Wicca’s Wardrobe: LOTD 06/06/2012 – Rainbow

Today I would like to show you one of my styling ideas I had for the now finished LeeZu contest. One of the ‘Color me This’ contest themes was called ‘Rainbow’ and you had to mix and match as much colors as possible and still present a good look.

I really wanted to showcase it in a special way. More in an artsy way than I usually do my own pics. I was thinking for a longer time for the right photographer as suddenly an old friend came to my mind. The wonderful GM Nikolaidis, owner and creator of Fluke poses. I admired his graphic work for longer by watching his flickr and from past time shoots he did of me for designers. I had no clue he does clients work as well! After I found that out I ran into his IM asking him if he would do the pictures for me LeeZu rainbow style and he agreed!!!

So all the wonderful pictures of this post are made by GM Nikolaidis 🙂 Now lets take a closer look of the style it self. I tried to combine as much colors by using LeeZu items and outfits only.

To have a base to work from I started with the dress. The “Catch Lily” dress is a longtime favourite of mine and so I began with taking 2 different colors for top and skirt of the “Catch Lily” dress – blue for the skirt and beige for the top. To add some more colors, I took the “Cat Tights”in yellow and put the “Anna” stockings in spring to put them over the tights. For the shoes I decided to go with the “Street Blues Boots” in mixed red and for the hat I used the “Natty Scarf Pin” as well from LeeZu. Just a few items  are non LeeZu items and I will credit them in the style card at the end 😉

I would like to thank GM Nikolaidis for his amazing pictures… I never dreamed about such pics ;). To see all the wonderful LeeZu creations you best take a look at the LeeZu Mainstore and if you catch the right time maybe I meet you there while my store shift 😉

Pret-a-Porter Couture at Egoisme!!!

Lately Ramses Meredith, owner and designer of Egoisme, ran into my IMs. I love the way he approaches me every time we talk, as he comes on his point very fast 😉 He told me about a new direction for Egoisme and that he would like to move more and more towards couture… Pret-a-Porter and Haute Couture. For the Pret-a-Porter he takes a lot of inspiration from the realife fashion catwalks and with the new possibility of mesh he made some amazing creations. For the Haute Couture direction he as well has his plans but that I will bring on a nother blog post.

For today the focus is on the first of 3 creations of his new ‘Pret-a-Porter Women Couture’ line. The “Lolita” dress comes with matching boots in different colors. For my post I chose the beige version. The dress and the boots are made with mesh and so you have an amazing movement for every step and motion you do. The mesh boots have no weird unnatural parts at the knees anymore and the dress just fits perfect, even from the past SL times :P. The ‘Pret-a-Porter Woman Couture’ line from Egoisme starts off with a  cute and fresh summer look in a casual, but still chic style. So the new outfits are all inspired by european styles as far as I was told and the are still even if they are casual, have a lot of elegance, luxury and it will be all outfits you can wear more than just once on a special event. As I said the “Lolita” dress is only one of 3 outfits I got so far and so you can look forward to more awesome news of the new Egoisme ‘Pret-a-Porter Women Couture’ line in the near future on my blog for sure 🙂
