In the Arena with Finesmith & EMO-tions

Today I have some wonderful news from Finesmith & EMO-tions again.

Sometimes I just get caught by my fantasy mood and can’t do anything against it :p

When I put on the new “Arena” dress from Finesmith, I immediately had the idea of the look. This black dress with the white decorations and the kinda metallic looking skirt screamed about a powerful and strong fantasy look in my opinion. I added the “Dreamworld” hair style from EMO-tions. This fantastic hairstyle was made for this years hairfair. The horns are an extra attachment, you can wear the hair without the horns as well. The hair itself has some cool braids that lay over your shoulder down to your right side chest, with a nice hair band, decorated with a flower, at the top.

For he shoes I decided to go with one of my favourite pair of shoes at the moment, the “Gladiator Couture Princess Heels” from Dirty Princess. They require the Slink high mesh feet to be worn properly.

The amazing silver makeup I found at LpD and the wonderful tattoo was hand-made by Julie Hastings, owner and designer of White Widow.

For the decoration I remembered the “Segmented Curtain Silver”, wich was made for the TLC’s The Garden event and is contained in the “Watertower Dekopack”.

Breakfast @ Mimi’s Choice Part II

Today I would like to showcase the second outfit I was wearing for the Breakfast @ Mimmi’s Choice runway show done by :PENUMBRA.

My second outfit came from Utopia. Utopia is well-known for amazing texture work especially for filigree lace textures. This you can perfectly see on the “Kate” dress from Utopia. This long and elegant but as well sexy dress with the huge black ruffles and ribbons is the perfect choice for elegant and sophisticated moments. With the big hat, which adds even more elegance, I really felt ready to go to Ascot and watch one of the horse racings there 😉

The wonderful jewelry set I am wearing was made by Belle Roussel, owner and designer of Chop Zuey. The “Espresso in Pompeii” set originally was made for one of the MVW contestants in 2012 and it perfectly matched the look with the golden metals and the little black gems.

Usually it is not easy to find hair, that goes well under a hat but the “Easy” hairstyle from Vanity Hair did fit very well under the amazing huge hat without sticking out somewhere 😉

Back in Black with Miamai

Today I have something special. The “Arawn” outfit from Miamai. Now many of you will think, that you already know this outfit and that it would be quite old… Partwise you are right as this is one of the best sellers of the Miamai Black Collection. But with the moving of the mainstore, Monica Outlander, owner and designer of Miamai, updated some of her best sellers for the new mesh body parts like slink hands and feet, phat azz or lola appliers.

To pimp the “Arawn” outfit I used one of the latest releases from Enfant Terrible, the “Caelens Armor” shoulder parts in black. The cool “Aidan” hairstyle comes from EMO-tions and the “Creature Glasses” I made myself for my store Wicca’s Wardrobe.

To complete the look, I used the “Tall Leather Thigh Boots” made by Slink in black.

Breakfast at Mimi’s Choice – Part I

Lately I had the great pleasure to walk a show for .PENUMBRA.

The did an amazing show case of Mimi’s Choice. Mimi Juneau runs that amazing place and she has all of the great huge brands under her roof there. For the show I got 2 different outfits and the first I would like to showcase in this post.

The awesome “Leather Glam” mesh dress was made by [orage]. A short and tight dress with an amazing metal belt wich can be texture changed between gold and silver. The incredible jewelry was made by Belle Roussel, owner and designer of Chop Zuey. For this styling I took parts of the “Pentacostal Diamond” set. The huge bracelets is a miscture of 3 single attachments wich go wonderful together. For the necklace you have the option of a longer necklace of the short choker I am wearing for this post. The shoes I found at the last round of Collabor88 and the beautiful hair at Magika. For the sun glasses I chose one of my long time favourites from Steinwerk.

Hunger Games Tribute by Lybra

Today our journey through the Capitol and the Districts brings us to District 1, wich stands for luxury. How else than Lybra Rage owner and designer of Lybra could have chosen this District 😉 .

District 1 is one of the wealthiest districts of Panem. Parents from district 1 seem to name their children after diamonds or precious gems, items or fabrics, like we have Glimmer and Marvel for the 74th Hunger Games. The children of District seem to be very pride in taking part in the Hunger Games and usually are part of the Careers, who band together to get rid of the weaker ones first.

I would like to start with “Glimmer” a wonderful light golden dress with an amazing golden back piece and a wonderful matching Tiara. The dress itself shows a lot of skin and besides the elegant and classy look that adds a sweet sexy touch as well.

The special for this outfit would be, that it is a limited gown with only 20 copies and there are not much left! So go and get your “Glimmer” dress and with that, a piece of the legendary Hunger Games Tribute Event done by Opium Evolution.

The second outfit of Lybra for the Hunger Games Tribute is the “Absinthe” gown. In contrast to the “Glimmer” gown this one is made of a dark golden fabric with a long back train, wich is decorated at the end with some amazing feather looking prims.

Those feathers are repeated on the marvelous head – piece as well, wich almost looks like a crown and perfectly fits in to District 1.

Styling around a hat?

Lately I had a show wich gave me some nice challenge during the styling.

Usually we get an outfit and have to style around with hair, accessories, shoes and poses. This time we just got hat as a basic and it should kinda be the center of your looks.

I was sitting down first and looked at all those hats and tried to imagine a time frame for them to be in and then slowly looks grew in my head for each one.

The difficulty mainly was, to not loose the hat in the look. The hat as a very little part on your head still had to stay kinda as the main focus.

One of my hats was the “Soleil” hat from Miamai, made for the Art in Hats 2014 event. This wonderful purple hat with the peacock feather decoration on the left side of the hat. The hat has a very young and modern look so I wanted to try to kinda develop a new and modern 80s look for it as the colors called so much for the 80s.

I wanted to kinda pull the purple and green through the whole styling so I decided to wear the cool “Moxie” outfit from PurpleMoon as it gives the basic 80s look for me with the jacked that has those huge shoulder parts and the amazing huge belt that I remember very well for the 80s together with some tight leggings 😉

So the purple part was covered and I just had to set some accents in green to bring the peacock feathers back into the center. That happened with the amazing earrings I found on marketplace and the kick ass “Summer Breeze Flips” shoes from PurpleMoon wich were part of the Le’Accessories event.

The awesome apple-green nail polish I found in the “Bright Set” from Nailed It! and the perfect finish for my look made the “Wicca Lips” in apple from Silken Moon.

LOTD 08/02/2014 featuring Faster Pussycat

Sometimes you just wanna clean you inventory and you find things that you already forgot about.

So it happenend when I was sitting on my sky platform and found one of the wonderful creations of Honey Bender, owner and designer of Faster Pussycat. The amazing “Diablo” mesh dress in beige.

With the amazing beige tones it gave a kinda vintage touch to me but with the hat, and the spine it again was very modern. I still decided to try the vintage meets future look in a more vintage looking picture.

The dres sis mesh made with awesome skirt attachments that are moving. The hat as well is part of the outfit and with the cool looking veil, that kinda looks windblown from the front to the back, it totally made it’s way into my heart.

Honey Bender is one of the “oldest” friends I have in SL and I always admired her work and she was and still is always a huge inspiration for me. Her creations are so unique and you can tell by a piece of clothing if she made it. She always gives her designs a very edgy twist even if they look sometimes even casual on the first view 😉

A Tribute to the Hunger Games by Wicca’s Wardrobe

Today is a very special day for me. The first time my own creations will be showcased on a runway. I was asked my Anastacia Markova to be part of the Hunger Games Tribute done my Opium Evolution.

I sat down for 3 weeks to think about what I would like to do for this amazing event. I am addicted to the Hunger Games stories. I saw both movies, read all the books and have 3 parts as audio book, so I can say I am kinda.. obsessed*giggles*

I love the idea of the futuristic and high fashion designs that are worn in the movies as well the various websites about Capitol Couture.

In the past I already released my Claw Boots and the Mathayus Heels, wich as well were made after a website that shows Capitol Couture.

Today I would like to start with my “Enobaria” outfit.

The name Enobaria was taken from one of the tributes that were chosen to be part of the hunger games. She won the 62nd Hunger Games and was known of killing her fellow tributes by ripping their throats with her bare teeth. She was called back for the 75th Hunger Games, the Quarter Quell edition, as the female tribute of district 2 one of the Career alliance districts.

The “Enobaria” outfit is a top and leggings combination, wich as well can be worn single to make your own mix and match. For the Capitol Couture version I chose the color combination teal and black. The top kinda is an ensemble of blouse and corset and with the long arms and all the frills it was perfect in my view.

The leggings are only wearable with the Slink high feet, wich are not included in the package. The one part legging shows a metallic teal top with garter belt and garters wich hold long socks or stockings where the toes peek out. I totally fell in love with those pants and so it was no question that I made them part of my “Enobaria” outfit.

The Mask as well is part of the outfit and comes in a rigged and unrigged version.

Play Chess with Rfyre & EMO-tions!

Today I would like to showcase the contribution of Rfyre to the Month of Games event.

The amazing “No Ones Pawn” mesh dress comes with gloves, boots and the awesome detailed head-piece. The dress itself carries a chess textured fabric and with the garters, the longer back and the short front it has a very sexy look. The gloves come with a HUD that lets you chose from different hand positions

When I did the styling and the pics I was all to the Musical Chess listening to all that amazing songs. One is an old-time favourite from mine and I had it in a turnaround quite a few times while I edited the pics, so iI would like to share it with you 😉

The hair style was one of the releases of EMO-tions for the Hairfair 2014. The “Love War” hair actually comes with an amazing headpiece, wich I will showcase in another post soon. I just liked the hair with the one braid in between the loose open hair for that look.

In the musical it’s about a snobby, intellectual chess master who visits Bangkok, capital of Thailand, for a chess championship, but is looking down on everything else that goes on there, the sex tourism and stuff like that. And he has no other interest than the chess, lol. But the devil walking next to him line, might indicate that he also feels tempted while being there. But he needs to stay focussed to win the game.

Hunger Games Tribute by Zibska

Today I have the great pleasure to showcase of the fantastic creations of Zibska for the Hunger Games Tribute Event run by Opium Evolution.

Zibska is well-known for amazing designs that have an edgy and out of the box look. The “Loor” outfit again shows that there is always something new in the genius mind of Zib Scaggs, owner and designer of Zibska, The idea with the huge metal helmet and the matching cuffs together with that red and silver top will turn heads everywhere you go. For the pants we have smart and modern striped fabric that perfectly completes the whole ensemble.

There will be more amazing Capitol Couture looking designs and amazing tributes to the Hunger games soon in the upcoming “Hunger Games Tribute” event done by Opium Evolution. So stay tuned, I will have more designs featured soon!
