Its hunger was staggering

The craving for human flesh drove the creature into the early morning fog. In the cemetery awaited a new grave and sustenance. As it neared the fresh mound of dirt, the sound of heavy footsteps stopped the creature.
Two men, hunters with rifles slung over their shoulders, approached the forest near the creature’s hiding place. Dense trees and heavy foliage darkened the wooded corpse. Only a stray beam of sunshine could break through the heavy veil.
It followed quietly behind the humans. The hunters were now the prey. With each silent step, the creature shifted into wolf form. If somehow it was seen, a wolf in these woods would not raise an alarm that its true form would.
The first human made no sound as the creature sprang from its cover and easily snapped the man’s neck. The human in the lead turned to speak to his companion, but was dead before he could aim his weapon.
The creature chuckled as it shapeshifted back to its nature form. Humans are so easy to hunt. Their arrogance makes them careless. As if their weapons could ever harm any of its kind.
The young ones will benefit from the blood and after a week or two, the rotted flesh will be quite tasty. For now, it needed to return to the grave as planned. It had no taste for fresh meat. Only rotted, decayed flesh would satisfy the gnawing in the pit of its stomach.
Working quickly, in case more human hunters were about, the creature clawed through the fresh dirt to the plain wooden box buried deep. Oh, this one was a fat, succulent morsel of a man. Women tended to be too lean and children were hardly substantial.
The temptation to feast now was overwhelming, but the creature dare not spare the time. The risk of exposure was too great here in the cemetery. It closed the now empty casket and returned the dirt so no one would be suspicious.
Careful to leave no evidence behind, the creature picked up the body as if as it weighed nothing. It returned to the woods where it left the two hunters stuffed beneath the remains of a fallen tree.
It was a good day. Food aplenty for months. But winter was approaching. It would need to forage a few more times to insure a comfortable hibernation before the first snow fell. A ghoul has to do what a ghoul has to do to keep her family fed.
The creature returns to its lair. an old and forgotten slaughter house far from town. The perfect place to hide and raise its young ones until it is time for them to leave the nest. Its children should be sleep now, but will wake soon and demand food.
Yet one is missing – the eldest. A lopsided smile creeps across the creatures face as it carries the food to the preparation area. There, hard at work draining the blood from a fresh corpse, is the eldest child. The young one looks up with a look of apprehension, a need for approval.
The Ghoul drops the corpses to the floors and slowly approaches the young Ghoul who is squatted on the floor beside a blood filled bucket. Its hand caresses the young one’s face as a sense of pride washes over it. A macabre smile appears on the Ghoul’s face.

Again LeLUTKA surprises us with an amazing new release. The new “Gaia” head is perfectly designed to create some fresh, youthful, kawaii, or fantasy looks. The Greed of Man

There are only five of us left.

One year ago, when 214 men and women arrived on this desolate, unnamed planetoid, it was with only one thought on out minds – how sinfully rich we would be when we left.

When Boyton Bros. Mining Corporation discovered a new fuel source, which they shamelessly named BBMC-X, their stocks skyrocketed. Just one of the small green rocks, no bigger than a baseball, could fuel a city the size of New York for two years. And just in time, too. The Earth, with all its greedy, wasteful inhabitants, had depleted all the natural resources on the planet.

Mankind now reached out to the heavens and stripped each planet we touched until it, too, was a dead rock in space. We took and stole every useful resource for consumption on Earth and left behind an empty shell.

So 214 men and women came to this lifeless planet with the promise of untold wealth once we strip-mined every last iota of BBMC-X in existence. Everything ran smoothly for the first month, until the killings began. It began in the deepest shafts when a shift reported for work and found a dozen bodies shredded to pieces; limbs torn away.

Security was sent into the tunnels armed with the deadliest weapons know to man, only never to be seen again. Soon the attacks were closer to Base Camp. Metal building ripped open like they were made of paper. The mined BBMC-X disappeared. That’s when we saw the monster. Hideous. Malevolent Lethal. A mindless killing machine.

Its skin was like armor that no man-made weapon could pierce, Long talons sprouted from its back that could tear a man to pieces in seconds or fell him with a single drop poisonous venom. It was mindless, merciless and killed without conscious. Now the remaining five are hunting the beast. Or, is it hunting us?

As we enter a large chamber filled with BBMC-X, the attack is swift and silent. The other were killed instantly. I was not so lucky. I feel the venom flow through my blood like acid as convulsions violently shake my body. In my last moments, I watch the gruesome creature carefully pick up a small green rock that fell to the ground close by. A fanged mouth opens and hisses its contempt for me as it gently cradles the rock to it chest.

The hiss turns into what I can only describe as a soft, soothing purr as a deadly, gnarled claw reaches out to a green orb bigger than my head. At the creature’s touch, the orb glows and shadows shift inside it. Something inside is … alive. Each orb the creature lovingly caresses responds the same way.

These rocks are not a new fuel source. It is not ore to mine for our consumption. They are eggs. And the creature was only protecting her young!

The amazing story was written by my dear friend Anne Daumig. She was with me when I did shoot the pictures. Since I know what she can do and because she already had some cool ideas while I was looking for poses for my pictures, I could not resist to beg her… I asked her if she would be in a writing mood and give it  a try for a story to my picture ideas – She agreed and made my day with her writing magic again. Sometimes it is just a Discord call and you got a new sponsor for your blogging *giggles* It wasn’t planned in any way… it just happened. I did follow the releases or Rubedo for quite a while, since my friend Chey  told me she got a custom make up for one of her contests made by Foxy Ruby, owner and designer behind Rubedo.  Today when we talked I teased her with the question if she thinks, that I would qualify for being a Rubedo blogger when we again talked about the brand again – 5 minutes later I was a Rubedo blogger *giggles* I am always a bit nervous when it comes to makeup, as I do not have too  many good experiences with blogging makeup, since I am not the typical beauty, closeup, clean blogger. But Chey is the blogger manager and she knows my work so… lets give it a try!

I do like creative, unusual makeups and eyeshadows, they do give a face character and you can do so much with a certain color and style. When I tried the “Titania” eyeshadow,I instantly had the vision of one of those popular tattoo models in RL. I do not remember her name, but she does wear colorful and bold makeup when she does TV shows, events and interviews. I do like the dark casual, urban, Goth looks a lot anyway and so it wasn’t too hard to come up with a matching look 😉

To match the “Titania” eyeshadow from Rubedo, I used one of the lipsticks I recently got at Top1Salon. So the green was set already, as I liked that combo of black and green (certainly the eyeshadow comes in 13 more colors so you can find the one you need for your look) and I came across my usual problem – one shade of green now I need to find fingernails with the perfect matching shade of green – that can end up in a headache! But not of you have the awesome “My Nails” from L’Emporio! You can hide the text in the nails and with their amazing HUD you can have preset colors PLUS you can edit them with a colorfield.

Vegas now does tattoos that work with the LeLUTKA EvoX heads. At Uber they do have one of their newest releases called “Siren” and it perfectly matched the look which I was going for. The incredible amazing necklace was made by AsteroidBox while the cool rings are from Eclipse Art Studio. Now who made that super cool glasses? Certainly CerberusXing! Those glasses are available in gold and silver and you get a HUD to texture the lenses in 8 different colors and as well each of them separately.

I am super excited what else the Rubedo makeup will challenge me to develop – I am looking forward to it 😉
