2013 – Today at LeeZu

Usually I am more into black and dark colors, but today I had a little bit of a pastel mood*grins*.

I started with the “Lana Top” in baby blue. The special satin set always comes in a basic color and a white neck part. I added the “XXX Tie”. The white version of it is modify, so I was able to change it a little bit, to give it the light pink color.

The “Victoria” pants are one of the lasted releases from LeeZu. I loved the idea of a lightly vintage looking basic paired with modern furniture and some modern accessories. The “Lana Top” ends right under the chest, I wanted to cover my belly a little more, since in Germany the weather really became rainy and cold, as I am sitting here freezing lightly I though a light autumn look would be the right choice 😉 . To bring the light pink of the top and the beanie back, I added the “Cat Tights”, as well from LeeZu. The cool “Piccadilly Overknee Boots” are one of my all time favourites. I love how the perfectly fit to my legs and with the mesh technique, you have no more weird angles round your knees when the bend.

The amazing bag comes from 22679. The made those for the L’accessorie event in various colors and I chose the white/white version for this post. The amazing lightning and shadows really give this bag a very realistic look. With the amazing details of the buckle and the overlays it really is an awesome addition to my bag collection 😉

The fantastic furniture as well comes from 22679. The “The Challenge” set can be bought as a whole ensemble, or you can just pick out the single parts you like. The bed is available in a PG and in a mature version. The wonderful coffee table can be used with or without the decoration and as well you have the magazines and books single to decorate with them what ever you like 😉 . The lamps can be turned on and of by touching them. The single seat, which I am sitting on has different poses for laying and sitting on it and as well some couple poses. The “The Challenge” set is the perfect choice for those, who like a modern, black & white ambience.

Sometimes you just do not know where to go or what to do, you feel torn inside and you only see darkness. Sometimes your inner only feels like a big fight and you have no clue how to escape.

Sometimes it it hard to find words to describe what you wanna say. And I tried to find words for this post and they just did not wanna flow. A close friend of mine, who is way better with words and who knows me very well wrote something for me after i showed her the pics and gave her a lot of single words and emotions and I would like to share it as it really expresses, what I only could say with pictures. Thank you Mal for finding the right words for me, for knowing me and understanding me even without any words sometimes.

Wicca’s Wardrobe: Dark Indulgence

The newest addition to my store Wicca’s Wardrobe, would be a very special gown set – the “Dark Indulgence” set. Sometimes you want to showcase a wonderful gown, but not in the usual, general just beauty looking way. Sometimes it needs to have a little special attitude, that goes a little bit in a more cool and dark direction ;). For this purpose I created the “Dark Indulgence” set.

Inspired by a gothic splendor or even lightly avant garde look, I wanted to have elegant poses that have a bit more of dramatic expression 😉

For the look I chose one of my long time favourites of Miamai, the “Mourning” gown. The black gown comes with the wonderful head part and the collar. I just added the back fan from [glow] and the super amazing gloves that are compatible with my Slink hands.

To the simple textured gown I wanted to add some heavy makeup so I decided to wear the “Maudite 10” mask of the “Les Makeups” line of Miamai.

Wicca’s Wardrobe: Crazy Casual on a stormy Afternoon

The opening of my shop Wicca’s Wardrobe last night and the huge response of friends, customers and students, did really push me to make another set for my new store. Yes I am like a little girl on Christmas, because I never had a store or a brand before 😉 This new “Crazy Casual Set” is kinda some poses I always wanted to have an never found them.

Even everyday moments can be very special. Most of them are poses, that happen during the day , when you are walking around and you do not even realize them. What I realized while I made the poses, it looks very funny when you try to make static poses that are part of a movement you do not even notice when you do it 😉 If you look out on the grid there are hardly any poses, that look like real snapshots, where you just catch a moment. For that special moments, a realistic and casual picture, the “Crazy Casual Set” is made 🙂

For today’s styling I used a combination of LeeZu and M.o.w. The super cool “Suspender Jeans” in that tartan fabric looking texture with the loose suspenders really caught my heart. First I wanted to make an urban casual with it, but then I thought you even can make something chic out of it and tried the “Tasia” jacket from LeeZu. The jacket for me was something new and very special for me. The first time when I put it on, I thought I did have rezzing problems. Then I jumped… NO! it was supposed like this!!! I never saw a mesh jacked with a half open arm. The upper side of your arm is nude and the bottom part is covered and even carries some little decorations… just amazing.

For the location, I thought I can use the deviousMind sim, that I was talking about in one of my last posts. The whole sim has so many amazing secret spots and the buildings and arrangements have such a good quality it is really a fun to snap pictures there. Besides you can go window shopping as well, but that’s a totally other story :p

Wicca’s Wardrobe: I have my first own store!

Today is a very special day for me. I got my first Mainstore for Wicca’s Wardrobe. I recently started to make poses for my blog and I got asked again and again why I would not sell them.

I thought about and after being scared for quite some time, I started to sort my poses and tried to make a few mini sets. Each of my regular pose sets will have 5 poses, which you can buy single or even as a fatpack with a discount on it 😉 .

I thought about what kind of poses I would like to make. There is already a lot of amazing runway pose makers out on the grid and a few are very close friends of mine. I am not a very competitive person and so I decided to make special sets for a special purpose. For example when I needed some cool casual jeans poses and could not find what I had in mind I just made me some and called the set “Casual Jeans”, or when I wanted to make a post with a handbag, a more cool that elegant one I found non that matched and so the “Cool Handbag” set was born. Another time I had to pose a wonderful Azul gown with super huge flower parts and so the “Huge Flowers” set came to life.

My poses will always have a purpose for each set and maybe that’s why they will carry funny names sometimes ;).

For the opening of my very first store I wanted to make another set. I was styling the amazing “Cross Halter Dress” from R2, that I found at the Collabor88 combines with the huge “MTL” hat from [AD] Creations. This super huge hat again brought exactly the ‘find the right pose problem’ and I thought I maybe can make a new set for opening my first Mainstore with a “Big Hat Fun” set 😉

I wanted to have some not just nice and sweet lo9oking poses for that huge hat since the mesh dress is kinda special 😉

For my new brand Wicca’s Wardrobe, I wanted to make a new clear logo. I wanted to cut back on one letter only, but I wanted to keep the snake that was with me for such a long time now. Snake is my asian zodiac as well so it has a special meaning to me 😉

Wicca’s Wardrobe: LOTD 06/05/2013

Today I was in a weird mood and just styled away. I started with the “Mesh Tube Dress” with the huge fluffy neck part, because I anyways was sorting my GizzA folder and I fell into my hands. I thought about a concept or an idea for the rest of the look and there was noting in my head at all, so I kept searching through my inventory and tried various things. Then I came across the new hat, that I got from Xenobia Foxclaw. She told me she will have a show in the beginning of June, where all her new hats get released. When I tried the “Jones Black” hat I was sure that this will be part of my look. Now the head gave me some direction in which way it could go. The hat turned the dress into a cool look for me, so I tried to find some leggings and overknee boots. The “Cat tights” from LeeZu were my choice and the light grey color went perfectly to repeat the light color of the dress. Together with the “Piccadilly Overknee Boots” from LeeZu it really turned into some cool and young look. I remembered my “Fame Shades” from epoque. I had them for such a long time and did not use them for so long… that will be the time to change it 😉

Now I would like to drag your attention on the scenery. The house that I used for the background was made by 22769. It is a wonderful and as well very modern house. It has one huge room so enough room to built a wonderful hideout for yourself. The walls are mostly glass with a your structure and shape that gives you the feeling, you own an artistic and unique home. The house has 2 doors, one front door that you reach over a few steps and a backdoor that leads you out on an amazing terrace. The terrace has a wooden ground and some sand parts that remind you on those Zen sand places with those stones. The terrace as well has stairs so you can reach the ground again, since the house it self is built on columns. The grey, black & white colors made a perfect match and background for my today’s look 😉

I made new Poses!!! The Huge Flowers Set

And I did it again 😉 Lately I found a lot of fun in making my own poses for my blog posts and I got asked so many times why I wouldn’t put them for sale… so I did 😉 The reason why I started making my own poses was that I have a lot of times wild outfits or special stylings that do not lemme use some of my amazing poses that I already have in my inventory. So all of my poses will have a special purpose. The new set is called “Huge Flowers“, because of the huge flowers that decorate the dress. I tried to snap this amazing “Anima” gown from Azul. All of the poses I used had the hands in that flowers somewhere or were just too simple for that stunning dress. I am sure you all know that, you wanna pose an outfit and every pose you try you find another part that does not look right, ir your hands are in the prims or the prims move weird with the pose. So I thought I make a few special ones for this purpose 😉 So if you like them, grab the taxi and try them 😉 You will find them at the landing spot of the Silken Moon Mainstore, where have now all my 3 sets out. Wicca’s Wardrobe: Lady in Red No.1

A few days ago I met again a person, that was very important in my life for quite some time. It was in the beginning times of my SL. He was always there for me and helped me a lot when my RL was not that shiny as it should have been. We had a wonderful time together, that I will never forget…

A few days ago when I was looking through my friendlist, I still saw his name and even when he was offline I felt I had to leave him a few lines just .. just because I felt I had to 😉 As I logged in the other day again, he wrote me and answer and after sending offliners back and forward we made it to be online to the same time even if it sadly only was a few minutes. We met at his home ant it was a great feeling to see each other after such a long time. I still heard the ducks that I remember so well… the time we could spend was way too short but before he had to log we danced to our song once again and that really brought up the old memories in a very emotional way. It is a song that is very special to us because of many reasons, which I would like to keep as a secret but I will not hide the song itself 😉 The song is called Lady in Red from Chris de Burgh. Sadly due German music rights, I found no good quality file on youtube to share but I would like to share the lyrics:

As I wanted to dedicate that post to Ryyan, I wanted to bring back the lady in red kinda 😉 Miamai had a wonderful red dress in their latest releases. The “Esther” dress. It had a wonderful red version and so I decided to take that as the base for my Lady in Red No.1 😉 I have some more in mind at the moment so I call it my Lady in Red No. 1 😉

The wonderful floppy hat is a special version made for me by Baboom and for the jewelry I decided to go for the “Shameless” necklace and bracelet from Finesmith and some earrings where I do not even remember the label anymore as I have them in forever 😉 Since the Lady in Red always had something mystical for me I wanted to cover her eyes with some glasses that kinda hide them and I chose the “Cubism Shades” from epoque.

There is things in the past what never will be the same again, but still the memories noone can take from you.

Today I was in a little black mood again and wanted to do something semi formal, elegant but still something artistic. Sometimes you have something in your mind and it just does not wanna come out. I was trying for over 2 hours … different outfits, accessories.. nothing wanted to ‘click’ in my mind and set something free or meet my imagination or feelings. The all of a sudden I came across the “Haudrey Night” head piece from SoliDea FoliEs. That was a great basic to start with. I looked through all the new releases from SoliDea FoliEs to find a matching outfit. The “Sofia” dress was the perfect outfit and slowly the idea for the style and picture were growing inside my head 🙂

The tight shoulder free dress and the wonderful head piece let room for some extravagant jewelry. Not too long ago Finesmith released the set that was made for the Finesmith Muse 2014 poster. The set contains two chest and two body parts. in silver with light green gems and light pink flowers. The “Haudrey Night” head piece has some black pearls on it and i wanted to bring them back, so I added the bracelet from the “Maniko” set as well from Finesmith.

Now I needed some scenery and I have no clue why but a ‘Jewelry Tree’ was stuck in my mind all of a sudden. I did not wanna have a spring tree with lots of petals and stuff and I remembered an old dead tree I bought ages ago for an event deco. To decorate the tree with jewelry I needed something that brings something organic with it. The”Love doesn’t grow on trees” set! yes that could be an idea. Finesmith released this set last year and I already fell in love with it as it came out. The combination of organic parts like the wooden parts of the eye ornaments and the wonderful combination of all those different materials and shapes in the necklace were just perfect. I only had to resize them to make them really big so that I could decorate the dead tree with them.

Now I only had to place myself into that tree and my imagination became true 🙂
