Hunger Games Tribute by Lybra

Today our journey through the Capitol and the Districts brings us to District 1, wich stands for luxury. How else than Lybra Rage owner and designer of Lybra could have chosen this District 😉 .

District 1 is one of the wealthiest districts of Panem. Parents from district 1 seem to name their children after diamonds or precious gems, items or fabrics, like we have Glimmer and Marvel for the 74th Hunger Games. The children of District seem to be very pride in taking part in the Hunger Games and usually are part of the Careers,  who band together to get rid of the weaker ones first.

I would like to start with “Glimmer” a wonderful light golden dress with an amazing golden back piece and a wonderful matching Tiara. The dress itself shows a lot of skin and besides the elegant and classy look that adds a sweet sexy touch as well.

The special for this outfit would be, that it is a limited gown with only 20 copies and there are not much left! So go and get your “Glimmer” dress and with that, a piece of the legendary Hunger Games Tribute Event done by Opium Evolution.

Lybra - Absinthe 01

The second outfit of Lybra for the Hunger Games Tribute is the “Absinthe” gown. In contrast to the “Glimmer” gown this one is made of a dark golden fabric with a long back train, wich is decorated at the end with some amazing feather looking prims.

Those feathers are repeated on the marvelous head – piece as well, wich almost looks like a crown and perfectly fits in to District 1.

MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Canada 2012 by Tres Beau

My last Miss Virtual World Gown from Tres Beau is the wonderful “Miss Canada” gown. The incredible gown was made for Miss Sazzy Oh, our Miss Canada 2012 for MVW 2012. Kimmera Madison again shows, how much she cares about the different countries and their traditional aspects if she designs the national costumes for MVW. If we think on Canada… for sure we imagine a lot of snow and ice. Exactly that, Kimmera took for the basic of her awesome creation. For sure her amazing skills for designing let her do something very special. The “Miss Canada” gown combines a lot of different fabrics. The shining clothing layers, that glitters and shines with every sunbeam that it kisses it, the huge fluffy fur parts on the great coat with the hoodie hanging down in the back and the little snowflakes that hang down from the waist in the front on long, filigree and flexible lines and all the awesome snowflakes and ice crystals that make the huge head-piece, the decoration of the coat and the jewelry itself.

The incredible necklace and earrings repeat the snowflakes theme and add even more glamour to the whole gown. You as well can take of the huge coat and wear the wonderful ensemble as a short dress 🙂 The dot of the “i” make some snowflakes that fall down around you like little particles… it nearly looks like you are standing in the snow :). MVW 2012: National Gown for Miss Canada 2012 by Tres Beau

This wonderful evening gown for Miss Canada 2012, Miss Sazzy Oh, again comes out of the house of Tres Beau. In a total thrilling and attention seeking pink this elegant gown turns heads no matter what. The whole design is a firework of design and texturing. Kimmera Madison, owner and designer of Tres Beau, again shows her skills and abilities. She always puts in so much love for details and perfect texturing in all of her designs, that you just can imagine how long it takes to make such a wonderful gown. The combination of smooth satin looking fabrics and the glitter and glimmer texture of the bodice and the skirt layer,just lets every girl shine like a princess. The wonderful light pink gloves underline the elegant, royal style and this gown really made a point on the MVW 2012 runway I guess 😉 The high neck part as well adds even more sophisticated highlights and the open front of the neck part allows wonderful jewelry to complete your look.
