When I styled todays look, I already had that song (above) in mind and since it is German, I tried to translate a few  lines for you all 😉

Again I am showcasing some of the incredible releases from the Mainframe event. The event has about half-time by now and some creators even put half-time news or gifts out us all – you really should check them out 😉

When I saw the insect legs from AMBIX, I immediately had an idea what I would like to do with them. I never saw something like that before in Second Life in such an amazing quality and with even an AO coming with them… The Black Widow jumped into my mind and settled down while I was looking through some other new releases of the Mainframe event. I marked all the goodies of the Mainframe event blow my credits you you can be sure to not miss any of them.

Sometimes I have the desire to tell a little story with my pictures and with the Black Widow, I had to have a victim for her and I didn’t want to go for the most obvious and use a human this time (maybe another time *grins wickedly*). That is the reason for the awesome, little dragonfly with me on my pictures.

So my biggest challenge this time was, how to  get my Black Widow in a cyberpunk or sci-fi looking surrounding without looking too weird *giggles* While I played around with the “hex frames” from Toxxic, I did remember the “Neon Retrowave Landscaping” set, which I picked up on a FLF. I KNEW they would come in handy some when!

Now that I had my perfect set I was able to go some more crazy with more news from Mainframe! Normandy made some really interesting pieces and since I was already wearing insect legs, the cool “Auto Fangs” with the matching lip stick, just matched perfectly in my imagination and the “Oeil” set with the eyes and the forehead accessories made the face look just perfect! I love cyberpunk and sci-fi sets and styles a lot as you can go crazy with kinda no limits not being called constantly a freak :p

Before I will run back to SL to do some more pictures, I would like to drag your attention to my panties and collar, which are made by CerberusXing. I already showcased both before but lately I simply cannot live without CerberusXing anyways plus I saw exciting news on his Flickr stream. He is remodeling his store completely and gave a little sneak preview (HERE) – it is really worth watching it!

And as I already said… back to Second Life for some more picture and fancy ideas *snickers*

I wanted to do a couple picture for such a along time again with my partner Redclaw Inshan and now finally for the Mainframe event the time was right again. You can find so many cool new releases for male and female at the Mainframe event, that there was no way around some couple pictures of them 😉

I always get told, it is rare to find good designs for males… the Mainframe event would be one event to take a look as they have a lot of incredible designs and item for all genders and as well different genres inside a futuristic overall mood. But you can find electronic things, sci-fi, fantasy, post apocalyptic and lots of Neon things.

I mean it is no secret that I am addicted to cyber things anyways do that event was a “must go” anyways but I really think even if you are just looking for some extra ordinary accessories it will be worth looking.

Lets take a closer look what we used from the event…

The first item that probably jumps to your eye first is the cool “Enhancement” tattoo from Nefekalum Tattoos. It is available in red and blue and we chose the red version for todays post. The tattoo (face & body) comes in 2 versions, with the shading (black) and without. You can decide if you want to go BoM or work with the Omega Advanced applier, which as well gives you the cool possibility of materials on the tattoos. Sir Skye as well included 4 projectors (which I did not use for this particular post). 2 color ones in red and blue and 2 tech ones that give you an amazing look through their projector textures!

The incredible detailed face implants are made by {PSYCHO:Byts}. They come in 2 link sets (8 pieces), that you can perfectly edit to fit them on your face. With the HUD you can make a lot of color combinations based on 8 different colors and 6 metal versions.

The extreme cool eye patch was created by Gryphon Vendetta for his brand UNGOD. He already convinced me with his poses but his meshes are very unusual and perfect for a unique look as well! For the Mainframe event, he created that unisex eye piece in black and white. Each one has 4 different colors for the glowing lens and since he left his product modifiable, you can even adjust the glow to your needs.

The cool skin that I am wearing as well is one of the releases for the Mainframe event, coming from Stargazer. They offer the skin in 3 different tones for the event and I chose to wear the gray one.

The gloves that Sir Red is wearing, we created for our own brand Wicca’s Originals – as well a new release for the event, which I will do a separate showcase over the next few days since we again created a female AND a male version of a full outfit that is sold in 3 pieces (outfit, gloves & shows).

 What better than some evergreens from A&Y we could have chosen to complete our looks. the “Dext” hair is one of my personal favorites and I do not need to tell how much I love Anabel Crystal’s clothing if it comes to latex and cyber designs!

You still have till February 20th to visit the cyber fair and see all the goodies in one place before you have to do shop hopping when they all return to their main stores 😉

Ropes not Roses!

Today I am hurrying with a wonderful release of A&Y – the “Zoe” dress – for the Fetish Fair and the awesome “Insanity Eye Patch” from .:E.A.Studio:. for the Tres Chic event. The Fetish Fair ends today and Tres Chic should be done after the weekend as well so it would be the last chance to get those 2 incredible releases on the events before they return to the main stores.

The “Zoe” dress as you can see above, has a wonderful, sexy and deep neckline in the back, while it is very high closed in the front as you will se on the pictures below. The fabric shows excellent skills if it comes to latex. Latex is probably one of the most difficult fabric in Second Life to make if you want to satisfy those who use materials and those who don’t. Either you have white “spots” where the reflections are if you want the non materials user to be able to see the “shine” or you have the fabric only on the materials which results to the fact that, that those who do not have materials enabled won’t see much up to nothing that looks like latex. Anabel Crystal, owner and creator of A&Y found the perfect way to showcase latex perfectly to everyone – it amazes me every time again when I wear it.

The second design I would like to drag your focus on is the super cool “Insanity” eye patch from Eclipse Art Studio. A leather, heart shaped eye patch with nails and a plaster in the middle. You get the option of having either the left or the right eye covered and with the huge HUD you can customize the whole patch including some super interesting textures for the plaster in the middle.

I already talked about the mega amazing “Infernal Claw Ring Set”, which is the release for the Fetish Fair that you still can enjoy today before it closing its doors. This time I chose a red leather version and a different polish for the caws and rings to show you another possibility of the amazing HUD options.

I wanted to do this post way earlier but the last week of school craziness and then all the Christmas horror delayed kinda everything… it wasn’t planned like that and I hope I can catch up with all the posts I have planned over the Holidays 😉

Again I was in a cyberpunk/sci-fi mood… I have no idea but in that kind of genre, I love deep and saturated colors like orange and blue or teal.

With the “Chemicoll” gacha set, a collaboration between CerberusXing and SOLE, I easily found my way completely in to the world of cyberpunk and future worlds. The set is made of 33 commons and 2 rares plus 6 amazing, different VIP rewards. You will get one VIP reward each time you play the machine for 1000 L$. I am wearing all parts mostly in orange for today’s post but you have the chance for  7 different colors – the rares certainly come with a HUD to match them to all colors. What is a neat little detail as well is, that most of the parts are modify like always for CerberusXing (except for script content). That gives you the possibility for example to work on the transparency of the “Tube Top”. With that you can decide how  much of your bits you want to show or hide *winks*

What other hair I could choose than a style from A&Y, my favorite store when it comes to cyber or futuristic hair. Today I picked the “Zeo” hair, which as well comes with the matching hair base with an Omega Applier. The hair is a full style with the head plate and all the tubes and parts you can color match to what ever you wear with the amazing HUD A&Y offers for all of their items.

To complete my look I used one of the latest releases from Nefekalum Tattoos. He recently started to work even more with materials and environment (Omega Advanced, for the bodies that support it). I LOVE his creativity and as well the dark mood his tattoos always put me in. That inspires me a lot and sometimes – like today, I was trying to go with a blue/teal color range first – I even re-think my looks and change around some colors to include his work into my styles. For the open chest of the “Tell Tale” tattoo a red/orange toned look matched much better…

My whole set I did build with HILTED items. I recently discovered, that HILTED not only does great accessories, avatar followers and gadgets, but as well backdrops and furniture! I am sure I will have more of that in the future as they are amazing built and as well incredible detailed textured. Today I mixed different sets and designs – a detailed list you can find in the credits below 😉

Hoverboarding

CyberPunk Fair is over – Sadly!

But I am not yet done with my cyber moods *giggles*. The event had so many awesome new designs and creations, I just cannot stop yet to play with what I got.

Today I had mega fun with the “Samurai Hoverboard” from UNGOD and the matching pose set from Poseidon. Gryphon Vendetta, owner and designer of both brands, included a  more simple looking board in the pose set but I loved the hover board and the katana so much from the UNGOD set that I had to cheat them in 😉

Again I have to say, how much I love Poseidon Poses. They are so full of energy and so well thought through, it really inspires a lot of you have such poses for pictures – they are really poses for special purposes!

And again I am happy to show you another side of the “Simone” head from LeLutka. I do not know how to say, but the “Simone” head, is one of the most versatile ones. I know that some call it edgy and not as smooth as other ones, but maybe that is exactly what I do love. Every skin gives you different looks and with using the editing sliders, you even can force that more. This time I wanted a cyberpunk look and with the blue skin and some modification tattoos it really got a light machine character. The lips do have an amazing shape. I am not a friend of too full lips for my look and with thinner lips most heads do look angry – but not “Simone”!

With the cool face mods from  -[TWC]- and the crone ,paired with some cool cyber looking eyes from CURELESS [+], the whole look really became freaking cool. The smart “EmoTech Lens 1” from Astara, is a sweet little thing too. You can decide with a HUD, what kind of smiley face you want to show on your lens, as well you can choose your color. The cool neko headpiece was made by the one and only Deccan Arida from [The Forge] and it certainly could not be missed for my cyberpunk style today 🙂

What caught my attention as well were the lipsticks from nox. They do give the lips that awesome plastic look and oyu have many colored to choose from.

After all I do hope Flair for Events will make the CyberPunk Fair an annual event as I really miss this kind of things and it was like heaven to find so many in one place 🙂

Cyber Games

I immensely enjoy the CyberPunk Fair 🙂 Sadly today is the last chance for this amazing event 🙁

There are so many amazing creations and designs, that it is really hard to choose, with what you wanna start making pictures. Today I decided to go with the awesome “Tiera” hair from EMO-tions, the cool “Cyberdeck” from UNGOD and one of the latest releases from A&Y, the “Aeon Cyber Top” paired with the “Aeon Cyber Corset”.
I was experimenting so much with teal and orange lately with all the great cyber items, so today I wanted to have another color palette – Purple and Blue was the choice of the day 🙂

When I was done styling, I faced the same problem like always… find the perfect location for the pictures. First I went to Cocoon, a new and super awesome cyber sim, but I quickly realized I need something different. Then I suddenly remembered, that there was a mega cool gacha at the CyberPunk Fair, that as well was based on purple colors. The K&S “Neon Night Mood” The whole set is made with such amazing love for the details – even the shadows! You can use the set as a full one, but as well the single parts of it and it doesn’t matter if you miss a piece it still looks amazing.

For todays poses I went with the “Akali” set from Poseidon and one special pose, which was made for the advert of the “Cyberdeck”- Gryphon Vedetta, owner and designer of Poseidon and UNGOD was so kind to give it to me 🙂 Even if the poses were not made for the “Cyberdeck” they just were perfectly matching for my pictures 😉

The head I am wearing today, again the the “Simone” head from LeLutka. As I told you before, I will try to show the different heads with all kind of different skins, to show how versatile they are and how different they can look. With the “Kialaya” skin from Lumae, “Simone” gets a way younger look than the one I use to have. You can see as well how different nose and mouth do look with different skins 😉 So you can customize your face not only with the sliders, but with a certain skin too.

Cyber & Sci-fi time again!

There is so many exciting events running at the moment, it is really hard to resist to not buy everything you see at those events… Especially if it is events like Black Fair, Epiphany, ACCESS or The Fantasy Faire even.

A few things I got nevertheless and they screamed cyberpunk/sci-fi for me 😉 I am still in my dark period with creating styles and pictures and the more I do, the more I enjoy it 🙂 With the dark and fantasy side of SL, I feel so much inspiration lately that I could post something every day if I would have the time to post process all my pictures. But since I wanted to use my easter holidays for learning new tricks in Photoshop, finishing pictures takes some time – even a little more with try and error these days *winks* The desire was to learn more about shading, lights and shadows and how they can be done realistic in Photoshop. I had some basic knowledge about that with a lot of layers, but I wanted to have a different result, something I saw a lot on flickr lately and that was why I forced myself to watch some tutorials and then try them instantly myself. I am not yet done completely with my research, but for today I was pretty satisfied how those new tips and ticks worked out.

The mega, amazing “Aeon Cyber Corset” is one of the latest releases from A&Y. I love the creations of Anabel Crystal, owner and designer of A&Y. She has a very special way for sci-fi and cyberpunk creations and I do love her skills for vinyl and leather clothing. The corset you can find at the actual round of the ACCESS event, while there is a matching top/jacket at the black fair, which I will have to showcase soon too (I saw that after I finished my styling for this post already).

The incredible “Voodoo” ears are as well a brand new release at the Black Fair. I love the ears of Eclipse Art Studio and Shina Shan never stop to amaze me with every new release. She always has another cool idea for the accessories of her ears. This time it was that little voodoo doll, that she added to the earlobes as an earring. The voodoo doll can be purchased as a single earring as well if you do not want to have the long elf ears ;). I love how easy you can tint the ears to match your skin and the possibility of all the tattoos you can add really make those ears so versatile.

For a strong, powerful outfit you need super cool boots and those I found with the “Roxy” boots from [Gos]. The boots are part of a gacha, which is a collaboration of [Gos ] and Lybra. I will have a post for that gacha and all of it’s beauty soon – the boots just matched so awesome with my look, that I could not resist to already use them *blushes* The thigh high boots are super tight and have an amazing laced back. Certainly there are more colors available than just black in the gacha 😉

For the location I was trying first to set up something by myself, but this time I did not wanna come together as I desired it and so I made may way out to see if I could find a cyberpunk sim for my pictures. First I tried Cocoon, which is amazingly built but for non group members you have no rez rights and I wanted to use my pose stand this time. I need to go back another time as they really do have amazing spots for pictures and the sim rules even allow photographers as long as you wear an OOC titler, which you can find at the landing spot.

I did remember, that Insilico had rezzing open at least for rezzing a pose stand top hop on. The auto-return kicks in after a few minutes, but as long as you sit on your stand, you are safe. Just do not get scared when you are done and stand up as the stand will be returned to your lost and found folder.

After I could not decide about a perfect spot and had shot some random snaps, I did remember a few backdrops, that I got as a present from a friend not too long ago. The whole gacha set is amazing and I hope, I can find/win the ones I still miss in my collection. The “Cyberpunk Capsule *7*” was the perfect background for my look.
