“Not Whyte” – News from Rfyre!
House of Rfyre – Fashion Unlimited!
I felt very honored, as Raven Pennyfeather, owner and designer of House of Rfyre, IMed me and asked me if I would pose for one of her Vendors. We all know House of Rfyre RFyre for Gothic and Dark Couture, as well for amazing RP clothing. The textures usually are super high quality, wonderful detailed and unique. So you can imagine the feeling I had as Raven asked me. She sent me one of her newest creations called “Avril” in lavender and black. The outfit can be worn in different combinations as you see on the picture above. I made a few different stylings and Raven decided the one she liked most and that matched the best what she was aiming for. Working with Raven is fun and very productive I have to admit. During the photo shoot we had a lot of fun and she has a great music taste :p. The picture above was the result of the shooting and I really love it. “Avril” has more than only the black and lavender version.. if you are curious wich colors House of Rfyre offers for the “Avril” outfit you should make the way to the House of Rfyre Mainstore and see for yourself 🙂

Wicca’s Wardrobe: LOTD 03/29/2012 – A Chorus Line meets Madonna
Today it was relatively quiet and I roamed through my inventory, cleaned some out and sorted some in. In that process I tried a few things, I never looked at for in ages. I am sure you know what I mean, if I say, I went shopping, bought some stuff I would like to blog and it got hidden behind all the stuff I had to blog in my inventory*lol*
While I was playing around I got the movie/musical “A Chorus Line” in mind and I have no clue why. My i-tunes was playing Madonna songs and then suddenly as I was trying the “Esher Sheet Tights” leggings with the “Esher Wrap Vest” from ISON, that were sold during the event on the epoch sims, an idea got stuck in my mind… The wonderful corset comes from NV Corsetry and it was the hunt item for the Womens stuff hunt. Originally it came with a full outfit, but for this post I just took “The Ritz Corset” of it.
While I was developing my look I just remembered that Wenadrenia Soderstrom, owner and designer of J&W Jewelers, told me she made new jewelry and she sent me a few samples. For this jewelry, there has to be another post as she has so many new sets and works on a wonderful charity project as well, but like I said that has to be a special post soon 🙂 Nevertheless I wanted to give a short sneak preview of what she created last and as I tried the first set it so matched what I was aiming for. The “Snake-skin & Silver” set of the “Brooks Collection” with all its circles in silver, snake-skin, brown and black really made a great addition to the whole look. The earrings with the tassels hanging down, the necklace with the circles and tassel, the huge bangles and the belt totally matched my imagination 🙂
Last but not least I took a the hat of the “Love for McQueen” outfit, done by RFyre and looked into the mirror… yes that’s what I had in mind 😉

Not too long ago I got the great opportunity to wear one of the latest releases from RFyre for one of their commercials. Daron Brandeis approached me and told me that he wants me for one of his projects. It seemed kinda urgent as he TPed me to meet the designer. I was very happy as I landed and saw Raven Pennyfeather, owner and designer of RFyre 🙂

I was very happy to see her, I adore her creations for such a long time and so it was a great honor to model her newest outfit for a picture. She gave me the full black and white version of the outfit to style and I prepared stylings for all color versions. The white version of “La Glace” has the option of 3 different colors of the bodice. Red, as you can see in the first pic, white as shown above and a purple version that I will show below 😉

As well the “La Glace” outfit can be purchased in black as well with 3 different options for the color of the top. For the black version you have black, white and red to choose from.
For the Jacket you have 2 different possibilities of the neck collar. one more huge (the one I mostly used for the post as I really like it) with shoulder pads and a high collar and a smaller and simple one without the big shoulder pads and not as high around the neck.You do not always have to wear the full outfit. If you wanna skip the jacket you can see the beautiful texture that Raven used for the top it self.
The top has a wonderful deep neckline, which is decorated with an awesome, filigree and silver ornament, as you can see above for the red version. The pants and jacket are not just black either. An amazing texture again shows the perfectionism and the eye and love for the detail, that Raven Pennyfeather puts in her clothing.
My biggest surprise was as I TPed lately to the RFyre Mainstore and saw the 2 pictures made by Daron Brandeis (the first and last of this post) directly at the landing point in a very large size. I really feel happy, grateful and honored that I was given this opportunity 🙂

Maven Strasse – “Erschlagen” jacket is born!

Again I had the great honor to pose for the newest release or Maven Strasse, side label of Maven Haus. Elaera Maven improves with texture layers and created a wonderful stylish jacket for the modern fashionista and the brave and daring guys who want to look different!
The basic of that black jacked is decorated with 2 tiny stripes that go down in front of the upper body. also the sleeves are made in a black grey shaded tone what gives them a great 3D look. A total hight are the big shoulder parts that carry those great white and light glowing parts at the outsides!
Another great eye catcher is the huge neck collar part that matches the actual season as you can really hide your mouth and nose if needed so that they do not freeze in that colder days 😉
Overall this is a nother great piece that should not miss in a fashionistas wardrobe for the upcoming season!!! So find your way to the Maven HausMainstore where you will find also the Prêt-à-Porter line Maven Strasse that provides you designs for the perfect every day look!
For the end a little secret… *looks around herself if really noone is there*… this skin also is one of the new designs of Elaera Maven, so stay tuned I smell an upcoming skin release also 😉

Opium Tales – Mannequins…review of a fantastic show and fantastic accessories!!!

Lastly Opium Fashion Agency had another amazing and fabulous show. “Opium Tales Mannequin – It’s all about the accessories” Not the avatar was focus of that show neither clothing designs… just the accessories that make every outfits to something special. I liked this show so much that I would like to review the stunning things I was given for that show 🙂 and for sure all the fabulous Stiletto Moodys I got! Stiletto Moody sponsored every outfit with one pair of the fantastic and wonderful heels!!!
My first outfit was a mixture of Haysuriza glasses, a Lady Flora, belt from Gabriel and fingernails from Talon Faire…AND the amazing Stiletto Moody “Bare Ava” in rocking aubergine!!! As you can see the skin tone of the bare foot can be matched to every color of skin even black!!!! The combination of the color the sharp spikes and the shining gems are an awesome way to show character and make your shoes the center of your outfit 😉
For the next round I was wearing a combination of a lovely daisy outfit from Talon Faire, a Fyreworks Necklace, hair from Tukinowaguma and the fantastic new “Bare Fay” wild set heels from Stiletto Moody. This fresh and wonderful colors and textures a totally eye catcher with the animal print combined with that light blue..simply amazing and outstanding! Stiletto Moody again raised the level for stylish and perfect designed high heels!
My 3rd outfit contained jewelry from MC Designs, Tukinowaguma hair and again one version of the amazing new Stiletto Moody “Bare Fay” wild set colors called kaleido. The kaleido texture is available with 3 different colors for the “Bare Fay” style. For me the light blue one was matching this out fit best. And not only black is possible for an unusual skintone…even the white tone of the WDB Fantasy Skins could be matched for the bare foot tone of the stunning Stiletto Moodys!
Again in the metalic black skin of Yabusaka I was allowed to show another set of the MC Designs jewelry,the Swirls2 Eye tattoo from Talon Faire, a cloche from House of Nyla and another style of the new spring collection of Stiletto Moody. The ” Bare Robin” ankle boots here shown in red python. *rooooaar* This texture is definitely some for the brave fashionista that dares to show color and style. The amazing, shining, red colored python texture is so amazing detailed…breath taking realistic. Also the zipper that is open in this version so that the sweet ankle straps show off and the stitched leather turns inside out… simply wonderful!
My last outfit was made of another WDB Fantasy Skin, a wonderful black, flexible boa with Bangles from Myth and again another version of the fantastic Stiletto Moody “Bare Robin” ankle boots here in the kaleido color and with a closed zipper. The options of opened and closed zipper and also the different colors for the metal parts are part of this great pair of Stiletto Moody also. You can choose by yourself, if you wanna wear “Bare Robin” with open or closed zipper, or with or without ankle straps. The kaleido texture gives a perfect spring and summer feeling with its amazing colors!

For me it was an amazing opportunity to walk this show and I would like all the designers and the Opium Family that made this show possible… for me it was something new in SL to have only the accessories in the focus of a great show.
