A secret walk with a not yet released dress…
A few days ago I was visiting Herradura Baar, dear and long time friend of mine. We had a nice talk with coffee and cake. After spending some hours ranting and gossiping I needed to find the bathroom. She told me to leave the room and the 2 times right and I will find it.
I passed her sleeping room as suddenly something jumped into my eyes… there was a box on the bed… it looked as it was opened short before, kinda like I disturbed Herra as I arrived. I opened the door a bit more and peeked closer… the box had Journey McLaglen as sender on it. Now my explorer spirit took over. It looked like a new idea of Journey for Prism, that she sent to Herra like always to ask for her opinion… my brain was working hard… what could I do to try it. I left the box and went to the bathroom still thinking…
As I came back, I had an idea…
I passed Herra’s sleeping room again and quietly I snatched the new dress and pushed it into my bag… thank got I had chosen one of the bigger ones of PurpleMoon that I found in the ‘Dress Me Purple Hunt’ (yes I will post that soon as well :p). I went back to the living room and told a weird story about a text message on my phone about my dog and told her I will be back in a bit. I left her house and nearly ran to my car.
After I drove a few minutes I reached a small wood and it looked lonely and quiet. I stopped the car and pulled the dress out of my bag. There was a little label on it at the bottom that said “Prism – Yoko”. I tried it on and it really looks amazing. Parts are made with the new mesh technique and the textures are incredible great and detailed like always for Prism. It really was hard to get this amazing dress off again, but I had to bring it back. After another 15 minutes I was back in the car and on the way back to Herra’s house. For thank god I was able to put the dress back where I found it, Herra did not yet notice something, as she was cleaning the cups we used for the coffee before. So better keep an eye on the upcoming Prism releases… I am sure “Yoko” will be out soon!

Skirt or Pants? – With Sascha’s Design you can choose :)
Again Sascha Frangilli, over and designer of SAS-Sascha’s Design. released a wonderful outfit in different colors with many different options to wear. “Laitha” comes in 8 different colors and each of them has at least 4 versions to wear it. For my post today I chose one of the short skirt options, as you can see in the upper pic and one short pants version that I will show you on the next picture 🙂
For the jewelry I chose one of the latest releases from J&W Jewelers by Wenadrenia Soderstrom. The wonderful “Brooks Collection” in snake-skin and silver made the perfect match for me for this style, anyways if pants or skirt 🙂 The hair stylist for this look was Vikeejeah Xevion with her new label Loovus Dzevavor. The wonderful skin and markup was made by one of my favourite makeup artists Malicia Python, owner and designer of Silken Moon.

Mesh News from Prism!
We all know the awesomeness and problems of the new mesh clothing in SL 🙂 Many designers already released mesh clothing and it really is a wonderful possibility to let the avatar look with certain clothes come more real. No more silly knee angles, no more skirts that fall trough chairs if you sit on. The idea of mesh really is a great revolution, even if there has to be done much more work on still.Everyone that uses one of the mesh featured SL viewers, can wear mesh.
Prism now released their first mesh dress as well. A wonderful short dress that can be used in all kind of stylings you can think of. I decided to go for a kinda Rockabilly styling, because I really liked that with that dress ;). Journey included 3 different sizes of the dress and 2 different alpha layers to make it fit better. For mesh you cannot anymore edit the prims, when you wear them, so that different sizes really make sense and with 3 options you pretty much have a good chance to make it fit your shape. For this post I used the “London Leather” version of “Adele” and I am sure if you make your way to the Prism Mainstore you will find many more amazing colors and versions of the “Adele” dress 🙂 Dare to wear mesh :p

German Girls in Prism ;)
The newest release from Prism is a beautiful little cocktail dress named “Angeleena”. With all the amazing colors Journey McLaglen made for that dress we got a funny idea. Why not try kinda german flag with 3 german girls wearing the new outfit…? Above you can see the result. Me in black, Oralee in red and Falbala in shiny gold… and ready was the german flag in black – red – gold with our Miss Virtual Germany 2012 on the right outside 😉 Thank you Oralee and Falbala for styling and posing with me 🙂
As you already can see on the first picture, there is many different way to mix and match the new “Angeleena” dress. This is something I adore Journey for. She designs outfits and you first of all can mix and match them with every other Prism outfit and as well with some totally different. So you can give one outfit a lot of different looks. For example the “Angeleena” dress… First as I got it on the closest idea would be just keep it like it is and add some shoes, hair and jewelry and wear it as what it is on the first hand… a sweet, beautiful cocktail dress, as for example Falbala did it for the golden version of the dress. For me it said something totally different as I put the black version on and with adding one piece after the other it developed a totally other style…
The more I added the more the cocktail dress turned into a rockabilly chick 😉 With the fishnet tights and the tattoos “Angeleena” still is the same dress with a totally different look.
As I started the ‘What can I do with “Angeleena”?’ I could not stop anymore and try on what else I can come up with :p
My next style is more of a casual, light urban style still with the “Angeleena” cocktail dress. The dress includes 2 versions for the jacket layer, one with and one without the shoulder lines. I just added one of my LeeZu jeans, chucks and one of my favourite hairstyles from LoQ to complete the casual look. The sweet choker with the flower in the front is part of “Angeleena” itself.
In the end I decided, I could just once wear the outfit as that what it was meant for. In the end it again turned into something different… but I guess it comes close :). Still the look is not that elegant, than Falbala did it, it more turned into an everyday cute and sweet girlie style. The hairstyle from Truth, with the huge flower underlined the cutness for me 🙂
