The evening gown for Miss Costa Rica 2012, Laetitia Vella,  was handcrafted by Sonia28 Jie, owner and designer of the very elegant and sophisticated brand Son!a. Son!a is one of the well-known, established luxury brands in Second Life for gowns. As you can see on this wonderful design of the “Laetitia Dress”, the textures are very high-class and totally awesome made by Sonia. All the little fans are perfectly highlighted and the shadows are carefully set to give the full view of the skills Sonia has if it comes to textures and design. If you make your way to the Son!a Mainstore you can see that she made this wonderful dress in 5 more beautiful colors, so you can choose your favourite for yourself ;). The dress is shoulder free what gives a lot of room for the awesome jewelry made by Finesmith. Great ‘Hippi Crazy’ mesh news from Yasum!

Today in the middle of the winter season I am very happy to have one of the latest new releases from Yasum, that let me escape the cold and dreary grey weather outside for a bit. Yasum again and again amazes me with their new mesh clothing. The textures are incredible detailed and have a very real look. The mesh prims itself are made with such a love to every little detail and brought together, Azlyn Vaher creates these wonderful high-class casual clothing. The cute “Hippy” complete outfit comes in 2 different versions. One with a pants option, that you can see above and the second with a skirt option that you can see below.

The top and the skirt are made with mesh and you need one of the latest SL viewers to see them. To make the fit properly Azlyn includes various alpha layers and different sizes of the mesh prims. Anyways of skirt of pants Yasum has this super cool “Schlomper” boots, that for me fit to both styles. The boots as well show again the great skills of texturing and designing of Azlyn Vaher. This many layers this shoes are made of, the little tassels at the sides… simply amazing. On the top the sweet flower necklace and hairband are made by Yasum as well and they are the perfect accessory for both of the outfits. MVW 2012: Evening Gown for Miss South Korea 2012 by Angel Dessous

The wonderful evening gown for Miss South Korea 2012 was made by Angel Dessous. “Seoul” is an awesome gown, that stands out in prim work and design. Nando Korobase tailored this awesome dress for Miss Caoimhe Lionheart for this years MVW challenge. The skirt itself is a masterpiece with the long train in the back and the short front. The ruffles and folds are made with such a love for the detail that you only can imagine how long Nando must have sit there and created them. His great skills for the texturing you can see as well if you look more and more up to the bodice. First the waistpart comes in the same basic texture as the skirt and the cleavage and shoulders are covered by delicate, filigree lace. This awesome lace you can find for the leggins as well, and they are wonderful shown because of the high front of the skirt. The chest part is not just a basic black part it looks like 2 overlapping parts – again the prove for Nando’s love for the detail. The little collar carries 2 wonderful ornaments that match the necklace and the belly jewelry part. Together with the fingerless gloves the whole attire is very sophisticated and classy with a fresh and modern touch. If you take a closer look you can see the little jewelry parts at the belly and the necklace. Both are part of the stunning “Seoul” dress as well, so you only have to add a pair of earrings – in my case the white version of the “Hermosa Espina” from Finesmith. The incredible headpiece as well is made by Angel Dessous. No wonder that this incredible beautiful gown made the Top 12 for the MVW 2012 challenge!!!

Countdown – Winter Look #1

As I am still on tour with a band RL and we do not have that many times a stable and well internet connection – today just a quicky 😉 Lately I got parts of the new Winter Collection 2011 from Countdown. For today I chose the “Winter Look #1”. This wonderful complete outfit contains jacket, pants and boots. The eye catcher of this wonderful casual outfit are the puffy parts on wrists and neck of the jacket. The pants are in a lightly grey shade and the texture of the jacket is a piece of art itself. Fantastic new outfit from Yasum!!!

Again I have wonderful news from Yasum. One of the latest releases of Azlyn Vaher is called “Day Out” and it totally matches its name 😉 “Day Out” is the perfect outfit for the actual winter season.

High-waisted pants combined with a wonderful jacket. I would like to take a closer look at the totally awesome jacket. The sculpted prims are perfectly attached to the body so that for a reason this jacket nearly does not move if you are in motion… Usually jackets like this, for example with animations of your AO or even dances move weird through your body… the “Day Out” jacket does not! At the awesome fluffy fur wrist parts again we see the incredible designing skills of Azlyn Vaher. She indeed has an eye for the little and cute details, what makes her clothing so outstanding. The same texture gets repeated at the wonderful neck collar of the jacket. “Day Out” is available in the light version, wich I have here on my blog and as well in a darker version. So anyways what you like more you will find it at the Yasum Mainstore 😉

And again I would like to zoom closer, to see the amazing glasses I am wearing for this outfit. For longer I had my eyes on a store called Crie Style. This fantastic store made glasses and eye wear I never saw before. The glasses are so unbelievable detailed in many parts and the wild ideas of different eye wear is just incredible! For today I chose one of the Crie Style glasses called “Garbo” The beautiful glasses can be worn to nearly every style you can imagine, as they are so soft and filigree, that they go with nearly everything you mix and match. With a HUD you can change the look of the lenses and some other appearance depending on the model of the glasses. I rarely saw glasses like this and Luxury Eyewear hits the nail on the head 🙂

Wicca’s Wardrobe: LOTD 11/29/2011 – Mother of Darkness

Yesterday, again I made my way to the DAB Studios, owned by Daron Brandeis. He was IMing me, if I would have time for a shooting. A designer booked a commercial picture and he wanted me to style and model it. As I arrived, the designer was there and we had a short talk about what she wanted to have, the after all was cleared she left.

We did a few test shots to show her later and as we finished I was fooling around with a few looks and styles I created before as, I heard Daron freaking out about my actual outfit. Again it was clear that our crazy minds are not that far from each other and he started building a stand up little set. I put on the funny lightballs again and got very excited about, what he has in mind… I suddenly saw electric lights between my hands and instantly put on my glowy blue eyes… one word gave the other and I heard the camera going again and again… and what came out… was so incredible I have no words for…

Then suddenly I got a notecard from Pindar, who was sitting and watching the photography session… I had no clue that he writes and was hell touched by what just came up his mind watching the shooting. I asked him if I may use his little “poem” for the blog as it says more than 1000 words I could do…

In Memoriam of Freddy Mercury

“Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara (5 September 1946 – 24 November 1991) was a British musician, singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. As a performer, he was known for his flamboyant stage persona and powerful vocals over a four-octave range. As a songwriter, Mercury composed many hits for Queen, including “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Killer-Queen”, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” and “We are the Champions”. In addition to his work with Queen, he led a solo career, penning hits such as “Barcelona”, “I was born to love You” and “Living on my Own”. Mercury also occasionally served as a producer and guest musician (piano or vocals) for other artists. He died of bronchopneumonia brought on by AIDS on 24 November 1991, only one day after publicly acknowledging he had the disease.” (Wikipedia)

Today 20 years ago, one of the most genius musician with one of the most famous voices, lost his life to his disease. GizzA right in time did this wonderful “Freddy Mercury” inspiration.

News from Baiastice!!!

Baiastice has fantastic winter news! Sissy Pessoa, designer of Baiastice, created many new and stunning designs. For example the “La Romantique” skirt you can see above. A wonderful sculpted skirt with amazing details and highlights. All the sweet ruffles and the delicate, filigree lace at the bottom… awesome!

The “Big Fall Scarf” as well is one of the latest releases and it is a wonderful accessory that really turns heads if you walk with around. The cute “Profusion” shirt what I’m wearing here in purple totally fits to the skirt and scarf with its puffy arms 🙂 Every single part is so detailed and realistic it is just amazing.

To show the “Profusion” shirt better I combined it again, this time in champagne, with the new “Guyapi” long skirt, what is as well one of the new releases at Baiastice 🙂 For this style I as well used one of the new hair attachments by Baiastice called “Anaya”
