Circus Mystic for Fashion for Life 2014

During the .PENUMBRA. Fashion Week S/S 2014 I met a very creative and wonderful person. Trinity Yazimoto, owner and super creative designer of Petite Chat (*PC*). I already blogged 2 of her creations for the :PENUMBRA: Fashion Week and now she is part of the Fashion for Life (FFL) with new creations. One of those new designs is the “Circus Dress”. Again this dress was made from a wonderful picture of herself. I talked to her for a few times now and I only can imagine how difficult it is to bring those amazing paintings on mesh prims. If you ever tried to texture a mesh item, you know how back it stretches, twists and destroys the actual texture. But if you take a closer look on Trinity’s creations you can see that every little thing is sharp and in line on the clothing as it was in the art work.

The “Circus Dress” inspired me to really go against the circus idea. A longer time ago I got a wonderful gift from Daphne Klossovsky, designer of [HANDwerk]. A super sweet and cute wooden horse that looks like as it was taken out of a carousel. The colors just went perfect with the “Circus Dress” and so I finally found something I can post that amazing carousel horse with 😉 .

The “Circus Dress” is materials enabled and so you can test all those super cool new windlights with that new feature as well and can see the full beauty of that dress and as well it adds a wonderful uniqueness to the dress.

The original artworks are displayed in Trinitys little art gallery called Petite Chat Gallery (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Haddath/26/106/67).

And to keep the eyes on Fashion for Life please as well take a look at the hair. The “Josy” hair style was made by Mirja Mills, owner and creator of EMO-tions.

“Josy” has a wonderful long and flexible high ponytail and in the front some wisps fall into your face. With all those amazing features and the fact that you can have this in all the well-known colors that EMO-tion offers, this hair is the perfect addition for your everyday hairstyles.

Please make your way over to the Fashion for Life sims and help with enlarging your wardrobe, hair and accessories. All those amazing designs were made for an amazing charity that raises money for those who need the help!

Last but not least I would like to share the music, wich underlined my inspiration for the pictures while I was working on them.

Today I have the honor to start a series of posts for the amazing label Orage Creations. I know Elettra Gausman for quite some time and I always adored her creativity and ideas. Today I am happy to be allowed to showcase one of her latest designs.

The “Leather Glam” dress in the violet, metallic leather is an awesome eye catcher. The dress is fully mesh made with the huge and high belt that reminds me about the 80s a little bit. The violet version is only one of all those amazing colors that you can choose from. For the belt you will get a HUD that allows you to change the metal texture between gold and silver.

The wonderful jewelry, wich I chose to wear with the “LEather Glam” dress from Orage Creations is the “Midbar” set from Finersmith. The whole set is menu driven and you can decide about the color of the gems, metals and pendants so that you can make sure it fits all of your looks perfectly.

At this point I really need to say a few words. Usually for events I keep it to the facts, but for this creations there is a wonderful artistic background. Trinity Yazimoto, owner and designer behind Petite Chat (*PC*), is a wonderful artist. She tries to bring her art to her clothing. Like you can see in the first picture, to nearly every dress there is a painted picture as a base. I talked to her about it – she really is a wonderful and kind lady – and she told me about how difficult it is to apply the painted art to the mesh prims. Mesh reacts very weird to some textures, so you can imagine how long it takes Trinity until the actual picture shows perfect on the designs! I will try to make another post in the near future where I can spotlight this amazing creations a little more 😉 .

There are these days where you feel the little rebel inside you… Many times you get told you cannot do this, you cannot fo that, that does not work, this will never go together and if you have one of those little rebel days you just need to prove them all wrong even by doing mistakes sometimes that you will never admit :p .

Today there was such a day and when I was looking through my inventory more and more the idea of a pink and red styling was growing in my mind.

I anyways wanted to blog the new “AV Straight Leather Jeans” from Vista, so I started out with them, after I saw this fantastic red tone in the HUD. The Jeans come in various versions in different length. Usually you have the problem, that if you would like to wear some cool shoes with mesh pants, you always run into trouble, that they just eat up the shoes or you get some weird flickering if you try to add boots over the pants. With the “AV Straight Leather Jeans” those times are over. 5 different length of the pants make it possible that you can experiment with different shoes or boots. For today’s post I decided to go with the number 2 version, as I found the cool and as well funny “Abdomination Bitey Meaty Boots” from Curio Obscura and the number 2 was the perfect one for the half-long boots.

Dressed with pants and boots.. maybe a little too less :p . What to wear for the top… ? I was sure I wanted to use one of the latest releases from Finesmith, the “Iris” set, but what to wear as a basic as I did not wanna go half-naked. It should be something soft, which does not overload the upper part of the body with the “Iris” set, plus I wanted to have a very soft pink to bring back the baby pink of the “Abdomination Bitey Meaty Boots”. The “Valerie Blouse” from LeeZu was the perfect choice. With the delicate and super amazing detailed texture and the awesome soft pink color it makes a great base for the jewelry.

Because the jewelry had such an amazing and huge headpiece and I was wearing the jeans, which give the whole out fit kinda a cool touch, I wanted to wear some really short, fresh and modern hair. The “Cameron” hair style from EMO-tions exactly looked how I wanted it to for this look.
The reason why I used the grey tone for the hair was, that I wanted to repeat the metal color of the jewelry.

Now the look itself was done but I still missed the little i-dot. Then all of a sudden I remembered the “”Skeletonia” hand jewelry from Formanails. This idea of the skeleton hand wrapped over the avatar hand is something that has a little story to it. Back then before we had Slink hands I always was looking about something new and crazy for accessories. At Formanails I found a skeleton hand, made of prims that covered the back of the hand inspired by Madonna. I was wearing that hand jewelry in forever and ever so often that I nearly cannot count it anymore and I never found something similar. After i upgraded my avatar with the Slink hands I really missed this accessory badly. When I talked the last time to Ivi Bing, owner and designer of Formanails, I told her, that I discovered her store over that wonderful hand accessory years ago, that I really miss it so much with the Slink hands and all of a sudden she sent me over 3 versions of the “Skeletonia”. She made it for 2 different versions of the Slink hands – casual, elegant and elgant1. This so made my day! I have my skeleton hand jewel back in an updated version with a HUD that lets you change the colors of the gems and some more little details like the safety pins and barbwire parts. Thank you Ivi!

Sometimes you do not really know what you wanna style, or what you wanna wear and then you maybe just start with the basic idea of the color. Today I was in a black & white mood.

For the base I took the amazing “Tigress Gown” by Lybra. Lybra made this for the Tiger Alley event at SAVIAD. The imagination of a white tiger is not to deny ;). The long tight shape of the mesh dress, that opens towards the floor, with its tiger looking top and the more black wider bottom was the perfect start to create one of my very own looks 😉 . If you put on a dress you have various possibilities how to style it. You can go for the elegant and pretty look, or you can go a bit more couture or wild. For today I had no particular style in mind and just followed my feelings. The jewelry I took from the “Amit” of Finesmith. Usually the set comes with a black short leather dress but the jewelry itself was so perfect to the “Tigress Gown” from Lybra, so I decided to just mix those 2 😉 The wonderful head piece with the flower heads wich were repeated at the bracelet and the chest part give some kind of a spring feeling even if they are black. The petals that run down over the face for me give a lightly mystic or dreamy looking attitude to the whole look.

Now the whole look became bit too elegant for my actual mood and I remembered the amazing “Gacha Horns” that I got from a gacha at the Arcade. Those made the perfect contrast to the basic elegant look 😉 .

The amazing necklace as well was made for a gacha with a lot of different colors. Natzuka made those and as well some wonderful spring looking rings for her gachas at the SAVIAD Spring Fair.

And now please take look at those evil long and sharp nails… aren’t they just cool?

They are made by Formanails. Formanails started to make nails for the Slink hands not too long ago and I already had a special about them. Ivi Bing keeps herself busy and brings more and more amazing designs. The latest ones are the “XXL” nails. With an inbuilt menu you can change the textures on them by touch and I really was happy when I found a black and white one that was just perfect for my todays look 🙂

Silken Moon, Finesmith & Swallows for the FIERA Spring Fashion Fair 2014 @ SAVIAD

All those amazing creations that were made for the FIERA Spring Fashion Fair 2014 event… and so less time to showcase them all 🙁

But I keep trying, even if it might get over the time of the event itself, I really belive they all should have a spotlight 😉

For this look I combined different designs released for the event on the SAVIAD sim. The huge feather wings and the amazing matching collar are parts of the release of Finesmith of the FIERA event. The “Butterfly” in general has a matching dress as well coming with them but I liked the “Estara” gown from Silken Moon so much together with it, so I just had to put those together 😉 . The cute wrap around at the chest have such an amazing and realistic look, simply stunning. The aerial pattern Malicia put on the dress with this amazing color combinations and the filigree floral structures just made the whole dress to a perfect spring item 🙂 .

To complete the colorful spring look, I added one of the 2 amazing head pieces from Swallow. The “Butterfly” headpiece in turquoise just hit the nail on the hat for me 😉

The elegant “Allegra” hair knot at the back of the head together with the amazing hairbase again comes from EMO-tions.

The matching makeup with the soft but still deep colors I found at Silken Moon. The combination of the “SM Eclipse Centrestage Green Spleen” and the “SM Eclipse Color Eye Mauve” caught the colors of the look in an amazing way.

GizzA & PosESioN for the FIERA Spring Fashion Fair 2014 @ SAVIAD

One more post for the FIERA Spring Fashion Fair 2014 for today 😉

This time I would like to show case one of the amazing creations of GizzA at the SAVIAD sim. The “Lolita Dress” comes with leggings that have the heels included, the hat and the wonderful butterfly belt accessories. With the light brown and beige color it really gives you a feeling of the coming warmer days of spring.

For the jewelry I decided to go with the “Geula” set of Finesmith. The golden brown textures give a wonderful frame for the huge gem and with the beige of the outfit it was just as it was made for it 😉 .

To match the beautiful gem I wanted to add some more color to the beige and brown. I remembered one of the “Rainbow” eye shadows. The “Rainbow Mauve” catched the colors of the gem so wonderful and gave the whole look the little bit of color I wanted.

The little bag, I made by myself and I like it so much that I decided to make a few white ones, wich you can find at my first gacha on the SAVIAD sim as well 😉

Now I wanna share a secret with you… if you take a look on my skin… yes it is still my custom-made Wicca skin by Silken Moon, but Malicia updated it!

She made a whole new body and as well updated a lot of my facial features. And besides my usual super light tone she made me one version in the new peach tone she made for her new skin line as well! But this I would like to pull over onto a nother post with a total spotlight on my new updated Wicca 😉
