Autumn’s Mother Heart

And there Autumn met me
with the loveliest of winds;
but a heart blown asunder
as her leaves would fall again.

She mourned like a mother
who may lose her only child.
So I looked past grand color,
to see grief in her raw wild.

The moon rose like a wizened soul,
as I swam into Autumn’s stream,
a whirlwind of warm memories
and soon-stolen wishes and dreams.

I spoke kind words that did little
to ease her deep growing beast.
She even trembled with vestiges
of leaf prints near her knees.

And so, I did the only thing
a human could truly do.
I bowed with grace before her,
and kept vigil through and through.

With bravery, Autumn finally let go . . .
as our tears shook and echoed
into winter’s bleary woe.

Time moved on as it has the want and will,
past winter, spring, and summer still;
and again, I greeted Autumn.

She smiled when she saw me,
and bowed to me with grace;
the human that saw fit to stay
in grief’s lonely darkened space.

I walked closer to divine Autumn,
the wisest mother of them all,
to notice lines and creases softer,
at peace with her destined fall.

Once more, sweet leaves moved from her
and, yes, she blustered and cried.
But, in the end, she whispered to me,
Love branches immortal, never to die.

Again I am running after an event, because RL keeps giving me unlovely moments. At the Vintage Fair I found so many amazing things and could only do 2 posts so far. But all the goodies were so nice, that I could not resist to do a 3rd one with some amazing designs done for that event. I am sure you will find all the cool things at the designers’ main stores (listed below) by now.

Ok I have to admit, initially I wanted to write something more about the items, but at the moment, there is so much in my head what even kills my sleep for quite some time now.

Maybe you know that feeling… You start to work on something, something that really develops to a passion over a couple of years and then out of the blue someone – that you brought to that project – becomes jealous and tries to ruin it with all what it takes? Just out of a power addiction and the fact that they want to show you they can take it away and destroy it, just because they want with no real reason.

I use to teach and work with kids for years besides my music “career”. I never had own children and I never will have, but I always felt I could help kids, who do not have such a nice start in the first years of their life. Over the past 6 or 7 years I had a very special project.  I was allowed to work with the school I was teaching and giving music or instrumental lessons already, for a little more after the usual school times. Something kinda like homework done under supervision combined with special projects like a Musical a few years ago and recently we did a little theater for kids. It wasn’t only me – one of my best friends, nearly a sister I never had, started the whole thing with me. We grew over the years from a handful kids to over 70 – being a small school outside the city with a total of round about 110 pupils, that was quite a lot. Everything was fine and while we did grow, we had to find more staff. Since we already were a teacher and a social educator, it wasn’t mandatory to find more specialized staff and we had the freedom to look for people that we thought would fit into our vision for the project. If we would have known what one or two people only could do if the they are good intriguers… I swear I would have wished we would have kept it smaller, so that we would never would have needed those people. I never even would have came on thoughts about how mean and ugly people can be, just because they want more power or even prove they can ruin you or a project you run for nothing else than their personal satisfaction – AND what is the worst part for me, those who will suffer the most are the kids. Most of them signed up, because of our concept and because they developed some kind of connection to us. In the beginning I thought, that their bad games would be discovered, but as always before in my life, it seems at the moment as those will get away with it and win… again… sadly. I am not worried finding something else, but if you put your heart into something, it does hurt if someone rips out that part. I still have a tinly little piece of hope, that justice will be done, otherwise I will see where my journey goes to in September 2019 🙂 . Ok… enough for today, but it felt good to write all that down and off my chest. I promise next one will be less emotional and private 😉

The more I try… the more I love!

BENTO… the more I try.. the more I love :p

Certainly we have BENTO now for quite some time but the more I look into, I find more and more possibilities and options. I was resisting to get BENTO hands as I did not like the shape of most of them too much and always counted on Slink or Maitreya to come up with their bento hands and I was not disappointed 🙂

We even got both as free updates for the hands we already owned!

The waiting was worth it and paired with the BENTO enabled AOs and animations or poses, it already was a wonderful experience. But when I found a special hands animator to even modify exiting poses for pictures slightly… that finally got me!

I did not yet make up my mind if I wanna use mainly my Maitreya of my Slink hands, so I just change back and forth depending on the accessories I want to wear for each new look.

When I saw the “Hand Poser HUD” from FATE, I did know instantly – I want that! To have control not only using premade poses but being able to adjust poses to make them even better fit for certain purposes – PRICELESS!

I am still in love with my LeLutka Simone head and with all the new face expressions there is so much to play with 😉 Especially the tongue ones I enjoy a lot lately, but as well several photo emotions are available now for a real cool price. They are so easy to install with the injector, which even looks funny with the syringe that appears when you add the injector and load the emotions into your LeLutka head HUD.

With all my BENTO cheering, I do not want to forget about my todays style 😉

It was one of the looks, I put together for one of my GizzA shifts. When I got the “Rodeo Shirt” and the “Grace” mini skirt, I immediately had the imagination of a modern ‘Cowgirl’ looking style.

Giz and Auster are amazing creative designers and over all the time they really became close and dear freinds to me 🙂 Thank you Giz and Auster for all your trust and support!

With the amazing “Indio” boots from Reign –  which as well matched perfectly in colors – I already had the right touch . The suede fabric and the laces on the outsides just made the perfect look. For the necklace I decided to go with a wrapped whip – you never know when a cowgirl will need one :p

New Collection at Devious Minds!

A few days ago Persia Bravin stormed my inventory asking me if I would have seen the latest releases of Devious Mind and I was like .. “Oh uhm.. aehm .. no…” and was trying hard to remember that brand. I know, that I heard it before but I could not really recall what it was. Persia kept talking, while I still was thinking,  she told me I so must see that and I need to meet the owner and in the end I was so curious that I TPed to the LM, Persia gave me and I just fainted. I landed at the !dm sim… sure… !dm was Devious Mind! For sure I know this brand and I as well have tons of her amazing outfits! *facepalms*

Persia kept saying me to contact the owner since she would be as crazy as I am :p . So I tried to reach Chandra Meehan, owner and designer of Devious Mind. She was offline but not too long after I left her a message she came back and we talked a while. She is that kind of persons I love from the beginning… crazy, wild, smartass, just like I use to be*grins*

We were talking about various things, until she asked me what my favourite colors would be. I told her that I basically like most of the colors and just have a pink allergy 😉 . Being a smartass, just imagine what she send me^^. But more about that soon. For today I have the new “Chained Lust ” outfit from Devious Mind. I am sure this outfit has many different facets with the latex catsuit and the amazing mesh chains, but I wanted to make something ‘Wicca like’. So I thought about, what I could do and as if it was fate, I had the the movie “The Crow” on my second monitor, as I started styling. Since I anyways liked the idea of Fetish Couture, I loved the pearl colored catsuit that goes down over feet and hands and only has that deep neckline in the front. You can choose between 3 different colors of the catsuit , as all 3 are included in the pack. The chains come in different sizes, so that you can make sure that the mesh fits your shape. I did not add much to the outfit itself, only a mask, wings and shoes and one of the jewelry sets of my brother Dahriel. The “Angelical Black” set comes with collar, crown, arm parts, earrings and a ring. The “Chain Lust” outfit was the perfect basic for my dark fantasys and if you now became curious what else you can find at Devious Mind, just take the taxi over to the Mainstore (TAXI: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/deviousMind/98/26/30). The sim as well is worth a visit! From my photographer side I just can tell you it is a paradise for making pictures as well!!!

Lately I was talking to Natzuka Milandrovic, a very close friend of mine and we came across the new ‘trend’ of combining fetish elements to high fashion, couture and avantgarde. If I remember back, when I started modeling in SL it was not even to think about and nowadays more and more designer and agencies try to do that. After a while she told me about a casting, that as well requested stylings with fetish parts and she showed me the outfit she made by herself for this casting. I totally fell in love with and after I told her that she was so kind and gave it to me with some poses that are made for this cool outfit.

As I saw the name of the outfit and the poses I had to grin and immediately I had the song “Paranoid” from Back Sabbath (linked above) stuck in my mind. So as I was styling the outfit, I listened to it most of the time and maybe that’s why the styling became a bit… crazy.

Natzuka Half

The outfit is named “Paranoid” and so is the pose set as well 😉 Nat founded a brand for all her different creations called Flighty Pixels. For this brand she did not set herself any boarders so I definately will keep my eyes on what she will create 😉

The “Paranoid” outfit contains a corset, the panty stripe some lace at the chest and the huge cool head-piece. I only added soe socks, the “Gothic Platforms” from L&B and the “Elle” hair from Zibska. The amazing arm tattoos are made by Talyia Tarber for her new brand The Makeup Artist. The amazing spades that cover the nipples, the front chest and the left eye are part of the “Spades” makeup and tattoo layers from Nuuna’s.

With this interesting and cool outfit from Flighty Pixels Creative and the poses by Flighty Pixel Poses, Nat built a great base for her new brand. She already made quite a few poses besides the “Paranoid” set and I am really curious with what she will come up next 😉
