“Just relax, it’s all right. Relax and enjoy the pain.”
[Marilyn Manson]
I wish I would have had time earlier than today to do this post, but my RL again was unexpected stressful this week. The original reason for this picture was the past Humpday Sale on Wednesday this week, but you can find it now for a regular price at his new main store.
I was allowed to be a vendor model again after a long time – not speaking of being on my own vendors for the store but for a designer and his new product! I remember days, where you were booked to be a vendor model for designers in SL. Sometimes you got some pocket money for that, or you were given clothing and accessories you did model, sometimes you even had to give that back and were given a gift card for the store if it was limited items like at JCNY a jewelry store that sold limited exclusives sometimes.
Over the time more and more designers started to render their adverts in Maya, Blender or any other 3D modeling programs and vendor jobs became really rare. Sometimes if you git lucky and were a store model for a certain designer you were used as vendor or advertisement model but other than that those jobs sadly vanished.
Maybe you can imagine, how excited I was when Sir Skye Nefekalum IMed me, asking if I would have time to be on one of his vendors of his incredible tattoos. I felt like a little girl and kinda wanted to leave what I was doing in that moment and run to his working platform, but I tried to remember my education and just asked if iI could finish real quick what I was doing – I was lucky and happy when he agreed and asked me to tell him when I am done do he could TP me. It was cool to get an item send and ask for visions and requirements for the styling and follow those directions again like in the good old days 🙂
After the shooting, Sir Skye had another creative moment and did one more picture of us with me still wearing the “Genetic Parasitic” while he changed to one of his previous releases called “Priesthood”. I always adore his work and recently even had a wonderful profile picture done by him (showed above), so when he asked if we can do another picture or a teaser picture, I was all for it certainly *snickers* He again did not disappoint with his creativity and when he showed me the result I was blown away. His artistic way of seeing and projecting things, as well as the deeper meaning of them are just incredible amazing. I had the pleasure to be allowed to know him a little bit more lately and the person behind the mystic avatar “Azram Belwraith” is such an amazing artist with visions beyond the Ordinary so much… I am really lucky, that I am allowed to call that person a friend now. If you like his work as much as I do and would like to see your avatar photographed and post processed with his special visions and skills, I guess he has his client list open again for custom pictures you just need to IM him to schedule a shoot, or talk about his photography rates.
But now I would like to focus again on the super awesome “Genetic Parasitic” tattoo of Nefekalum Tattoos. When he first showed me a short video of it (HERE), I thought it was a mesh implant for the spine, as it looked so realistic and showed such a great depth… then he told me it would be his newest tattoo and I was speechless. Such a detailed open spine and not only an open wound but as well amazing surroundings like little veins and/or ruptures. With the mesh bodies that support materials already on the basic body layer, as well as the tattoo layers (in my case the Belleza Freya) you really can do a lot these days to get a super realistic look. He as well includes the BoM layers AND the Omega Advanced options for nearly all of his tattoos. If you would like to see more of Sir Skye’s work you might consider to take a look at his new shop HERE.
I would like to say thank you for that great opportunity, Sir and hope secretly that this might have been not the last time *blushes*
