The Beginning – Very first show of Mea Culpa by Opium – Show Review

On the 21st of May, Tatanka Kaligawa – owner and designer of Mea Culpa – presented the first time his new creations on the runway. Mea Culpa is a very young label and basically goes for avantgarde and haute couture… the special things but also Tatanka tries to hold them realistic and wearable.

The runway that Opium builded was dreamy and unique. Colorful fantasy elements and the amazing color changing runway gave a wonderful frame for the lovely creations of Mea Culpa.

The models used particles to make the magic mystical feeling perfect. I will try to give you a little imagination of what it looked like, even if the pictures cannot carry the great feeling that you had being live at the show 🙂

My first outfit was the “Moon Rose”. On the first view a simple looking little, tight dress. But if you look closer you can see that it is not just made of a simple plain black texture. It let imagine sweet folds on the whole dress.

Highlights are definitely the lace stockings and the fluffy boa…and my personal highlight is the headpiece. A big flower with an amazing laced veil that repeats the lace character of the stockings and gloves.

My second outfit was the “Blue Dragon Blade”. A complete outfit with boots. The blue and silver combination was perfect for blue particles 😉 The center of that outfit are the long and flexible needles and spikes that wave around you if you move. It has a lightly warrior touch and a very fantasy basic.

The outfit comes as a “ready-to-wear” with dress, hair piece and boots. The texture is a rough material and a color combine of silver black and blue. The boots also carry spikes and thorns to match the outfit perfectly.

“Storm of passion” I already showed before in another blog post. A very strong outfit with a dark mystic touch.

The perfect addition for this outfit were the new Stiletto Moody – “Bare Fay” wildset heels with the great python print… for me they matched perfect 🙂

My last out fit for that incredible show was the “Bound for Hell”, one of the latest releases of Mea Culpa.

“Bound for Hell” a very special and huge outfit. It looks a little bit as a dark priestess or even the devils wife 😉 The great hood gives a wonderful mystical touch and all the big, flexible attachments make it lightly mystical. Basically the body is covered by a lace suit. The great shoulder attachment adds a lightly dangerous look. To cover the “private” parts The top has a black ornamented texture and the pants are black too carrying the same wonderful red and silver decoration.

Again the best match for me were ankle boots from Stiletto Moody. “Bare Lucille” completes the strong and extravagant look of “Bound for Hell” perfectly.

Mostly all poses for that show were made by Arisia Ashmoot, owner and designer of  Body Talking.

Exxess – Show the stylish wild side in you!

Exxess… impressive, extravagant, stylish and wild! 😉

I am very happy to show you a few of the outfits that really caught my attention 😉

I would like to start with the “egyptian”

Who can resist a wonderful girl in a golden silk? With this dress you will be the queen of the night! All you can see actually on the picture is part of this great outfit. The shoes made of sweet straps and a great high heel. The skirt is made of an amazing back part with an open front. The middle of the front is decorated with a long strap is made of 2 parts imagening one going down in front of the belt knot and one behind. The top it self only has a chest part that covers the private parts perfect without wearing a clothing layer. It looks like 2 little gems with a kind of sunbeams that go down of them. For the arms you have great cuffs that look very powerful and give a nice addition to the filigree chest part. The golden “orwell” hair also is made by Exxess and you can find it in different colors also at the Exxess Mainstore.

My second outfit would be the “Executioner”

This outfit really kicks me. It shows off a lot of power and it has so has many great details that I fell in love with… and in the end it looks damn sexy!!!

The pants are made of a great black texture and the great shoes carry lots of the great details I talked of before. The shoe tip is decorated with an angle that you will find as a sweet jewelry for the face again and also on the great bangles or on the belt… The belt itself is also a great, with love for the detail made accessoire and it is decorated with a nicel flexi whip^^. All jewerly parts like the bangles, tha armbands and also the necklace and the face jewelry come with the outfit.

The great “peacock” hair in green are a perfect addition and it looks like it was made for this outfit! Also this hair you can find in different colors at the Exxess Mainstore.

Last but not least we have the “Poizzon” in red:

It is a very sexy but powerful outfit with many sweet prim attchments that make it to a definitly fashion piece. The great boots are included in the outfit. A very amazing prim skirt with lots of floating parts wavs nicely round your legs with every movement you do. The top is a stunning corsage with great lace spaces that underline the sexy shape awsome. All the lovely jewelry are also part of the outfit, like bangles, the upperarm bangles, legbands and the necklace!

The hair “zsadist” is also made by Exxess. It is one of the much amazing creations that you can find at the Exxess Mainstore in very great colors.. even some unusual ones 😉

Overall a great outfit to show off you little “wildside” in you 😉

Nikita Fride Opener

Today I have the great honor to present you an outfit of Nikita Fride. Nikita Fride for me is one of the great designers that try to do unusual things…what I love much 😉 If you search for some stylish and crazy you shoudl definatly make your way to Nikita Fride. I have the perfect outfit for every gothic girl for you…The “Rebel Set”…are you ready? Are you stong enough to open the “grave”?*giggles*

This outfit comes as a full outfit(without shoes)! The basics are great ripped net pants with great open wholes! You nearly can hear the scratch as the were torn… For the top we have a nice short top that covers the chest but belly free ;-)..not to hide too much sexy skin^^. Futher we have a nice detailed jacked and a very short miniskirt..but lets take a closer look…

The net pants are great…the have many of the cool wholes that give the whole outfit a very trashy touch. The jacket makes a great difference with all the sweet lace and ribbons. The very high quality textures and the love for the detail make the jacket to a litle eyecatcher for me. The skirt also has many little details that shoudl be shown closer like the belt. Thebuckle is wonderful. A round silber circle with a pin that closes the belt of the tiny, littel mini skirt. In another closeup I have catched one of the sweet ribbons of the jacket, thatI liked so much 😉 Another great detail fo rme where the ankle parts. Each ankle is covered by a prim that looks like a kind of “ankle warmers” and the are ornamented so lovely….little chains, hearts and many little swet details you can see on them…it is simply fantastic!

Last but not least we come to a skin and hair from Nikita Fride also…”Girl Criminal” sin and “Gothic II” hair also the great “Long Eyelashes Gothic”:

A light grey skin witha pink-purple touch. The makeup is amazing strange like I love it and the hair is decorated with skulls , crosses and some barbwire…The eyelashes have little bats and are stunning detailed too…

If you wanna follow that girl on the graveyard…you should make your way to Nikita Fride…and get your outfit to impress her^^

Faster Pussycat – Another great side of a fantastic fresh label!

Faster Pussicat Punk Opener

Today I would like to show you the glamour punk side of Faster Pussycat the amazing young, stylish and fresh label of Honey Bender!

I chose to very different outfits to blog to show the wide range of this kind of clothing from Faster Pussycat.

Here is the first outfit: “BUCKINGHAM Queen of Punk”

Faster Pussicat Punk Queen

This outfit is a fantastic mix of glamour and punk. It reminds immediatly on the good old 70’s in london. The Sex Pistols would have been very pleased to have such girls around them! A big skirt in red with the “Union Jack” and fantastic black lace give the glamour touch combines with the great designed punk tiara – look at all the sweet little skulls!!! –  that looks perfect for the punky queen!

A nice black hip corsage makes the way for the punky top…Now you will ask “which top”…but yes thats the great thing I liked so much…only 2 little red heart pasties to cover the private spots! A fantastic flexi, floating lace collar gets the style back to the glamour one. The 2 big bangles match perfect to the whole look and are also part of this wonderful creation!

The second outfit I decided to show was one of my favourite ones for the Glance International Punk Show, where Faster Pussycat also was a part of. And casue the show was so much fun I would like to show you the “Bethnal” hier worn with out the big red skirt that comes with:

Faster Pussicat Punk Punk

I loved to model this outfit on the runway, because it shows off that punk do not have automatically be dirty and old..No!!!..it can be cool and stylish too, if you have the right attitude to present it and the matching acessoires! A great net fullbody stocking makes the basic for that amazing short body where we have again repeated the “Union Jack”. A great big belt with metal parts all over it, closed by a big silver metal buckle makes the perfect glam-trash look! The great wrist bands with the little skull came with the outfit.

Thank you so much Honey with that amazing trip back to the good old punk days!
