I LOVE when “accidents” happen while I am setting up my shoot… if they are “positive”!

Today it was a lightning surprise, which started with a mistake of moving light prims around. I was playing again with some Mainframe goodies today. I thought of something different, something what I not set did with all the amazing cyber and sci-fi designs I got there. I have no idea what exactly it was that brought me to this idea, but probably I watched too much Star Wars lately. I saw the “Cyberdoll Helmet” from Fika and instantly had the vision of Boba Fett, the bounty hunter.

I wanted a strong, robotic female version of a bounty hunter and her hideout on a dark, desert planet. With the super cool “Wreck Hideout” from 22769 I had the perfect scenery to set up my shoot for my vision.

While I was playing with lights, again something happened what I usually hate like hell… I tried to move a set of lights and my camera flipped while editing and the lights ended up “somewhere” behind me. When I reset my camera and wanted to try again I realized, it does look fantastic! Those kinda of accidents I really do love, it just makes it harder to reproduce it if you want to shoot more than one picture and have the lights attached *frowns*. Then they keep moving with every new pose and you hardly get the same result – it took a while*giggles* It is a strange habit to attach lights when you can rezz them as well, but for what ever strange reason I get different results wearing them instead of rezzing them. The Mainframe event only lasts till the 13th of august so if you want to get some of those extremely awesome goodies – you just have  few more days!

Do you know these days? Where you already know shortly after getting your corpse out of bed, that this won’t be a nice one? I exactly had that today… It is way too hot, anxiety about still having a job in September or not, then when you login you get exactly those people in your IMs, that you do  NOT really wanna talk to… just one of this days…

This mood really played into my pictures today somehow. I wanted to make a “rockabilly-goth” look. Nothing what fits together on the first view, but I liked the idea. While I did the pictures my mood already became better and better and in the end I even had fun playing with one of the incredible mesh animals from Jian 🙂

Today I wanted to post something about that super amazing time portal from Ex Machina. It is a huge design, so I had to think about a way to showcase the full creation. I didn’t want to just stay in front of the portal and started playing with the idea of being swallowed by it :p – That was the outcome of that and I really enjoy that thought.

What happens if you have 3 different designs you want to showcase and you try to combine them – I love challenges like that :p

Today it was the new ears from CerberusXing called “Sceleratis Ears” – they are available at the TMD event for August – an add-on for those ears from Nefekalum Tattoos and that cool tongue from unstable.I didn’t yet wanna give up on my new scars from E.A.Studio either, so that was quite a fun challenge to make that all work together. In the middle of the night – my brain must have been already fried and  I was hungry – all of a sudden the idea for this picture grew in mind… so yes… here we go!

The Black Widow boots are the newest footwear put out by Wicca’s Originals. The boot cut goes all the way up to mid-thigh, hugging every curve of the leg along the way. With that alone, these boots would be sleek, sexy accessories for the foot, but that doesn’t tell the whole story. These boots are fitted with a pair of studded straps along each thigh, and graced with series of barbed chains, spanning from the front of the thigh all the way down to the shin. The heel spike complements these chains with a very literal heel spike, all of it promising sweet suffering for anyone who gets too close. Some would-be lovers may be intimidated by these boots, but let’s face it — they probably couldn’t handle you, anyway. The Black Widow boots come in 10 color options, for Maitreya, Legacy, Hourglass, and Freya.

After I was a little bit shocked about a current hair gacha, I decided to just not to shop today and instead do a picture with the amazing things I got at the Mainframe event :p

Mainframe is one of ma favorite events of the year as it is all about cyber, cyberpunk and sci-fi stuff – I always find some awesome, weird things there…

For example that little accessory I am wearing at my right eye. A cool socked in the middle of the eye and a plug with a cable connected to that… incredible awesome *grins* Who can have such a cool, sick idea? Certainly Gryphon Vendetta, designer of UNGOD and Poseidon poses. I love how his mind goes along with mine sometimes so well! I loved his poses (which I used for this post as well) for along time, but since he started making little meshes for his poses and for accessories i just love him even more… Another designer, which recently caught my attention, is Imogen Veles (Draetia). She owns the brand “unstable.”. I saw her designs on events for quite some time, I as well bought stuff from her before but since she made a few cyberized items she even more went into my shopping focus. This time she offers a cool halo with and without a glow option at the Mainframe event – just perfect for my picture idea! I already have another sci-fi idea which I started styling – which I am totally excited about as well – so I will not bother with any more text or descriptions – all details you can find below in the credits anyways 😉 See you soon here on my blog!

Finally I have Summer Holidays! 6 weeks of fun, being lazy or creative as I want, sleep when and as long as I want… just freedom all over!

Recently I met a cool girl in Second Life and while we were talking, I realized it is the creator of  [I♥F]&co. When I think back, she was one of the first.. if not THE first who did scripted clothing in terms of being removable/strip-able. It is a ton of work as we all know that clothing doesn’t move by itself naturally in Second Life so she has to make different meshes for all steps of  undressing! Soon I will do a longer post about that to showcase you the possibilities of that kind of clothing.

For today I chose one of my favorites from [I♥F] for my pictures – The “Ginger” outfit. A wonderful corset with pasties and a loose panty. The textures are incredible amazing, we all know latex is a very difficult fabric in SL ;). You get a glossy and a ‘normal’ option if you purchase the outfit, which gives you a wide range of possibilities to wear that amazing design. I chose the glossy version as it reacted so incredible to the lights and projectors I wanted to use.

First I thought about doing a fetish post, but then I thought that would be too obvious *winks*. So I decided to go with something different. I remembered the cool vending machine from Ex Machina, which instantly brought the memory of the “Clockwork Orange” movie to my mind. Having that crazy movie in mind it wasn’t had to come up with a crazy set and picture idea :p

Another thing I would like to point out is the amazing makeup from CAZIMI. I am addicted to my new Evolution heads from LeLUTKA (I can’t yet decide if I want to stay with Lake or to change again to Fleur) and CAZIMI does perfect HD appliers for the new LeLUTKA Evolution line AND super cool BoM layers as well. With those layers you can mix and  match your makeups again! For this post I did not just use one of her newest release – The “Starlet Lashes” Applier for Evolution heads – I as well mixed 2 of the “Cruel Summer Eyeshadows” to create a color that matched my tattoo! CAZIMI includes different opacities in some of her creations and that gives you such a wide range of possibilities to experiment for even more colors!
