Silent Valentine?

Valentine flowers, Valentine cards, Valentine cookies, Valentine this and Valentine that… every where you go, you get it rubbed right in your face wether you like it or not…

But what is with those people who would like to avoid Valentine’s da?

Maybe someone lost a beloved person and does not want to get reminded?

Maybe someone had a bad experience on Valentine’s day and tries to forget?

Maybe some people believe, that Valentine’s day only was made for the retail and do not want to support that?

What ever reason people have, I think that everyone should be able to make their own decisions about if they want to celebrate Valentine’s day or not.

I do not need  a special day to tell those I love how much I love them and I would not just do that on one special day. If I want to make my partner a little present, I do that on any day and as often as I want during the year. Sometimes it is just a little thing, maybe candy or something I saw and thought he would like it,  just a gesture or maybe just spend some precious time together. I even think it is the many little things that really show how much you do love someone else and not a huge present on a special day, that you are told by the calendar.

That brought me to today’s post as I wanted to do something different for Valentine’s day, but as well keep the typical red color 😉

So many new events started and so many new amazing creations got released, I really had a hard time to decide what I would like to wear and use for todays pictures. I ended up with a huge mix and match for my look and as well for the set.

For the outfit I chose a combination of the new “Diana” outfit from [sYs] and a new lingerie from La Perla. You certainly can wear “Diana” without a lingerie underneath but I thought it does give a nice romantic contrast to do so 😉

The awesome bracelets and the very special mask, I found at ROMP. When I tried the “Blinded” mask from Cubic Cherry, it immediately added a very intensive feeling to the whole look. With the metal look and the shaped eye contour, it did remind me on that old Roman theater masks.

The head piece is an art piece itself. It was made by LouLou Teichmann, owner and designer of Bauhaus Movement, and with the amazing details and the super sweet look, it made the perfect contrast to the mask.

I would like to drag your attention onto the hair a little more. Recently I discovered a new hair store. I am super picky with hair, especially with the textures, but when I tried my first Sintiklia Hair I was totally amazed. Not only the textures are awesome, Sintiklia has an amazing way how they create their hair at the base. You do not really need a hairbase with the way they do their end parts that meet the head and there is NO alpha issues at all! On many of their hair styles, they even include a style HUD, so that you can change the look of it and get more than one style with your hair. With the “Salma” hair, that I found at ROMP, you get a style HUD that gives you the possibility of 4 different ways how you can wear your hair! And usually you find a mirrored possibility if you have wisps of hair coming down at the front. So often I was cursing when the pose was not cooperation with my hair and I wished I would have had such an option to just change the side of the wisps. As if that would not be already awesome enough, with many of the Sintiklia hair you will get – besides the usual color HUDs – a tint color picker add-on HUD. With that you even can work on the shades of a certain color to match it perfectly to your skin and as well your look! You really should try some of their demos and see for yourself – I only can highly recommend it!

Another part of my post, which I would like to spotlight a little bit, is the sweet looking ‘daybed’ – if you call those things like that. It is a little stool with sweet ribbons and cute ruffles, that comes with many different textures. On the first view you would never believe what is behind that “cute mask” if you do not realize the little metal rings that are added to all the ribbons! Maybe you will get rough idea, if I tell you that the “Boudoir Bondage Stool” was made by Dictatorshop… ok the name might discover something already as well :p

This sweet little furniture you might imagine in a sweet girls room until you sat on it – and if you are a dork like me you enabled your RLV before as it said something about RLV and capture yourself on it *facepalms* It has a full ‘Dictatorshop known’ engine for all kind of couples and solos and for some poses it does even rezz cuffs and chains! What I liked most, you can pose solo in a non kinky way as well as you can roleplay all kind of scenes with it – private ones, which I resisted making picture of :p You still can get it, if you get you an actual Bound Box with a lot of other goodies in it at the Bound Box HQ!

Wicca’s Wardrobe @ The Guardians – October 2017

This round of The Guardians we have our first ever mesh lingerie! And of course it is 100% original! Evelyn is made up of 5 rares and 25 commons… the RARE items are: the bra, panty, garter belt, corset, and stockings, that comes with a texture changing HUD for all the variety you could want. Flight of Fancy into the Darkness

At the moment I am trying to learn new PS tricks and techniques. I discovered my likings for dark background pictures with a very simple set and more extra ordinary poses, so that the focus is more on the person and the items that are being showcased.

When I started to work with black backgrounds, usually they looked kinda flat and I was wondering how you can still have the imagination of a room even if it is all dark. But som subtile lights which are not even really noticeable, will do the trick I read. The shadows on the avatar will as well help with that if you have something throwing shadows on your avatar that you, that you not really see. There are so many more things like reflections and what not, that I still try to learn properly before I am coming up with picture :p

Today it would be The amazing lingerie from Blacklace, the super sexy high heels from Glamistry and the adorable and incredible jewelry from EarthStones, which I would like to showcase.

I had the great pleasure to take a photo of Abraxxa Anatine, designer and owner of EarthStones, for the last issue of the Spotlight magazine. Abraxxa is such a wonderful and lovely person and her creativity has no limits. While we were shooting she was wearing one of her latest releases, the “Flight of Fancy” jewelry set.

When I saw it, I immediately fell in love with it. It was made for the last round of TLC but I am sure it will be in her main store now.

The set contains a pair of earrings, 2 bracelets as well as a short and along necklace. The details on this set are incredible. With the butterflies and the little studs and gems and all the filigree chain links… just amazing. The Set as well is HUD driven so you can customize the colors to your personal likings and your look.

For the shoes, I decided to go with the latest release of Glamistry. The “Lilium” heels are a pair of super sexy pumps. I love the high plateau heel on them and as well the simplicity. With that you can see the wonderful leather texture if the shoes and as well the great details like the seam.

The super cool nail polish was made by ChloeElectra for her brand .alme. I love the golden geometric lines that run over the colored nail 🙂 and with the color they matched amazing to the jewelry and the lingerie!

The lingerie is not just an applier! This time Blacklace came out with a wonderful negligee made of mesh with a sexy transparency.  The panties and the garters are made of mesh as well, only the stockings are mesh body appliers. “Kelsey” you can purchase in many different colors as always with Blacklace designs 🙂

The sofa I used was made by Katink. originally it comes with some poses, but for this post I just used various other poses and adjusted them to the sofa 🙂

Today, again I have some lingerie. Lingerie is always something difficult for me as I do not want something boring, nor I wanna over do it especially, if it is such a delicate and filigree lingerie like the “Iris” set from Salt & Pepper at the WCF7.

The set contains bra, panties and a HUD with 6 color options. Matching to that you can get the “Iris” collar which as well has a HUD for 6 satin and 6 metal colors.

The lingerie set is a wonderful mesh ensemble made of satin and lace. Salt always amazes me with her ideas for designs as well as with her detailed outfits and meshes, not even to mention her insane texturing skills. The lingerie is so body tight… on the first view you would think, it is a body applier, but it is really mesh work ON the body!

The tattoo is – how could it be different – from White Widow. It is no secret. that Julie Hastings is one of my favourite… if not my absolute favourite tattoo creator.

If you ever tried to make applier clothing or – in the past – layer clothing, you probably realized that making something detailed for the SL body is not easy. You have to fight seams, you have to fight blurry moments especially on body parts that allow more curves, as you never know who the shape of the users will be. If you look at Julie’s tattoos under this perspective, you only can imagine how much skills and time she puts in her creations.

The amazing shoes I as well found at the WCF7. Phedora made the awesome “Coax” boots with the huge HUD of 25 trendy colors. The knee-high boots have a wonderful laced front and around the legs they are held with straps and buckles.

I loved the interoperation of the several lace parts on the shoes, the lingerie and as well on the tattoo with the fishnet looking parts, that as well gave the imagination of lace.

Like I mentioned at the beginning most of the items are available at the Whore Couture Fair 7 (WCF7). The variety of designs on that event are just amazing. I am sure that there is something for everyone at that event and I will have for sure some more from there in the near future 😉

The Whore Couture Fair 7 is really worth a visit as you have so many different styles of sexy, seductive and even provocative from some of the best designers in SL.The fair is open until March the 31st so you still have time to take a look 😉

Blogging can become such a lonely thing and it is so much fun to blog with friends.

So Tempest and me decided to have a monthly ‘friends post’ as it was so much fun last year to do the pictures together 🙂

This time we decided to go with Blacklace, as we both blog for Blacklace and they recently had so many amazing new releases!

Tempest said it was her turn to take the picture and so we both styled the “Anais” lingerie. I chose the black one and styled it with the amazing “Lido Body” from [sys]. To cover the arms, since Tempe said outside shoot *giggles* I put the fur sleeves from Cashmere, that I got at their closing sale. For the shoes I wanted something high up the legs but as well something that does not cover up the amazing stockings and so I went with the “Bottlebrush” heels from Empire. With their delicate laced heels it was just perfect! The super cute “Annik” hair was made by EMO-tions.

Merry Christmas with Blacklace & Glamistry

I never did any Christmas posts with lingerie I guess so I thought, this year I finally could have one :p

Maybe it was not that, but the fact that I am stuck at home with pneumonia till christmas and all of a sudden my day is so long, that I can play around with stylings more than I ever expected right before Christmas 😉

Usually the days before Christmas are very hectic in RL. In school we need to finish the last Christmas presents for the parents, music students want to have a Christmas concert or I need to run for some last-minute presents… that all was wiped out all of a sudden, when I got told “You will stay at home on the couch, no cold air, no huge activities” by the doctor.

I never had pneumonia before and I have to admit it sucks.. all that weird coughing and fever that makes me feel dizzy and tipsy… horrible. I love my work and I enjoy my life! So being stuck on the couch is probably the most ugly thing I can imagine.

I was called a bad patient before, for being not patient enough and just laying down until I am better.. but hey… life is too short for just laying down and doing nothing!

When I saw the amazing group gift with the cute santa hat at Argrace, I did know, I wanna do a sexy Holidays post 😉

I put on the super sexy “Vivian Candy Cane” lingerie from Blacklace, which just was released for Christmas 😉 I always admired the amazing details and filigree textures of Blacklace lingerie and with that sweet ensemble Blacklace reinvented one of their amazing lingerie sets. The awesome shoes are made by Glamistry and with the huge roses on the top of the peep toes it matched perfect in cuteness to the hair and the lingerie 😉

To have some gold added to the holy days.. I used the “Faith” jewelry from EMO-tions, that reminded me of the little Christmas tree balls my grandma always had on her Christmas tree.

The furniture and deco I used for the set I mostly found in my “MadPea Christmas Calendar 2016”. That calendar was so much fun with all the quality gifties in it… I just can recommend it for all for the next year if they do it again 😉

Again Blacklace released an amazing ensemble of panties, bra, stockings, garter belt and this time even boots!

With my addiction for over knee boots I could not pass that one 😉

Again I tried to think about something to mix and match lingerie with something else to not again have a typical lingerie post (even if i will have soon one like that again since Blacklace does release so many amazing things *grins*)

When I was looking through my inventory what I could use today, a box was thrown against my head. Sora Tatham – owner and designer for agapee – a long time friend of mine sent me her newest release. The “Kelly Shirt” by agapee was the perfect addition to the “Anita” set from Blacklace.

With the open, loosely wrapped down front it was perfect for showcasing lingerie and the length was just right to let the garters peeking out under it :p

I love several kinds of contrasts and so I thought about something black and silver highlighted just with one color, which I wanted to put on the lips, the hair and the nails.

Contrasts can be done in so many ways. colors, opposite things, things that do not belong together at all usually…and so many more.

The way how the comic Sin City is done always inspires me, when it comes to highlights and contrasts in colors.

So for the hair I chose the “No.Case” hairstyle from no.match. In a red shade it was just perfect to the light red lip gloss and the red finger nails from Nailed It.

The scenery again was built mainly with designs from E.V.E Studio. The awesome “Ivy Trees M02” paired with parts of the “Broken Chains” set, that as well includes the amazing choker with the long chains in the back of the neck.

All the poses I used for this post come from Del May. I really do enjoy their unusual poses and I rarely found a pose store, that has those kind of poses before.. but a few days ago… I found another! Not yet saying which one, but soon I will have a post about it, I promise 😉

When you are going to blog about lingerie, maybe that is not the first idea that comes to your head *giggles*

But, I thought maybe it was about time to try something different. I always missed the mix and match of layers for the mesh clothing. It is really hard to wear parts of different outfits and designers with mesh clothing, if they are not made to be worn together. Mostly the sizes do not fit or something pokes through or what ever else does not work. When I put on the new “Cotton Candy” in black, with the amazing bra, waist corset, panties and garters, I just had the idea to experiment a little bit, since the whole lingerie set is a mesh body applier and would give me more freedom to mix and match with layers again 🙂 PLUS I wanted to make a different post about one of the incredible lingerie sets from Blacklace 😉

[sys] released the “TWISP” outfit for the Fetish Fair 2016. The outfit contains a strapped body suit that just covers the most important private parts and a great pair of fingerless gloves. With the minimalistic straps it was just perfect, to go with the “Cotton Candy” lingerie set.

Who says lingerie is just something for the bedroom? *winks*

With the combination of those 2 outfits, the look already became very energetic and strong and more and more the idea of a warrior type look grew in my head. At the actual TFC round Bauhaus Movement has an amazing headpiece called “YEAH! Fashion Headpiece” which looked just as it was made for my idea :p The huge head piece with the feather looking parts all around and the amazing head band where the right addition to my warrior idea.

For the tattoos, certainly I chose White Widow again, Julie really is a body artist and I am just addicted to her creations. That became even more when I found out her newest makeup is compatible with the Genesis Lab 2.0 heads! The new “Couture” makeup is such an amazing mask looking eye art!

That is a very funny story as well.. I was looking for a mesh head I like for over a year now. Some were ok, but I never had the “YES!” feeling on any of the heads I tried. In the end I got a Catwa head as that was the one I liked the most but it was more a compromise than a real “YES!” Don’t get me wrong, Catwa does great heads and with the many different ones, they really make a statement. Catwa might be one of the best choices as there are the most appliers for those heads out there at the moment. But to me they are all very beautiful and smooth and I wanted something more character looking.

When I did not even think about a head, I saw the name of a wonderful friend in the Genesis Lab chat. We started talking and after a while I told her that I was looking for a particular head of Genesis but since Genesis is very limited with appliers and skins and as well do the most heads as Gachas… I kinda trashed the idea even if I liked their heads a lot. I came out that Danity Minx has a lucky hand with Gachas and she got a lot of the rare heads out of those and as well a few doubles. She gave me a few as gifts – very generous gifts – and I started trying them and when I put on a certain head… I immediately fell in love. DAMN my love fell on a Genesis head… that was my first intention.

But I could not help it and so I try to work it as much as I can at the moment. I was told in the group, that the support is very slow to non existent and that many heads have issues and do not get updated. With the one I chose it seems I got lucky as only the lashes positioner is broken but you can get used to it, that it just works the other way round. Sadly non of the skins for Genesis comes with a no brow option, so I could not wear it as an everyday head anyways since one of my trademarks is exactly that. In PS I am able to remove them but not on the grid 🙁

So we will see how that will go in the future… I have a light at the end of the tunnel, since a wonderful and kind skin maker offered me he maybe could take care of that 😉

Tempest & Wicca wearing Blacklace – “Passione – Leo Print & Lace Bra Set”

Today I have something very special…

Tempest Rosca, an incredible photographer, an amazing model and what counts even more for me… one of the ‘oldest’ and best friends I ever met in SL.

Tempest and me go way back and share quite a long past. We met in the early days of our modeling back on 2008/2009. That makes about 7 years… holy… time goes by!

The more I was happy when she IMed me and said “Wic.. do not blog the next Blacklace you get, let’s do it together!” God how iI could even think other than yes, when I thought about Tempe’s amazing pictures – I would get an original Tempest Rosca shoot!

Since I know how important a vision is for a photographer, I asked her if she had a special styling in mind. She just said “Hold on I send you a snap in a few but think lioness, princess, queen…” That sounded about Tempe… we get lingerie and she is talking about lions *giggles* I just love her. She has her own way of craziness and it seems to get well along with mine :p

When we met, while she was arranging the poses she had in mind we again had some great time for talking. Do you know that feeling.. you have friends, that you do not see or talk to every day, but when you met them it feels like it would be like that? That Tempe and me share.. we both have our own Second Life, but it crosses here and there and the it feels again so close and familiar, just amazing. We talked about old times, changes, new times and it felt so good to just talk away without any fears to say something wrong or something that he other would take wrong. Tempe and me never ever had that issue, we can talk about everything even about things we dislike or disagree and it never ever hit our friendship. That is very rare for me and with that it has one of the highest value. Exactly that to me is real friendship. We do not need kissy kissy everyday and as well we can talk clear and straight, without taking it wrong from each other – that can be so freeing and relaxing… I have no clue how long we talked until she found the right poses, angles and setting but I enjoyed every single second of it.

When I saw the picture I was speechless… it is incredible and perfect and again I know why I admire Tempe’s skills for pictures.
