After I was a little bit shocked about a current hair gacha, I decided to just not to shop today and instead do a picture with the amazing things I got at the Mainframe event :p

Mainframe is one of ma favorite events of the year as it is all about cyber, cyberpunk and sci-fi stuff – I always find some awesome, weird things there…

For example that little accessory I am wearing at my right eye. A cool socked in the middle of the eye and a plug with a cable connected to that… incredible awesome *grins* Who can have such a cool, sick idea? Certainly Gryphon Vendetta, designer of UNGOD and Poseidon poses. I love how his mind goes along with mine sometimes so well! I loved his poses (which I used for this post as well) for along time, but since he started making little meshes for his poses and for accessories i just love him even more… Another designer, which recently caught my attention, is Imogen Veles (Draetia). She owns the brand “unstable.”. I saw her designs on events for quite some time, I as well bought stuff from her before but since she made a few cyberized items she even more went into my shopping focus. This time she offers a cool halo with and without a glow option at the Mainframe event – just perfect for my picture idea! I already have another sci-fi idea which I started styling – which I am totally excited about as well – so I will not bother with any more text or descriptions – all details you can find below in the credits anyways 😉 See you soon here on my blog!

Finally I have Summer Holidays! 6 weeks of fun, being lazy or creative as I want, sleep when and as long as I want… just freedom all over!

Recently I met a cool girl in Second Life and while we were talking, I realized it is the creator of  [I♥F]&co. When I think back, she was one of the first.. if not THE first who did scripted clothing in terms of being removable/strip-able. It is a ton of work as we all know that clothing doesn’t move by itself naturally in Second Life so she has to make different meshes for all steps of  undressing! Soon I will do a longer post about that to showcase you the possibilities of that kind of clothing.

For today I chose one of my favorites from [I♥F] for my pictures – The “Ginger” outfit. A wonderful corset with pasties and a loose panty. The textures are incredible amazing, we all know latex is a very difficult fabric in SL ;). You get a glossy and a ‘normal’ option if you purchase the outfit, which gives you a wide range of possibilities to wear that amazing design. I chose the glossy version as it reacted so incredible to the lights and projectors I wanted to use.

First I thought about doing a fetish post, but then I thought that would be too obvious *winks*. So I decided to go with something different. I remembered the cool vending machine from Ex Machina, which instantly brought the memory of the “Clockwork Orange” movie to my mind. Having that crazy movie in mind it wasn’t had to come up with a crazy set and picture idea :p

Another thing I would like to point out is the amazing makeup from CAZIMI. I am addicted to my new Evolution heads from LeLUTKA (I can’t yet decide if I want to stay with Lake or to change again to Fleur) and CAZIMI does perfect HD appliers for the new LeLUTKA Evolution line AND super cool BoM layers as well. With those layers you can mix and  match your makeups again! For this post I did not just use one of her newest release – The “Starlet Lashes” Applier for Evolution heads – I as well mixed 2 of the “Cruel Summer Eyeshadows” to create a color that matched my tattoo! CAZIMI includes different opacities in some of her creations and that gives you such a wide range of possibilities to experiment for even more colors! Try for yourself and discover new way of putting your makeup together!

A Look into the Mirror…

As I promised yesterday, I had to play a little bit with the new Fleur 2.0 head, which will be available at the LeLUTKA main store soon! Yesterday I used the shape, which came with the head without tweaking it. Today I got the amazing skins from Glam Affair, which were made especially for the new Fleur 2.0 head. After trying the all, I decided to do my first look with the “Muse “skin.

While I was playing around with the shape, I got such a cool idea, how I could showcase the new Fleur 2.0 head, the Muse skin from Glam Affair AND the amazing face mask from LeLUTKA, that is included in the Fleur 2.0 head pack. I could do a mirror shoot, facing my own evil side in the mirror! Since we have no real mirror option in SL yet, you always have to cheat around a little bit with PS and while you are shooting as well to get the right angle and view. What I do love a lot is all the cool face mods you get with the Fleur 2.0 head. For example on the good girl, you see those amazing smile lines, which make the look so much more realistic and unique. Or the incredible face masks – where I chose to wear the No. #1 of 3 that you get with the head update as well – on the bad girl.

There is so much more to play with, I am still not done with my Fleur 2.0 posts and pictures I guess *grins*

LeLutka NEWS: Fleur 2.0 is coming soon!!!

Another new head for the LeLUTKA Evolution Line! Fleur will be the next release on the 24th of July and it comes with a bunch of new features and updates – you will LOVE them!

Lately I as asked a lot of times, what the difference between the Origins and the Evolution Line of LeLUTKA. They are both amazing and I still use some of the Origins heads sometimes, especially if I want to use some of my old skins or makeup appliers. Mainly I changed to the Evolution Line, because BoM does give me so much more possibilities for makeups and face mods. The Origins Line does support all the applier systems (LeLutka and Omega) while the Evolution Line – which is the newest line – is made to use the Bakes on Mesh (BoM) system. You still can use Appliers for Skin, lashes and eyes, while you need layers or special HD Appliers for all other modifications… old appliers won’t work on the new Evolution Line!

With the 2.0 update we again got so many more new and shiny things to play with. You now get an option to have 4 different lengths of your lashes, all animations were remastered and look even more realistic and we get 5 new extra moods as well (Frown, Focus, Casual, Influencer, Serious). For the expressions, which we all love to make pictures and snapshots we as well got 5 new ones (PSE 1-5). What I loved a lot was the more detailed and remastered eye controls (I will ad a detailed picture of the new HUD below), that give us 49 eye positions for each eye – what a genius feature especially for photography!

Fleur has very flexible bone muscles, that could cause you a little bit more work on your shape (if you do not want to use the amazing shape that comes with the head already!), but with that as well you can make so unique and special looks. It really is worth the work 😉

And now for something that really made me speechless… You all know I am a piercing and tattoo lover and with Fleur I got a huge range of different piercings and all fitted for my head! One for the brows, 8 for the ears, 5 for the lips, 4 for the nose and one for the tongue/frenulum! And you can all operate and color change them with your HUD! I as well digged a little more in the “LeLUTKA.BoM.AddOns (f)” folder and found the amazing eyeshadow I am wearing for todays post… but as well I did find some kick ass face masks and face mods, which I have to showcase in one of my next posts, as I wanted to show you the amazing new Fleur head in all its beauty first *winks*

I feel so bad to fangirl about that new head so bad and it still needs a few days until you can get your hand on it, but I could not resist when I saw all those new amazing features!!!

Lately real life is very time consuming – more than it used to be before Covid 19. As a musician and teacher you kinda double your hours with the same income than you had before. Classes need to be decreased to full fill the standard of hygienic behavior given by the state and online schooling takes ore time as well, as you need to learn all the new tools you need. It is ok, but with that SL time gets reduced a lot lately for me.

But all those amazing new releases – just dragged me to SL and I had to snap a quick picture to showcase at least a few of them today 😉 I am not a snapshot only person and so it as well takes time to post work the picture(s), which makes it not really more easy if you already are short on time… but times will bet better again, I am sure they will 🙂

“My Heart has been always Yours”

Recently I had a talk with Trouble, my little brother in SL (that grew over many years) and we came across an idea we had for a while, but it never seemed to be the right time. Now it was the right time and we talked about my sweet little corner in the Eclipse Magazine, where I could contribute something with all my weird and crazy ideas. I always missed a more roleplay based fashion and places section. Not the typical fashion spread that we all got tired of seeing in all the magazines, more something with fantasy but still themed and with according places to go. More than that I am allowed to have a little paragraph about the theme to characterize and explain certain genres a little bit. I do not know how I can describe it properly, but my little “Across the Grid” section in the Eclipse Magazine was born *winks* Thank you Trouble for giving me a corner to express all my funky ideas and dreams!

I love steampunk in RL and SL and so it was an easy choice what my initial theme would be – Steampunk!

One of the pictures that I did for the magazine, is the one above (the other one I will showcase in a separate blog post). The style was based on a look I did for the Second Life CyberCon show we did with Madd Modelz, I just did pimp it a little bit more to go towards steampunk even more. For the show Tour Blanche – another close friend of mine – wrote a wonderful story to my look, which I have to put down here as well so that it wasn’t just for the show and I can read it over and over again myself too because I love it so much. Thank you so much Tour for that incredible, wonderful and amazing story.

There once was a man. He was brilliant, but his brilliance made him an outcast, exiled for dabbling in upsetting the natural order, attempting to create life itself. It was not so many years later that he had his first true breakthrough, and /she/ was awakened. A construct from head to toe, she was built with the purpose of being his assistant. Her metallic body was capable of working without tiring, and her capacity to learn made her adept at not only aiding in his work, but also conversing.

While the strangeness of her voice and slightly inhuman mannerisms might repel some, hers was the only companionship he had. She would be the reason he gave up pursuing further research. He viewed her as his magnun opus, and continued to refine her as needed as the years went on, rather than creating new constructs. While she was capable of thought, she was bereft of true feeling. Though she went through the learned motions to embrace him when he needed it, and spoke affectionate words, she did not truly know what they meant.

Over the decades, her parts were improved or sometimes replaced with mismatched pieces, but he aged, growing old, tired, and eventually infirm. On his deathbed, he pledged his love to her, “My heart has always been yours.” When he perished, she surgically extracted his heart, and using all he had taught her, connected it to herself. When this was done, his devotion to her strangely resonated within her chest. It struck her core like a hammer, and for the first time, part of her metal shell cracked and broke loose. A truth revealed: She had not been a full construct all along. She did not know whose body went into her creation, but she did know that she now missed him for the first time in her life, and yearned to hear his voice again. She knew now what he felt, as she felt it too; a love for him. She would find a way to bring him back. For now, she would preserve his heart as a part of her, and wander the earth, seeking the forbidden knowledge she would need.
