinations available but each one comes with a HUD to customize it a little more. You get 2 options per HUD for each part.

While I was opening all those boxes that got to me over the last couple of weeks I found one goodie after another, what means, there will be a lot of posts over the next few days o guess ;). Another amazing item, which perfectly matched the “Ride” outfit from [sys.], was the “Equals” tattoo from White Widow. That awesome art piece covers the arms all the way down with flowers in wonderful shadings. Now certainly I needed some cool glasses, which I found at Haysuriza – A place I really love to go if I need some cool, more urban casual looking glasses ;).

The totally awesome hair I am using, certainly comes from one of my favourite hair designers in SL… EMO-tions 😉 The “Bernadette” hair does have the perfect touch of smart, urban and casual as well as a lightly rebel look, that I love so much for my more private and urban looking looks 🙂 And now for the jewelry… I know Pris will kill me again – like she always does if I am wearing something “old” that might be not any longer available – but old does not automatically mean bad in my opinion. Sometimes, designs, creations or items do never get old. The look and the skills used to handcrafted them can make them long time goodies. Certainly sometimes weird moving flexies from 2008 might appear old but as well if you take a look at the nowadays designers who use flexible prims again to mix them with new mesh creations… they change in their look and as well improved in their movements. Sometimes it has even a huge plus and adds some kind of uniqueness if you use some of your long time favorites, as they just might add the little extra on your look. Don’t get me wrong I am not saying keep all your old items… but sometimes a few are worth it 😉

Saying that, my jewelry for today comes from YS&YS and has quite some years on it’s back in my inventory 😉 The “NEW Silver” set with a part flexible earing and the wonderful necklace just made the perfect addition for the look.

In the end I really do believe in a good mixture of new and older items to finalize a look. sometimes those old items even bring back some great memories to a show yu walked, a shooting you had or even from who you got them. With all our run on new releases, do not forget about some things, that might appear old on the first view.. on a second view they can quiet be nice *winks*

Stunning and Seductive – News @ Blacklace!

Today I am very honored to showcase you one of the latest releases from Blacklace.

The “Amalthea” set, is a wonderful ensemble of corset, bra and panties. The whole ‘outfit’ does work for mesh bodies as well as for the standard avatar. The corset is a mesh prim, while the bra and the panties come as payers or appliers.

The corset has a very detailed texture and with the awesome roses decorating the hips this stunning piece is a must have lingerie piece!

If you take a closer look on the appliers, you again will see the love of the detail the designer put in to that wonderful set.

I added some of my favourite nylons from AviCandy and the wonderful “Fea” necklace from Salt & Pepper. The wonderful head piece comes from Modern Couture. For th e hair I decided to go with the “Bethany” hairstyle from EMO-tions.

Certainly for such a delicate and seductive lingerie I needed some more simple but high quality pumps, which I found at Glamistry.

The little photo set I did built myself with items from Bee Designs. The amazing “Charlotte Daybed” with the “Charlotte Rugs” was just the perfect scenery for this pictures. With the light textures it was a perfect contrast to the black version of the !Amalthea” lingerie from Blacklace.
