Again  I come to you with some exciting news from CerberusXing. He again made a pair of kick ass ears – the “Withered Berzerker Ears”! The ears are unrigged mesh, which gives you the possibility to resize and position them to your needs. The HUD offers texture and tinting options for skin (12 presets), piercing (black, silver & gold) and the snake ( 7 different colors). Furthermore you have 2 tattoo options with 7 different colors and the possibility to hide it. CerberusXing as well was so generous to include a skin texture map, so you can do your own modifications if you like. Doing so would require basic editing skills as you have to work with textures and applying them to the object.

Speaking of modifications, Nefekalum Tattoos offers already one called “Battle Add-On”, which I certainly had to try for my post 😉 And since I an anyways addicted to the extraordinary work of Sir Skye, I had to use one of his newest releases for my tattoo as well. I am talking about the “Inked” tattoo, which you can find at his main store. An unisex tattoo, that comes with many options and possibilities as Omega Evolved appliers with materials, Maitreya Applier, Slink Redux Applier, Catwa Applier and certainly system, BoM ready layers and he again included some optional projectors you can use to let your tattoo shine in the right light 😉

To complete my outfit I used an older but for me still super amazing gacha from CerberusXing – the “Osseous Species” gacha. What I love so much on that outfit set are the spike parts, the tubes at the collar and the colors and textures the whole ensemble is designed with. It immediately reminded me about HR Giger and so I had to make a set in that style for my pictures as well.Thank god, 22769 made some great tribute designs that perfectly worked for my idea 🙂

Since I am anyways in a space and species mood, I guess I will jump into my Mainframe event folder and see what is left in there for my next picture 😉

OMG it is BoM!!!

And again I am coming to you with the new Evolution Line of LeLutka heads – this time with Nova!

The new Evolution Line of LeLUTKA, does hold so many amazing news for the heads that you really need some time until you have them figured out fully and every second is worth it. Today I decided to go with the “mature” feature of the materials. When I took a closer look I was able to see all the cute wrinkles at the outer eye corners and the cool ones on my forehead and between the eyes above the nose. I guess that will be my everyday look now for the new head generation, as I love t to not look like a young woman anymore after all that time I was in SL now*grins* What I found out too was, that I can play with the intensity of the materials as well as the environment influence, which again opened a complete new world for me for future posts!

What I wanted to test now too, was if the amazing Axis HUD from LeLutka would still work with the new heads and – surprise surprise – it DOES! That means even if i got so many new moods and expressions I still may do my own or alter the ones that are included in the HUD.

I never was full sold on the new BoM features besides the new LeLutka heads, so I was fooling around quite a while with a BoM head and a non BoM body. Since it seems to become more and more popular (even if I still do not really see the mega advantage of it for the body) I thought I will give it a try with the “Maitreya Bakes on Mesh Relay HUD” for the Maitreya Body which is sold on MP for 0 L$ (link to the item in my credits below). What I do like with the Maitreya body, is that I still can use my appliers in addition to the new BoM feature and my alpha HUD still works normal.

So what better I could try first on my BoM enabled body than wearing one of my most favorite designers from the past days… LeeZu!!! She sadly left Second Life quite a while ago but I still have EVERYTHING I ever got and bought from LeeZu in the past. I was working there for years as a store model and LeeZu, Barb and GM became true friends of mine. With that feelings and emotions behind it, I never was able to delete all the amazing creations and now, since we can wear layer clothing again, it was the first I tried!

And guess what… it worked! With her texture skills it even looks kick ass awesome on the BoM body. Her textures always were super detailed and knife sharp so she was already ahead of her time back then, which is no surprise to me as she always was one of the very best if it came to texturing and creating her own textures.

So even if I am still not really  a stalwart supporter of the cause, I definitely enjoy wearing all my LeeZu goodies again for now! We will see what the new BoM adventure will have for me the more I take my look into it 😉

Red Trench…

I do not know why, but when I tried on the “Roxy” gacha set, I instantly had a Dick Tracy feeling *giggles* Probably it was the cool trench coat of the set 😉

The “Roxy” gacha set is an awesome collaboration between [Gos] and Lybra. While Lybra made the lingerie and the trench coat, [Gos] contributed the cool boots. The lingerie fits amazingly under the trench and for a cool RP, I can see a complete use for that *giggles* I guess I will have to showcase the lingerie some when as well, but for today I just wear it underneath the trench coat and it just pokes out here and there when my pixels move 😉

The super cute hair was my by no.match one of my personal favorite hair stores. The huge wavy hair matched perfect to my little “Dick Tracy” mood. It originally was made for the COSMOPOLITAN event but it should be at the main store by now.

Now you will wonder, why Wicca looks so ‘young today’… that has a special reason 😉

As I stated before I feel so honored to be chosen as a LeLutka blogger and I certainly want to showcase all of their amazing work.  Today I am wearing the “Vera” head. Usually I try to look like a middle aged woman between 30 and 40 with my avatar, but the Vera head had such a cute vibe for me, I could not resist to get a young skin for it too. It is incredible how you can change the look of each LeLutka head with different skins and shapes. I did not have that for other bento mesh heads that much, that is probably the reason why I am so addicted about LeLutka heads *snickers* Plus the fact that they are so versatile, they do have an amazing HUD and I never ever had trouble with controlling my head completely. I know that many do have issues with HUD s from other heads, as they are either so many different HUDs, or one way too huge that isn’t that lag resistant. I enjoy the HUDs for the LeLutka heads a lot. They are clearly structured, have several tabs, that let you customize the heads with textures and animations and you even can do backup safeties for your heads if you get updates or if something goes wrong. You do do not have to set up your head from scratch you just can use your back up to restore your settings and safed makeups/skins on a fresh copy. LeLutka update their heads on a regular base with all new features like baked mesh and they are fixing minor issues, which I rarely notice before they get fixed 😉 I soon have to make a post about the great add-ons too. Did you know that LeLutka made several candies that cooperate with their mesh heads? I love chewing their bubble gum inworld on my avatar – but that will be another post soon!

I do enjoy the winter season!

Sometimes we need a challenge, I guess to make sure we are still able to do some things 😉

So I thought about a sweet casual winter post in my very own style, but still tried to be the “good girl”*snickers* I love the cape that Hotdog had at the last We♥RP event. They had a full version with optional ribbons, which is amazing as well and they had put one version without ribbons but with some snow over the shoulders as a gift.

When I put on the cape the first time, I immediately had the vision of a Victorian look with a great up-do hair style. I loved the idea of having the hands in that cute muff in front of the belly. Certainly that requires to alpha the whole arms and hands, but it still interacts nicely with every kind of animation and pose. Looking at the cape, did more and more bring up the desire inside of me to create a different look than the initial Victorian idea.

I remembered the cool FRWL gacha from Salt & Pepper – that brought me to a new idea for my look. I did trow away the skirt idea and looked for some pants that did fit under the cape. When I found the right pants. I realized, that my upper body blinked through with some poses and so I just used a dark body applier shirt to cover that since I wouldn’t be seen anyways, but it covered the little spots that some movements brought up. The cape has a wonderful and huge golden ornament on the back and some little ones at the front as accents and I am really amazed by the folds and wrinkles that make it so realistic looking.

For the matching makeup I chose the one with some snowflakes on the face to gt a little more into the snow mood I wanted for my picture.

First I thought about a desaturated dead tree environment with lots of snow but not much else. With the beige fur on the cape, the head piece and the warm black tone the blue/black background I imagined, did not work out that great as I thought. That put me on a sim hoping journey and I found a lot of cool places for future posts, but not that what I was looking for. Suddenly I remembered, what Skye told me, when I asked her about a wintery sim. She is the expert for everything beautiful and sweet and she has a long past in Second Life as well 😉 She suggested Nymphai, one of the sims of the Ippos Collective. Duchess and Divine and many others do an incredible job to decorate their sim collective. They change for every season and have different themes on each of their sims. Some of them as well have residentials available and you have to be careful to not violate the Inhabitants’ peace and freedom 😉

Now I have to make some more looks for all the amazing sims I found on my little sim trip 😉 Enjoy the winter, even if it is cold – it has it’s advantages as well if you can get into it 😉

Summer Trend 2016 – Denim Shorties (featured in Eclipse Magazine July 2016)

Look #1

When Trouble asked me, if I would like to do a few pics for the upcoming (just released) Eclipse Magazine, I just said yes without even thinking about actual summer trends, as I really do love to take pictures and work with magazines. Then he immediately asked me, what summer trend I would like to go for… I did not look over all the summer trends the past few days, so I jumped to google to be informed before I choose.

While I was looking over all the amazing summer trends something immediately caught my eyes… Denim Shorties! All kind of shorts, mini skirts, used, with fringes and what not… That sounds like fun!

I told Trouble about my idea and he seemed to like it. First I thought this would be easy as I really do like denim in RL and SL, but I shall discover soon it sounded easier that it was in the end…

Look #2

So first of all, I looked through my inventory what kind of shorts, shorties and mini skirts in denim I would find – hell I had no clue how many non useful things I have when I type ‘denim’ in the search of my inventory…

 Most of my favourite denim things are still layers and I did not wanna use old layer items this time… and the next problem – a usual problem with mesh items – sometimes different mesh parts do not fit over each other.

But after some serious searching, I found a handful denim shorties, which I totally love. Now I just need to style them. Because I was told so often, I always only do extreme styles and mostly dark and gothic looking ones, I wanted to do 5 totally different styles for this little spread in the Eclipse Magazine.

Look #3

For my first idea – Look number 1 –  I started with the “Booty Shorts” from [M.o.w] together with the “Havana” short and head wrap from [sys], the first look went to a more boho type of style. For the accessories I went with the “Vilma” earrings and the “Sile” necklace from Kunglers paired with the “Wooden Bracelet” from artilleri.

Look number 2 is based on the “Briony Shorts” from Erratic. For that look I was inspired by a picture I saw from a country side advert, which told about the great lake sides in germany 😉 To achieve the summer casual look, I added the “Polly” top from Asia Rae and the amazing summer floppy “Laila” hat made by Zibska. For the shoes I chose the “Tropicana” wedges we made for Wicca’s Wardrobe (Yes Grand, we did that.. once *snickers*) The look I was going for,was something trendy, summer looking and as well something simple and kinda ‘girl next door’ looking.

The 3rd look, I wanted to do something more fashion forward in a hipster or clubbing look. I started off with the “Wendy Denim Skirt” made by GizzA. A super short denim mini skirt. First I added the “Dead Romance” tank from Mon Cheri, a tank I used for various styles already as it is a perfect top to go for many different looks and the sizes are made amazingly with the thought to wear something underneath. The mega trendy “Pulsar” glasses and backpack certainly come from [sys], the home for unusual and futuristic designs 😉 The cool boots I found at Stelloane.

Look #4

For Look number 4 I wanted something that I would wear RL as well. Some loosely casual but trendy and chic. something I would use for shopping or just go to the university or drink a coffee out with some friends. I always liked the ‘college girl’ look even if I am not in that age anymore 😉 The “Boyfriend Jeans Shorts” made by Maitreya, are one of my long time favourites. With their loosely fit they are a great everyday wear. I combined them with the “Liliana Top” from Glam Affair and put on the “Batschkapp” we made as a gift for the Indie Teepee event. Even if I like all 5 looks that might be my personal favourite out of them 😉

My 5th and last look is some more native and maybe gypsy looking. The idea came out of some pictures I saw of american native fashion trends. The denim shorties for this style come from GizzA. The “Loose Denim Short” was a perfect start for the idea I wanted to go for. With the lightly dirty looking fabric and the ripped trims it was just perfect to add a more simple, and light top. The “Julia” top from Asteria perfectly went with the shorts and kinda put them more in the focus. The cool necklace was one of the first original mesh releases from PurpleMoon and the incredible hat and back bag again came from [sys].

It was great fun to explore and try different things for this special spread of denim shorties and I have to admit, I found some goodies in my inventory, which I already forgot that I have them 😉

LOTD 07/16/2016 – Gradient!

Green/Blue Gradient… I have no clue why but I felt I wanted to do something with that :p

First I went through my inventory and looked for something in green and blue, when I remembered that I always loved the string and deep colors fo Zibska.

Then I saw the amazing “Zsuzsa” dress from Zibska. Originally it was made for a Thumbelina inspired event.  With the amazing leave shaped skirt and the beautiful little petals that are floating around the whole outfit it seemed to be perfect for my idea 😉

With the huge color HUD I was able to color the dress to a green/blue gradient, so I just had to fins something green for the top half of my body and something blue for the bottom. The down part was kinda easy as we released not too long ago a snorkel blue version of the “Montana”boots, that perfectly matched the idea.

The upper part was not that easy until I remembered the “Kiri” collar and head-piece as well from Zibska. Usually it is always easier to match colors if you use items from the same designer as mostly they use a close color pallet for some of their items. The green of the “Kiri” ensemble matched so perfect and when I found an option to even color the spheres in a light blue tone.

The amazing makeup is a mixture of 2 eye shadows from Nuuna’s – the “Ere Makeup”  and the “Mya Shadow” in blue and the amazing apple green “Leah” lipstick from Glam Affair.

Even if black is my favourite color, sometimes I have some colorful moments :p

LOTD 06/16/2014 – A lazy afternoon with Miamai

Sometimes in a few rare moments I like to explore the wonderful sim built by SL residents. Mostly it is on a sunday afternoon when I come home from gigs with my RL band and do not feel like working at all ;).

Sometimes I am in the mood for finding new places, wich I can use as background for pictures and sometimes I just go back to wonderful sims I saw in the past to see if they changed something there and if there is anything new.

One of the most beautiful and most popular sim is the Neva River sim.

If you wander over the sim you will find several places who are kinda locked as they are private residential but a fe spots you can explore as the owner is kind enough to let us roam around there 😉 .

If I go there I always make sure I do not disturb the residents there as I am just a grateful guest there.

For my today’s journey I was wearing one of the latest releases of Miamai. The “Dalida” dress is an awesome long shirt with kinda a bottom short skirt part. It is available in various patterns and textures and I chose the black version for today. The hat/hair combination “Happydays Wicker Hat” as well is made by Miamai. I really like it if you have hair and hat connected already, as it usually is a pain in the ass to get hair fixed under a hat :p .

The boots became on of my favourites lately. With that boots I discovered a new store that I now visit frequently to check if they have news since they have that little special twist, wich I always search for my clothing. Dirty Princess is the new place to be for me if I am looking for shows or something else lightly funky.

To complete the look and add a touch of the summer feeling that I have lately with the weather in germany, I used the “Oversized Sunglasses” from Izzie’s.

And now… I will wander around across this wonderful Neva River sim a little bit more to explore all the amazing details 🙂 .
